Chapter 71: Cheapness
Splinter gazed down at the toys he had scavenged for his sons.
They were castoffs from the sewers, but Splinter knew it was the best he could do for them.
They reeked of cheapness and he could understand why they were thrown away so carelessly.
But he knew that despite the cheapness of these toys, his sons would love them.
He had taught them to be grateful or everything they had, and they were.
The most important thing was that they brought his boys happiness and that was the greatest gift of all.
A/N: I enjoyed writing this little drabble though it makes me sad in a way. Feel free to leave a review and have a shelltastic day.
