As he drives towards his mansion he continuously glances over at the sleeping beauty in his passenger seat with a slight smirk on his face. He enters the gates to his home and pulls into the massive garage. As the engines purr quiets, the dark beauty stirs and looks around in slight confusion before giving him a seductive grin and winking she opens the door and bolts out of the car giggling with the thought of him chasing her.

He lets a feral growl spill from his lips as a matching grin uplifts those same lips. He slowly locks the car, then he glides into the house and flares his youkai so that she knows that he is coming and he races in the direction of her giggles, after checking that no one was around to see his break in façade.

She decided to up the ante since his youkai showed that he was curious but not going blindly into the chase. She cloaked her reiki and scent so that he could not find her easily. She hears him snarl and feels his youkai swirl from curious to furious and wanting as soon as he realized what she did and she giggles thinking back to when they first met.

FLASHBACK

Kagome was working at a high class club called Starlight. She had been really excited to be back from her vacation. She was helping a young blonde decide what she wanted for her first drink of the night when a black-haired demoness scoffed and caught Kagome's attention. Kagome being ever pleasant cheerfully asked her what she wanted and the female glared and said "Well I guess they let all kinds of trash tend here. If you don't know who I am and what I want then you do not belong behind that counter you belong on the streets with the rest of the loss-class garbage."

Kagome raises her eyebrow and states very snippily "This happens to be my club thank you miss and if you don't like how its run just because a female not of noble blood like you is not recognized right away then you may kindly leave or I shall make you leave myself" She slightly sparks her reiki across the bottles of liquor behind her and glares forcibly.

The female glares again and states haughtily "There is no way a HUMAN can own a high class demon favored club, especially not horribly attired mikos." She looks Kagome head to toe afterwards sneering in disgust at her. Then a huge silver-haired male walks up behind the demoness and asks in a deliciously sinfully deep voice "Is there a problem here my dear." The demoness smirks Kagome's way and nods tearfully "This horrible human is lying and saying that she owns this place, then she threatened me with her reiki. She didn't even address be by name like this place is known for." The man looks at her with a raised eyebrow and asks "Is this true?"

Kagome looks him over swiftly and shakes her head "No. This is my bar Mr. Tashio though I did threaten her for her foul attitude and her rude behavior. She has no right to talk to anyone like that just because she was not recognized." He looks at the demoness and says "Kagura how can you expect to be recognized the first time you are here. I did not bring you here to make a fool of me but to show you the finer things in life. If you cannot respect the way that this establishment is run then you cannot appear with me here in public. Taking on the Tashio name is not something to take light of not only do you need to change your appearance, but also your attitude. Simply because a human is running a favoured club in demon high class society you should be honored to be here."

He looks back a Kagome and gives her a slight smile and bows "I deeply apologize for any inconvience Kagura has caused and for any rude remarks she has made and I hope you continue to serve my family even though we have been disgraceful." Kagome gives him a bright smile and says "Lord Touga Inu No Tashio and Prince Inu-Yasha No Tashio are by far my best patrons your highness. I could never fault them for something that one woman who does not know her place does, you are welcome here anytime it pleases you, though I do ask that she returns. I started this establishment to unite demons and humans not to alienate either species."

The prince just nods and turns to Kagura and glares while the previously mentioned prince approaches the counter "Kags hows it going tonight?" She smiles and turns to him "Inu I thought that princess Kikyo was accompanying you on the boat this weekend." He looks at her sheepishly and ducks his head "I didn't ask her. I was actually hoping that you would come with me and father he so wants to see you this weekend since you mysteriously disappeared from the party once mr icicle over here disappeared."

She blushes and turns away cleaning a sparkling glass. Inu-Yasha smirks and slips a paper to his brother. She turns around and says "I wish I could, but two of my bartenders quit and another is on vacation." He frowns and gives a pointed look to his brother. Who looks at the paper and reads it, it states get a move on she is single snatch her up before kouga does.

The Ice Prince looks up at her and gives her a genuine smile and says "I insist that you accompany me to my father's boat this weekend." She shakes her head but her friend Sango butts in and says "She definitely will. " He nods and says "It's settled then." And walks away.

END FLASHBACK

Kagome smiles at the memory remembering how mad she was at Sango and how Sango took the whole weekend shift from her. She freaked out about the date but it went well hence they are still seeing each other a year later.
