Sorry about the delay, had some computer hardware problems.

When last we left, Sari had just rescued the new Tibetan Technorganic, Aang, from the clutches of Kālī. She managed to warp herself away from her evil twin, and warping again, snatch her new friend away from Starfury and Thunderbolt, bringing him and her far away to a distant mountain before collapsing.

We wind the story back a bit, at the other end, where Bulkhead was standing at the ground bridge console. Time frame, just prior to Kālī's arrival...

"Bulkhead, two to bridge."

"Roger, Sari," he replied, and immediately notified T:Prime Optimus. "Sari is returning; she's bringing someone."

"Acknowledged," he replied, and informed Agent Fowler and the Skystrikers.

"Woo hoo! She's back!" Yelled Miko. "I wonder who this new Technorganic is?"

"I guess we'll find out shortly," said Fowler, "let's get to the transport nexus." And they all rushed to Bulkhead's side. Unfortunately, when they arrived, all they saw was a closing ground bridge.

"Where is Sari?" Asked Optimus.

"She never came through," replied Bulkhead. "I opened the bridge to her location, and waited, but no one entered."

"Can you reach her?" Said Fowler.

"I tried, but she didn't respond."

"She could be in trouble!" Said Jack. "We have to go help her!"

"Sari told me that she was to be on this mission alone, comm silence, with absolutely no interference," Optimus replied. "We must respect her wishes."

"Even if her life's in danger? That's crazy!"

"I have to agree with Prime, Jack," said Fowler, "with her new powers, I doubt there's anything that could threaten her."

"So what do we do?"

"We wait," said Optimus.

"Aaargh! This bites!" griped Miko.

"Bulkhead, what are her vitals?" said Fowler.

The green TFA Autobot checked. "She's fine. Her signal is coming through. Wait! It's gone!"

"What?!"

"Oh, now it's back. No! It's gone again!"

""What in Uncle Sam's beard?"

"Hold on!" Said Raf, "maybe she's warping."

"She's back again!"

"I think you're right, Raf," said Optimus.

Several tense minutes elapsed. Bulkhead kept an eye on her signal. "It's a little weak, but slowly growing stronger," he said.

Then, a comm. "Bulkhead?"

"Sari?" He said, "Are you alright? I opened a ground bridge, but you never came through."

"We had a run-in with the Decepticons. We're safe now; OK to bridge."

Everyone sighed in relief! "Oh, man!" sighed Jack.

"Roger," said Bulkhead, and opened up a bridge. Sari stepped out with Aang.

"Welcome back," said Optimus. "It looks like your mission was a success."

Sari smiled. "Thank you. Everyone, please let me introduce Aang." She brought him up to the Prime. "Aang, this is Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots."

Aang bowed before him. "It is an honor, Optimus Prime," he said, in perfect Cybertronian.

"Welcome, Aang," he responded back.

Sari, although curious, was not completely surprised. Ben understood Cybertronian shortly after arriving at Area 51; he overheard some of the Autobots speaking it, and caught some by surprise when he started conversing. Even Miko could speak and understand it after her metamorphosis. Dataminer explained that the Technorganic processor was "naturally wired" for digital communication. Ben, of course, already had the language mod.

Sari introduced Aang to Fowler, expecting to act as an English interpreter.

"Aang, this is Agent Fowler," she said in his Tibetan dialog.

However, to her shock, Aang spoke to him in flawless English! He bowed. "An honor to meet you, Agent Fowler."

She looked at him, curious. "Aang?"

Aang apologized. "Forgive me, Sari, I neglected to mention; I can speak and understand any language. Master Gyatso often used me as an interpreter for foreign visitors to the monastery."

"So you have a language mod," she observed, smiling.

"I guess, so; if that's what it's called."

"Neat!" said Miko, and ran up. She bowed before him. "Konnichiwa!"

He bowed back. "'Hajimemashite,'" he replied.

Miko looked him over with a growing smile, her yellow eyes focusing more on the blue arrows on his chassis.

"Cool, those are some great tats!" she then walked around him, inspecting his wings "Neat!"

"Uh…" Aang smiled awkwardly under her scrutiny.

