AN: Hey my glorious fans. I know I've been away for an insanely long time and I apologize from the deepest depths of my heart. I've just had multiple factors of life continue to get in the way of me continuing my stories, mainly writers worst enemy, writers block. I hope to be able to at least start updating my stories once a week/every two weeks, but I honestly can't make any promises though. R.I.P Cory Montieth. Hope you enjoy :D

"Lo?" I mumble tiredly into my phone.

"Hey bro. How'd the date go? Did you get past second?" Puck asks from the other end and I have to hold back a growl at his last question.

"Noah why are you calling me so early in the damn morning?" I groan out in frustration as I bury my head into my pillow.

"Dude it's like two in the afternoon," he tells me with a laugh and I shoot up to look at my alarm clock. Sure enough the numbers read 1:56pm and I groan again when I realize it's Monday and I'm missing school. "What's with you dude? You usually never sleep this late, or skip school."

"I was up with Chord until around five this morning," I tell him through a yawn as I get out of bed and stretch.

"Seriously?" Puck asks and I nod even though he can't see me. "What's wrong? Is he alright?" he questions in worry and I can't help but smile. It's always nice seeing, or in this case hearing, this side of my best friend. The side where he's actually Noah instead of Puck.

"Yeah he's gonna be fine he's just colicky," I tell him as I wander into the hall in the same clothes I wore on the date last night.

"What's that?" Puck questions in confusion as I quietly open the door to Chord's nursery. I see that he's not in his crib so I slowly begin to head downstairs.

"It's basically stomach cramps, but for babies," I say as I spot my Daddy dozing on the couch with a sleeping Chord in his arms. I walk past them and into the kitchen to see my Dad making sandwiches.

"Dude that blows."

"I know."

"So are you ever going to tell me how your date went?" Puck questions now that he knows Chord is ok.

"It went great dude. I really like her and can't wait to see her again," I say dreamily.

"Gay!" he drawls and I scowl.

"Fuck you Puckerman," I growl out, causing my Dad to glare at me for my language.

"You're such a girl sometimes bro."

"Coming from the guy who called me to talk about my date," I scoff. I silently thank my dad as he sets a sandwich and chips in front of me on the counter as I sit down on a stool.

"Cause I thought you'd have some juicy details man! I mean Lopez is known for getting around," Puck tells me and I start choking on the bite of sandwich I just took.

"What?" I try to growl out, though it comes out as more of a wheeze.

"You didn't know?" he asks me, genuinely surprised.

"No! But even if I did you should know me better then that by now Noah. I don't use girls like that, no matter what their reputation is," I tell him, pissed that he'd even think that of me. "And another thing, just because someone is known for 'getting around'," I literally air quote the words getting around, "it doesn't mean that they're automatically going to sleep with someone on the first date."

"Ok! Ok. My bad Jewbro. I know you're not really into the whole sleeping around thing, but I also know that you haven't been with anyone since...her. I'm sorry," he tells me sincerely.

"It's ok Noah. I really do like her though," I say with a stupid smile on my face as I think about Santana.

"I'm glad dude, and from what I've seen she really likes you too," he tells me and my stupid smile only gets bigger.

"Hey beautiful," I whisper in Santana's ear as I sneak up on her as she's digging through her locker the next morning. She's jumps before quickly turning to face me with a face splitting grin that I automatically mimic. I lean down to give her a quick peck on the lips, but she threads her hands through my hair and holds my head in place as she deepens the kiss. Not that I'm complaining though.

"Get a room," Quinn calls out as she and Britt join us in front of San's locker. Santana flips her off as we finally break apart and I chuckle at her brashness.

"So how's Chord feeling?" Santana asks as in concern as she goes back to riffling through her locker.

"He's better now. Thanks," I tell her with a grin and a warm and fuzzy feeling from her worrying about my son.

"What was wrong with him?" Britt asks with a sad pout. I immediately decide that I don't like that look on her face and try and make it go away.

"He just had a bit of colic Britt, nothing to worry about," I say.

