Chapter 6: C

Yes! I am back! This is my most favorite story ever, so I plan on updating this more than any of my other stories! If you want to see another one of my other stories published please tell me!

Disclaimer: And so… Even for Christmas, I am not lucky…

Pepper couldn't believe her ears. "You're kidding right? Even after your story, you still want to kidnap me?" Tony swiveled on his heels and crossed his arms across his chest. His arms, well toned and lean, seem to impose the gesture "try me."

"Kidnap is such an ugly word don't you think, Angel?" Tony smirked. Pepper growled. Her eyes brimmed with tears. So this was it? She would be at the mercy of a monster. A monster that cared so much about her, but didn't seem to care at the same time?

Her life was over, at the mercy of an evil teenage hottie that she had fallen in love with. No, she corrected herself. She hadn't fallen in love with this Tony, but instead another.

"Don't call me that. I'm not your Pepper, or your Angel. I hope you know even if you took me back to your dimension, I'll never look at you as my real boyfriend. I'll just look at you as though you're a demon. The truth will leak and you'll be in a heap of trouble." Pepper muttered angrily. She hadn't meant her words to come out as scared, but her voice trembled like a leaf.

Tony came up to her and stroked her hair. His eyes skimmed her hair and eventually found her eyes. Noticing the tears trickling down her cheeks, he brushed his thumb lightly, catching the tears on his thumb. "Why are you crying? You should be thrilled to be with me." He said softly. His eyes softened as Pepper fought back the terrible sobs coming from her throat. She had to bite the inside of her cheek to control them.

With her nose about to run and her tears falling like a waterfall, she knew that she was beat. She couldn't fight him. No matter what she said, he would still take her away. He would take her to his dimension and she would be forced to become "Angel."

Pepper became disgusted by that thought. Even with her tears, this Tony didn't seem to care that she was upset about leaving behind her love. He would only softly say, "Don't cry… Shh." But wouldn't bother hinting that she could remain and that he could go back empty handed.

She turned her head to the side, showing that she was horrified at his actions and didn't want to speak to him anymore. If he understood the sign, he didn't bother expressing it. "Stop touching me." She growled at him. She tried snapping at him, but Tony pulled away just in time.

His eyes darkened. "Listen to me. I'm going to make your life worth living! How can you not want to come with me? I'm just like the Tony Stark from your dimension! We are the one and the same, nothing different except the fact that I'm from somewhere else."

Pepper looked at him, her eyes burning. "You are different! You're nothing like my Tony. All you care about is me! ME! There is nothing else in the world but that. I'm positive that you can't wait to get me in bed, huh? You just want me that much!" She spat with venom. "You're disgusting! You have no idea how much hurt and hate I feel towards you! No matter what happens I will always love my Tony. Even if he's dead! Nothing can make me stay away from him."

Tony suddenly stood, his eyebrows shooting up. "You just gave me the best idea I have never heard, Angel."

Pepper's eyes widened. She tried moving, only to realize her hands were chained behind her back. The chain was directly grounded into the wall, so no matter how much she twisted she was stuck. "WAIT! What are you talking about? What did I say? WHAT IDEA?!"

Tony was about to leave when he looked back at her. A smirk rode along his lips. "I'm going to have to kill Tony Stark."

Tony lost his lead almost immediately after following the footsteps. From the hospital the dirt trail had continued moving on for a couple of feet before disappearing. He had cursed, frustrated, but managed to continue in the same direction.

His phone rang.

"Please tell me you found something helpful, Rhodey." Tony asked with a groan. He was panting heavily, unable to get sufficient amount of oxygen to his head. Once he almost blacked out completely as he ran down the streets.

"How about that I found your location?" Rhodey seemed so proud of himself that Tony didn't have the heart to burst his bubble. Instead, he rolled his eyes and nodded.

"Okay, well it is better than anything." After a pause he heard some clicking around his armory. "I need you to find an energy signature that is near the Manhattan Hospital. Get the blueprints of the place first and send me the picture to my phone." He said quickly.

"Alright sure. What are your plans exactly?" Rhodey asked. He was always concerned for his dear friend.

Tony waited as the stoplight flashed him an orange palm. "Do not proceed. Do not proceed." It repeated in a male voice. Tony leaned against the stoplight pole and caught his breath. The sky was beginning to grow darker, threatening the New Yorkers that it may rain.

"I'm going to pinpoint the exact place on the blueprint where the footsteps began. If I'm lucky the energy signature of the other Tony will still be there. If it is, you can send me the signature's trail and I can hopefully find the place that Pepper is locked up in." Tony said. As he said it he was thinking over the possible ways the other Tony may stop him. Even if he was from another dimension, that didn't mean that he didn't think like Tony.

Tony groaned. Tony this, and Tony that. It was hurting his brain. "Well that's genius, but you probably hear that all the time don't you?" Rhodey questioned. Tony could've sworn he felt Rhodey smirk. He laughed himself, feeling relief with the burst of air escaping his lungs.

Tony heard Rhodey talking about getting ready to send the blueprints over. "Alright. Thanks man." Tony responded. He ended the call and looked at his background image. It was, of course, Pepper and himself. They were on their very first date. Tony remembered how he was so nervous that day. He promised that he would take Pepper to the best restaurant he knew, and he did. It was the best in all of New York.

They sat down on a reserved table for the elite and top class. He remembered Pepper's face she was beyond shocked. Her mouth dropping as she saw the table, embroidered with red silk and the candles giving the table a romantic feel.

Tony closed his eyes in desperation. "Pepper…" He said with a moan. His eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he recalled that night together.

They kissed that day as well. It was during their dessert, a chocolate molten cake. Tony was eating when he saw some chocolate icing in the corner of her mouth. He reached over and wiped it off, smearing it across her lips. She looked at him astonishment, wondering why he just didn't tell her.

Pepper had closed her eyes, anticipating Tony's lips on her own. And sure enough they did. Someone had happened to take his phone, and managed to capture the moment perfectly. Their eyes were closed; Tony's hand was resting on her check, and Pepper's hands were busy holding the silver utensils.

Tony was wearing a dark blue suit and a red tie. And Pepper decided to match with him. She was wearing a beautiful silky red dress that reached down to her knees. She had blue jewelry on as well, so they looked perfect in the picture.

Tony opened his eyes seeing his vision was blurry. Was he crying?! Tony Stark surely did not cry in times of weakness! But, he caught himself, Superman might have kryptonite as his weakness, but Pepper was his.

He was about to cross the street when a blast of light erupted in front of him, barely missing his feet. Tony hopped back, instinctively reaching for his backpack. He looked down at his chest and cursed. He brought Pepper to the hospital in his Iron Man suit, but instead of keeping the backpack on him, he sent the suit back to the armory. "Stupid…" Tony said in anger. "STUPID! STUPID!" He turned on his heels and ran.

Taking one glance behind him he saw his armor. It was the one he had recently built, it was Mark 2. But at the same time it wasn't Mark 2. Rhodey wouldn't dare shoot at him, and Tony noticed on the boot of the armor, there was his name written in gold.

Tony wouldn't be that stupid to put his name on the boot of his armor; everyone would know his identity.

So, Tony glared at the armor, his eyes glowering at the person inside. "You!" He shouted. He stopped in his tracks and stood his ground.

"Haha, and I must say… you. You're the famous Tony Stark of this world." The armor shouted back. Tony stumbled a little in shock. It was him! It was his voice. Tony was gapping at Iron Man, not noticing the citizens running around in fear.

Children and adults plowed their way through the sidewalk, hoping to get as far away as they could from the armor and the teenage boy.

Tony's eyes widened. He didn't know what to say, what to do. This teen was him, and they were the exact same. Nothing made them different, except that they lived in different worlds. But one thing was for sure; he had his Pepper that gave him the motivation. Even though that Tony loved her too, he loved Pepper twice that. And just because the other Tony had Pepper somewhere hostage, nothing would keep him from pushing his limits to find her.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Tony shouted up at himself. "You have Pepper! You have everything you want! What else do you need?" Tony was aware of his cell phone ringing and buzzing in his pocket, but any sudden move would most likely alert the other Tony, and then he would become nothing but a dead body.

The suit came down more to the ground. It was a good distance away, so that Tony wouldn't be able to "hitch a ride." "I can't possibly take her away. I can't possibly have her Stark. She loves you too much, and she's grounded to you like an anchor. I can put an end to that and that may just put an end to that." That Tony said with a chuckle. Tony realized that the other Tony wasn't surprised that Tony knew about the whole "dimension" thing. And, well, that surprised him.

Tony swallowed, paling when he heard that. He knew what that meant, even without getting a hint.

And sure enough he dared to ask the question. "And what will you do?" He asked.

The armor came down to his level, landing onto the sidewalk. It raised an arm, the repulsor charging and humming, getting ready to be fired. The other Tony leveled the arm to Tony's chest.

"I'll have to kill you."

Ouch… That must be a painful ending for you guys. And not to mention an equally devastating cliffhanger. What can you say? Let me predict y'alls response… "OH YOU'RE EVIL!" From a special someone!
