Chapter 11
(Past)
Mukuro stoned at the apartment house of his mother's friend's. It wasn't as grand as their mini Mansion, but the design….
Too mundane. Mainstream even.
He couldn't imagine living in such conditions. Or maybe because he had been living in the world of riches, and even the lab that he was put in looked much high class than this.
"Come in, Elena-chan, Daemon-san, Mukuro-kun, Chrome-chan." Nana smiled as she welcomed her guests. "Tsu-kun, can you help me to make some tea or coffee for our guests?"
Tsuna sighed. "They are your responsibility." Tsuna thought for a moment before he smiled. "Well, except for Mukuro and Chrome. They're mine."
Tsuna skipped away with the hint of joy when something shot across him. Tsuna pout at the weapon and picked it up.
"Kyoya-sempai! How many times do I have to tell you to stop attacking me?!"
"Hn." Don't care.
"Mou! Uncle Keichi! Aunt Yukari! Do something about Kyoya-sempai!" Tsuna whined, only to get a passive response from Keichi and a thumb-up from Yukari to her nephew. Kyoya then saw their newest guests and zoned into Mukuro.
"Pineapple head." Kyoya smirked.
Mukuro growled when he thought of something even better. "Skylark."
Both users were on head to head, and with Mukuro who materialized his trident, both of them were ready to fight against one another.
But before anything could happen, Tsuna stopped them with black half covered finger gloves. "Stop it, Mukuro Spade, Hibari Kyoya."
Mukuro smirked at the effect that the certain child's aura gave while Kyoya was surprised himself. "Wao."
"Kufufufu… Shall we, skylark?" Kyoya's passive face suddenly bore a smirk.
"This is one of the reasons why the smallest animals would grow their own fangs, Kyo-kun." Yukari chirped.
Apparently, Tsuna once again took the chill-out candy and wouldn't even go caring about what his newest Guardians did. Bashing up Guardians would never be the solution, and neither fighting just outside the Sawada apartment house would be good, especially when there is the effect of Nana's anger.
But Nana's anger could never be compared to Tsuna's.
No. Nein. Nada.
Kyoya hissed at the comment and at the touch of his heavily bruised injuries. Yukari shook her head as she continued.
"A Hibari should endure on such shallow bruising." Kyoya hissed once more.
"Stupid baby carnivore."
"Don't cuss at me, Kyoya-sempai. I'm innocent, and I'm not a carnivore or a herbivore. I'm just Sawada Tsunayoshi."
"Hn."
"Kufufufu… getting defeated, Skylark?" Kyoya passively stared at Mukuro and rolled his eyes.
"Same condition." You're in the same condition, Pineapple.
Mukuro growled. He was no better than Kyoya as bruises and injuries littered around his body, and Daemon narrowed his eyes as he smirked.
"Nufufufu… It shows that Mukuro is capable of taking care of himself, unlike the small skylark." Kyoya ticked off, finding that it was the last straw for them to insult him.
"I beg to differ, Stupid Melon." A tick mark appeared on Daemon's head, annoyed with the sarcastic remark. Keichi was upset himself that his son was insulted. "My son has maintained perfect order in Namimori and did your son do? He went off killing people for his own sick pleasure." He scoffed.
Izumi (How he got there is another story) curiously stared at the invisible ping-pong match between the cloud and mist as well as their younger counterparts.
"Onii-sama, control your temper, will you?" Yukari pinched his ear while another woman did the same to Daemon.
"Same goes to you too, Daemon." Both men winced at the pain while both the younger counterparts sniggered at their older parts.
Both women released their pinched ears at the same time, leading both of them to tend on their sore injury.
"Now, Kyoya/Mukuro, let's go to the living room, shall we?" Yukari and Elena took a look at each other for a second and smiled cheerfully. Within less than a second they got along and started talking animatedly.
The young Mist and Cloud could only stare at each other before walking off to their designated area.
