Chapter 12
(Past)
Mikan sighed at the huge size of a school called Alice Academy. This would be the start of her journey to train on her own Alice, and hiding the fact that she could use all kinds of Alices.
But now…
"You can sit wherever you like," A blond named Narumi smiled as he led her and the unconscious boy who seemed to be the infamous black cat of Alice Academy she had read up about, Natsume Hyuuga. "I have to report to my superiors regarding your enrollment. Please wait here with him for a while!"
Mikan sat in a graceful position after Narumi left and took a breath of frustration. What was she here for again? Her clone may have met before an Alice Student called Imai Hotaru, But that personality is ridiculously ridiculous!
She stared at the black cat mask and brushed her hand on it gently. Memories with that mask made Mikan frowned and a few stray tears dropped out of her eyes. There were so much of painful memories that she had seen when he was wearing this mask, and she could understand that he wanted to escape as much as Mukuro wanted to escape from the Estraneo labs.
Being called a murderer, she could understand all these. The Cosa Nostra had been their own haven, and they could understand each other from their experiences.
"Natsume Hyuuga huh?" Before she could move away from him, she saw the slight movement of his hand (Not a very good pointer if he plans to make an attack on her) and pretended to have one of her pigtails grabbed by him.
Thrown to the sofa wasn't much of a big deal, but she could feel Nonno's lecture about keeping one's self-guarded at all times.
"Oi. Answer me in 5 seconds. If you don't I'll burn off your hair." If it wasn't for the naïve character and the unforeseen circumstance of the compromising position, she would have kicked him away in a blink of fury.
The sudden breaking of glass distracted them as another boy appeared.
"You're late, Ruka."
The blond gave a frustrated face. "Geez….. Whose fault do you think that is, Natsume? I shouldn't even be here to help you."
Mikan's flames were struggling to get out, enraged with the two boys as they continued their conversation.
The door banged open as Narumi along with another teacher whom she had talked to while on the way entered the room.
"Are you alright, Mikan?!" Mikan fake cried as she ran towards the two teachers. "Mr. Narumi! Mr. Misaki!"
"Natsume! Ruka!" Misaki shouted. The two boys were ready to get out of the room when they turned to her.
"See ya, Polka Dot Panties." Mikan paled at the underwear she had been wearing moments ago. She screamed that almost the nearby birds flew away.
"There, there. Please stop crying, Mikan." Narumi tried to comfort the brunette. "Getting your panties taken off is not that big of a deal!" Narumi tried to joke around, but Mikan was really serious about it.
"I can't get married anymore!" Mikan sobbed. "What will they say when I get back home!? I'm never going to find a man anymore!"
"Oh, don't worry! Then I'll ask Natsume to take responsibility!"
"No! I'll rather die than to have him as anyone important to me!" Narumi sweat-dropped, before pulling out a set of uniform out of nowhere.
"Mikan-chan, I have some good news for you."
Mikan sniffed as she tried to stop crying. Am I going to continue my mission?
"You're officially admitted to Alice Academy! And this is your uniform." Mikan cheered up instantaneously and they cheered together.
In her mind, she thought to herself that she was like Nana's open naïve, clueless façade, and it would never end well with these kinds of character.
"Now Mikan, you'll have a trial session during your week in Alice Academy." Mikan froze up. So it's still not easy entering this academy huh….
"But don't worry, it's easy! All you need to do is to be accepted as a friend by your classmates in class B. Then we will track your progress and decide your Alice level." Mikan internally frowned. I doubt it would actually be that easy….
"Excuse us. We're the two class representatives of Elementary Division, Class B. How may we help you?"
"Ah, they're here." Mikan's eyes widened.
Narumi smiled. "Mikan, they are your class representatives."
"Ho-Hotaru-chan?!" Mikan shouted and smiled widely. With her clumsy and less intelligent clone, Hotaru had been the smarter one and created different kinds of inventions that Mikan would have guaranteed would garner the Mafia's attention.
"Ugh….."
"I miss you so much!" Mikan ran happily crying to her when Hotaru's eyes gleamed for a second and took out a weapon and shot at her.
Baka. Baka. Baka.
In order to avoid those huge harmless bullets, Mikan stepped on her shoelaces and fell on the floor.