She stares at me for a moment before smiling brightly again. "Ok."

"So are we still on for after school?" Santana questions as the four of us start walking towards our classes. I quickly grab Santana's books before taking her hand in mine.

"Um..." I say hesitantly, not really knowing how to tell her that Chord has to come with us. I know she likes spending time with him, but it's an entirely different story when he starts coming on dates with us.

"What's wrong Ray?" she questions cautiously.

"Nothing's wrong per-se, but..."

"But?" she prompts, her eyebrow raised expectantly. It's pretty fucking hot.

"I have to bring Chord with us," I rush out as we walk into our shared class.

"Ok...and?" she questions in confusion.

"And? You're not mad?" I ask, also confused.

"No...Why would I be? You know I love spending time with the little guy," she tells me with an excited grin.

"I mean, I know you like spending time with him, but it's different when he's on a date with us," I tell her, wanting her to understand why I was nervous. She seems to get it as she turns to face me fully in her chair and gives me a small smile.

"Look Rayden, I know that you're a dad, and I know that being a dad comes with responsibilities, so I understand that there are going to be times where you have to cancel on me cause of an emergency with Chord, or times like today where he has to come with us on a date, and it's fine. I know what I'm getting myself into okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah, cool," I tell her with a small smile. I quickly lean across the isle to give her a quick kiss before the teacher starts class, and I feel like a weight I didn't know was there has been lifted from my shoulders. I really like Santana and I was worried that she didn't know exactly what she was signing up for when she agreed to date me, but she seems to understand everything perfectly. It actually makes me so happy that I want to break into song, but I won't cause I'm at school and that would be weird.

I'm sitting in the choir room between Santana and Noah when my phone vibrates in my pocket. I quickly pull it out, expecting a text from one of my dads, only to see the same unknown number from a few nights ago flashing across my screen. I completely forgot all about the missed calls and voicemails, too worried about my date with Santana and Chord. I hit ignore, and then open up the new text from my Dad that just arrived.

"I'll be right back," I tell Santana after reading the text. I give her a quick kiss and run out of the choir room, passing Mr. Shue on my way to the parking lot. He opens his mouth to speak but I don't give him the chance, rushing past him at a fast jog.

"We're really sorry Ray," Daddy tells me as I meet them in front of the school.

"It's fine. No worries. Just be safe and tell Grandma I love her," I tell them both as I grab Chord's carrier and diaper bag. I give them both quick hugs and turn back to the school.

"Ok guys. Seeing as how Rayden seems to have disappeared, how about we get this meeting started?" I hear Mr. Shue say as I near the choir room.

"Where did he rush off to anyway Santana?" I hear Mercedes question.

"How in the fuck should I know?" Santana snaps back, causing me to chuckle silently.

"Aren't you his girlfriend?" Finn asks.

"I..." Santana pauses, and I save her from having to answer a question she doesn't quite know the answer to.

"Mr. Shue?" I ask as I walk into the room. Chord's eyes, a light blue at the moment because of his white and blue onesie, flit about the room and take in his surroundings.

"Nice of you to join...us," Mr. Shue trails off as the entire club falls silent at the sight of my son and I. "Who's this?" the teacher questions in confusion and curiosity.

"This is my son, Chord," I tell him with a beaming smile. Brittany and Kurt squeal in excitement before rushing from their seats to get a better look at him.

"Oh my god Ray! He looks just like you!" Kurt squeals as Chord grips his finger tightly.

"Wait...Son?" Mr. Shue questions in shock.

"Yes sir," I answer as Santana comes over and takes him from me, immediately taking him from his seat and cradling him close. I smile softly at the sight before turning back to the glee instructor. "My dads had to drive up to Columbus last minute for a family emergency and I had no one to watch him," I explain while watching Quinn, Kurt, Noah, and Mercedes argue over who gets to hold him next. I chuckle as Santana pulls Chord out of everyone else's reach and walks over to sit in her original seat next to Brittany. "I was kinda wondering if you'd mind him staying for the practice?" I ask, smirking when Britt gets San to hand over the baby immediately.

