Here's Chapter 15 of RWBY: Necrophobia. Enjoy.

Blake stared at the image. There was no doubt in her mind. Every horrific detail was there. This was a drawing of the monster that had assaulted them.

"How is this possible?" Blake asked aloud, despite knowing that no one had the answer.

"I don't know," Yang said. "But it's freaking me out. I can only tell myself it's a coincidence so many times before my imagination starts trying to connect the dots…and I don't like the pictures it's painting."

"Uh, I just realized something." Ruby said, taking the picture from Yang. "Is it just me or-"

"If I may interject." Altheda interrupted. She turned to face Blake. "Miss Belladonna, you mentioned that this image may have been what triggered Weiss's episode. Would you care to elaborate?"

Blake looked at the doctor before turning her head towards her teammates. Yang shrugged and Ruby just looked back and forth between the two before mouthing "Am I missing something?"

Blake sighed and looking back at the doctor. "You may not believe this but…we think that this picture is a drawing of the thing we saw on our mission a few days ago."

The doctor looked at Blake and then held out her hand towards Ruby for the drawing. It took a moment for her to understand this, but once she did she handed Altheda the picture without hesitation.

"I used to look at sketches like this all the time." Altheda said. The girls couldn't tell if she was talking to them or herself. "Horrible images of monsters and murder. I used to think that they were the nightmares that were in that poor child's head. But deep down, as time went on, I think I was afraid that these were things she'd seen…or, at least, she thought she saw. And I'll tell you three this: This drawing shows only one of several monsters she's drawn over the years. And if those things actually exist…" Altheda visibly shuddered. "Let's just hope that this is just a coincidence."

The three girls just looked at the doctor as Altheda handed the drawing back to Ruby. After a moment of staring, Yang spoke up. "Well…That was morbid."

"Yeah, sorry about that." Altheda said, leaning against the wall. "To simplify a long story, her drawings have given me nightmares that have caused me to wake up screaming." Ruby raised her hand. Altheda looked at her, looking mildly confused. "You know, this isn't a classroom. You can just speak your mind."

Ruby lowered her hand and gave a small, awkward chuckle. "Uh, I don't mean to make your nightmares worse, but does part of this thing look like a person to anyone else?"

Blake and Yang gathered around Ruby to look at the drawing again. Sure enough, the upper part of the creature did seem to resemble part of a human being. The two could make out where the torso would be, the arms, and the head. That was where the similarities (thankfully) seemed to stop.

"Yes I have noticed that before." Altheda answered, rubbing her eyes with her thumb and index finger. "And I'd prefer it if no one brings up that little fact due to how I don't want to get my old night terrors back."

"But why does this thing resemble a person?" Yang asked. "Is it like how Grimm seem to resemble different animals? Could this just be some sort of humanoid version?" Blake noticed that Yang seemed almost…hopeful? Was she interpreting the blonde's tone correctly?

Blake wasn't the only one who noticed this. "Miss Xiao Long," Altheda began. "Why exactly do you sound cheerful that this may be some sort of Grimm in an almost human form? I would think that thought would send chills down the spines of most others."

"Yeah, well, I'd rather it be some sort of Grimm because," Yang gave a small, but very noticeable shiver. "I really don't want to imagine any other reason why this thing resembles a person."

"I second that statement." Ruby said.

"As do I." Blake concurred.

"Then it's unanimous," Altheda said, clapping her hands together. "Let's change the subject shall we?"

"Wait," Ruby said, sounding slightly confused. "You also get a vote?"

Altheda crossed her arms before replying. "You know I can kick the three of you out of here any time I want, right?"

Ruby hesitated for a moment and then gave a big nod. "Yep, she gets a vote."

"Smart move kid." Altheda chuckled. Her eyes widened in surprise as she suddenly straightened her posture. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a vibrating scroll. "Excuse me while I take this call."

The girls walked over to one another as Altheda began to talk into her scroll.

"So," Ruby began. "Did the thing that attacked us really look like this?"

"Didn't you see it?" Yang asked rhetorically.

"Yeah," Ruby replied. "For about two seconds before it slammed me against a wall and knocked me out cold."

"Well," Blake said. "I only saw it for about fifteen seconds before your sister blew us up."

"I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THAT!" Yang screamed, causing the other two girls to jump slightly. "…Sorry, I just…could you please stop rubbing salt in the wound?"

The two gave a hasty yes before they noticed Altheda putting down her scroll. The psychiatrist walked over to the three while she tucked the device back into her pocket.

"Alright girls," She said. "It seems visiting hours are over."

"What?" Ruby asked.

"You have to leave now." Altheda explained.

"Do we have to?" Yang whined.

"Yes…I just said that."

Yang and Ruby sighed. "Fine…" Ruby groaned. She walked over to the window and saw Weiss, still asleep in her bed. She gave a small wave and said, "Bye Weiss."

"Bye Ice Queen." Yang called out and gave a small smile directed towards her sister. Blake gave a silent goodbye as Altheda guided them out of the room.

The girls arrived in the lobby and saw Glynda sitting on a nearby chair, looking through files on her scroll. She looked up toe her three students and the doctor exiting the main hallway.

"…How did it go?" She asked hesitantly, avoiding direct eye contact with any member of team RWBY.

"Um, it went well? I guess." Ruby responded.

"You guess?"

"Well, Weiss flung herself onto Blake and started crying like a baby." Yang said. Glynda looked taken aback. "Oh," Yang raised her arm up. "And she stabbed me with a pen."

"Now that last one sounds more like Miss Schnee."

"How does stabbing me with a pen sound like something Weiss would do?" Yang questioned.

"It's not necessarily something that she would do per say," Glynda explained. "But it does line up with what I observed when I saw her when I came here a few days ago."