It was comical at best, but it was better than the Cavallone's tenth boss who tripped on his own feet. (And that is actually a complimentary insult.) Everyone sans Hotaru sweat-dropped at her not-so-accidental fall along with her fast recovery from biting her lips wanting to cry, to changing into a smile within mere seconds.
"Ah, I see! So Mikan's best friend is Imai Hotaru?" Narumi smiled at the scenario in front of him.
Mikan was running with snot on her face while Hotaru ran away from her. ("Don't come near me, nose-drip girl." Hotaru ran with a stoic face. "But Hotaru~")
"Are they really best friends?" Misaki asked.
"Hmm."
At that moment, Hotaru shoved away Mikan. "Don't come near me with your dirty face."
Mikan sniffed. "Hotaru….." Mikan decided to peek into her mind.
Why on earth is Mikan here? She should not be here, though.
"The Mikan I know was much prettier." Mikan reflected back into her clone's memories.
Mikan… Always keep smiling.
She stretched her face so that she could smile. "I wanted to see you so badly Hotaru, so I traveled all the way here." She paused for a moment and removed her hands from her face. "Hotaru… Can I hug you?"
"I guess there aren't really that many fools who come to this place just because they wanted to see a friend."
"Hotaru….."
"You surprised me…. Come here, Baka." Mikan smiled brightly as she jumped hugged her.
Sorry, Imai Hotaru. You may be best friends with my clone, but I'm using you as part for my mission.
Chrome and Kyoko could only blush as they were completely surrounded by all the females of the Notte Fantasma. It has been 3 years since Tsuna met his Storm/Comet, Rain/Snow and Lightning/Aurora; 2 years when he met Cloud/Wind, and twin Mists/Eclipses and now he finally completed his family with a Sun/Moon.
Sasagawa Ryohei was as bright as the sun could get, but also as peaceful as the moon could do.
On the other hand, Kyoko wasn't the sun like her smiles, but rather the cool, warm moon that Tsuna had felt more comfortable in.
Their parents were killed just a few months ago, and they all agreed to bring the two into their humble home since Tsuna and the younger children had been bonding together.
"Kyoko-chan, Onii-san, why not stay with Mama and I for a while?" Kyoko awkwardly wanted to refuse, but her brother had been bonded through the sessions of arguments, shouting and occasionally, the fights.
She nodded shyly, leading Nana to hug the brunette. "Don't worry, Kyoko-chan! It will be fun with Tsu-kun and everyone, and we wouldn't want you to stay in that empty house with no one to accompany you. And if you want to, we could bake something together."
10-year-old Kyoko could think about the possibilities of baking something extremely divine. She hadn't learned much about cooking yet, but the food she had seen in cake stores and cookbooks proved otherwise that she needed this skill, the skill that could warm everyone's hearts.
Her eyes were twinkling at the thought of baking as Nana smiled at the weak point of the young girl. She hadn't been smiling as much as her brother, but she was definitely a Moon to shine gently, and occasionally smile a little brighter to reach the earth.
Their Sun had been easy to obtain in their opinions, but they were not going to get heal mentally fast enough to hide their scars of their pasts.
Nana stared at the rest of the children. They were so broken in many different ways and even Lambo who doesn't know a single thing about his past except the fact he still has his mother was also broken by the main point of not having a father.
Heck, everyone who was in Notte Fantasma is are all broken by some way; Yuka, Izumi, and Mikan were a family, and they are not going to reunite any faster, she herself had been devoid of a husband and a father for Tsuna, the Hibari twins were threatened and burdened with the fights that they wanted to reunite, apparently Camellia was set up to be killed by looking like it was an accident, forcing Lambo's surname to be changed to Fulmine instead.
Sakurai had a disease that couldn't be healed and cost her to be immortal when she becomes a full grown teen and Tsuyoshi had been burdened with the sword techniques that maybe Takeshi wasn't going to get interested in along with no successors that could inherit them. Elena and Daemon aren't going to go off anytime and the fact that losing their first ever children through death weren't going to be a pleasant thought.
Nana felt the tugging on her skirt and looked down. Tsuna smiled with the ever pleasant smile on him.
"Don't worry Mama for the day will worry for itself. Each day has enough of its troubles." Nana felt a tugging smile and giggle at her son's words.
"Since when did you start reading the Bible?" Nana teased. Tsuna blushed at the revelation.
"It's interesting…" Tsuna mumbled.
