(Inutaisho's POV)
[Two Months Later]
Why? Why does he feel so bad every time he looks at his boys? He is not the one in the wrong here…so then why does he feel like the evil villain impeding on the happiness of the protagonists of some sordid fairy tale. It has been almost three months since he was forced to kick his own son out of his house in order to protect the virtue of his remaining child. He really thought things would get better…but he was drastically mistaken.
Inuyasha has been brooding around the home in a state of absolute depression ever since his brother packed his few belongings and moved out. The ex-lord did not honestly go anywhere in his opinion. He is only two houses down but looking at how miserable they appear Sesshomaru may as well have moved to another planet. Now the father of two is no cruel man, he did not forbid his children from talking to or seeing each other. Sesshomaru is allowed one supervised visit a week. As expected, at first the brass former mafia lord was outraged at such parameters. He challenged his authority and so Inutaisho effectively told him it is either his way or no way at all. Only when the man changed the locks to his front door and started joining Inuyasha for lunch at school did Sesshomaru take him seriously. Inutaisho has even gone as far as walking him to and from school. Once his eldest son, got the picture they settled into their tension free but somber routine.
Monday through Friday he walks Inuyasha to school, aligns his work lunch break so that he can go to the school to eat with him, goes back to work, and then gets off in time to walk the boy home. On Saturdays he eats breakfast with him, takes him to his two-hour therapy session, and then usually, as a reward, he takes him to see a movie, or they go to an amusement park or something of that nature. Sundays are obviously the days Inuyasha looks forward to the most. Sesshomaru comes over around lunch time and Inutaisho allows him to stay well past dinner time—under his watchful eye, of course.
If the two so much as try to hold hands, he cuts the evening short and politely shows the elder of the two to the door. The two have learned not to touch each other at all, not so much as a hug.
Up until the last few days the single father had thought he was doing an excellent job of securing his children's wellbeing…but why does it feel like he is becoming the bane of their existence?
"Otosan."
The middle aged man starts when his teenaged son stares at him from the hallway. He had been sitting at their table clutching a cup of coffee, which has long since gone cold, and seriously contemplating the future. "Ah yes Inuyasha? Sorry I didn't see you there."
"Its fine. I was just coming to tell you that if we don't leave soon, we'll be late for therapy…"
"Right, thank you, I'm coming now." He pours the forgotten drink down the drain and leaves the house with Inuyasha in tow. It is a fifteen-minute walk to the building and Inutaisho's concern is only heightened when the normally hyper teen remains mute. The boy looks the way he has been the last few weeks—lonely, melancholy, and utterly lost.
"So erm, Inuyasha?"
"Hai…" He does not even bother looking at the taller man.
"Eh…how are classes going?"
This prompts Inuyasha to give him a cynical side glance. "…Tosan…You come to the school three times a day. I know you talk to my teachers all the time."
"Right…I guess that was a pretty superfluous thing to ask. According to your teachers, you've finally stopped fighting and your grades are on the rise." The boy only offers an indifferent shrug as a response so the elder continues. "I am really proud of you son."
"Thanks dad…" The dejected teen is most certainly going through something. Just weeks ago, hearing such words from him would have lit the boy's eyes with pure joy and self-pride but now all he can see is…emptiness.
"Inu—"
"We're here." He cuts him off by holding the door open and motioning for him to enter. Giving in with a sigh he enters the dimly lit building and makes himself comfortable in the waiting room. Before Inuyasha can take a seat; a door opens, and the doctor emerges from the quaint little office.
The young doctor is no older than his eldest son and no taller than Inuyasha. Inutaisho was not so sure about the young carefree doctor at first, but it seems Inuyasha genuinely gets along well with the blue-eyed young man. "Good morning Inutaisho-san." He offers a brief greeting before focusing his attention on the despondent boy in front of him, "And Inuyasha, how are we today my friend?" To neither of their surprise the teen only offers a simple shrug of his shoulders for a reply. "I see, why don't we step into the office for a nice chat?" Again the ponytailed professional receives no verbal response, but Inuyasha does follow him into the one other room in the one-story building.
Inutaisho settles down into one of the plush loveseats in the waiting area and reaches out for a magazine out of the pile stacked neatly on the coffee table. He can only sigh when, as usual, the 'reading materials' available consists of bikini issues and women's underwear catalogs. He spends about thirty minutes absentmindedly flipping through page by page of half-naked women before finally giving it a rest. No matter how much he tries to avoid it, his thoughts keep wondering back to the situation at hand.
