Painting the Town Red

"Ruby, I don't think we should be doing this." Weiss said as she glanced down to the street below her. She was talking about hanging from a building, painting it with some design Ruby was paid to do. Not only was the height unnerving, but the gas masks they were wearing made things feel a bit more...drastic. "I didn't have this in mind when you said you were taking me out on a date."

"Cool, huh?" Ruby glanced back over to Weiss, who was huffing as she held onto the support ropes.

Weiss shook her head with a sigh. This was some date, really. These large, heavy masks covered their entire face which made her skin clammy, the height was something she wasn't fond of, and she sucked at art, so she couldn't help Ruby spray paint the image even if she wanted to move her hands from the ropes to do so...needless to say...the reward in the end will be well worth it...

~ Earlier that Day~

"What do you mean you don't want to? It'll be an awesome date and I get to earn some money!"

"You must be joking!" Weiss scoffed as she crossed her arms and tilted her head upwards, giving off an impressive posture.

"But, Weiss~! It'll be fun!" Ruby pleaded, though she knew Weiss couldn't see because she had her eyes closed.

"Fun for who, exactly?" Weiss would have glared at the younger, but she found herself weak against those damn puppy eyes and the only way to protect herself was to avoid looking. Of course, that didn't always work, since the other girl would go silent and wait for Weiss to lower her guard and open her eyes to see if she had left.

"Uhmmm...the both of us?" Ruby nervously chuckled as she rubbed her cheek in thought.

"Tell you what, I'll play along with this little 'date' you have set up only on one condition..."

"That is?"

"You let me see your legs."

"M-m-my what?" Ruby asked, her eyes wide with surprise. Out of all things she thought Weiss would ask for, it was to see her legs?

"You never let anyone see them, and I'm tried of Yang teasing me about how good they look." Weiss sighed as she tapped her index finger against her own arm. It was an unknown fact that the heiress had a thing for legs, rather they were long and slender and so smooth to the touch or strong and built, muscled and rippling like that of a horse.

Ruby turned away from her for a few moments, and Weiss had thought that she had really messed up on this one, that maybe Ruby had taken it as a sexual advance; though the teenage girl was feeling her hormones kicking in from time to time, but that was not what she had intended at all with her request. "Ruby-"

"All...alright...I guess." Ruby sighed, her cheeks ablaze.

~ Current situation~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yes...this daring adventure date would be well worth it.

"Can you pass me that can of red paint?" Ruby asked, tapping Weiss' shoulder and effectively drawing her out of her day dream.

"Fine. "The white-haired girl huffed as she leaned over a little bit to grab the can of paint out of the small bucket that hung in front of her. "So, care to tell me we you don't let others see your legs or am I to guess?"

Ruby bit her lip, holding the can tightly in her hand before she let loose a shaky breath and turned to look at her girlfriend. "Promise not to judge or anything?"

Raising a shapely eyebrow at the younger, Weiss sighed and crossed her arms. "I'm dating you, aren't I? But yes, I promise not to judge."

"I...I have a really bad scar on my left thigh...like...really bad." Ruby whispered, her voice shaking and nervous. "It's...it's kinda personal, and it's still really sensitive some days so..."

Weiss listened to the younger, felt her heart throb and go out to her. Maybe they had more in common then she thought. Though the statement did bring a question to mind...

Did Ruby find scars hideous? Or was it just her own? "Ruby-"

"It's not pretty, like yours. It's deep and jagged and large. It doesn't...it just doesn't look good." Ruby sighed, her form shaking with emotion, though she'd blame it on the wind if Weiss tried to question it. "Can we...just drop it for now?"

"Yes...yes of course." Weiss nodded as she glanced up to inspect the work Ruby had done. The piece was of a beautiful angel, her arms open wide and her wings a glowing form of light. Hair weaving through clouds like a rich, golden brown silk. "What building are we painting on again?"

"A funeral home."

"WHAT?! You take me on a date to paint the side of a funeral home?!" Weiss shrieked, causing people from down below to glance up at the two specks hanging from the side of the building.

"It was better then the first job!" Ruby whined as she fought back, not really seeing the problem Weiss had with this.

"And that was?"

"Painting the viewing room."

~ Back at the Dorms~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The job turned out beautifully and the owner of the funeral home was so happy with it, he paid Ruby an extra twenty lien for doing it, which the girl used to take herself and Weiss out to eat. Of course, this wasn't just a kind gesture and the girl wasn't just hungry, she was also buying time. Of course, with Weiss egging her forward and to eat faster for once, there wasn't much time to buy.

So here she was, hiding in the bathroom in her workout gear, which was nothing but a loose hanging tee that was cut to expose her midriff and a pair of red shorty shorts. Maybe it wasn't too late to back out of this.

"Are you coming out anytime today?" Weiss huffed from the other side of the door.

Well, maybe not. Really, this was ridiculous! These...these scars shouldn't be holding her back like this! It's been the years! She should be...should be...over it, by now...right? Sucking in a big gulp of air, Ruby puffed out her chest and reached for the door handle.

Weiss stood there, in the middle of their dorm, with her arms crossed as she waited for Ruby to just walk out of the bathroom. All she wanted was a peek out those-!

Those...those...damn them legs...

They were rippling with muscles, flexing and relaxing under pale flesh. They were long and appeared to be smooth to touch. Then her eyes landed on those scars, those three slashes that were so deep, they looked like jagged trenches. They started from her high, inner thigh and curved to just above her knee. The skin was even paler, like that was a ghost, and was even transparent in some spots.

Whatever caused those scars was strong and had every intention to kill her.

But DAMN those legs!

"We-Weiss? Are...are you okay? You're...you're drooling."

"Huh?" Weiss snapped out of her trance and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. "I was not!" Calming herself and clearing her throat, the heiress drew closer to her girlfriend and bite her bottom lip. 'They're even better up close...I wonder how they feel?' "I don't see why you're so concerned about them Ruby... I think your legs look lovely."

"Re...Really?" Ruby squeaked, her silver eyes shining.

"Of course." Weiss gave her a slight nod before she began to trail the tip of her pointer finger over Ruby's thigh for a few moments before she smiled to herself. The skin was in fact, smooth. Very smooth. "Well, it's been a rather long day. Why don't we lay down for a bit?"

"Alright! Just let me change and-"

"No! No, I ahh, I just...let's just lay down." Weiss stuttered, her face burning. She didn't want to tell Ruby that she just really wanted to feel more of her legs, fearing that she would never hear the end of it. Her heart leapt from within her chest when she watched Ruby shrug and crawl into her bed and under the covers.

She had never changed into her nightgown faster in all her life, when she entered the room again, she glared at Ruby when she whined about how unfair it was that she got to change, but that didn't matter to the heiress.

All that mattered now, was her form pressing against Ruby's as her own slender legs tangled with the other's. She knew she really shouldn't be doing this, that this was only going to be making her dreams all the more real, but what was a girl to do? Pass this up?

Pffffffft, no. Dust they felt so good.

~ Bonus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Weiss, are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Just...let me rub lotion on them...okay?! I'm being nice!" Weiss snapped as she applied the lavender lotion to ruby's legs, a deep blush covering her cheeks. 'I'm in too deep!'