The living room would be considered small if all of their members decided to meet, but this time was only selected members, along with the few who had their respective work to do at Mezzo Cielo. Yuka would have loved to come, but in fear of being found by Mikan, she could only hide for her hidden purpose.
"Keichi, Yukari, she asked me to pass this to you two since she finds it interesting for you two to work together on this." Nana seemed like she had been smiling, but the core of her eyes, it was freezing cold that it could have frozen the deadest hitman. (Somewhere along the coast, the previous hitman sneezed and shivered out of fear.)
Keichi and Yukari didn't care of how she was acting and took the file with carefree/stoic feelings.
Once in a while there would be people who would ask how the twins of the Hibari clan are so similar when they are so different, would be when something captures both of their interests. Don't get them wrong, Yukari is picky in her own right, and picky as in every little situation would never surprise her. Keichi has more feelings even with his passive expressions.
But right now and then, Yukari's eyes turned cold and stopped smiling while Keichi showed what was truly expected of his twin to do: Smile. But it was not the normal smile that he could give in, but rather the cold, cold smile that freezes down the blood of the meek. Yukari smiled with that same cold feeling.
Both left with a strong sense of killer intent.
Nana shrugged down the feeling as she took a cup of the Camellia tea that the young Model brought back. It hit down right at the spot and Nana had the urge to moan at the taste of it.
"That just hit the spot." Nana broke the cold atmosphere with her flowery atmosphere, making it all the more awkward at the moment.
"Notte Fantasma. How much do you know about it?" Elena frowned as Daemon stiffened.
"How do you know about it? Everyone has been calling it the ghost of the Cosa Nostra."
Nana put her tea cup down to her coaster, before putting it down on the table.
"Ghost of Cosa Nostra? Really? Well, I haven't been reading the Mafia news these days, but we preferred to be called Phantoms. Ghosts makes it more…" Nana paused for dramatic effect. "Supernatural."
"Don't tell me….." Elena bit her lip.
"We are the Notte Fantasma Famiglia, Elena-chan, and Daemon-san." Nana sighed. It's all or nothing.
"And why does the infamous ranked 2nd Famiglia in front of us drinking tea normally?" Daemon scowled. "Or do you want us to do something disgusting for your Famiglia? Like killing the Vongola heirs?"
Nana looked stunned at Daemon's words. "Goodness gracious, no! I would leave my dearest Tsu-kun this Famiglia, even if it means to sacrifice one of my sons!"
Daemon growled as he misinterpreted her words. "You are willing to kill one of them for our own selfish sake!"
Nana felt like face-palming. "No, Daemon-san. Ienari is one of the Vongola Candidates. Tsu-kun is all I need for such a beautiful Famiglia of mine."
Elena looked confused yet shocked. "But you said….."
"That's supposed to be a cover-up if anything happens. We've decided that we would want you to be part of it." Nana took a breath before continuing. "If you want to take care of Vongola, it's better when you could see it from our point of view since Tsu-kun has made devices that could see through their plans. And no, we usually took a peak. Tsu-kun does the fooling around in his own way."
"And what happens if we don't join your Famiglia?" Daemon's eyes narrowed. He had been trying hard to get rid of the Mafia world for quite a while since Chrome came into their lives, and getting back in would mean that he has to take care of the dear Famiglia he was part of once more.
"Nothing."
"Nothing?"
"Absolutely nothing." Nana smiled.
"This is ridiculous!"
"Not for Notte Fantasma," Nana explained before downgrading to murmuring. "Except for Camellia but she was homeless and with an infant no less."
No one could ever hear what Nana had actually said, but Daemon wasn't famous with his respective flames for nothing. He had another flame which he didn't tell Primo, but took it as a fluke instead. Primo hadn't trust him fully, but at the same time, there's those eyes of understanding his circumstances. And Nana gave the same kind of understanding eyes. And it reminded him of someone who was with Primo sometimes.
At times, the guardians would tease their boss about having a lover and he would reject with all of his might, but it never failed to bring smiles amongst the most of them. But now if he think about it, the woman that has been with him had looked almost just like her.