What can he do? All he desires in this life is what is best for his son—both of them. He already believes himself an inadequate parent for failing Sesshomaru the way he did, he cannot fail Inuyasha as well! How could he ever forgive himself? Thanks to his parenting—or rather lack thereof, his first-born child turned to a life of crime and sin…and then as if that were not enough, at the tender unripe age of nineteen he gave him the monumental task of raising a child!
Inutaisho can only sigh up at the slow revolving ceiling fan as his regrets consume him. He cannot under any circumstance fail his remaining son. He thought he knew how to keep the brash teen safe and happy but…what really is the best for Inuyasha? As a father what is he to do? Continue forcing the teen to live a protected, sheltered life but cause him to spiral into possible depression? Or is he to secure his happiness by allowing him to be manipulated and forced into a moral-less existence?
He startles suddenly when the door swings open without warning. "Yes Inuyasha, I do believe that would be a good idea."
"Right." Inuyasha takes his offered hand in a handshake as they join the elder in the waiting room. His suspicions are proven correct when he glances at the wall mounted clock to see it has in fact only been one hour.
"Erm." The doctor anticipates his confusion and attempts to placate him with a reassuring smile.
"Inutaisho-san, I hope you do not mind, but I would like to spend this last hour speaking to you."
His eyebrow arches at that. He has never shared any conversation past idle chit chat with the therapist, but it has been a while since Inuyasha started therapy. It may be beneficial to get a progress report by this time. "Sure if you think it necessary."
"I believe it would be beneficial."
"Very well." He spares a contemplative glance at Inuyasha who is now flipping through one of the risqué magazines with little to no interest before making up his mind. "Inuyasha."
"Yes dad?" As usual his tone is lacking in any real emotion and he does not bother looking at him.
"Do you think I could trust you to go straight home and nowhere else?"
That definitely gets his attention because he straightens up instantly and looks at him with barely contained surprise. "Yes! You can."
"…Very well, you do not have to wait. Go on home."
The doctor's head cocks to the side in a curious smile, making his gold earring twinkle in the overly bright room. "See you next week Inuyasha."
"Yeah." He nods and the two men watch as he shoves his hands into his pockets and barrels out the door. A moment of silence passes by before the younger smiles at the apprehensive older man at his side.
"Shall we move to my office then?"
"As you wish." Only when he steps into the quaint office does he realize he has never actually been in the unfamiliar room. The only source of light is being giving off by Christmas lights lining the walls. Smooth jazz plays quietly enough in the background that it could be easily ignored and the candles burning in the middle of the table makes the room smell like cinnamon buns. There is no desk, so he takes a seat in the plush armchair as the doctor settles into the one across from him. There is a lounge sofa one could lay on next to him and the table separates him from the doctor. On the table he finds more questionable magazines, a tissue box, candies, and the like. "So…" He dares when the young man in front of him only continues to smile and observe him. It is a bit unsettling to say the least. "What is this about doctor?"
"Please." He shakes his head as he picks up the notepad from his table. "Call me Miroku."
"Fine then Miroku, is everything alright?"
"Funny. That is what I wanted to ask you."
"Pardon?"
"Is everything alright with you Inutaisho-san? Everything going well at home?"
"Yes of course. Why do you ask?" At this point the single father is on guard and feeling a bit uncomfortable with being analyzed by someone young enough to be his son. "Did Inuyasha say something to indicate otherwise?"
"Inuyasha?" Those unsettling eyes seem to be scrutinizing every part of his being. "Now, why would you bring him up?"
"Eh? Why? Well obviously…"
"Obviously what?" The younger challenges, refusing to let him trail off with that unfinished thought. "I simply asked if everything was alright at home. If everything was alright with you. You are the one who decided to bring up Inuyasha."
"…"
Much to his annoyance the seemly smug doctor presses on. "Now why is that? Why when I bring up your wellbeing, you directly associate that with Inuyasha?"
"…"
"Are you not two separate—"
"Enough!" Miroku does not look the least bit surprised at his outburst, on the contrary he looks as though he was expecting it. "Why are we sitting here playing twenty questions? Of course I am bringing up Inuyasha because I was under the impression that we were going to talk about his wellbeing! I expect you to speak to me on his progress and tell me what is going on with him. Is it so bizarre for a father to be concerned about his son? A son that he is paying some brat doctor to fi—…to…"
"To fix?" At this point the young man's smile is finally gone but he does not look at all offended by the stern man's words.
"…"
"Now you have brought us to the crux of the problem. Inutaisho I am glad you have brought up this notion of fixing him. I thought my questions would cause you to reflect and invoke some emotions you may not have acknowledged before or voice out loud."
Okay…maybe this brat is pretty good. "…Excuse my rudeness. I do not usually fly off the handle like that. I have been sufficiently stressed out because of all this."
"No need." His smile is back but this time it looks more genuine and playful. "Dealing with Inuyasha, I am used to far, far worse. Besides, we are in fact going to discuss your son's condition because quite frankly I am concerned."
Against his conscious will, his mouth goes dry and his heart starts to hammer in his chest but when he speaks he remains perfectly calm. "And what might the cause of this concern be?
"Over the course of the last two months, I have observed a sharp decline in his mental and emotional health."
"I see."
"Let me give you a quick summary of our time together. When you first brought him to me, he was belligerent, brash, confrontational, and all around uncooperative." God damn it Inuyasha. "Honestly, the first four sessions he refused to talk to me at all and would come in here and take a two-hour nap."
"Hold on! Why did I pay you for those sessions then?"
"Ahahaha." His eyes narrow into dangerous halcyon slits when Miroku only provides a sheepish smile and shrug of his shoulders. "Let us say we were building therapeutic rapport. Building trust, you see."
"Mmm."
"Anyway, after we got over a few rough patches he began speaking to me about all kinds of things: life with you now and life with you before his mother passed, life with Sesshomaru, his plans for the future, and the like."
"I see. Did you discuss his relationship with Sesshomaru?"
"Of course we did. Most days I would just listen to him go on and on about him but…"
"But…?" All the doctor is managing to do is worry the middle age man even more than he already was. When Miroku sighs, his body tenses at the millions of horrible scenarios that filter through his mind about his son's mental state.
"Look I am going to be straitlaced with you…client confidentiality is usually an absolute with me, but I am going to disregard that for your sake and Inuyasha's sake. And the fact that he is a minor gives me a little leeway on confidentiality anyway. To be blunt with you, Inuyasha is becoming more and more depressed as they days go on. I fear if nothing is done about it he may need to be evaluated to receive a more…permanent diagnosis suggesting as much."
"I do not understand. In the beginning he was not like this, why is he progressively getting worse?"
"It is simply because he is losing the will to fight. He tells me he feels like a prisoner in his own home."
"A prisoner…" All he can think about is their daily schedule…could he be going overboard with his protectiveness? Yes, probably but that is something that could be modified! It is not too late. He does not want to cause Inuyasha a life of depression. This is terrible.
"Yes, I am sure I do not have to tell you about an average day for him because you are in complete control of that. He feels like he is in zero control of his life which, you tell me, is it true?"
"To be perfectly honest yes, it may be true. He does not get to make many choices, but I deemed it necessary for the situation at hand. I do not plan on keeping this up forever."
"I can understand the logic behind your actions, but I do not think you realize that it is essential for a person, especially a teenager, to be allowed to make decisions for themselves. If not, you are impeding on their independence, on their sense of being in control of their own life, and their ability to develop sense of self. You say you do not plan on keeping this up forever, so then how long exactly were you planning on doing this?"
"Just until…he got better."
"Until he got better huh? Do you know that he is desperately trying not to resent you?"
"Resent me?" He can feels his heart hammering away again and it is a wonder how he manages to hear the brunette's next words.
"We started talking about that recently. He says that he does not want to end up being bitter at you the way Sesshomaru is. He loves you a lot and he respects you and he used to look up to you more than anyone, however he has found himself slowly becoming more and more distant from you. And what is harder for him to accept is the fact that he no longer has a desire to close that gap."
Inuyasha…
"A few weeks ago, he told me he started to feel ashamed because of the way he believes you view him. He feels that perhaps you feel that he is this corrupt, disgusting, shameful thing that needs to be fixed. But he told me that every time he gets to see Sesshomaru, he cares a little less about your opinion of him. That seeing Sesshomaru builds his confidence back up and makes him feel like a worthwhile person."
