So now for this fic to get an update! :D Did you miss it?

Chapter 10

"Who the hell did this to Gin?" Ichigo asked as Shiro tended to the demon's wounds. "I mean...he can't be found right?"

"Normally no. But sometimes enemies find their way into his realm in Limbo. Usually he can take them out but..." Shiro shook his head sadly. "He's going to feel it in the morning that's for sure..."

"Tsk, understatement...ngh...of the year..." Gin coughed, eyes opening slowly. "Feelin' it now asshole."

"Well at least it means your alive." Ichigo sighed "Did you see who did this?"

"No...and I didn't sense them either." Shiro scowled and Gin nodded weakly. "You get it...a spirit did this..."

"Spirit?"

"Sometimes humans, demons, or angels become vengeful spirits when they die. You can only see them at night, as you know, but the darker ones can only be seen under a full moon. Many beings like us can't even sense them, since they are dead." Shiro explained for Ichigo, the young man nodding and his brow furrowing in thought.

Helel? Are you a spirit? He asked, feeling the angel's mind reach his.

'Yes.' Helel replied worridly. 'But I am trapped within you, I cannot leave.'

I believe you...i was just wondering, it helps to have an example. He then returned his focus to the conversation. "So...are they all evil?"

"No. There are many that are simply misguided, and can be reasoned with, some claim vengence but want revenge against someone and are harmless to others." Gin said and coughed. "Shit...this is not mah day."

"Lay back and get more rest Gin. Me and Ichigo will keep watch." Gin shrugged and slumped against the couch, asleep. "Ichigo i want you to watch him tonight, alright?"

"No, I want to-mmph?!" Lips silenced his voice aand he sighed. "Fine...but promise me you'll be safe, ok?" Shiro nodded and left Ichigo behind.

Ichigo couldn't help bt feel uneasy as the night droned on, Shiro nowhere to be seen. Shiro...where are you?

'Worried for Samael?' Helel's voice echoed calmly in his head.

Yeah...you?

'Naturally, however I have faith in his strength. You should too.' Ichigo huffed and continued gazing out the window. 'Love is very powerful: he will return.'

I know...I trust him. He replied and jumped when the door opened. "Shiro-Shiro?!" He caught the Fallen as he slid to the floor, clearly exhausted and panting. "Shiro what's wrong?"

"Just used...too much power." He panted. "Sorry if I worried you...but-"

"But nothing! Shiro, why didn't you tell me that you were so tired? Let me get you to bed ok? Or...do you need blood?" He asked and Shiro shook his head. "Shi-"

"I'm fine Ichigo...promise. Just tired is all." Ichigo rolled his eyes and aided him up the stairs. Ichigo helped him undress before kissing him warmly on the lips. "Ichigo..."

"Please...we're together right? I can help too. I'm not this century's Reaper for no reason." He frowned. "And I love you...so let me help you. You stay and rest...I'll go figure out what's wrong."

"...Alright." Shiro sighed. "But if you aren't back by morning, I will lock you in a closet." Ichigo laughed at the empty threat and kissed his cheek. He grabbed a coat and slipped the hood up, leaving the house.

'I do not like the thoughts I hear in your head. Are you certain you wish to do this?'

We need information...and Shiro trusts only one other person for that job...and I have something he wants. I may be able to use this. Ichigo replied mentally. He may not be happy...but I want to do something to help!

'...You are very brave.' Helel commented before leaving the forefront of Ichigo's mind. Ichigo made his way to a familiar alley and looked around.

"I know you're here...come out Grimm."

"Grimm? Aww, are we at pet names already?" The blue haired incubus appeared and sent shivers up Ichigo's spine...the good kind. "So, what ya need?"

"Information...someone attacked Gin: they believe it's a spirit."

"Ouch...that'll be rough...I expect compensation." Ichigo's brown eyes grew serious and he nodded. "Wait...seriously?"

"Yes. If it helps..." He looked directly into Grimmjow's eyes. "I will give you my body for one night, in exchange for information."
