It's been 84 years. Well, this is awkward. I haven't updated this fic since 2014, I think. A couple of days ago I got a comment asking me to update. Thank you Jem Juliette Jewels Jade.

A couple of things. I'm sorry for not updating. I've been lazy and forgotten about this. Sorry, again. Also I haven't seen Prince of Tennis in 2 years except the OVA's for the new one, but there are no subs, whats up with that?

So I've forgotten a lot of character names, but don't worry. I found chapter 12 in my files. I edited it a litte. I don't got any BETA anymore, so there are mistakes when it comes to grammar and english, but I tried.

Note about the story: There is a refrence to that one Prince of tennis series where there were only pictures and voice over. I don't remember the name of that show. BUT here this is. I don't know if its good, but I tried.

Chapter 12: MOUNTAIN TRIP PART 5

"What was that, ahh?" Atobe asked as he looked over at the Seigaku team. He had been woken up from his beauty sleep by some annoyingly loud noise.

"The hook man!" Akaya shouted from underneath the Hyotei captain. The kid was hiding under his chair. What was he doing there? "No, maybe a bear or a wolf!" He continued assuming the worst. Because the worst was always some sort of animal. "No, it has to be Godzilla! Godzilla is after me."

The team looked at each other. Whatever the noise was, it was probably not what their little friend was pointing to.

"I vote for going back into the lodge nyaa," Eiji said with his hand up. "Oishi agrees." He added and held the Vice captain's hand up. There was no response from him. He looked pretty blue. Literally blue.

"Objection!" Momoshiro shouted and shot his hand up in the air. It looked more like a trial. "We are so checking this out. This seems exciting, really exciting."

"Idiot, we are in the woods on a mountain, of course there will be sounds like that everywhere fshhh," Kaidoh commented while looking annoyed at Momoshiro who was grinning wider for every second.

"Arah, are you afraid?"

"Why would I be afraid idiot?"

The rivals glared at each other. It was just luck that Tezuka bothered to interrupted them. He looked surprisingly tired.

"Momoshiro, Kaidoh, don't fight. I'm checking this out anyone who wants to join me can do so. The others can keep training. You all lack coordination. It might have been Taka-san just crashing into a tree." Tezuka explained indifferently.

Eiji whined loudly but shut up after Tezuka glanced at him.

"I will join you," Fuji said smiling. No, that was just his resting face.

"This is just stupid and Kirihara, get out from under there," Atobe said and nearly stepped on Akaya's hand. Wait? There was no hand there. He looked under his chair. The space was empty. "Kirihara? He is gone."

Seigaku looked over at him. "There is 89% of Kirihara not being there." Inui pointed out and pushed his glasses up, trying to look cool.

"That's what I said, whatever-your-name-is." Atobe said looking back up at the team which was standing there awkwardly.

Inui coughed into his hand. "I was just repeating," he mumbled, pushing up his glasses to try to regain his mysteriousness.

"Kirihara!?" Eiji shouted and turned around. He was nowhere in sight.

"Where the h… where am I?" Akaya shouted but corrected himself in the middle of it. He just remembered something Yanagi sempai told him or was it fukubuchou? Anyways, he should never curse while shouting things like that. The trees would come to life and kill him if he did. The big green eyed boy scanned his surroundings. He was standing in the middle of some circle surrounded by gigantic trees, giant trees which looked like they could fall over and crush him any second. How had he ended up there? Well, another mystery goes unsolved. The only thing he wanted was to get out of there.

More precisely, home, to his mom.

What if Godzilla was still out there?! Hi breath hitched. No, that was crazy talk. And what had Yanagi sempai said about crazy talk or was it Niou sempai? He was kind of mixing them now. Who cared anyeays. If you talked crazy, people would start- he didn't remember…

Suddenly there was the sound of a branch cracking. The boy nearly shouted in surprise. "Tezuka-san?" Akaya whispered as he turned around hopefully for the first time in forever.

"What the hell are you talking about?" There was a deeper voice, if that was possibly, and totally not glasses-san's voice. This sounded more like a demon.

Out of the trees came a tall boy he had seen before. He was sure of it. The extreme use of hair gel which made Aizen from Bleach hair seem like bacon.

"You are…" Akaya whispered in shock. He hadn't seen this dude since that one time on the street. He had saved him from being beaten by some older guys. Okay, so "saved" wasn't the right word. It was more like he helped him. Akaya had it under control.

"Who are you?" Akutsu Jin asked. He looked pissed off down at Akaya.

"Kirihara-kun, what are you doing here?" Kawamura who came right up beside Akutsu asked surprised, yet friendly. Totally in character.

"I…" Akaya's jaw was lying in the ground.

"Twerp?" Akutsu looked confused over at Kirihara. After a couple of harsh glares and some spit landing on the ground, recognition glimpsed in the guy's eyes.

A sudden laugh made Akaya look up at another person who walked up to them. "I don't know the details, but yes- oh, look at the time, it's already 2 pm. We should head back." Kawamura said as he looked down at his watch. Some branches and leaves were stuck to his uniform. He looked like he had gone through a storm.