"Do you know of a person called …..?"
Nana look at Izumi in confusion. Izumi shook his head profusely and mouthed [Ask Yuka]. Yuka who was listening in Nana's mind, and even she couldn't remember of that name from the time of her time-traveling days.
"I don't think so, Daemon-san."
There was the moment of awkward silence and no one was going to interrupt when Tsuna came in with a red face.
"Mama~"
"Tsu-kun?!" Nana jumped up and ran towards to him. "What happened to you, Sawada Tsunayoshi!?"
Tsuna gave a hiccup and giggled. "Nothing~"
Behind Tsuna, Chrome stood there shivering in fear while Mukuro looked like he hadn't seen something weird before.
"What did Tsuna do?"
"I-I only passed to him a glass of water." Chrome admit.
"Tsuna! Where's my white wine?!" Izumi widened as he found the cause of Tsuna's behavior.
"Wine!?" Nana was close to fainting.
"Ne mama~, look at tis!" Tsuna clumsily create small wisps of flames, but Daemon widened at the color of the flames. They were not the color of orange, but rather the color of tainted black, yet it was of crystal black, like the night sky.
"What the…" Nana ignored Daemon's shock and commanded.
"Where's Sakurai and Tsuyoshi?"
Takeshi stood there in confusion. "What do you need my parents for?"
Nana swiftly turned to Takeshi. "You do know how to use your flames right?" Takeshi was confused, but regardless, he nodded.
"I want you to use your rain flames to lower Tsuna's defense and make him fall asleep while cooling down his body with snow flames." Nana instructed, but Takeshi frowned at the use of it.
"Won't both the qualities clash against each other, Aunt Nana?"
"It won't, Takeshi-kun. In fact if you control them well, you will be able to create an effect." Takeshi couldn't really get what Nana had just explained, but regardless he put his flames into test.
The tranquilize rain and the bone-chilling snow ran down Takeshi's body beautifully and towards Tsuna. The twirls that the flames made had been seen like they were dancing to a slow melodious tune and Takeshi smiled at the entrancing flames. It enveloped Tsuna as he slowly went to sleep peacefully.
Takeshi was perspiring and breathing in air with such vigor that he looked like he had never had air for years. But needless to say Takeshi was happy, not to mention, excited.
What was he excited? When he could finally master his both of his flames that is!
"It's done, Aunt Nana!" Takeshi grinned. Nana smiled at the accomplishment.
"Thank you Takeshi-kun! Your parents are going to be so proud to have such a prodigious talent like you!"
"No." Takeshi replied. "I need to improve if I'm going to see them in a larger scale!"
Takeshi's resolve was so strong that Nana got shocked for a moment, only to snap out of it when she wished to be alone with the adults and persuaded Takeshi to go up to Tsuna's room and wait with Hayato while Tsuna would be with her.
"Nufufufu… Such childish faith." Nana turned to Daemon, and shook her head.
"That's not true, Daemon-san. Their childish faith and our faith are two different things. They can see what we can't see, and the children will succeed better than their successors." Nana softened her eyes as she studied every feature of her little Tsu-kun. "They made things so beautiful and pure that even I would be afraid to taint them with our world, Daemon-san. I wished that Tsu-kun would stay like this for a while longer."
"I… I'll join your Famiglia, Nana-chan."
"Eh?" Nana widened her eyes. "Why…?"
"Seeing all these children, Mukuro-kun and Chrome-chan may not be of any blood-relation to me, but I would treat them like my precious children that had been sent to me and Daemon." Elena replied.
Nana bit her lip. "But you don't have to….."
"Nufufufu….I'll support her." Daemon responded.
Nana moved herself where Tsuna was left on the couch and stood up. "Thank you, Daemon-san, Elena-chan. And sorry…" She bowed so low that the couple had to interfere.
"No worries, Nana-chan!" Elena chirped. "But do you know where the perfect area to shop is?"
