"PITOO! PITOO!" Pit yelled ecstatically, bursting into the bedroom of his dark double, who shot up from his bed in shock and anger.
"WHAT! ?" Dark Pit growled tiredly.
"We have big trouble! Like, huge trouble!" The light angel yelled, his voice raising an octave with every breath which slowly sent his voice into the tone of a shrieking young girl.
Dark Pit shot up from his bed and grabbed his staff, shaking as much fatigue from his rude awakening from his system as he could. "What is it? Underworld forces? Arum? Another list of chores from Palutena?"
"Worse!" Pit shrieked, his arms flailing in terror.
"What is it?" Dark Pit said tightening his grip on his weapon; battle ready for whatever was headed for the two angels.
"Our next story might not be ready in time!" Pit yelled before burying his face in his hands.
The only way to describe Dark Pit's reaction to the news would be "extreme disappointment".
"That's it…Seriously." the black winged angel said flatly, flinging his staff back against the wall and sitting back on his bed. "And here I thought whatever you were about to tell me was worthy of another Game, not these crappy stories we're pushed into."
"You're only saying that because of how the original draft of the summer special went." Pit said outright.
"And he better make it better next time." Dark Pit growled, looking forward as if someone else other than Pit was in the room. "But why's it matter? Why is there a time limit for this story in particular?"
"It's a holiday special, Pitoo. We need this story written and out by Halloween."
"That's, like, 7-8 days away, that's more than enough time. Stop being so paranoid Pit-stain." The black-haired angel said as he layer back down in his bed, shutting his eyes.
"Well, The Angel of Nerdiness has a lot of schoolwork to do and he's barely written down any of the story. He doesn't want to rush it and make a lackluster story." Pit explained, trying desperately to get his double to listen.
"Well, then he shouldn't have posted that prologue then."
"But this story was a big one, and based on his ideas…..a real good one." Pit, mumbling the last bit of his sentence as he blushed slightly.
"AKA a snippy story between you and Viridi." Dark Pit smirked without opening his eyes.
"Shut up." Pit snapped, his blush intensifying.
"And besides, I'm sure his fans understand that his schoolwork and real life comes first."
"But…But-"
"AND if they were ok with it, The Angel could just post the story a little later than usual if its so big and important."
"I guess you're right." Pit said with a look that showed he was making sense out of his double's words. "Yeah. You are right."
Pit breathed a sigh of relief, and was about to awkwardly leave Dark Pit's room before the dark angel spoke up again, finally open gin his eyes to look Pit in the face.
"But one thing I don't get: if The Angel is so worried about writing the big Halloween story, why is he wasting his time on this pointless, fourth-wall breaking mix of a mini story and an update?"
There was a pause between both angels before they both turned to the side, once again seemingly looking at a mysterious third person who wasn't in the room with them, but who both angels knew was there.
A/N: Yeah….So, if I ever want to get this Halloween story done; I'd have to work on it most likely After Halloween. Sorry guys, hope you understand.