"Hello, Aang." Jack approached the new Technorganic, hoping a friendlier face would reassure him. "As I'm sure you've been told, you're one of us. I'm Jack, and the one checking you out like a piece of fresh meat is Miko."

"Ah, ah, Darby!" he replied.

"Yes," he smiled. "Welcome!" He offered his servo, and shook Aang's.

"Thank you, Jack!"

Ben came up. "Hey, Aang! I'm Ben, the new guy - well, not any more," he waved his servo.

"Hello, Ben," smiled Aang, waving back.

It was Raf's turn. He stepped up. "Welcome, Aang, I'm Raf. It's very nice to make your acquaintance."

"Thank you, Raf," Aang replied, shaking his hand. "Glad to meet you too!"

"These are just some of our friends." Sari continued the introductions, gesturing up. "Our bridge operator, Bulkhead from my dimension, though I call him Bulky."

"Hey there Aang!" the green lug waved his hand and Aang reciprocated in kind.

"And agent Fowler is our liaison with the US government, as well as the overseer of the Skystrikers." the Unit:E agent nodded. Aang gave a quick look all of them, lingering more on Sari, Jack and Miko.

Sari then spoke to her comrades. "Aang is a powerful flier and a promising Gakusei for Cyber-Ninja. He has some rudimentary control over P-O-M."

"I am certain Jazz and the Cyber-Ninja brothers will be glad to hear that," said Optimus.

"Speaking of Jazz, I may want to talk to him later." Sari recalled Kālī claiming P-O-M being invented by the so-called Creators. She had to know if what her evil twin said was true. "Moving on, I'm afraid I also bring bad tidings. First of all, Kālī has returned."

A lightning bolt of shock met that revelation! Even Optimus showed a bit of a reaction by frowning.

"H-how? We all thought that freak of nature bit the dust!" Fowler gasped.

"She didn't exactly die. When she came into contact with my orb, Kālī entered a split-dimension where she suffered for eternity with no escape." Sari resumed. "But now she's back and more powerful than ever. She claims she was rescued and upgraded by some group she refers to as her new masters."

"New masters?" asked Fowler, frowning.

"I'm afraid there's more. She claims these 'masters' aren't merely hers; they are mine...and Jack's and Aang's too."

"Our masters?" Jack, raising an optic, was puzzled.

Sari sighed. "Kālī was sent on a mission by some ancient race she has yet to disclose. She calls them 'The Creators', because, according to her, they created us Technorganics." this revelation was met with less shock but more silence. Even Aang was stunned.

And so Sari proceeded to tell a condensed version of the battle, including Kālī's words, displayed abilities and how Sari and Aang managed to escape.

"Maybe she was lying, Sari," TFA Bulkhead suggested.

"It could be, but I must be sure. Kālī indeed seemed different by the way she battled. She's no longer following orders from Megatron; the Creators tasked her to repossess all Technorganics for the purpose of bringing them back, claiming that we are their property".

"Their property?!" Fowler spat that out with disgust.

"That's the word she used for us, Agent Fowler," replied Sari.

"We're nobody's property, Sensei!" said Jack. Ben nodded.

"I understand, but we've got to deal with this regardless. Kālī is more calm and self-possessed now, but no less deadly."

Fowler heaved a heavy sigh. "Sweet Lady Liberty! Kālī was a doomsday menace before; now you're telling me she's smarter and stronger and operating under some kind of Extraterrestrial Fugitive Slave Act?" Optimus Prime took all this in, an angry stare growing on his face.

"If there's some good news, Agent Fowler, it's that Kālī no longer seems interested in harming humans. Her only objective is capturing her targets. Though she won't hesitate to use deadly force to accomplish it." Sari closed her optics, deep in thought before continuing. "Jack, if you please, look after Aang and give him a basic background on our base and activities," she sighed. "I have to meditate on this."

"Yes, Sensei."

"Sari, I can help," said Optimus. "Let me contact Cybertron's High Council Tower and the Teletraan-1's archivists. I will ask them to dig into the databases and search for any information about these Creators."

"Thank you, Optimus," she replied, and went back to the remote area of Area 51 to get into Zazen.

Ben approached Aang and put an arm around his shoulder. "So! Aang! Want the cook's tour?"

"Cook's...what?"

Jack sighed and shook his helm. "Let's just start with a walk around," he replied, and he and the rest of the team led the Tibetan Technorganic on an excursion around the Autobot base, all the while discussing the various Skystrikers' and Autobots' activities. Fowler watched them leave, then sighed to himself. "Another Technorganic, with many more to follow. Incredible! But Kālī's back! General Bryce is gonna freak!"

"Aang, just curious," asked Jack, "how did you fuel your 'bot' mode?"

"Ah," he replied, "at the monastery, we have a guest house, with an oil furnace. Shortly after I manifested my Technorganic side, I experienced a weakness. That was when I believed that I needed some kind of fuel."

"Hey! Just like me!" Said Ben.

"Yes. Master Gyatso recommended that I try the oil from the furnace tank. It worked!"

"Hmm," said Jack. "Two things. First, we should pay a visit to sick bay. In addition to giving you a Cybertronian examination, Minerva will want to clean your tank."

"Tank?"

"The storage container in your Technorganic chassis. It holds your energy supply. Minerva needs to clean it before you can begin taking the real Cybertronian fuel, known as Energon."

"I see. Thank you, Jack."

"Yeah, tank cleaning's a blast!" Grinned Ben.

Jack chuckled. "Then, after you've received your first Energon drink, we'll go to Bumblebee to arrange a regular schedule."

Sari was in Zazen, in deep meditation. While her body remained there, floating above the floor, her Spark was coming into contact with The Well. She was in the dark, and before her was the light of the well. The light morphed and took the shape of Alpha Trion, the last of the Primes before T:Prime Optimus.

"Alpha Trion." she bowed respectfully. "I need your wisdom."

"I am aware of what you intend to ask Sari. I can answer your questions - to an extent, though I cannot ensure your equanimity." Alpha Trion spoke cryptically. Sari didn't understand what he meant but decided to continue:

"I must know if what Kālī said is true; are we Technorganics created by some ancient alien species?"

"Yes." he responded. "Technorganics are indeed manufactured life-forms by a race even older than Cybertron. You and your brethren were built, Sari."

"And The Thirteen knew this all along?" she asked with a bit of an edge in her voice.

"Yes. We did not reveal this to you for two reasons. Because we believed it would be best for you to uncover the truth by your own means. And also because...we took an oath."

"An oath? To whom?"

"That, I'm afraid, I cannot say, for it would break the oath. But there are things that I can reveal." Alpha Trion raised his arms and the darkness began to morph into outer space. "There are races in the Universe billions of years older than us. They were already travelling the stars and shaping the Universe to their whims even before my brethren and I battled Unicron. After the War for Cybertron was lost and I became one with the Allspark, one of these primeval races came into contact with us. They asked for our help to nurture the Technorganics that would eventually be raised on Earth."

"Wait! Are you saying...an alien race actually contacted you, in the Well?...But, if they wanted to nurture us, why send Kālī to retrieve us? She has to be lying."

"Kālī spoke the truth, Sari. The Creators are not the same race that wants to develop your kind."

"But why did the Creators make us? Who are they? And who is this other alien race?" she persisted.

"I can tell you no more, Sari. I regret that. I can only tell you this; it is imperative that all Technorganics are discovered. Then wisdom will reveal itself."

Sari grew frustrated. "Forgive me, Alpha Trion, but these half-answers are unbearable," Sari said with a mixture of sadness, longing, and distress. "My entire life, I have yearned to know my true origins, the purpose of my life, and now, to come so tantalizingly close, only to have the door shut, is torturous."

"I am sorry," he replied. "I can only assure you that you will learn in due time."

"There is one more thing that I must tell you."

"Yes?"

"Beware, for Kālī has her own means of discovering Technorganics."

"So that is how she managed to show up in Tibet!"

And Alpha Trion faded from view. Sari was returned to the dark void.

The Cyber-Ninja exited the room and walked slowly down the hallway. Head down, an emptiness hung in her Spark. She was met by Aang in the hallway. He could sense a vague heaviness to her spirit.

"Sari?" He asked, "Are you alright?"

She looked up into his optics. "I'll be alright," she sighed. "I'm afraid I did not get all the answers I desired."

