Encounter in the Trost District III:

Lemma

She watched as the boy she fought the colossal titan with earlier disappeared over the top of the wall. Sakura knew that there was no way that she could mend the gaping hole in the wall by herself.

Well, that wasn't necessarily true. She knew that whatever she did at the present moment could not provide a permanent solution to the hole in the wall. Though she could not gage the strength of the titans individually from afar, she knew that collectively they probably posed as significant a threat as the colossal aberration of nature she had to deal with moments prior.

Sakura knew of a particular jutsu that would help to temporarily plug the hole. She'd seen Kakashi-sensei perform the technique once and tried to replicate it on her own. It was easy to replicate, seeing how it only had four hand seals, however there were certain characteristics of the jutsu she'd have to forgo in order to ensure her own safe retreat, wellbeing, and chakra conservation.

The jutsu was Doton: Doryūheki. The caster of the jutsu can make the earth for the technique either from their own chakra or from readily available earth around them. It is during the hand seal formation that the caster can choose the amount of chakra to imbue the wall with. This is what lent the wall its unusual strength.

Sakura decided that mending the wall with the Earth technique was better than none, and hoped that she could buy the citizens living within the walls some time to evacuate the premises.

Cocking her fist back, she forced a chakra-laden fist into the ground and watched as the earth cracked and undulated away from her and towards the enemy humanoid creatures. The undulation toppled and tossed the titans, and while they were recovering their composure Sakura ran through the hole in the wall to the other side and quickly formed the Earth wall, making sure to imbue it with enough chakra so that its structural integrity would be maintained for a short time. She estimated that her jutsu could survive a good five to six minutes of attacks, depending on how long it took for the beings to overwhelm the jutsu.

After she completed the task, Sakura saw that there were a few titans ahead of her who made it inside the walls after the breach. She would have fought them, but two members of the military unit she encountered prior had made quick work of them before she could even attempt to. Sakura prepared to leave, but was stopped.

"Who are you? And how did you do that?" One finished, while gesturing towards the wall she just fixed. Sakura noticed that their body language was hostile, despite their measured tone of voice. The pair approached her calmly with swords drawn and paused a few feet in front of her. One of the members was a girl with black hair and pigtails, and the other was a young man with two-toned hair. The top of his head was like Naruto's—jagged and pointed ends. The back of his head (as much as she could see of it anyways, which wasn't much), was shaved down to the roots and black. Both parties watched her carefully. She did not move an inch.

"Again," the one who had spoken earlier spoke again "who are you? If you don't speak we'll have to arrest you."

Sakura decided that attempting to communicate with them was futile, so she elected to ignore them and walk ahead of them, only her path was blocked by them both crossing their swords in front of her to prevent her from advancing further. Sakura became incensed at being accosted in this manner, so she gave the pair a scowl before leaping onto their crossed swords and launching herself away from them. She ran away quickly so she could retrieve her mission pack and escape the town with the civilians before the humanoid creatures could breach the wall a second time.