Nana laughed as she ruffled his gravity-defying hair. Maybe…
Maybe she shouldn't really think too much after all…
In many words to say, Mikan made a disgusted face inwardly. She only wanted to get along with them and get along with it, but human nature had taught everyone that the first impression starts with only 3 seconds. And human nature had already told her that this class was disgustingly rowdy for a bunch of 10-12-year-olds.
"If you think that you are an Alice, then prove it to us! If you can't show to us proof, then you've practically admitted that you are not an Alice. Hurry up and get out of this Academy!" Mikan scowled quietly at the female who she had confirmed as Shoda Sumire. I could even kill ya' in this instance, ya' insolent brat.
Hotaru had even mentioned to her that from that instant where they stepped the classroom, they would be total strangers to each other, relief for Mikan but devastation to her clone who heard those words somewhere back in her body.
"Heh… So oji-chan was right…" Mikan suddenly straightened her back as she smiled. Hotaru couldn't help but to inwardly shudder at the calm attitude that Mikan suddenly possessed. It was rare that this personality would appear, but it had appeared that these classmates had drawn the last straw that she had practically snapped.
Not that she had experienced it herself before, but she had been defended with this personality when she first came into that little village school.
That perfect Yamato Nadeshiko attitude, that smile; everything had boiled down to that traditional yet stern aura that had been had to suppress.
"I don't think that Alices are better than others. If there's anything you naïve children have more than others, I think it would be your impudent personalities. It amazes me daily how grandfather was right about everyone these days."
"Wha-What did you say!?"
"You…. You better shut your mouth!"
Mikan could only smirk. "Ah….. I probably think that the only thing you would ever be proud of would only be your Alices, and you're all will just be a mindless soul. Am I right to say that?"
One of them decided to go physical and tried to punch the brunette, but Mikan dodged with such gracefulness that Hotaru who had known Mikan for long would never associate 'Mikan' and 'graceful', unless there is the words 'is not' in between. Mikan gave a reinsured smile to Hotaru, probably worried about her.
"Goodness gracious me! Grandfather had always taught that one should never extort to violence no matter what. What has this school been teaching you?" Mikan continued dodging when she found openings so easy for her to defend herself. She flipped one of them, making one of them drop onto the floor with a groan.
"Na-Natsume-sama! Ruka-sama! Do something about her!" Sumire whined as the two boys were sitting down with nonchalance.
"Yo, polka-dots," Natsume called. Mikan narrowed her eyes in distaste. He should really get a much preferable hobby to entertain himself.
"I heard that you can't enroll if you don't get along with the people in this class within the week." Mikan widened her eyes. How…?! She could feel someone creeping up on her mind and turned to the source of her disturbance.
So they have a mind reader in this class?
"I'll give you another chance. If you can get through the Northern Woods to the High School Division, and leave a footprint there, then I'll accept you as an Alice, and let you stay here."
"But Natsume! Those woods are off limits even to Alice students!" The male representative defended her which surprised her for a moment. Maybe there are still some who are still acceptable by my standards.
"I didn't say she had to. If she doesn't want to, then she could just leave."
"But….."
Mikan closed her eyes and sighed. The Northern Woods that he had mentioned probably wouldn't be that dangerous, and she had suffered more under the Death Mountains of the World that Nonno had brought her to.
"Are you going to do it?"
"Yes."
"Since you're new here, I'll let you have a friend who can guide you." Mikan shook her head.
"No." Mikan looked away, not wanting to meet anyone's eyes. "I prefer to go alone if this is going to endanger anyone."
Natsume stared at those hazel eyes which had screamed of pain and suffering along with wisdom that no child should be getting at this age.
By then when she finally reached the Woods with the help of Tobita Yuu, the representative who defended her, she had been reassured that it wasn't that bad after all.
"Ano… Sakura-san… Good luck."
Mikan smiled gently at the shy, gentle boy. "Thank you, Innchou."
Walking through the woods would be easy, but Murphy's Law always proves everyone right one way or another.
And the first she had to encounter would be a bear; A teddy bear to be exact.
(Present)
A scowl bore onto Tsuna as he strode across the Namimori Academy hallways. Anyone who saw him couldn't help but make way for their president (even for his fan club who loved the very core of his anger). It was rare that their Kaichou would be in such bad mood, and he was benevolent that if a person could make him upset, that person would face the wrath of the entire Namimori Academy City.
Mikan narrowed her eyes in fury; she had other plans to make. She was his tutor and soul-mate in flames, but right now…
With the bucket of water that appeared out of nowhere, she took the pail and tipped it over Tsuna.
"What the….!?" Tsuna's amber eyes glared at the culprit, but Mikan wasn't a Sakura or a Yukihira for nothing.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, you are to follow me and explain or I'll terminate that without fail." Tsuna growled, but followed the brunette none other less.
As soon as the door of the Vice-president's office closed, Mikan burst in a spurt of Night Flames. "What. On. Earth. Are. You. Thinking. Sawada Tsunayoshi."
It wasn't a question, but a statement. Tsuna's eyes turned slightly crimson.
"Mikan, you know very well what had conspired on that incident. He doesn't even make an effort to even get to know Kaa-san, much less on his blood relative."
Her flames slowly tried to die down. "But that does not mean that you could go off everywhere with that scowl of yours," Mikan shouted. "You're the charismatic president who protected and boosted the economy of little Namimori into what it is today."
"I know Mikan! But you're the one who's going to manage the all grand famous Mezzo Cielo! I'm just managing the area here."
"But Notte Fantasma is yours, to begin with!"
"It's ours! Not mine! Notte Fantasma has two bosses that the world has to deal with!" Tsuna's flames suddenly burst out from his body, with a mixture of sky and night flames burned furiously in their wild dance of life and death.
"Tsuna," Mikan's eyes turned crimson for a moment before it dispersed along with her flames. "Aunt Nana knows what she's doing. And you need to trust her that she could handle the situation on her own. That man may mean nothing to you now, but Nana-san once had feelings for him, bastard or not."
"I know Mikan…. But I just couldn't forgive the fact that he would just jump in back like he had done nothing wrong. He should have apologized or do something that strengthens the relationship, but jumping into our lives back and pretended nothing's wrong again? I don't see a point having a father figure." Tsuna's flames slowly dispersed, and his crimson eyes reverted back to his amber ones. For once, it flickered to hazel brown, almost like Mikan's eyes.
"Tsuna?" Tsuna rubbed his head as a headache was slowly forming.
"I might have used too much of reserves." Mikan frowned.
"That's rare. You rarely run out of them."
"I could be stressed with the current mission we're having."
"Your team would have to go through this no matter what, and Nana-san is also undergoing this mission due to the relations."
"Kaa-san should never approve to this in the first place."
"We all know that very well. Nana shouldn't have made that mistake, but that mistake caused her to love you very much, Tsuna. If it wasn't for that situation, you wouldn't have been born. And as for me…" Mikan shivered at the abnormity that it could have caused.
Tsuna slightly smiled at the expression Mikan made. Managing whatever had appeared would be insane, and neither of them would want to handle that much of work. Maybe having two bosses in Notte Fantasma wasn't that bad of an idea anymore.
"Hurry up and get change Tsuna, it's the day everyone's been waiting for after all." Tsuna groaned at the date as he stared at the calendar.
"The accursed Valentine's Day….."
Tsuna stood gloriously in his Student Council President uniform along with his ever benevolent smile on stage, and along with his other members of the council who sat on their respective positions. Tsuna tried not to narrow his eyes in disgust as he saw a familiar blond sitting on one of the seats along with Ienari beside him.
Reborn was nowhere to be found, but Tsuna couldn't care less where the hitman went. So long as he had done up his business with his twin, he wouldn't find the tutor a hassle. Nana sat somewhere nearer to the VIP seats, making Tsuna much comfortable.
Tsuna started with his latest heartfelt speech, touching the heart's cores of the guests and everyone in Namimori City. Mikan was smiled at her soul-mate as he created his motivative speech. After this month, the election for the new president would be coming up and the change of presidents would usually be the switch between the top students in Class Z. But so far, only Mikan and Tsuna had been elected the president and the vice-president, alternating their positions every year that everyone finds it common to have one of them to be their leaders of the entire city.
The positions would always be chosen by the president himself, and their work is so tedious that no one would actually find it possible to complete whatever is in the office, let alone the paperwork room.
Some even said that the youngest members, Lambo and Fantina, are going to be their successors since their jobs were simple enough to stay in the Student Council, but Tsuna and Mikan shrugged off any of those claims. Both leaders were charismatic in their own ways, but the two youngest members may not be able to take the mantle of the heavy duties.
Tsuna finished his speech with a word of caution to the students about being graceful and their behavior that may affect the school. Everyone gave a standing ovation to his speech, and this time, the announcer called out Mikan for a speech. Mikan stood up and strode gracefully towards the microphone.
"Good morning to our esteem guests, staff of the school, and students of our humble Namimori Academy. It has been an honor for me to stand here for today. Even with the upcoming event of [The Elections], I hope you will be able to enjoy our little event in this little city. To our dear sponsors who have helped us for today, I thank you for your generosity in making our event today a success. And students who had been participating in this event, I will humble thank for you all for the hard work that you all had put together. Now, let the event begin!" Mikan smiled as she went back to her place, where all were standing and together, walked out of the stage.
"Good job, Mi-chi." Genevra hugged her tightly as Mikan gave a small smile.
"Thank you, Gene. Now…" Mikan clapped her hands together. "We need to get back into the Student Council Building to avoid them."
Everyone darkened their expressions, knowing what was going to come next. Their fan clubs would never let them go anytime soon if they were somewhere elsewhere around the school, and Tsuna just received a message that before any of the Varia comes; Bucking Horse Dino would be coming to town to see the newest up-and-coming Decimo.
And Reborn just happen to pass the message to him that there's a main event in Namimori city, and maybe…
Mikan didn't want to think of that line.
"Ignazio."
The raven nonchalantly asked. "What?"
"You might want to pick up the Cavallone before you enter."
"He could die for all he wants. All I want is you for Valentines." Ignazio smirked. Mikan turned away with a small blush.
Mikan muttered softly but still audible for Ignazio to hear. "Guess Ignazio doesn't want his Valentine's Day present anymore…."
Ignazio widened his eyes as Mikan walked away with her bangs covering her eyes, and the blush on her cheeks made Ignazio's junior twitched in excitement.
He would better start finding that horse, or he would never get to have his present on time.
Meanwhile, Mukuro and Chrome decided to disappear from the group and Genevra decided to join them since they would rather be with family than to stay in the school with rapid fans. Family is always better than anyone outside of the family except for the members of the Notte Fantasma. They will always be the perfect family who found them in the first place.
Ryohei will be going to train in his personal gym while Takeshi will be in his dojo along with Tsuyoshi, having his sparring match there since the dojo at home was more of training than the hardcore style with real swords. If any of the injuries happens, they could just call Ryohei to help them to heal or maybe Hana if their injuries went a little overboard.
Teresa and Kyoya would prefer to stay in their grand underground battle room, where anything that seems easy to destroy is actually several times harder to even crack them. But it could never be said by the Wind and the Cloud. They are usually the most volatile guardians of them all.
The sports brothers would be in another town after this meeting. Fantina and Lambo were much more lucky since they were not fully targeted, and they would get to eat as many sweets as they can. They were the best partners when it comes to these matters.
Hayato had to rush to the nearest plane for his next archery tournament in Singapore since it was an international event that he could and never would miss.
Tsuna walked into his office, where Kyoko sat gracefully on the black sofa, leaving Tsuna to close his door and lick his lips in delight. Ryohei may never approve to this, but Kyoko had been willing on her side.
Her lips were lusciously red as she bit them nervously. Her blush had been perfect on her cheeks, not too dark or too light; she fidgeted as she waited on the brunet, making Tsuna anticipate on his girlfriend's little reactions.
Tsuna smirked as he walked towards his office chair while Kyoko stood up. Kyoko made herself comfortable on Tsuna's lap.
"Ne Tsu-kun…"
"It's alright. I won't go overboard unless we're married. I want you to be with your true one and experience your first in the best ways possible."
Kyoko giggled. "That's not what I mean, Tsu-kun. But that kept me assured this Valentine's Day. I won't mind waiting on for a few more years if it makes waiting worthwhile."
Tsuna took off the ribbon and unbuttoned the first two of her shirt, and Kyoko blushed at the sudden exposed of her cleavage. Tsuna made a marking on her shoulder when the door exploded over. Tsuna didn't wish to stop touching on his Kyoko, but it pissed him off well enough that no one, meaning no one, is supposed to enter without his permission.
"Where's Sawada Ienari?" Tsuna stared at the perfect marking before putting Kyoko down gently and gave the most menacing glare for interrupting his love sessions.
"And what is so important enough that you are willing to kill my door and do SOMETHING STUPID IN YOUR LIFE?!" Tsuna growled furiously, making the group step down a few steps.