"Gyatso used to say when frustrated, eat an apple." Aang grinned. "He said that frustration won't get us any answers. So we might as well relax and think of something else. Nothing good will come out of frustration."

She gave a sober chuckle and continued. "I went into Zazen, and received important information from Alpha Trion," she explained. "Kālī is telling the truth: we Technorganics were manufactured by some ancient race! But, some other ancient race asked The Thirteen to...nurture us."

"Nurture? What does that mean?"

"Alpha Trion couldn't say! An oath prevents The Thirteen from revealing that. Even more so Aang, after hearing that, I wanted to know: Who are these so-called Creators that built us? What is our true destiny? Why are we here? Again, Alpha Trion couldn't say! No sooner was a door opened to me, when it was shut. All Alpha Trion could say was that wisdom will be revealed, and that I must find the remaining Technorganics before Kālī does. It is frustrating."

Aang looked at his new friend with compassion. "Sari, when you found me in the class, I was exhilarated! Do you remember my smile?"

She laughed quietly. "Well, it was a bit...goofy."

He laughed with her. "I'm sure! It's because, like you, I believed that my deepest yearnings were about to be satisfied! I too wanted to know where I came from; what my purpose was. Master Gyat...my father - told me I came from the stars." Aang looked down, seriousness on his face. "Sari, I wanted to know: why am I here? Then, when you said you didn't know, I was saddened, but if there is one thing that I have learned in my studies, it is this: patience is rewarded."

He looked back into her optics with reassurance. "Sari, have faith. I believe in you! You will find the answers, and I and the Skystrikers will be by your side."

She returned the young monk's glance, heartened. She put a servo on his shoulder. "Thank you, Aang, thank you," she smiled, "you are an inspiration to me!"

"Come, Aang! Time is of the essence! I must call a meeting of Optimus and the Skystrikers!"

"So it is true!"

"Yes, Optimus," Sari replied. "And that means I must redouble my efforts to locate the hidden Technorganics before Kālī; the race is on."

"So far, Teletraan-1's archivists have yet to uncover any references to 'The Creators' in their searches, although they continue diligently," he replied.

"Please let them know I deeply appreciate their efforts," said Sari. "Any information would be helpful. In the meantime, I must do my best to get to these hidden ones as quickly as possible."

"You can no longer do your retrieval alone, Captain," said Raf. "Once you have a confirmed location, you must let us help you."

"Absolutely! Said Ben. "We'll work together!"

"But how? When I arrive, I am still a kilometer or more away, and I have to use my new mods to find them."

"Sensei, we will do our best," said Jack. "I agree with Raf and Ben; I think it's the only way."

"Sari, Minerva has a portable Spark sensor which might work," said Optimus. "We can get others from Cybertron. It has a limited range, but let me consult with her on its precision. The Skystrikers might be able to utilize it in finding the hidden Technorganic once you've given Bulkhead the general coordinates."

"And what if they meet up with Kālī?" she responded, then turned to her team. "You will not be able to defeat her."

"We'll be fine!" said Miko. "I'll use all three of my heads."

"All three of your what?!"

"Oh, yeah," she replied, "you haven't heard. I have a new mod. I sprout two additional heads in Predacon mode."

Sari tilted her helm and raised an optic, staring at Miko for a moment.

"For real?"

"Yep! I trained on Cybertron. They shoot out plasma bolts - on their own!"

Stunned, all Sari could say was "Wow". She blinked slowly, then turned and said "Oo...kay; Optimus?"

The Prime smiled, then said. "Sari, I'm afraid I have to agree with your team. Given the urgency of the situation, I don't think there is any other way."

"Let me assist the Skystrikers," said Aang.

"I don't think that's wise," Sari replied. "You are too new, and untrained. You were nearly captured by Starfury and Thunderbolt."

"I understand. In what other ways can I help?"

"There are many things that need to be done here," she replied, "although eventually you will need to get some type of training on Cybertron that is in alignment with your values. Have you been examined by Minerva?"

"Yes. She cleaned out my tank," he smiled, "and gave me my first drink of...what is it called? Energon? Amazing!"

The Cyber-Ninja smiled. "Good. You will find that we have no lack of opportunities to help around here. I assume you've met with Bumblebee for your daily Energon intake."

