*(A/N): Hey guys… I'm sorry it took me so long to update this story and you deserve an explanation…

I've been going through depression a lot lately and caused me to have difficulty writing this chapter. But luckily I'm doing much better now. But I'm not going to lie to ya, I was also really reluctant about updating this story now that season two is out and focuses more on the White Fang which is a huge factor in this story. I actually considered canceling this story and deleting it, but after thinking deeper into the subject I decided to continue writing and just label this story an "AU" from now on.

I have two more announcements at the end, but before that I want to encourage you guys to read my latest story "What We Do For Love". I admit I over criticized it and think you guys would like it. It's pretty much the same characters in this story in our world and you get to see them in a whole new perspective.

Any way, I'm back and I hope you enjoy!*

Who am I?

~ Weiss Schnee

Is Cold…

She was able to her breath in the cold night air. Her breathing was heavy and her cheeks were warm being covered by a scarf. Her eyes stared to narrow as she saw a group of girls approach her with a big brown bag. She already knows what they wanted and she knew she would instantly refuse them.

"Hey there…" Said the girl wearing a red hood. "How are you doing today?"

"Just fine without you." Weiss said with venom lacing every word.

"Oh…" Said the same girl with a sad tone. "Well, we brought you some things."

"They will help you out here." Said the girl wearing a black bow. "We got you some clothes too."

"They say there is a good chance of snow tonight." Said a girl with wild gold hair. "It would be smart if you put on the jacket we got you."

Weiss turned her head away. "No, I don't need these things from you."

All three girls gave a sad look, the one in the hood was about to speak before she was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

"It would be wise of you to take it princess."

The girl with blonde hair narrowed her eyes as she spoke. "You… What are you doing here?"

The new girl slightly curved up the edges of her lips, the only thing you were able to see on her hood covered face. "Hey there Goldilocks! You still hate me I see!"

"Of course I'm still mad!" Yelled the blond. "Who wouldn't be after what you did to Blake!"

Now it was time for the black bowed girl to speak up. "Yang, I told you it was a misunderstanding!"

The girl named Yang then turned to face Blake. "Yeah, the first time! But for it to happen twice is-"

"Enough!"

Yang then turned to face the red head. "Ruby?"

"We came here to offer this girl food, not to fight with someone else." Ruby said as she turned around and started walking away. "She doesn't want our help, so there's no use staying."

Yang and Blake looked at each other with a sad expression before quickly catching up with Ruby. They walked past her and Ruby momentarily stopped and looked back at Weiss with longing in her eyes and mouthed three words she couldn't understand and a single tear fell from her eye. The girl turned and continued walking, however Weiss still watched her.

"Why did that girl feel so familiar?"

"Here, this should help you." Said the hooded girl handing the heiress a small wad of cash.

Weiss glared at the girl and smacked the money out of her hand. The girl was taken aback and Weiss thought she saw something move under the hood. The girl got down on one knee to be eye level with Weiss and took of the hood. On top of the girl's head two wolf ears sprang up and Weiss saw a wolf tail under her cloak and noticed sharp fangs when she spoke.

"Why didn't you take the money?" Asked the wolf faunus.

Weiss turned her head away and tilted her nose upward. "I don't want people's pity, especially from someone like you!"

The girl looked a little hurt but didn't say anything so Weiss continued. "Do you even know who I am? You are looking at Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company!"

Weiss noticed the faunus' ears slightly perk up from that. "Nice to meet you, Weiss! My name is-"

"I do not wish to know your name!" Weiss interrupted with a cold tone. "I do not even wish to be acquainted with the likes of you."

The faunus looked even more hurt than she did before. Finally the girl stood and started to walk away. She stopped and glanced back about to say something but changed her mind and continued walking.

Weiss leaned her head back to rest against the wall and her eyes soon grew too heavy for her to stay awake.

Everyday it grew colder and colder and every day when she woke up she would find something new right in front of her. The first day it was a bowl of tomato soup with a freshly made grilled cheese sandwich, the next day was a white scarf, and the day after that was a white fur jacket. As appealing these gifts were, she didn't take them, she knew who they were from.

"First I had to deal with those annoying girls and now a filthy faunus. When will this torture end?"

She stood up to go walk around town but she was only able to take one step. She hadn't eaten in days and the fatigue finally caught up to her. The world around her started to fade out and she lost her balance, she thought for sure she would land in the snow and was surprised when she didn't.

She felt a strong arm wrap around her waist and hold her up. Weiss' vision was too out of focus to see who it was, but soon she felt something heavy and warm drape over her shoulders. The last thing she remembered was someone lifting her up before her world went dark.

She woke up with a start in a place she was unfamiliar with. She looked around the room and instantly wished she didn't. From what Weiss could tell she was in an abandoned warehouse, the building itself was old and run down the windows where cloudy with dirt and there was a good sized hole in the roof about twenty feet away from her.

She saw a fire underneath the hole in the roof with a pot on top of with a person tending what was in the pot. Weiss shifted to stand up when something heavy slipped off of her lap. She looked to see what the object that fell was and saw a beautiful blue cloak.

"You should stay in bed." Said the wolf faunus.

Weiss was surprised by the sudden break of silence and began questioning. "Where am I?"

The faunus looked all around the building and raised her arms. "This is my home."

Weiss eyed her carefully not satisfied with her answer. "Why are you doing this to me anyway?