Akaya was still gapping, first of all. Why the hell was Akutsu Jin here? He hadn't seen him on the bus, not that he had been so awake, but he would have noticed a vampire! And why was Kawamura so calm? Hadn't he just ran into the forest like the incredible hulk?

"Where is your racket?" Were the first words escaping Akaya's mouth.

"My racket?" Kawamura looked at him questioning in his voice.

"I have it." Akutsu said and nodded back to his bag. Okay, this was really confusing.

"I found him!" A new voice shouted from his right. Akaya turned his head and looked up at Ryuzaki who was smiling with relief. "Kirihara, we have been looking for you. Taka-san, glad you are alright." The seigaku coach smiled at them. "Akutsu Jin, what are you doing here?"

When they all had gotten back to the lodge and gathered up, they had sat down in a circle. Discussing what was going on.

"I was out on a run." Akutsu continued.

"But we're in the middle of the woods." The Rikkaidai junior ace stated confused.

"He likes to take long runs." Kawamura explained.

Kaidoh had a look on his face that showed the he showed respect for this guy. He was nodding at what Akutsu was saying. That was kind of creepy. Why did even the guy run so far. Who did that?! They had taken a frigging bus there and this guy came here for morning runs. Come on!

"I have some news for you."

"News?" Oishi asked interested and confused.

"I didn't just come here for my morning run, but there is something you need to know. There is an armed robber on up here somewhere."

The kids gasped.

"Plus, Atobe is missing."

"But I am right here!" Atobe shouted annoyed.

"You are missing." Akutsu said. "Plus, I came here to take Taka-san with me."

"You just came here for him!? What kind of murderous person are you?" Akaya shouted frustrated. "At least think of the children. I mean the youngest looking child."

Kawamura chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Calm down Kirihara. He's just joking, right?" He looked over at his friend who avoided his eyes. "See."

"I rode my bike here," Akutsu said quietly.

Atobe who was sitting on his chair with a drink in his hand looked over at Akutsu as if he was mad. "You rode here on a bike?" He asked.

"Someone had taken my limo," Akutsu replied. It was silent for a couple of minutes. Had the tall scary guy just made a sarcastic comment? Had that really happened?

Akaya looked over to Atobe whose face seemed more purple than usual. Yes. White haired weirdo friend of weirdo with a fish fetish had.

Ryuzaki clapped her hands together. A bright smile was on her tired face. "Thank you so much."

"What about the robber?" Atobe asked as Ryuzaki finished her sentence. "There is a criminal on this mountain! And you're not worried about it or at least talking about it? Not that ore-sama is scared, but let us think farther than this."

"I have laid out traps," Inui pointed out.

"Did you know about this the whole time Inui-sempai?" Kaidoh asked surprised, not annoyed or hurt but just surprised that the glasses wearing weirdo who Akaya wanted to punch in the face right now could've done that while he could actually help fix Akaya's problem. Which was his height and age and every other thing.

Inui pushed up his glasses. "Be ready for the unexpected, always."

Kaidoh nodded his head in admiration.

Jackal Kuwahara threw another rock at the bucket he had been carrying around. His last couple of days had been hectic and he was looking forward to a nice weekend of some sort where he could relax and not think of anything regarding tennis.

At the moment he was on his knees at one of the tennis courts picking up stones which people liked to drop down at the court.

Sanada had picked him out for stone-picking-duty while the others were going to watch a movie. Without him. Jackal sat up at the ground and looked up at the darkening sky.

It seemed more orange than blue. Why hadn't he been invited to watch the movie? He clenched his hands into fists. He had to find a wig and soon, or he'd be kicked off the team. Niou could probably lend him one, if he asked very nicely and paid him.

He finished up, threw the last stone into the bucket, wiped his hands off on his shorts and then proceeded to carry the bucket outside to the school entrance.

As he emptied the bucket by the bus stop a dark minivan drove up beside him and stopped. He stopped what he was doing and looked confused at the vehicle.

Slowly the front door was open. Two short feet hit the ground. A five year old boy looked up at him with teary eyes.

"Akaya?" Jackal said slightly confused, because first of all. That vehicle was not the one he had seen the Sengoku leave in, also, Akaya wasn't supposed to be back in ages.

Akaya opened his mouth then closed it. "Uh…" His eyes seemed bigger and greener somehow. "You," the boy said awkwardly as if he had forgotten Jackal's name. Jackal's eyebrows sunk. Of course the kid hadn't forgotten who he was.

"My teammate," Akaya said and walked over with his arms outstretched, asking for a hug. This was weird but Jackal took what he could get and sat down on one knew to hug his shrunken teammate. "They tried to murder me…" Akaya sobbed into his shirt. Okay, Akaya did not sob or cry or cling to Jackal's shirt so that Jackal's shoulder got sticky with tears and snot. That did not happen.

"It's been great having him with us," Ryuzaki said from the minivan. She waved at Jackal before she drove off with the rest of the team.