"That's...fine. Yeah it's fine, but I don't know how much practicing is actually going to get done at the moment," he says, pointing to where all of the gleeks were surrounding Britt, San, and Chord.

"Yeah sorry about that," I say with a sheepish smile. Mr. Shue just shrugs with a small smile before walking over to the group to get a better look at Chord as well.

"Why didn't you tell me that your dads were bringing Chord to the school?" Santana questions as we head to the only Walmart in Lima.

"Honestly I didn't know," I answer with a shrug, glancing at her quickly before turning my attention back to the road.

"Did they decide to start their date night early, or...?" she trails off and I smile sadly.

"No. My uncle and grandma were in a pretty bad car accident and they went up to Columbus to check on them," I explain as I pull into the parking lot and park.

"Are they ok?" Santana questions with a slight gasp and a worried expression. I turn to face her fully once the jeep's off with a sad smile.

"My grandma is, but my uncle was in pretty bad condition from what I was told before they left."

"Dios mio. I'm so sorry. I hope he turns out to be ok," she tells me sadly as she cups me cheek gently. I close my eyes tightly to hold back the tears and lean further into her touch.

"Thank you babe, and so do I," I say as I finally open my eyes and lean over the center console, capturing her lips in a soft kiss.

Once we break the kiss I get out of the jeep and walk to the nearest cart corral to grab a cart. As I make my way back to my jeep I see Santana holding Chord's carseat, and as soon as I reach them she places the seat in the big part of the cart. I grin and give her a quick kiss in thanks before we make our way inside the store.

"Ok seriously...if one more fucking person looks at us with disapproval I'm gonna go all Lima Heights on their judgmental asses," Santana growls out as we walk down the snack isle, trying to get things for our movie date at my house that night. She grabs a box of popcorn before pulling her arm back as if to throw it into the cart. She then pauses for a moment, thinks, and then gently places it down as to not wake the sleeping baby.

"I'm sorry baby. You shouldn't have to deal with those jerks," I say with a frown, grabbing some Reeses Pieces and Rasinettes.

"Neither should you," she tells me, glaring harshly at an older woman who was shaking her head at us. "Fuck off lady," she growls, making the older woman hurry away looking scandalized. I just chuckle and roll my eyes.

"I agree. But having a child at sixteen isn't the most responsible thing to do," I say as we walk out of the isle. "That's why I'm terrified of you're parents knowing."

"Why?" Santana questions, looking at me like I'm crazy.

"Your dad doesn't like me already because I'm a guy that's dating you San, and as I said having a baby at sixteen isn't the most responsible thing to do."

"First off, my parents both love you. My dad won't show it yet because he's my dad, but he does. And secondly," she says as we walk up to the check out counter, raising her voice so that other people can hear as well, "Just because you had a kid at sixteen doesn't mean you're irresponsible. You stepped up and became an amazing father, and my parents know this."

My jaw drops and my eyes widen at hearing that her parents already know. "T-they, they know?" I squeak out.

"Yes they know," she tells me with a soft smile. "They know about Chord, and about what an amazing father you are," she tells me as she wraps her arms around my waist. I immediately hug her tighter to me and rest my cheek on the top of her head.

"A-and they're ok with it? With me having a son?" I question nervously. My head moves up and down along with Santana's as she nods.

"They know that people make mistakes and that accidents happen. They believe that it's not your mistakes or accidents in life that define who you are, but what you do about them. When I told them about you stepping up and doing what you believed was the right thing, that made them love you even more."

I just nod my head slowly and tighten my hold around her as I wait for the line to progress, so I can pay for our things and we can get back to my place to start our date. Even though I've only known Santana for about two weeks, I'm falling for her. I'm falling for her fast and hard, and it kinda terrifies me but I wouldn't change a thing.

So here it is. Sorry if it wasn't worth the wait, and again I'm sorry about how long it's taken me to update. I know I don't really deserve it, but it would make my day if you guys could slip me a little review. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed : )
