Work Hard, Party Harder
"Go! Shoo! Be off with you two!" Yang rambled as she pushed Weiss and Blake out of their dorm room and into the hall. "Have a fun time shopping and don't forget to get some strawberries!" With that, the blonde closed the door, leaving her two team mates blinking at each other before shrugging it off and heading into town for groceries.

"I just know they're doing something bad." Weiss grumbled as she walked beside the taller woman. "They always do something bad when we leave them alone. They're like...like..."
"Over grown puppies but with thumbs and the ability to catch things on fire?"
"Exactly! And we're the idiots that keep leaving them alone in the house for them to do such!" Weiss huffed as she threw her arms into the air. "I swear, if we come home and it's a mess, I'll use Yang's hair as a mop and Ruby's cloak as a rag!"
Blake chuckled as she patted her friend on the shoulder. "There, there. No need to blow a fuse on something they haven't done yet. I'm sure those two are behaving like the responsible adults we know they can be."
"...That's a load of shit and you know it." Weiss snapped, her tone holding no malice in it but a playful edge.
"I know." Blake laughed as she opened the door to the small convenience store and allowed her friend to enter first. "But it doesn't hurt to dream. You, as well as the sisters, have taught me that."
Weiss smiled as she listened to Blake. It was true, they had been getting along much better now, to the point that they were joking and calling each other friends, not just team mates. "Yes, I must say that while being around the lot of you is still tough and taxing, it is well worth the effort and I know that I have true, honest friends."
"You're such a softie, Weiss." Blake teased as she grabbed a carry basket and began to go over the list of items they needed. "If only I could get Yang to write neater."
"I'm surprised she can even hold a pencil, really. Those hands are quite big for a girl's and with her semblance being fire, well, I'd hate to be in the room in she's having trouble with a problem." Weiss stated as she placed a box of pancake mix into their basket. "Though, Ruby writes much neater, she isn't the best of spellers."
"True, she does have a tendency to mix her letters up." Blake hummed as she added to their collected items. "But, she has shown improvement since we began tutoring her."
Weiss rolled her eyes at the thought. "That girl, I swear she has far too much energy for her own good. Her and her sister both. I can hardly keep her on task and then she won't work until she has her cup of coffee! She does not need any coffee."
"Which brings us to the list." Blake smirked as she pointed out an item to her shorter friend. "Look at what Ruby requested."
Weiss peered at the item and nearly chocked. "Request denied! That demon does not need any energy drinks! I don't even want to buy her damn coffee, let alone that rubbish!"
Blake chuckled as she and Weiss made their way to the chilled section of the store. They spoke of many things, like the weather and how the other was doing in classes. The two friends were surprised that they had so much in common, like books they had read and their thoughts on political topics.
As they were making their way toward the cashier, Blake spotted a six pack of cheap energy drinks and smiled. Ruby had been working hard, so a small treat wouldn't hurt...right?

"What in the world is that awful noise?" Weiss shouted to her friend, covering her ears as they made their way to their shared room. "I can barely think!"
"It sounds like music to me." Blake winced, her hearing more acute then the ivory-haired woman, so her ears ached all the more.
"If you can call this music! It sounds like someone screaming as they're being beaten to death!"
"Well, I wish the assailant would either hit the person in the jaw or just knock him out already!" Blake shouted back as Weiss opened the door to see...
Yang and Ruby, jumping and bouncing around the spotless room in nothing but...
...Blake's white, button up shirts (Too small for Yang's chest and too big on poor Ruby), boxers (how or why they had them she would never know) and some white socks. It appeared that they had yet to notice them, for they were too busy swinging their bodies around and whipping their hair in the air in a wild manner.
"Loud, isn't it?"
Blake and Weiss turned to see Velvet, orange socks covering her rabbit ears, standing against the wall with a smile on her face.
"What is going on?!" Weiss asked the fauna as she pointed to the still dancing fools in the middle of the room.