Elena's eyes glint and Nana's face morphed a smirk. "Tsu-kun makes very, very interesting designs that even you will be dying to have them."
Daemon could only shiver at the females' ideas.
(Present)
Mikan sat on the comfortable office chair as she stared at the reports that have just been sent in. Tsuna decided to have Mikan do the job for the day since he had other matters to settle. (aka. Varia) But at the same time, Sawada Iemitsu would be coming to Japan along with the famous Bucking Horse Dino.
Nana and the other boss (in disguise of course) met him at that time and made an alliance to them, saying that it was more likely profitable since the Cavallone Famiglia is on the verge of bankruptcy.
Mezzo Cielo made a deal with them in the same way….. Well, handled by Mikan of course.
Ignazio laid down on the black sofa that lay in the vice president's office, with his hands behind his head as he took a nap.
"Ignazio."
"Hn." Ignazio made a response to Mikan's sentence.
"How long do you think this would take?"
"The paperwork or the situation?" Mikan sighed.
"The Varia case." Ignazio sat up, and gestured for Mikan to come to his side. Being puzzled, Mikan moved towards him.
"What do you- Kyaa!" Mikan screamed as Ignazio pushed her down to the sofa with him being the top. Their position was so compromising that Mikan blushed and struggled to wiggle out of his control. Ignazio smirked as he moved towards her ears.
"I love when you struggle within my grasp, Mikan." The hot heat that came out of his breath made it all the more heated in their compromised situation.
"Ig-Ignazio…" Mikan blushed harder as she struggled and when his knee touched her private areas.
"Makes me feel like eating you up." He licked her cheek with playful affection before moving down to her neck, playfully nibbling it. Mikan gasped in shock and embarrassment."We ca-can't do it he-here, Ig-Ignazio!"
But Ignazio's nature had deemed otherwise.
He sucked hard on her skin until it turned bluish-black, smirking at his creation.
"Mine." He went on to unbutton her shirt where he could only see her cleavage and did the same. "Mine."
Then down to her thigh where he gave a lick and produced another one. "Mine."
Mikan squirmed under the sexually aroused Ignazio. "Ignazio, st-stop giv-giving me th-those hickeys!"
Ignazio would have ignored Mikan if it wasn't for the person who entered the room and cleared her throat.
"Sa-Sakurai-san!" Ignazio clicked his tongue, annoyed that someone interrupted his fun. At that moment, Mikan struggled out of his grasp and ran towards Sakurai, hiding behind her and muttered 'pervert'. She adjusted her messy appearance, trying to keep the image of her perfect self into place.
Sakurai blankly smiled and pulled a Yamamoto. "What are you youngsters doing?"
"No-Nothing, Sakurai-san! Just a few misconceptions!" Sakurai brightly smiled at the sentence, teasing them for it. "Like what?"
Sakurai may be naïve, but she wasn't going to be brushed off as an idiot like her son and the relationship of Gokudera Hayato. They may have been the best buddies along with Tsuna, but their tendency to 'flirt' with each other was commendable. After all, the girls couldn't give chocolates to a 'lovable' couple and destroying their relationship. (In the background, she could hear Hayato retort on her sentences and Takeshi laughing at the irony. Hayato was with Haru after all, and she mused that they are the cute perfect old marriage couple who loved to argue with each other.)
"I-I…." Mikan stammered, frantically finding an excuse to the situation.
Ignazio ignored everything and went off to fix his tie. All in all, it was almost a win situation for him.
"Fuku-Kaichou, here's the report for Cake Day we had last week." Mikan blinked as she stared at the file with a blank look.
"He finished the report already?"
"Not to mention the latest designs and fashion updates for Mezzo Cielo." Sakurai smiled brightly. Mikan awkwardly smiled.
"How typical of him." Mikan turned to Ignazio. "Ignazio, get the information file from Nana-san. The boss has given us the newest information about the Vongola's candidate's guardians."