"…"
"Do you know what I am saying?" He does not bother pausing to allow the shocked man to give an answer. "Effectively I am saying that the way you treat him lowers his self-esteem and makes him feel less than, whereas Sesshomaru manages to keep him strong and from spiraling into self-hatred."
This is much worse than anything he could have prepared for. He is practically being told that he is the one destroying his son. He is the bad guy.
Miroku seems to notice the distraught look on his face and sighs before running a hand through his mussed up hair. "Inutaisho-san I have been thinking of a way to put all of this delicately because I do not want you to blame yourself for the way Inuyasha thinks. Despite the intent behind actions and words, teenagers tend to internalize any ounce of perceived criticism and efforts to help them. You must understand that no one is blaming you."
"I see…"
Another sigh escapes him and he stands for a moment to get a bottle of water which the single father gratefully accepts. "Would you like to take a break before we switch gears a bit? For now I want you to reflect on everything before you think about your next course of action."
"No…no break just continue."
"Alright well the next thing I want to bring up is the fact that about a month ago, Inuyasha was making moves to be emancipated."
"What?!"
"Relax, he has long since abandoned that plan. I spoke to him realistically about how he has no bearings to emancipate himself and how the court system will never rule in his favor. Especially considering his history of delinquency in school. Of course, this was not enough to deter Inuyasha, but Sesshomaru was the icing on the cake. He is the one who really convinced him not to do that. Sesshomaru told him that he would be very angry with him if he did that and that Inuyasha should stay with you."
Sesshomaru did that? Why? Wouldn't he be all for Inuyasha emancipating himself? They would be able to live as they like without him being able to do nothing about it.
"After coming to that conclusion, Inuyasha has decided that he will stay with you but on his eighteenth birthday he is leaving without delay. He mentioned to me that he hopes that by then the relationship between you and him and you and Sesshomaru improves but…if not he says he has no choice but to cut you out of his life."
"…"
"Trust me, he does not want to but he feels as though he has no other choice."
"…And ceasing this inappropriate relationship with his older brother is not a viable option to him?" Why can't Inuyasha understand that he is only trying to protect him.
"Erm I know that is why you initially enlisted my help but I do not see that happening."
"And why not? Surely this is just some unhealthy infatuation. Some weird phase that Sesshomaru has manipulated him into."
"Hm…for one, let me tell you that I recommend revaluating your attitude towards your eldest son."
"What?"
"After countless conversations with Inuyasha, I get the feeling that you think of Sesshomaru as some benevolent corrupt being with no hopes of achieving anything good."
"T-That's not true! I just…he…" Does it really seem that way?
"Don't get me wrong, I believe you care about him every bit as much as Inuyasha but you overestimate him. Although much older than Inuyasha, he is also an adolescence. He is just as impressionable as Inuyasha is. At first I would say sure Inuyasha probably developed some obsessive unhealthy relationship with him when he was younger but now he seems perfectly aware of his feelings. He no longer revers Sesshomaru as some God on earth and looks at him more as a partner he wants to spend his life with. No different than the feelings you have shared with your wives."
"This is absurd…you expect me to believe that I am in the wrong here for not wanting my sons to share a romantic relationship? Is there not a question of morality here? Let us just say that for a moment I believe that those two actually…have strong feelings for each other. Am I supposed to allow things to spiral out of control in the name love? Let's be realistic."
"Yes let us be realistic." His soft calming tone suddenly turns serious and firm. "The reality is yes their relationship is inappropriate. Are they hurting anyone? No. Can you stop them? Only for so long. Will their feelings suddenly disappear? Doubtful. The reality is you cannot control them. You can continue on with this life you have set for Inuyasha and allow him to grow to truly resent you and when he comes of age leave you behind to pursue his relationship with Sesshomaru anyway."
"…Or?"
"Or you can stop being so oppressive and repair your broken bonds with them both. Do you have to approve of their relationship? No. Support it? No. But at this point you have no choice but to tolerate it unless you want no parts of their life anymore."
"…"
"And no, you are not in the wrong for disapproving of their relationship. However, their bond is so deep rooted that clinical intervention is not going to do much. I would day the best course of action would be on you repairing your relationship with each one of them. That way, when their relationship fails—or if, rather, you can be there to support them and perhaps at that point they will be more receptive to help." Again, Inutaisho can only sit there in silent disbelief. "That is all I have prepared to discuss with you. If you have anything you would like to—"
"No." He stands suddenly almost bumping into the table in the process. "I need to be getting home now."