"Oh." Yang muttered.

Glynda looked off to the side, as if to contemplate something. She then sighed and looked back at team RWBY. "And…if I'm going to be completely honest, I find it somewhat hard to believe that Weiss Schnee would do anything of the sort with any of you in the same room."

"Believe it," Altheda said as team RWBY each gave a small look of confusion. "I'm a witness to the whole ordeal."

"Excuse me?" Ruby said, raising her hand. "What do you mean you wouldn't believe Weiss would cry with us in the same room?"

Yang leaned and whispered, "You don't need to raise your hand sis." Ruby gave an embarrassed grin and moved her arm to her side.

"I have a bit of difficulty imagining her crying, let alone crying in front of her friends and teammates." Glynda clarified. She glanced at her watch. "We'd better get going. The airship isn't going to wait forever."

"Actually Miss Goodwitch," Altheda said. "I was wondering if we could talk for a while. I have some questions regarding Weiss's treatment."

Glynda gave the doctor a confused look. "I don't know what you would need me for, after all psychology isn't a field that I-"

"Please," Altheda interrupted. "Just…stick around for a bit. There's an idea I would like to discuss with you."

Glynda sighed. "Alright." She turned to face her students. "You three get on the airship and tell the pilot to leave without me. I'll call for another ship after we're done talking."

"Thank you Miss Goodwitch." Altheda said as the girls nodded.

Ruby, Blake, and Yang walked out the door as Goodwitch and Altheda proceeded back down the hall the girls had come from.

Blue eyes slowly fluttered open as Weiss began to wake. She was in a bed. The lack of another bed above her told her she wasn't in her dorm. And as she raised her head, the sight of the padded walls around her told her exactly where she was. She laid her head back on the pillow and groaned miserably.

She was back at the Asylum. And in the same room where she'd found herself in when she was thirteen. Weiss had been so scared back then. She'd screamed for her mother, her father, and her sister but none of them had been there. It taken Altheda quite a while to calm her down, to convince her that she wasn't in danger. Yet that had been nothing compared to the amount of time it took Weiss to accept what had happened; that she'd lost her mother, four years of her life, and that she'd…she'd….

Weiss closed her eyes tightly, tears beginning to form in the corner of her eyes. She couldn't bear to think about it. The guilt was just too much for her. She brought her hand up to wipe the tears from her eyes only to find that her face seemed to be wet already. Apparently, she'd been crying recently.

Opening her eyes and twisting her head to the side, Weiss saw what had to be her handiwork. Drawings of the Marker littered the floor and the wall. The phrase Make Us Whole seemed to be written everywhere. After all these years Weiss still didn't know what it meant. And she didn't want to know. She just wanted it to stop, to leave her alone. But she wasn't sure it ever would. Heck, she didn't even know what it was.

Weiss slowly lifted herself so she was sitting upright on the mattress. She looked over to the window above her. While the window was slightly tinted, she could make out two figures behind the glass. She raised her arm and gave a small wave. Neither figure reacted. At a second glance, rather than looking towards her, they seemed to be looking at each other.

Sighing, Weiss threw her legs over the edge of the bed and slowly lifted herself up. She took a few hesitant steps towards the door, unsure if her legs would still work after…however long she hadn't been herself. Thankfully, her legs seemed to be working fine and felt just like how she remembered them. So, at the very least, she hadn't been out for weeks or months. Well…at least she hoped that was the case.

She walked over to the door and grabbed the handle. She tried to open it, but the door wouldn't budge. Weiss sighed knowing that, in hindsight, she should have expected that. She looked down at her legs and saw what she expected: a small, grey device wrapped around her ankle. Altheda had told her about it back when she first woke up several years ago. It locked the door whenever she got too close to it. When she was thirteen she'd felt that the monitor was the lock that kept her caged. But now…now she understood why it had been necessary.

The Schnee heiress took a step back and looked to the side of the door. There was a single, green call button next to the door. She pressed it and a small light turned on above the button. She could hear the faint buzzing noise that would be heard in the room above her. Assuming they weren't too distracted, one of the two people she had seen should be on their way down. She just hoped that Altheda was still her psychiatrist. After everything that had surfaced in her memories…She just wanted to see a familiar (and real) face.

Team RWBY stepped off the airship and onto Beacon's campus. Even though there was still a few hours left in the day, all the girls wanted to do was go back to their dorm and rest. Ruby had wanted to ask Blake about Cerca Mine, but one look from Yang told her that was not going to end well. Yang didn't want to talk about the monster on the train or Weiss's old pictures, so Ruby didn't know what to do to start a conversation.

The young team leader felt her Scroll vibrate in her pocket. She quickly pulled it out, eager for something to take her mind off everything that had happened. Instead, she found Professor Goodwitch on her caller ID.

I feel like I say this every time I update (and I might have even said this before but): I am so sorry for how long this took for me to update. The next chapters will hopefully not take as long, but I promise nothing.

Volume 3 (*calm down, there's no spoilers here*) was awesome. There is no arguing that. But there one major issue I have with this volume: It's over. And now we all have to wait months for the next season. Honestly, I think it would be pretty cool if Roosterteeth made small little World of Remnants to fill in the gap; maybe one a month or something.

For those of you who wanted more Cerca Mine, don't worry, I already have an idea for where/when I can have Weiss flashback again. (That's also why I started those chapters with "The Cerca Mine Incident Part #")

(By the way, sorry for those who followed if you got multiple emails about this chapter. I fumbled a bit with the document upload.)

Alright well, please fav, follow, or leave a review to let me know what you thought about this chapter (because it's been a while since I've done one in the present). And if you already have: Thanks! I appreciate it.