"Yes I have."

"Very good. Return to his office; he can let you know of administrative things which need attention - I'm sure he'll appreciate the help!"

"Be glad to!" Aang smiled.

"Then we are all in agreement," she continued. "I will return to Zazen, and find the next several Technorganics. Now that I am experienced in the technique, I should be able to do it faster, and spread my sense out further to find more than one at a time. Skystrikers: when I exit the meditation room, be prepared to bridge to the locations!"

"Yes, Captain!" said Raf.

"On standby, Cap!" said Ben.

"We will be ready, Sensei!" said Jack.

"My extra heads will be all set to go!" smiled Miko.

Sari shook her head and chuckled. "Miko, I'm thinking, maybe you can come with me; I've got to see this three-headed mod of yours for myself, should the circumstances call for it."

Miko did a fist pump. "Boo yah!"

"I will have Minerva requisition additional handhelds," said Optimus.

Sari returned to Zazen, intent on locating additional hidden Technorganics. Time was of the essence; no doubt Kālī was now doing the same. During meditation, however, she received a sense that someone from The Well desired to speak with her. She allowed herself to be taken to the dark void. A shape morphed before her; she bowed before the Cyber-Ninja.

"Master Yoketron. It is an honor to be in your presence."

"Sari, The Thirteen have asked me to speak with you. I can help you understand one thing, and that is the origin of Processor-Over-Matter."

"Thank you, Master. Kālī said that The Creators invented it."

"That is true, Sari."

"But how? Every Cyber-Ninja believes that you were the originator."

"While it is true that I introduced Processor-Over-Matter to the Cyber-Ninja Corps, in fact, I did not develop it. Its knowledge was...infused in me."

"Infused? By whom?"

"By the Creators. Sari, I was abducted. I don't remember much of my capture, except that I was experimented on; I believe they thought that some of my genetic tendencies were...desirable. After I was returned, I discovered that I had this ability, and decided to pass it on to my Gakuseis."

"Master, could it be that some of your genetic material is in the Technorganics?"

"I do not know. But, if it were so, I would consider it a great honor."

"Farewell, my sister. Be strong!" His image faded from view, and Sari was returned to the void.

So Sari left the void to meditate; to locate more Technorganics. With experience gained from the last time, she spread her Spark even further, faster, not stopping once a hidden Technorganic was found. She kept going. She had to.

"What do you mean that Technorganic is still alive?!" Back on New Kaon, Megatron wasn't pleased. Starfury and Thunderbolt were reporting on their failure. Kālī wasn't present for she was no longer Megatron's lackey.

"I'm afraid so, Lord Megatron. And more powerful than ever, her chassis and mods were upgraded comparatively to Kālī's." Starfury was doing his best to summon his cool nature to prevent himself from squirming before the Decepticon lord. His partner was also struggling to present a collected façade. Starscream and Shockwave stood beside Megatron's throne. The scientist was still and calm as ever, though the seeker was clearly nervous, afraid that his master might suddenly turn his rage towards him. "She bridged herself right in front of Thunderbolt and snatched the target away from him."

Megatron clenched his teeth. He had approved the plan to create the TechnoCons as a means to tip the balance in his favor, given that only a Technorganic can defeat another. And now the tiny pest he wanted eradicated from the beginning had crawled back from the pit with even more power. It seemed like the Universe itself was conspiring against the Decepticon warlord!

"However, we learned something that might pique your interest." Starfury could sense Megatron's dark thoughts and tried to assuage them. "During the fight, Kālī spilled some intriguing information about her masters and her mission."

"And what might that be? I find myself in need of good news." the tyrant asked tensely.

"It seems these masters of hers are an ancient and powerful race that created all natural Technorganics. Kālī calls them 'The Creators'. And they tasked her to find and retrieve all the natural Technorganics on this planet, to be returned back into their hands."

When Starfury was finished, Megatron got up and looked to the top of the Chrysler Building thoughtfully. At the top was Kālī, again attempting to find more Technorganics. He turned to the cyclops scientist and questioned:

"What do you think of this theory, Shockwave?"

"Given how powerful Technorganics are, logic dictates these Creators would have to be a primeval and very advanced race, one of those that developed long before our own was given birth. It would also explain how they were able to rescue Kālī from the split-dimension."

Megatron hummed to himself before turning back to the distant Kālī. He remained like that for half a minute and looked at his military second-in-command:

"Starscream, have Soundwave make a thorough research in our historical archives. During the Exodus, our scattered forces made contact and battled many other alien races. These Creators could have been one of them."

"At once, my liege!"

"Shockwave, I want you to develop a way to secretly obtain Kālī's CNA. That might give us a clue to her powers and origins."

"Acknowledged, Lord Megatron."

Oh, and Starscream, one other thing; I have a task for Blackout."

"Yes, my lord?" his lieutenant approached the throne with curiosity.

"Let us test those Regulans Optimus has called on for assistance. Have Blackout arrange an attack across the Hudson River, north of their camp. First, with an armada of Vehicons to draw them out. I want to see them in action. Then, when they form in their packs, slashing at the Vehicons, let Blackout lead an aerial attack."

"Ah! Very good, my liege!" said Starscream. "Bring out the furred ones, then take them out from the sky," he smiled evilly.

"Let it be...a just punishment for the Autobot's taking down Blackout's symbiotic companion Scorponok." said Megatron.

"Lieutenant! We are under attack!" Yelled the sentry. "Decepticons cross the river!"

"Sound the alarm!" Said T'Resh, and the Regulan battalion left their barracks, heading toward the Jersey shore.

"What's the drill, T'Resh?" Asked Hound, seeing all the commotion.

"Decepticons attacking from the east."

"Mind if I join ya? I could go for a few 'con scalps."

"Come join the hunt!" He replied, and let out a fierce roar, which was met by those around him. Hound pulled out his plasma guns. "Yeah, buddy! Let's rock!"

The Vehicons descended on New Jersey in droves, coming across from the George Washington Bridge. T'Resh and his brigade sped up to meet the invasion, while Hound transformed into his military vehicle alt mode and sped up the New Jersey Turnpike.

The Decepticon forces blasted the oncoming attackers, but it was like trying to blast a swarm of hornets. Hound, drifting to the left, transformed while in motion and rolled on the pavement. He pulled out his plasma guns, taking out one Vehicon after another, yelling, "I've got your left flank covered, T'Resh! Hit 'em on the right!"

From the Nemesis, Blackout and Starscream watched the battle. "The fat Autobot has joined the Regulans," said Blackout, "change of plans?"

"Why change our plans?" Sneered the Seeker, "when we can add him to the tally?"

"If you want me to engage both the cats and that Autobot, I want reinforcements," he countered.

"Oh for...you're afraid of one measly round Autobot?!" Spat Starscream.

"You've never fought Hound!" Yelled Blackout, pointing to the monitor. "Look at him!" They watched as Ben's favorite warrior ran, jumped, and rolled, all the while yelling encouragement and constant battle Intel to the Regulan troops around him, firing every type of weapon and lobbing grenades at the Vehicons.

"He is quick on his pedes for one quite so round," chuckled Starscream.

"Quick on his...? Do you SEE what he is doing?!" They watched at one point when Hound suddenly disappeared under the highway. "What in blazes is he doing?" said Starscream. The Autobot reappeared on the other side of the road and ran back to the Regulan troops, firing at the Vehicons over his shoulder, all the while yelling, "Get down! Get down!" Suddenly, the section of the road where the Vechicons were standing blew up under them, and they fell into the murky waters of Overpeck Creek.

"That damned Autobot's a one bot army!" griped Blackout.

"Oh, fine!" Complained the Seeker, "if he frightens you so, I'll go with you."

The minute a team of Regulans got within 5 meters of a Vehicon it was all over. The leader would jump straight up at his chassis, and with a metallic ringing sound, unsheath the razor-sharp claws on his gauntlets, planting them on the Decepticon's Spark chamber. A mighty roar, and the Spark would be ripped out. The entire operation took less than 5 seconds. His troops would follow suit, unsheathing their gauntlets and ripping the robotic creature to shreds, leaving nothing for Megatron or his underlings to recover. When it was over, the leader would hold the extinguished Spark up for Laserbeak to record.

"Disgusting savages!" Spat Starscream, observing this ritual. "Let's get this over with!"