Ignazio didn't need to be told twice as he jumped off the window. Mikan muttered 'Just use the stupid door' while Sakurai lightly laughed.
Having a staring showdown with the most dangerous, not to mention powerful, hitman would have put anyone normal into insanity. But Tsuna wasn't normal in his own standards, but yet again, anyone he has by his side wasn't normal either.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, age 14. You are suppose to be weak in your studies and sports. Slowest even in your batch. Who are you?" Tsuna cutely tilted his head and pouted.
"Is that what that bastard told you about me?" Reborn didn't reply.
Tsuna finally lost his posture in front of Reborn and scowled. "Stupid bastard. He doesn't care about this family, isn't it?"
Reborn was irritated by the disrespect that Tsuna had shown towards his father, but he hadn't seen the man since he could talk. And not to mention, the twins know nothing about each other after 7 years of not even a photo or letter at sight.
Ienari wasn't the best sky that Reborn would ask for, but Tsuna had now been out of the option for having so much of work in his hands. A normal Student Council President wouldn't be managing the development of a young metropolis city and providing everything one could ever need for.
"Tsunayoshi…."
"Tsuna. Call me Tsuna. I don't wish people to call me by my full name." With the exception of some people of course. Tsuna completed the sentence in his mind.
"Tsuna, I would ask this: What made you hate your father so much?" Tsuna closed his eyes as he tried to cool down.
"He abandoned us entirely and took Ienari without caring for Kaa-san's feelings. Such men are scum to me. They treat their wives like they have never loved them at all. Such cold love is never suited to my mother. I'm glad that Kaa-san is leaving him for good."
"What do you mean?" Reborn pulled his fedora down.
"Kaa-san promised that by the time Mikan passes her 14th birthday, she would have no choice but to divorce him. She is left without a husband by her side and I am left without a father figure that could teach me what I need for my life!" Tsuna growled as he gritted his teeth. "All I have is this Academy city and Mikan along with Nonno Jii-chan. I can lose a physical father, but I could never lose Kaa-san's light."
Reborn kept silent as his face darkened. Iemitsu would be losing half of the family when he comes back, and he could never regain back whatever he's going to lose ever again. Few days ago when he ask Nana of what she thought of Iemitsu, there was no naïve innocence in her character, just emotionless to the person whom she had sex with.
"If you excuse me, I would need to meet someone now, so you should stay with Ienari instead with me. He needs you more than me." After all, you are his tutor and advisor. Tsuna internally smiled sadly. He could trust the Sun Arcobaleno with this part of the mission, and he probably wouldn't be seeing him after Nana's divorce. They are Notte Fantasma Famiglia for a reason, and if their personal family member's an enemy, they would be dealing with Famiglia matters, and not personal anymore.
Reborn left his room and wrote a mental note that he needed to send a letter to Nono and Iemitsu about the situation when Leon change into a phone and rang.
"Reborn-dono!"
"Basil, is there anything for you to call me?" The nerve racked voice was unnerving for Reborn, which probably something happen.
"The Varia's coming to Japan! Ienari-dono is in danger!" Reborn had worse situations to deal with for now.
One would say that darkness, the night, is an entity that represents evil.
Every one of Tsuna's Guardians was there in the round table, and all would disagree with that statement strongly. Darkness was never evil, but because of men's fear of the unknown, they considered darkness as something vile for they do not understand the aspect of the dark. After all, darkness would obscure the sight of an average being. The dark would blind those who couldn't see past the lies before them. Those who couldn't see would always feel vulnerable and the things that would make men vulnerable would always be evil, would be something terrible in the eyes of men.
But the night was different. It was part of the sky, another form of light when looked at a different perspective, and it should never be feared. Everyone experienced the same thing when they were together, and now they preferred the dark, the night, than the light, the bright daylight sky. That is why they were at ease in the dark room that prevents any light from touching them. They could still see each other, but they were called Phantoms; The Notte Fantasma for a reason.