The faunus looked at Weiss as if she was crazy. "Aren't we the same?"

Now it was Weiss' turn to look oddly at her. "No, we're not. I'm a human and you're a faunus."

"And yet we are both homeless…"

Weiss gave her a blank stare. "Why are you helping me after I was so mean to you?"

The faunus had a flash of sadness spread across her face but just as quickly gave a small smile, however there was still glimpse of grief in her eyes. "You remind me of someone I used to be very close to. We grew up in a small town outside the kingdoms together and when I left she came with me…"

Weiss became slightly saddened but wanted to know more. "You two ran away together?"

The faunus shook her head. "I was chased out of town, she wasn't there when it happened so she tracked me down and we used to live here together."

"'Used to'?" Weiss thought when she noticed the faunus use past tense. "What happened to your friend?"

The fake smile the faunus had completely vanished. "…She and I had too much faith in me… I thought I could protect her but in reality I couldn't… I don't want that to happen to you…"

The air grew heavy and silent. Weiss couldn't stand it so she spoke.

"I told my parents I didn't want to be their heiress… I don't want to take over the company and instead become a singer. My parents didn't take it well and disowned me…"

The faunus walked over to Weiss and gave her a slight hug. "I'm so sorry, but I think you did the right thing. Doing what society tells you is just a huge pain, that's why I got ran out of town, I didn't agree with society."

Hearing that from the faunus made the used to be heiress feel a bit better. They ate what the faunus cooked and talked for what seemed like days but was only hours. The faunus asked Weiss to stay with her for the night but Weiss declined and said she was going to head back to her ally way.

Weiss exited the abandoned building and walked thirty yards when a man grabbed her from behind and held a knife to her neck.

"Give me all your money now, before my hand 'accidentally' slips." The man said in a harsh tone.

"Oh no, he wants money but I don't have any! What do I do?!"

Weiss thought her life was going to end for sure, but then a familiar voice boomed not far from her. "LET HER GO!"

The man then let go of Weiss and faced the faunus. The two of them struggled to get a hold on each other while Weiss watched in fear.

Finally, the faunus grabbed the man's head and with all her strength pulled him in closer to head but him, the man freaked out and with the knife stabbed her in the rib cage. However, with the combination of the girl's inhuman strength and the sudden jerk caused by the wound there was a loud sickening CRACK and the man fell to the ground with his eyes full of fear and his neck bent at an impossible angle.

The girl doubled over and Weiss ran to her side. The girl smiled when she saw Weiss and spoke.

"At least I was able to save a friend this time, but I'm afraid it will also be the last."

Weiss was taken back a bit. "A 'friend'?"

The faunus' smile faltered a bit. "Are we not?"

Weiss quickly shook her head. "No, we are… What is your name?"

The girl's eyes were starting to flutter shut and her speech was beginning to slur. "Okami… Okami K-Kiba…"

Weiss looked at Okami's wound and by the looks of it she had a punctured lung and lost a lot of blood… She was going to die soon…

Weiss started to cry but gave a friendly smile to ease Okami. "O-Okami… Being able to call you my friend has made me the most grateful person in the world. You understood me when no one else did."

Okami's eyes were now over half way closed and she gave a small kind smile. "You baka… That's…wat friens are…supposta do…"

Weiss was now beginning to worry even more. "Okami?"

Okami didn't respond, her eyes were completely closed and she spoke her last breath saying "Ai". Her lips were slightly turned upwards showing that she was happy.

Weiss cried harder than she had ever cried before. She sobbed into Okami's chest and her eyes became bloodshot. She was in complete despair when she heard a familiar voice.

"Quit crying princess, it's time for you to be woken up by your prince!"

Weiss shot her head up to see Okami standing in front of her then looked back down to see the girl that was in her arms had vanished. She looked back up to she Okami turn and run so she quickly ran after her into a thick mist and Weiss' world had turn white before everything became dark.

"What is this warm sensation I'm feeling?"

Weiss' eyes fluttered open to see Ruby kissing her on her lips causing her to sit up with surprise.

Ruby started crying tears of joy and threw her arms around her. "Weiss! God, Okami is right! You really are Snow White!"

Weiss hugged her back and asked the important question. "Ruby, where are the others?"

At that moment a loud hysteric voice started shouting causing the two girls to jump. "YANG, PLEASE! GET UP! PLEASE YANG!"

Weiss and Ruby looked at each other and nodded.

"…Blake…"

*(A/N): What could have possibly happen to Blake?! FIND OUT NECT CHAPTER! XD

Now, about those announcements…

I want to have another game. This time, I want you guys to take the members of team RWBY and team OKAY and compare them to their counterparts in "What We Do for Love". I want to see how they are BOTH similar or alike and what their greatest "fear" is. Do at least four or all six but Okami and Ai will be a bit tricky… First person to put it into a review wins a special prize!

I had only ONE friend request on facebook and two followers on twitter but only ONE person has asked a question. So I'm going to try something different. When we reach the end of this story I will put up a bonus chapter that will answer any questions you might have so just leave it in a review. In the meantime, I have a PS3 so if anyone wants to message me on there my name is Okami-Kiba64. Also, if you have the game Destiny, I have a mic so we can do missions together and talk fanfiction that way.

That is all for now and I want to welcome all you guys back. Now I'll see you guys next time!