….
Instead of going straight home, he instead travels two houses down to the most expensive and exquisite house in the neighborhood. After two sharp wraps on the door and a moment's pause, he finds himself face to face with his first born. "Sesshomaru…"
The silver haired look alike seems genuinely taken aback to find him standing there. "You. What do you want?"
"I need to talk to you about Inuyasha…"
As expected, the ex-lord's already harsh stare turns deathly cold. "Why? What is the problem now? I have not seen him outside your permitted supervised visits if that is what you are here to check—"
"I believe that. I am not here to—"
"Then there is no purpose for you to be on my door step, now is there?"
He feels the irritation rise in him as they glare each other down. In the past he has tried to have civilized conversation with Sesshomaru about the situation at hand but the arrogant man's biting quips always steered the 'conversation' into a heated stare down. But this time he knows he cannot allow himself to be sucked in, if he wants to get anywhere. "I would like you to come with me." He states after pausing to calm his nerves.
"No." The response is icy, but also expected.
"Inuyasha is at home—"
"But of course. You do not allow him off your leash to go anywhere else."
"And. I want us to all sit down together and clear this mess up once and for all."
"I—"Sesshomaru cuts whatever sarcastic remark he was going to say next to stare at his father in mild skepticism. "You want us to sit down together? All three of us? And talk?"
"That is what I said."
"…I do not see what there is to talk about." Even as he says this, he steps out of his house and turns to lock the door behind him. "But I suppose I can sit and listen to you two bicker all afternoon. It will be amusing."
"Right." The short walk to his home is expectedly silent and tense He occasionally glances at his firstborn from the corner of his eye, and as usual he feels the crippling remorse and guilt in his chest. The 'reformed' criminal walks with an air of dignified superiority and his face is devoid of all emotion besides cool indifference. Inutaisho knows that it is his fault Sesshomaru turned out the way he did. He should have fought harder for him. He should have known that Kazuna was not in her right mind to raise him to feel empathy and compassion. He cannot help feeling that there is nothing he can do about it now, but as Miroku said he really does want to fix his relationship with him. He just does not know how.
When he opens the door, Inuyasha is already seated in the quaint living room, mindlessly watching the TV. His previously dull eyes widen in understandable shock when he notices his father's company.
"Sesshomaru, why are you here?"
"Why indeed."
"Hah?"
"Inuyasha it's alright. I asked him to come." He cannot help but notice when Sesshomaru sits next to the teen on the loveseat, almost by instinct Inuyasha goes to lay his head on his shoulder but decides against it at the last moment. The silver haired elder settles himself in the armchair across from his boys before speaking again. "I wanted to try talking about this…situation with you both present. Every other time I have approached you two independently but that has obviously proven to be ineffective."
"What do you mean? You have already told us how you feel about this…so I don't know what else we would have to talk about." Although Sesshomaru remains quiet and impassive, it is obvious that the teen has voiced out his thoughts as well.
"Yes, well recently I have had a lot to think about, so I want to bring it up again. My concern and skepticism has not changed mind you. It is just…I have gotten some insight and I do not want you two to resent me, so the least I can do is try to understand. Previously I have never been willing to listen, but I am sorry for that and will try my best to understand whatever you have to say."
They understandably were not expecting the uptight older man to say anything like that. They glance at each other a moment, but then Sesshomaru leans back further in the seat and crosses his arms, having no intention of explaining himself. Seeing as the two stubborn old men will sit in perpetual silence for all eternity if given the chance, Inuyasha decides to be mature enough to speak. "Listen dad, I see what you are trying to do here, and I appreciate it but we are not exactly the sappy types. Neither of us would know what to say to convince you that what we feel is real…well maybe Sesshomaru would know what to say but he would never actually say it out loud."
"That just shows how serious you are for each other." Both of their eyes narrow when their father puts air quotes around the word serious. The intensity and quickness of the mutual double glower is staggering to say the least.
"No dad that just shows how closed minded you really are."
"What?"
"If you really knew us, you would know we are not the types to pledge our love for each other in the hopes of validating our feelings. I think we'd both rather die first." He glances over to his older brother who simply nods his agreement. "Just the thought of having to 'prove' ourselves to anyone is—is ridiculous!"