The night was warm, their equivalent of a safety blanket that would protect them from danger. And they would in return protect the night.
Because the night was very precious to them, and their oldest friend. The night shields them of the cruelty that has been happening in the world, and they are left with that tiny sense of innocence that they could experience for now.
But it would now change. For the better or for the worse, they wouldn't know.
They wouldn't need to fear for the unknown. Because they were the unknown themselves, and the unknown has been so familiar with them for so, so long. The fear of the unknown is an illogical defense mechanism of men after all, and it was unnecessary as it always triggers progress.
Progress means evolution, and evolution means strength and power, and every being has the capacity to think, regardless of what species they are, and would always desire for more power.
Power is knowledge.
"Let's start the meeting." Tsuna's amber eyes turned a darker shade with a gentle touch of crimson, and everyone was prepared for his change in attitude.
"Like the tri-ni-sette members, the Varia's main members are made out of 7. Xanxus as you see in this picture," The digital files showed a particular man's face along with the scars he had obtained somewhere. "Is the sky boss. His scars came from the cradle accident that had him frozen in for 8 years.
The screen changed as 6 other different members appeared. And one of them they knew very well.
"Tsuna-sama, isn't that…" Hayato frowned.
"Hahaha… Tsuna….. You're kidding right?" Takeshi laughed nervously, hoping that it wasn't getting any worse.
Tsuna sighed. "No, it's not April fool's day and yes, that's the Mist Arcobaleno."
"Kufufufu~ this will be easy for Chrome herself to do this." He patted his half sister's head, in return Chrome blushed at the affection given to her.
"Mukuro-Onii-sama…"
"Hn." Even the cow herbivore could do this single handedly.
"Kyoya-nii… I don't know whether that is a compliment or an insult anymore…" Lambo sweat-dropped.
"Extreme! Anyone could do this!" Ryohei punched the air.
"Anyone who is like us, that is." Tsuna tapped onto one of the photos. "They are the abdomen of the seven deadly sins."
Mukuro whistled with impression. "After the seven deadly sins? Sounds like I forgot to visit Lucifer in his personal home."
"Mukuro-Onii-sama, please do not poke fun of those horrendous trips to the six paths of hell. You had your eyes to verify everything." Chrome pinched Mukuro's cheek, causing him to yelp in pain.
"Alright! Alright, Chrome! You win!" Chrome smiled as she released his ear, leaving him to tend to his ear.
"How on earth is a machine suppose to cover Gluttony in its own sense?"
"Don't ask, sword idiot. That machine serves no purpose other than its name Golosità." Takeshi frowned at the explanation.
"They are named after the seven deadly sins huh…"
Chrome spoke her mind. "If they are the seven deadly sins, we're the virtues then." Everyone thought about it and laughed.
Tsuna smiled at the joke but he had to turned the attention back into the main topic, and slammed the table with force. "Everyone, back to the topic." Everyone straightened up. "If anything goes like Ienari's candidateship, we will be fighting against our own attributes."
"Sounds like fun!" Takeshi laughed.
"Hn." Interesting but not amusing. Hibari looked away boringly.
"Mukuro-Onii-sama could do this all by himself." Chrome puffed up.
"Ma ma. What matters is that we should push the rings back to the candidate and not to us." Takeshi grinned.
"Tsuna-sama, what do you think?" Hayato stared at Tsuna, which then everyone turned to their leader. Tsuna gave a smirk.
"I'll say, let's do this." Tsuna's eyes narrowed with glee as the rest of them smiled at their leader.
No one, and they mean no one touches the next heir of Notte Fantasma.
"Reborn! Are you serious?! That man is coming just to eliminate Dame-Tsuna?!" Ienari laughed at the irony of a joke but stopped when Reborn wasn't going to say anything.
"You're seriously kidding me, right?" Reborn cocked up his gun and shot Ienari.
"I don't kid anyone, Baka-Nari."