"Sawada Ienari is…"
"Ciaossu!" Reborn decided to appear at that time and moment.
"Reborn-san/sama." The group bowed politely at the hitman tutor.
Tsuna snared. "Who on earth are they, Reborn? I want them out of my office in this instance! I-" He was interrupted by a kiss on the mouth, which cooled him down seeing who was kissing him.
"Kyoko…"
"Tsu-kun, remember. You're the esteemed Kaichou of the school who's my scattered brain lover and a lover of Eden's triple berry black forest cake." Tsuna pouted at the comment.
"That's not nice, Kyoko."
"But you are my scattered brain lover after all!" Kyoko brightly smiled.
One of them from the group had to fake a cough to interrupt the loving atmosphere. Tsuna ignored the cough and turned back to his destructive guests.
"It's definitely rude if you smashed the door into smittens and not introduce yourselves gentlemen." Tsuna smiled. "And it would be definitely rude if do not have any manners for yourselves. What kind of interaction does my brother do to garner such friends, Reborn-san?"
Reborn smirked under his fedora. "These are his guardians, Tsunayoshi."
"Guardians? And I thought Nari was part of a corporation that that man is working for."
"We're Ienari's friends." One of them spoke.
"And you are…?"
"Abellio Lucca at your service," A blond playfully bowed in front of the couple. "And these are my sister Lucia, and our friends, Cain and Abel De Caprio which we have known them as twins."
Tsuna sighed. He should have known better where his brother's Guardians came from. "Try to find Ienari somewhere along the school. The Student Council members are not allowed to step out of the building, let alone to allow anyone from coming in and you people decided to break the rules. Reborn-san, I may need to pass the damages to the company so in the meantime, I'll pass it to you for the boss. These doors are expensive!"
Reborn noted the exasperated tone that Tsuna gave, seeing that everyone at the top of the food chain has problems with paperwork. Reborn nodded regardless.
Tsuna and Kyoko went off to the room where all the gifts were given and Tsuna sweat-dropped at the amount he received. One of which was a crystal statue crafted with the greatest hands on earth and another was a set of couple accessories that Tsuna and Kyoko wouldn't need anytime soon. (Gosh….. They are just only 14 for a reason!)
Some were more than gifts that made Kyoko blushed at the S and M set that one of them decided to give. It's Valentine's, not some random sex making day!
The couple decided to close the door before they see something that is definitely out of their list. (The S and M set is definitely one of them!)
"Ne, Kyoko-chan." Tsuna couldn't find any words to describe the gifts anymore.
"I know, Tsu-kun." Kyoko was from the same standpoint as him as she first stared at the gifts.
Valentine's Day gifts have been getting weirder each time the event comes.
"We might need to bar anyone from giving anything to the Student Council next year."
"And we are not sex-driven teenagers with raging hormones too, Tsu-kun."
"Let's just hope the others wouldn't have the same experiences too."
"Agreeable."
Mini Omake
Everyone sans Tsuna and Kyoko along with the youngest members was in the presents' room when they saw the weirdest things ever. Even Kyoya wasn't able to escape from seeing since he also has a fan club on his own.
Hayato almost dropped his precious, prized archery while Takeshi choked on his tea. Chrome stoned and Mukuro covered her eyes to protect her chastity while closing his eyes. Ryohei almost fainted and the rest of the members weren't doing too well on their part as well.
Mikan fainted and Ignazio had to bring her back home, Genevra was on the verge of vomiting whatever she ate for the day, and brothers were ready to escape to another part of the world to kill off something.
Or destroy.
Or whatever fits in that category.
Kyoya growled literally as Teresa took a step back by reflex and paled.
"W-We sho-should ba-ban su-such e-events." Hayato choked as he stuttered. (In fact, only on Valentine's Day, would he break out of his usual cool character.)
"Ban o-on giving t-the Stu-Student Council in-instead." Genevra's face was colored green and she couldn't handle anymore as she ran off to her office, or maybe the toilet. Where ever it is preferred.
"Or we can ask Shoichi to invent a memory-erasing device for our sake." Nicola who had been cold for most of his life shivered at the memory.
"Agreeable." Everyone agreed to it, preferring not to see such…. Gifts for their lives again.
Yet again, Murphy's Law proves them wrong anyway.
If you're gonna ask me why is it late this time, blame it on major examinations.
Thank God I had this in reserve.
