a/n So I have decided my faithful readers that I will continue this story only as long as you are enjoying it. I will try to have a new chapter up once a week most likely on a Wednesday or a Thursday, though I may decide to update more frequently as time allows. Also I am looking for a beta reader at this point in time for public display along with loved once loved always and would prefer it to be someone that has the time to read the new chapter and allow for me to post it in a timely fashion. Now on with the story. Oh before I forget I do not own Inu-Yasha or any of its affiliates.

The couple go inside of the mansion only to hear the boisterous voice of the current Lord of the West in the foyer. Kagome sighs in defeat and glances at her Tai-Youkai out of the corner of her eye noticing that he no longer has warmth in his golden eyes.
She knows that he only shows her the passion that he holds within and does not like to show anyone else the feelings he has for her, but she still can't help but to be disappointed when he lets go of her hand as if it had burned.
She frowns mentally and decides that it will be something that will never change about her beloved prince. She plasters an all too false smile on her face and walks into the entry way behind him knowing that with his still old fashioned thinking he would not appreciate her walking ahead of him.
As she enters the foyer she can't help but ogle the behind of the stoic Ice Prince in front of her. She tries to keep her desire for him in check since they are in fact not alone anymore. He always seemed to be angry later on when she shows this desire and allows others to smell it.
She smiles fondly at him before giggling at the sight in front of her. The current lord of the west is standing on one foot whining to his wife that she is being unreasonable. She had to admit that the Tashio residence is never boring when he is home.
She liked him for the most part, though at times he was a bit too playful for her liking and she never understood how his wife could put up with his playful and fun-loving attitude, that same attitude never seized to amaze her considering he was the owner of the biggest technological company in all of Tokyo, in fact it was the biggest and most successful in all of Japan.
He notices his son entering the room with his intended and gives them a huge grin before picking Kagome up in a giant hug and twirling her around. Izayoi, his wife, giggles and says "Touga release the poor girl before you make her too dizzy to stand." He puts Kagome down gently, making sure that she has her balance before releasing her and turns to his wife still outing about something or another.
"My dear, I still believe stand by what I say when I say that Kagome here would make a beautiful and understanding princess and Lady Of The West." Izayoi shakes her head and nods in agreeance. "I completely agree with you on that, but we mustn't rush them." The continue to argue even though Kagome and Sesshomaru are still in the room.
Kagome tries to catch Sesshmaru's attention but he is completely immersed in the conversation the couple is having so she sighs and quietly leaves the room, not a single one of them notice that she has left nor do they see the slight sadness on her face as she does.
She goes out to the stables behind the house to visit Ah-Un. As she opens the door she is greeted by Jaken, a toad demon that has served the Tashio residence for many centuries. He sighs and his head seeing the despair on the face of the miko.
He very rarely has interaction with her, but when he does he always tries to put a smile on her face, not for the sake of the family he serves, but because he honestly likes the girl and doesn't like that she is always unhappy.
"Kagome you must see the new Stallion that was brought in he is truly a magnificent creature." He says to her as she takes two carrots and some apple treats from the bin beside him. Her eyes light and she looks down on the small demon. "Please show her to me." He nods and stands from the desk that was made for him and watches at the woman gives the carrots to the old two-headed dragon Ah-Un. He knows that the girl loves the old dragon and silently wishes that she would be allowed to spend more time with them.
She smiles at Ah-Un and gently pets their head whispering to them that she missed them and will try to visit them more often. The dragon nuzzles their heads against the priestess trying to cheer her up. They have lived a long time and have never received as nice of treatment from any other female besides Rin, the young onna that they loved dearly and were deeply sadden when she was taken from them long ago.
Kagome walks down the aisle next to Jaken handing out treats to each occupant of the stalls. Jaken tugs on her sleeve gently and stops in front of a previously empty stall and watches as Kagome's eyes light up at the sight of the blue flamed demon stallion that had just arrived that very morning and warns her gently "He is not nearly as tame as Ah-Un my dear, he just came this morning and so far none have come to see him, he may not allow you touch him."
Kagome nods and whispers softly to the stallion "Hello precious, my name is Kagome." The stallion looks at her in curiosity. She gently holds out an apple treat for him to take if he pleased and he looks at her through bright amethyst eyes before lowering his head to gently take the treat from her hand.
Kagome smiles and watches the stallion with tender care. Her eyes still holding a glimmer of sadness in them, but it was not nearly as bad as when she came in. The stallion then does something that neither of them expect and tends his neck to touch his forehead to hers.
Kagome tries not to be afraid of the flames surrounding the stallion knowing that if she were to startle him they would severely burn her maybe even kill her. The stallion looks into her eyes and snorts smoke escaping his nostrils. Kagome reaches up to touch his muzzle, but before she can, Touga walks in a yells at her to stop. She jumps back in fright and tilts her head at the Dai-Youkai in confusion.
He sighs and states the the stallion is too dangerous for a priestess to touch. The stallion stamps a green-flamed hoof and glares at the offending male. Before turning and laying down on the soft hay.
Kagome sighs and turns smiles up at the lord asking "Is there something that I may help you with?" Touga looks at the female sadly and nods "I am going to be taking you home now. Sesshomaru is currently taking care of some business and will not be done for quite some time so he asked if I could do so for him." Kagome nods brushing her hands together to remove the crumbs from them.
She gives Jaken and the stallion a soft farewell stopping only to give Ah-Un one final pet and walks out of the stable following Touga to his car.
a/n So this was a rather long chapter ne? I hope you enjoyed it, and though I do love the favorites and follows I would really appreciate it if you left me a review it helps me to know what you guys would like to see happen and if there are mistakes or flaws in my plot line or sentence structure. Also I will probably be renaming this story since it was originally meant to be only a one shot so I would be very welcome to any ideas on the name and if I happen to choose your idea I will of course give you full credit for the idea.
