"Nohrian brat," Takumi scoffed. He cocked his bow and aimed quickly at Elise, releasing the string before Corrin and the others could react. Elise's cry of pain shocked the Nohrian royal siblings out of their momentary stupor.
"Elise!" Xander, Corrin, Leo, and Camilla cried. Corrin leaned down next to her sister, placing his hands gently on her shoulders.
"Are you alright? Where did he shoot you?" Corrin asked, the dragon's normally calm facade breaking.
"I'm fine. The arrow just grazed my side." Elise replied, smiling wearily. The Nohr princess removed her hand from where it rested above her hip, revealing that the arrow had cut through her clothing and her skin, but not too deeply.
"Felicia," Corrin called the maid over. She appeared at once and knealed next to Elise. "Take care of her while we take care of this."
Takumi scoffed as he heard the statement. "You won't win again, Corrin."
"I won't allow you to hurt my family." Corrin growled. She clenched her teeth together and balled her fists, feeling the anger brew inside of her.
"Corrin. Don't." Xander warned. The high prince of Nohr observed the tell tale signs of his sister losing control. He moved swiftly to prevent her from chasing after the Hoshidan prince, but was caught off guard by three figures racing past him.
Corrin's body had lost its tension, replaced by shock. She watched as three animals chased Takumi out of the dock, stopping only when they were certain he was gone from the area. One large wolfgenesser, one small wolfgenesser, and one small dragon lumbered back to her side.
"We chased the bad man out of here, Mama!" Kana cried happily, having changed back into his human form. "He can't hurt Aunt Elise anymore!"
"He won't dare show up again anytime soon." Velouria and Keaton agreed, smiling.
A loud, bousterious laugh called for Corrin's attention. The dragon turned and saw Xander chuckling, along with the rest of the Nohrian royal siblings. Elise was now seated on the ground, leaning against Leo's mount.
"I'm glad I don't have to have a special song to control your wolves and dragons, Corrin." Azura laughed, stepping forward.
Corrin smiled in return, looking fondly at her shape shifting family. "Thankfully not, they're are tame as they'll ever be."
Velouria grinned and tackled her father in a hug, the surprise guesture knocking the older wolfgenesser to the ground with an undignifed squeal. Kana, giggling, then continued the dog pile and flung himself on top of his sister, Keaton groaning at the sudden weight.
"Well, most of the time." Corrin amended, laughing.