Hound and T'Resh got together after the battle. "That was too easy, bro," the Autobot told him. "Somethin' ain't right."

"Agreed," said T'Resh, surveying the aftermath. "Why would Megatron send just Vehicons? To him they're cannon fodder."

They soon got their answer. "Incoming!" Yelled the sentry, it's "Blackout and Starscream!"

The Decepticons fired on the warriors as they approached, with missiles and Blackout's heavy machine guns.

"Take cover!" Yelled Hound, as the Regulans were forced to scatter. Sadly, many were hit by the initial volley, and lay wounded or dead. Hound ran ahead and placed himself between the Decepticons and his companions, firing everything he had at the airborne enemy. "Eat this, assholes!"

"Oh, look, there's your fat friend," Starscream told Blackout, "take him down!"

"Get out the sonic weapon!" T'Resh yelled to his troops, and from their side packs, the Regulans readied their new device.

"Hound! Get down!" Warned T'Resh.

"Huh?" He turned to see a group of soldiers in a semi-circle. He got down.

Blackout was in front. They aimed their weapons at him. "Now!" Yelled T'Resh, and with a roar, an enormous, powerful, focused beam of sonic energy struck the helicopter alt mode. "Aaah!" Screamed Blackout, as his chassis shook; his blades disintegrated, and he crashed to the ground!

Within seconds, the Decepticon was set upon by dozens of Regulans, slashing his chassis to shreds. His Spark ripped out of his chest, Blackout lay dead on the ground.

"What the…?" Yelled Starscream, frightened.

"Now, the Seeker!" And they prepared to take him down. But after seeing the effects the weapon had on Blackout, the jet made a corkscrew turn up into the sky and high tailed it out of there.

Hound scoffed. "Typical Starscream. Let others get hit, then when the battle goes badly, turn and run."

T'Resh jumped on the heap of shredded Cybertronian steel that was Blackout. "Regulans! Hound! I declare a great victory today!" He held up his sonic weapon and roared. His soldiers joined in, leading to a mighty cacophony of triumphant growls and shouts.

"Yeeehaaa!" Yelled Hound. "Damn, these guys are good!"

"What do you mean, Blackout is dead?!" Megatron yelled at his lieutenant, glowering over him.

"My...my lord, it was an ambush! The Regulans, they, they had a new weapon! It took him down and nearly me as well!"

"So you turned and ran instead of blasting those mangy flea-bitten organics!" His red optics stared down at Starscream, who cowered before him.

"I swear to you, it was that or suffer the same fate!" he squealed.

"Find out everything you can about this new weapon of theirs and report back to me," he answered coldly, then turning to return to his throne, he said, "and I hope when you return it is with better news for me than the one you just brought."

Two days later, Sari was pleased to see the Skystrikers ready, Jack, Raf and Ben were holding the portable Spark-sensors. They were in the groundbridge nexus waiting expectantly. TFA Bulkhead was standing by, prepared to operate the controls.

"Skystrikers, we have three targets scattered across the world. Miko, you and I are going to Tokyo."

"Back to my hometown? Weird." Miko answered, surprised at the coincidence.

"Jack, your objective is a tiny autonomous island in the middle of the Atlantic called 'Griffin Rock'."

"Understood, Sensei."

"And Ben and Raf, your target is currently in an archaeological dig in Egypt."

"Is there any characteristics we should look for, Captain?" Raf asked.

"I'm afraid I have no idea. With the speed at which I had to execute my search, I couldn't even determine which gender they are. You'll have to trust the Spark sensors." Sari sighed, a bit disappointed.

"And if we run into that Kālī chick?" Ben asked.

"We fight her the best we can." Jack said.

"No!" Sari retorted sharply, looking at Ben, Jack and Raf. "If Kālī tails one of your targets, which I believe she will, Bulkhead might not be able to get me there fast enough to fight her off. So if she does appear before you, I don't want you to fight. I want you to run!"

"Remember, time is of the essence. Move as quickly as you can, find the Technorganic, and get back here," she told them.

Bulkhead fired up three separate ground bridges. "Ready when you are, Skystrikers," he said, and the five sped into their tunnels, headed for their destinations.