"…"
"I can say that no matter what challenges we face next, we are going to go through them together."
"Is that how you see me Inuyasha? As a challenge to overcome?"
"…"
To everyone's surprise the ex-lord finally says something. "It is your own fault really. I have done my best to stop him from begrudging you, but it seems like you go out your way to be overbearing and undo all my efforts." So Miroku was right? Sesshomaru has been on his side the whole time? "You are not the only one…who…" Sesshomaru's face scrunches up as if he is tasting bitter or as if it is paining him to admit this. "Care—takes Inuyasha's wellbeing into consideration. I allowed you 'order' me around without making a move because I do not want Inuyasha to…end up like me. There can only be one damn near perfect individual and that is this Sesshomaru."
Ignoring the extra fluff and bravado, Inutaisho nods his understanding. "I have recently become aware of that…It was never my intentions to oppress you two, it's just…I just want the best for you two and this seems like something that cannot be healthy for either one of you."
"Think of it this way. When you left us…." Sesshomaru pauses a moment before shaking his head slightly and sneering. "When you left mother, many were opposed to it and thought it was wrong that you ended up with Inuyasha's mother. People shunned you and tried to convince you otherwise. They told you it was wrong and that she was only using you because she wanted you to take care of her."
He is not wrong. When the widower married Izayoi many people were completely against them. In those dark moments they only had each other and although it hurt to be shunned by friends and family, they were always happy because they had each other…Is that what Sesshomaru is trying to get him to realize? That the feelings he shared with his dear wife is no different than the feelings they have for each other? There is nothing but conflict raging in his heart and mind but nonetheless he speaks with conviction when he responds. "I see what you are getting at…Although I still do not approve of this…relationship." He cannot help but notice how his teen son's head dips at this declaration. "I can say that I comprehend it…in a way…to a degree. I do not want you two to suffer the same pain I did when I had to make that decision all those years ago so…I think I can let go of my skepticism for now and try to understand a bit more."
"Does that mean…?" And just like that Inutaisho can see the spark of life back in his eyes. The despondent teen looks so hopeful and happy there is just no way he can backtrack now. Even Sesshomaru is glancing at him, hiding whatever he may be feeling with a cold curious glance.
"Yes. I will leave you be for now. I will no longer escort you to and from school. No more supervised visits. You can see him whenever you want and Sesshomaru…"
"…What is it?"
"You are welcome here anytime you please."
"Hmph."
"Sesshomaru did you hear that?" Inutaisho blinks in surprise at the look he finds on Inuyasha's face as he looks up at his eldest son. He looks so happy…so enamored?
"Of course, I heard. I have been sitting right here the entire time."
"You should spend the night." He proposes, ignoring the man's sarcastic remark.
"And why would I do that? Stay in this little tacky hobble when I have my first-class home to return to?"
"Because I want you to." The reply is so blunt and stated so matter of factly that Inutaisho must wonder where the boy gets his brashness and confidence from.
"Tch…Whatever. As you wish." As the child breaks out into a grin, he adds on a bit hastily. "Only tonight mind you. This will not be a regular occurrence."
"Mhm sure." Sesshomaru can only scowl when he wraps his arms around his neck with a smug look on his face. "Hey, maybe I'm the one who 'manipulates' you?"
"Don't get ahead of yourself."
"Either way, you are stuck with me forever yeah?"
"Hmph…."
Inutaisho cannot help but notice the way his eldest son's eyes soften as he stares at the teen practically in his lap. It really is familiar. He used to give that same exact look to Izayoi when she was alive…hell he even used to look at Kazuna like that once upon a time. There is something so genuine about it.
Just as he was about to heave a resigned sigh, he notices how the expression on their faces intensify and how the distance between their faces is becoming increasingly non-existent. It dawns on him what they are about to do just as the tips of their noses touch. "NO!"
The brothers jump in shock as the usually composed man throws himself out of the chair with and arm outstretched, a look of pure horror and alarm on his face. "God no! Don't do that in front of me. Ever." Inuyasha can only laugh as the hand goes to cover his hammering heart. "Please. Unless you want to send your dear old dad into cardiac arrest, do not do it." Sesshomaru cracks an amused smirk as the man stands and decides to go for a walk.
There is only one question on his mind as he strolls through his neighborhood. Forever huh?
