Author's Note: Yay! PanDa! I'm not sorry for loving these two. Also, I have an idea of how to end this...

It makes me sad that this will eventually come to an end, but, hey, it has to sometime.

Disclaimer (Dark Side of the Moon): I don't own Hetalia. It and all of its character, ideas, and awkward moments belong to Hima-papa~

Russia reached a hand to shake his friend. "Comrade, open your eyes. We are going to land soon" he warned.

"… Hm?" Kiku sat up, his side suddenly feeling very cold. "Already? Ah, gomen, I didn't mean to fall asleep."

Ivan hesitated for a little bit before looking down. "It is fine. And you are all right, da? He didn't hurt you?" If England hurt his little friend, then he was going to have to torture- he shook his head, breaking his darker thoughts away with a smile.

Letting out a long sigh, Japan rested back in his seat, already feeling the jet start to angle itself downwards. "No, he didn't, but you didn't need to attack him like that." He furrowed his brows together. "Even though I am grateful for the distraction, he is still my friend… I hope…" He wasn't sure if he'd be friends with himself if he was in England's shoes.

The Russian next to him perked up. "You don't like the English pig?"

Kiku flushed. "Please don't call him that, and no- at least, not in the way he seems to like me…"

Ivan pouted. "Oh, but he is like a little piggy- taking on more than he could chew and ending up in the mud for it," he smiled a bit too wide at the thought of England eating dirt.

"I thought you two actually had a fairly good relationship?"

Russia shrugged. "Things change, da? Besides, I am focusing on making only one relationship better." He leaned over his seat, looking right at Japan. "That one would be the one I have with my new best friend." The last few words didn't make him as happy as he thought they would, but he was still glad to have a friend. "Oh, and I'm sure Comrade will be nice and continue keeping his promise, yes?"

Kiku was about to argue that, one, he was technically on a date, and, two, he frankly didn't even realize the Russian was in the same restaurant until the kiss was interrupted, when he felt the words disappear before he could say anything. He looked away from the other's face and silently nodded. "I will, but you also have to remember that sometimes it won't be able to happen, like when meetings have assigned seating…" Why was his tone apologetic? Kiku blinked, trying to think things through.

It surely wasn't because he liked sitting next to the Russian, was it? Wait- Ivan was his friend, right? Wasn't he supposed to enjoy being near him? So… Why was he so hesitant to do so? He could easily sit next to America, even get awkward hugs from him without feeling the need to push the other off immediately, so why was this so difficult?

"It must be because I am not used to Ivan-chan yet… Yes, that sounds right." He smiled faintly, making a silent promise. "I am going to have to get used to him by the end of my stay, even if it means getting hugged."

Ivan's laugh snapped him out of his thoughts. "I'm fairly certain whoever is sitting next to me will be willing to trade with you, so no worries, Comrade."

"Um… right." Kiku looked at the man, trying to see if Russia was upset at his own comment since it meant no one wanted to sit by him, but, as the Russian sent him a small, real smile, he recognized the happiness in his tone. He gave a small smile back. "I see, then I will be happy to keep you company…"

"Ufufu, I'm very glad to hear that." He arched his brows when Japan's hands tightened around the armrests as they landed, but he didn't question it. He must not like planes too much.

The Japanese relaxed as the plane slowed to a stop, finally hearing the faint scratching nearby. He let out a sigh and got up in the jet, moving to where his pets were in their kennels. It turned out that Tama had woken up during the landing and was spooked. He pulled the cat out and into his arms to comfort him. "We're on the ground."

Ivan looked over at him. "Hm? Oh…" He saw an opportunity when he saw the cat instantly relax, stepping to crouch down behind Kiku and wrap his arms around him, resting his head on top of the other's. "Did you know that animals reflect their owners? Does this mean you want to be held?"

Kiku stiffened. "W-well… no, I didn't know that." His cat shifted in his arms and licked his cheek, blocking his face from the Russian's eyes. He moved as well, scooting forward to get out of the hold and put the now-calm cat into his kennel. He stood and picked up the kennels. "Ah, how long did you want me to stay again?"

"Hm?" Ivan snapped out of something. "Oh, we don't have to set a time. You could just move in after all," he said hopefully. "The house is rather lonely since the Baltics ran away."

Japan stared. "Er… It is a nice offer, but…" He looked down. "Well…"

Russia looked hurt for a second, but quickly covered it up. "My house is closer to your home than the pig's house is."

Kiku's eyes widened, lifting his head to look at Ivan's face. "Russia-chan… are you jealous?"

The car ride to the man's home was uncomfortable, the weather and mood were both downcast. Ivan kept glancing at the man beside him in the cab, but never started a conversation as Kiku continued ignoring him.

Since the man was so blatantly not talking to him, Ivan decided to take his time looking at him, seeing that he didn't need to keep his eyes on the road. A sweater that appeared to be handmade was covering the thin frame, casual slacks hiding the rest. Russia sighed, cradling his head in his hand.

"Da. I am."

He watched in surprise as the man turned red, both of them understanding what that answered.

Aww... He admitted it. Now then, what'll happen at Ivan's house now?

Ohoho~

Also, I'm considering publishing an M-rated story for these two. What do y'all think?