"And why are they in my clothes?!" Blake asked with a bit of a hiss in her voice. "And are those Yang's socks?"
"Hold on." Velvet giggled as she turned off the stereo, making the two sisters stop their dancing and look around the room. Yang and Ruby spotted the gawking teens at the same time, making Yang burst out laughing and Ruby disappearing into cloud of petals, clearly embarrassed about being caught. "Weiss and Blake are back."
"I see!" Yang smirked as she wiped the thin layer of sweat from her brow. "Wanna join our dance party?"
"Is that what this is?!" Weiss snarled as she stormed into the room, followed by Blake, who just shook her head in disbelief. "I told you they were going to do something stupid!"
"Why are you and Ruby in my shirts? And why is Velvet wearing your socks on her ears?" Blake asked, trying not to stare at the straining buttons across Yang's chest.
"Oh! Well, you see~~~"
~* Flashback*~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Awesome! They're gone and we have the whole place to ourselves!" Yang chuckled evilly as she rubbed her hands together. "Now, what shall we do while they're gone?"
"Uhh, clean the place? It's a tad messy." Ruby suggested as she looked around the room.
Yang rubbed her chin and gave out a long 'hmm', before her eyes lit up and a wicked grin made its way to her face. "I got it! How about we play a game? The one who cleans up the most, fastest, wins!"
"Yeah!" Ruby smiled as she bounced up and down. "Let's play that!"
"On your mark," Yang smirked as she watched Ruby spread her legs a bit and sink closer to the ground. "Get set...GO!" And with a flash of petals, Ruby was running around the room while Yang just stood there and watched as items disappeared from sight in a flash just to appear were it belonged a second later. It always amazed the older sibling how fast Ruby could go as well as her ability to still be so aware of her surroundings.
Then in a minute or two, the place was spotless with a panting Ruby in the middle of it. "I...win!" The girl smiled as she threw her arms in the air in victory.
Yang, trying her best to keep her poker face on, snapped her fingers and tapped the ground with her big toe. "Shoot! I thought I had a chance this time too." Her baby sister was just too easy sometimes.
"Now what?" Ruby asked, regaining her breath and former boredom.
Yang tapped her chin before her eyes landed on Ruby's headphones, the perfect idea forming. "When's the last time we had a dance party?"
"...I dunno...like...months ago." Ruby smiled at the thought. "We broke all those fancy vases in the china shop, too! Boy, were they mad!"
"How about we have one now? We got the place to ourselves and we're both bored."
"YEAH! Dance party!" Ruby whooped as she bounced up and down. She couldn't dance, not like Yang could, but she still had lots of fun, especially when her and her sister just started to goof off.
"And! I know who to make this party special!" Yang trotted over to Blake's closet and pulled out two white button downs. She threw one to Ruby before she began to remove her clothes.
"Wha-wait! What are you doing?!" Ruby squeaked. "You can't just put on Blake's shirt like that!"
"Relax! We're dating, so we get to share stuff." Yang smiled, just barely holding back the fact that they have shared more...important things than just clothes. "Now strip and put that on, then go get us some of our comfy boxers."
Ruby sighed, looking at the overly large shirt. Blake liked wearing that pretty dress as sleeping wear, but she also liked wearing these type of shirts to lounge around in. The younger girl laid the garment on Weiss' bed before she began to undress and do as she was told.
After buttoning up the shirt, she went to Yang's set of drawers and removed two pairs of boxers (Yang having several pair for 'screw it days') and threw one to her sister. "I still don't understand why we're doing this."
Yang, who was busy looking through Weiss' sock drawers, glanced at her sibling and squealed. "Look at you! You're so tiny!"After grabbing two pairs of socks, she rushed over to her sister and enveloped her in a hug. "You look like you a puppy playing in a pile of blankets!"
"Yaaaaang! Cut it ouuut!" Ruby whined as she struggled to get free. "Let's just dance already! Before they come back and we get in trouble!"
