Rage Quit Ruby!

Ruby, as many knew her, was a kind spirit that believed in the good of things, even when she shouldn't. She was the kind of girl that, if storm clouds were running along the sky and thunder was shaking the air, would believe that maybe there would be no storm and she could go outside and play. Of course, everyone knew the storm was coming, but to Ruby, all she could see were clear skies ahead.

So, when Pyrrha Nikos bought Ruby a video game in thanks for sparring with her, and taking that hard shield bash to the nose, no one could foresee the utter rage that could spew from one, tiny girl.

"I HATE THIS STUPID LEVEL!" Ruby roared out, hands wrapped around a large controller so tight her knuckles were white. She gave a good foot stomp just to make sure the game knew of her frustrations, but she was sure it didn't care.

"Uh, Rubbles?" Yang asked, watching the heavily armored character stand from what looked to be a small, bonfire. She had seen Ruby run this part almost ten times now, and the vein that pulsed at the side of her little sister's head, as well as when she would grind her teeth, was starting to give Yang some concerns. "Maybe~ you should put this down for an hour or two, huh?"

The quick head spin and steel colored glare told her the answer before that small mouth was even opened. "No! What kind of idea is that?! You want me to quit?! Am I a QUITTER to you?!"

"N-no, Ruby, but-"

"Then I'm not quitting! I'm going to make this level wish it was NEVER dreamed up! I'm going to kill those stupid enemies, run my way downtown, go through that fog gate, and slam my fist so far into the boss' face he'll have to poop his own teeth out!"

The silence in the room was thick, Yang clearing her throat before she looked over to the stunned figures of Blake and Weiss. "I, uh...I don't know if I should be proud or worried."

Blake was quite for a moment, as if in thought, then shook her head. "Well, she's using a sword, so she wouldn't be punching him-" The sound of a recent death rung through the room, and the speed with which Ruby dropped her controller and spun to face the faunus was astounding, even for her.

"Oh, my DUST, Blake!" Ruby cried out. "Are you serious?! I'm trying to fight, an entire city of hollowed-out buttholes to go down and kill an eight foot tall goat-man, and you want to nitpick about whether I'm gonna punch him or slice him up?!"

"The whole thing is stupid if you ask me." Weiss huffed, looking over her nails with disinterest. "What's the point of the game being so hard, anyway?"

"For the feeling of achievement! Of victory over the impossible!" Ruby shouted, failing her arms before she picked up the controller again and began to play. "Even the Belfry Gargoyles weren't this hard, and that was a Two v. One!"

"Yeah… but, you're fighting two dogs too, so…" Yang pointed out, happy the silver glare wasn't turned on her. Seriously, that glare was a bit too strong for someone so sweet. "Look, Sis, I'mma take the girls over next door so you can play in peace, huh?"

"Yeah, yeah." Ruby mumbled, her eyes glued to the TV as her fingers worked. She didn't mind if they were here or gone, all she cared about was at least beating the stupid level and reaching a new bonfire!

Yang ushered the faunus and heiress outside and into JNPR's room, the blonde leader already holding the door open for them and closing it as they entered. A sigh of relief left the strong fighter, the weight of her shoulders sagging felt pretty good right now.

"I did not think my gift would be so...well received." Pyrrha offered, feeling bad for getting the game in the first place. "It was highly rated, and it said it was for avid gamers, which you and Ruby boast of your experiences often."

"No, no! It's a great game!" Yang said, placing a hand on Pyrrha's shoulder. "Ruby just...she gets angry if she doesn't make any progress."

"Yes, well, she's going to have a heart attack is she doesn't calm down." Weiss pointed out. "I thought she was going to bite Blake's head off for a moment there, and we've rarely seen Ruby so uptight." The small teen then looked over to Blake before she smirked softly. "Though she was criticizing a game that has a lot more wrong with it then what was in question."

"Fantasy games normally do, Weiss." Blake offered. "But that wasn't what was in question. The fact that Ruby was going to punch an eight foot tall goat demon, verses using her reinforced sword is, what I was bringing up." Blake said, brushing off the smirked response and crossed her arms.

"Are you KIDDING me?! That was-! I-!" Ruby's voice rang out, the fuming hiss of her being utterly tongue tied and unable to properly communicate such lasted for a moment before an odd, statement rung out from her. "I'm Ffffffffffff- I'M FLIPPING APPLES!"

There was a short silence that came from the friends, all a bit shocked at the statement before they all started to laugh- Pyrrha finding it to be rather hilarious and rather innocent.

"Did she just say that? To keep from cursing?" Jaune asked between gasps as he held his sides, which seemed to be throbbing from laughter.

"Oh my Dust, that was cute!" Nora laughed as she nudged Ren, who smiled back. "I dunno if I know someone cuter than Ruby now! It should be illegal to be this adorable!"

There was a few thumps coming from the room across them, clearly Ruby stomping as she vented her rage. What caught them off guard was the all too calm silence that soon followed. They all paused for a moment, straining their ears to hear anything. They waited for what felt like an hour, but it was only a few minutes. It was clear everyone was getting nervous, but it was Yang that pulled out her scroll and dialed Ruby's number. She didn't know if the young teen would pick up, but it was worth a shot.

"Ruby?" Yang asked as the line connected, sighing in relief as her sister answered even if the voice was clipped and stern. It was clear that she was still fighting something, her desperate hisses of 'yes' and 'no, no' clues enough. "Are you alright? We heard you stomping and then there wasn't a single sound! You're still playing? Maybe you should give that a-" There was sound like a whip being cracked, or something breaking just before there was a scream of victory from her sister. It was so loud it had Yang pulling away from the device and its speakers crackling. The ringing in her ears was the least of her problems, however, since the door was thrown open and petals were flying off her little sister's excited form.

"I BEAT HIM! I BEAT HIM!" Ruby screamed in utter joy. She had rushed over to Yang so fast that even though she was hanging off the older, they were still swinging around from being thrown off balance. That didn't bother Ruby, of course, because her next action was to latch onto Blake with a look of pride. "AND! And I used my FISTS! I unequipped my heavy sword and I went knuckles to knuckles just like Yang would and I WON!"

Blake smirked softly as she pulled Ruby off and patted her head. "Good job, Fearless Leader. Now, well you give that game a break?"

"Are you kidding me?!" Ruby gasped, shocked they would ask such a thing. "I just beat that boss and got to a new area! How could I quit now?!" She asked, but was grabbed from behind by a familiar pair of arms and hugged tightly.

"Oh, no you don't!" Yang huffed, keeping Ruby close and killing off her struggles. "That's enough out of you, Missy! You've ranted, screamed, stomped, and raged enough for one day! Had me down right worried for a minute. You know what that means~"

Ruby grinned widely, stopping her struggles and giggling. "Yep! That means it's cuddle time!" It was common knowledge that the sisters thrived on physical contact and how they would cuddle close to not only stay warm, but to do just about anything.

The two hugged and giggled, Yang blowing raspberries on Ruby's neck to get her to laugh before they let go and grinned at each other. It was cute to watch, almost too cute.

"Oh no!" Nora whined, shielding her eyes. "I found something even sweeter! Ren! I can already feel my teeth rotting!" The bubbly ginger teased.

"I can feel my teeth rotting too." Weiss huffed with an eye roll. "Now come on, before everyone's teeth start to fall out."

Dragging the sisters back to their dorm, Blake and Weiss smiled as Ruby started talking about how she was beating the mighty Capra Demon, making Yang smile and laugh at her tale. When they were out of ear shot, Pyrrha couldn't help but grin to herself, after all, she in short did what no man nor woman was thought to be able to do.

She made Ruby Rose mad.

A/N: Hey there! Here's a small rage chapter! I took this from my own experience with the Dark Souls, though this had a much happier ending. (Mine ended up with a raw, torn up throat and my sister having to beat him because I had quit) SO! Big news! Not only do I have a beta reader (Thank you very much Minesniper) But I have the first chapter to all three stories on my up! Everyone can read them for free, but second chapters and up are for paid only, so you can try before you buy, I guess! Those are also beta'ed by Minesniper, so hopefully there won't be any silly mistakes in them. Speaking of buying, did you know I've been making clothes too?! There are on sell on Ebay! If you're interested, throw me a message, okay? Love you guys! Have a great day! XD
