Obi-Wan woke late that day. Checking the mirror in his room he smiled, he no longer radiated with the force but still felt it, the force feels like a warm ball in my chest, his smile grew wider, I feel ready for anything today.

He left his room to join his Master who was meditating. Obi Wan jolted when entering shocked, I can feel his distress.

Obi-Wan immediately dropped down next to his Master; maybe I can help, and pushed his sense of peace toward Qui-Gon.

"Obi-Wan" Qui-Gon said as he opened his eyes. Obi-Wan watched as Qui-Gon's eyes slowly went from turmoil to tranquil. While Obi-Wan was deeply relieved at seeing him settled.

"Master" Obi-Wan replied dipping is head in respect. He always enjoyed showing Qui-Gon his appreciation for being chosen Padawan. Qui-Gon initially had no desire for an apprentice after Xanatos but after a few pushes from Obi-Wan, Yoda and the force itself Qui-Gon relented, and Obi-Wan would never forget his relief of not being a failed initiate outsourced to the Agricorps. Then Obi-Wan had chosen to be part of the revolution on Melida/Daan and left the Jedi order; after returning to the order Qui-Gon took him on as his Padawan again, and it was for this Qui-Gon truly had his eternal gratitude.

Qui-Gon interrupted his thoughts "We have much to discuss, Obi-Wan." Obi-Wan opened his mouth to apologize but Qui-Gon raised his hand to stop him. "We have been given a mission from the Council, you will have time to apologize to your friends later, now we must prepare."