"Oh yeah!" Yang smiled as she handed Ruby a pair of socks and turned on the music, blasting it through Weiss' stereo speakers. She then turned to grab Ruby by the wrist and pulled her into the next room.
Yang smirked as she slide into the room as the music began to play, followed shortly by Ruby. They stayed still until a voice began to sing, and they began to move.
~ End of Flashback~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"And then Velvet came knocking, saying the music was too loud so we invited her to play with us and gave her some ear plugs!" Yang smiled as she finished telling her story to her slack jawed audience.
"...Are you kidding me?" Weiss sighed, holding her head in her hands before she glanced back up at the smiling teen. "You took our things just so you can dance around like some fool?!"
Blake raised her hand, gathering everyone's attention. "Question, why were you two having a dance party in a china shop?"
"...that is a good question..." Weiss mumbled as she tapped her chin in thought.
"Oh! Well, Dad wanted to go buy this fancy vase for some reason and Ruby and I were forced to tag along. We were bored out of our minds and that's when I noticed Ruby's headphones hanging around her neck! Needless to say, we broke a lot of stuff and had to pay for it all."
"Dad was maaaaad." Ruby whispered through the small opening of the bathroom door.
"Ah! There you are! I wondered when you would come out of there!" Velvet giggled as she watched Ruby slowly come out of the bathroom, her face a deep crimson. "Still feel naked without any pants on?"
"Yes." The shy girl mumbled as she tried to avoid everyone's gaze.
"You look cute, Ruby." Blake chuckled as she gave the staring heiress a small nudge. "Don't you think so?"
Weiss, caught off guard by the question and physical contact, only sputtered and crossed her arms, the bright blush on her cheeks speaking volumes to all who cared to read between the lines.
"Anyway! Let's put up the goods and then we can all dance!" Yang smiled as she began grabbing the bags her two friends had dropped on the floor due to shock.
"Absolutely not!" Weiss huffed as she made her way to her bed, removing her shoes and earrings.
Yang grinned as she reentered the room, bent over, and began to wiggle her hips. "You just don't want to compete with this!"
Blake busted into fits of laughter, her form shaking and eyes watering. Weiss, on the other hand, was so mortified that she acted purely on instinct. She grabbed her pillow, took aim, and threw it at the back of Yang's head, causing the taller woman to lose her balance and fall over, ass in the air.
"If I ever see either of you dancing again, it will not be a pillow I throw a you." Weiss warned, venom clearly laced each word.
"What?! We can't dance and we can't have mocha?" Ruby whined as she waved her arms around like a small bird trying to take flight. "That's no fair!"
Blake, after finally calming down from her laughing fit, walked over to Ruby to pat her on the head like a small child before helping Yang to her feet. "I'm sure you could barter for your right to one or the other, Ruby." She then gave Yang a small peck on the cheek and smiled. "However, I think the party is over for now."
"Well, you know what they say..." Yang grinned as she grabbed Ruby into a headlock and began to give her a noogie. "Work hard, party harder! And since we just had a party, you have to get back to work!"
Ruby's eyes widened as she listened to her sister, the words sinking in like lead. She tried desperately to escape now, not wanting to do anything close to studying. "YAAAAAANG! Noooooooo!"
As Yang laughed at her sister's struggles and whines, a loud gasp was heard coming from the kitchen. Weiss stormed into the room, holding the cans of energy drinks. "You!" She pointed a sharp nail toward the smirking cat, "You...you fiendish woman! Do you know what you have just done!?"
"Oh, cool!" Ruby cheered as she finally freed herself from her sighing older sister. "Thanks, Blake! Nora told me I should try these!"
"You're welcome, Ruby. Consider them a reward for working so hard." Blake smiled as she then leaned over to Yang to whisper in her ear. "She's your problem if she gets hyper. Consider this a punishment for not asking to burrow my things."
Yang groaned as she covered her eyes, trying to make everything go away. "You really are a fiendish woman."