Ienari growled at the sentence. "He's not even worth being a Vongola Don, let alone a candidate! I'm the one who's fit to do this job! He has no right to take it away from me!"
"And indeed I would agree with that, my son." A familiar blond came into the picture.
"Padre!" Ienari spoke with surprise.
"It's good to see you, my dear bambino." Iemitsu hugged his precious son. "How's everything in the family? How's Nana? I hope she is still the same woman I met when I first dated her….." Iemitsu continued rambling about his dear Nana.
"No wonder Tsuna hates you so much…" Reborn mumbled. Most people wouldn't hear such a small mumble, but Iemitsu wasn't the Young Lion of Vongola for nothing.
"What do you mean? My tuna-fish is…."
"A well-known healthy 14 year old-to-be who ruled the entire Namimori Academy City with an iron fist and a pure kind heart with a hint, or rather a strong hatred towards you." Reborn tilted his fedora.
"How is this possible?! Tsuna has been the weaker of the two, and he's worthless to the Vongola!"
"Is that so?" A familiar voice appeared, and his gravity defying hair proved his identity.
"Tuna-fish!" Iemitsu grinned and tried to hug Tsuna but Tsuna dodged his 'attack' swiftly.
"You haven't answered my question, Sawada Iemitsu." Tsuna's voice went dangerously lower. If his fan club hears this voice, they would fangirl over it, but anyone of his council members would prefer to remove themselves away from his presence.
"Tuna-fish….."
"Don't call me that! You are, and never my father." Tsuna scowled, and Iemitsu's eyes sharpened and darkened considerably.
Reborn cocked up his gun and point it at Tsuna. "Rule 1, you are to respect your elders at all times."
Tsuna's hatred when to the next level as there was real killer intent oozing out from him. "Why should I respect a stranger whom I would know about except for blood?"
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, you are to disrespect me or you would have consequences."
"Try me then, Sawada Iemitsu. I thought you would have done better as a person. Kaa-san wanted to give you a chance to redeem yourself for the past 14 years, and what have you done?" Tsuna's eyes shone a darker shade of amber. "You took Ienari with you just because you needed a heir for the company that you are working in, and I see no purpose of me and Kaa-san to be with you. Therefore, Kaa-san made a promise solely to me and me alone."
Tsuna took a file and smacked it on the table in front of him.
"Tsuna-"
"Don't interfere with this, Reborn-san. I may respect you as an individual, but even if you are Ienari's home tutor, you should never intercept on home affairs, especially when you already know what is to come." Reborn kept silent.
Iemitsu took up the file before snapping it shut and gritted his teeth. "I know Nana from the bottom of my heart, and she wouldn't do this! You forced her to sign this, didn't you?!"
Tsuna gave a smirk, and his eyes narrowed that unconsciously made Ienari to sit up straight. "Is that so? I always speak of the truth, and if you don't believe anything, prepare your heart for the worse then." His aura made Iemitsu feel like he is in front of an indestructible king, and Tsuna strode away with his dominatable presence.
Reborn mentally whistled at the cool impression that he gave onto his own father, and he would rather join up with Tsuna along with his crazy adventures.
"Who on earth is he…. He's not my Tuna-fish…." Reborn pulled down his fedora once more and rolled his eyes. He should know what the older brother needs in his life, and being fatherless isn't one of them.
"That's your problem, Baka-Iemitsu. Varia's endangering people by coming to Namimori and you're down here convincing yourself that he's not your son."
"Reborn! You don't know all about dad! He's one of the coolest fathers I have seen in the world and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else!" Ienari shouted at the infant tutor.
"Then what about your mother? Have you thought once about her?" Reborn tilted his fedora back up. "Tsunayoshi had longed for a complete family, and if he thinks there is another who could capture his mother's heart, he wouldn't mind supporting her relationship."
"Get your facts straight right if you are going to protect your family and Famiglia, Idioti." Reborn went off, leaving the two behind in Ienari's room.
Did anyone try reading AHT (A Hidden Tale) yet?
