Hi there Everyone, I know it's been a long time since I updated this story and I want to say I'm really sorry. A lot of stuff happened terrible roommates, then getting away from said roommates and going home to get better. While I was with my roommates I felt like I shouldn't have had fan fiction anymore so I gave up writing. Then there was school and getting through undergrad stuff, But I've wanted to write again for a long time. This chapter may not be very good, as I haven't written in 7 years so please be kind and no flames. I hope you guys enjoy it and thanks to everyone who has been waiting so patiently for me.

Alone

"Mozenrath!" Aladdin exclaimed as he looked at the one person he wished were not there. "What are you doing here?"

"Why I'm just coming for a friendly visit, isn't that ok?" Mozenrath drawled sarcastically, slowly descending on the band of people he found most foul.

"Just a visit" Xerxes croaked floating around Mozenrath's shoulder.

"Enough with the lies Mozenrath if you are here for Arya you can't have her," Aladdin said glaring at the sorcerer while trying to shield his daughter from what he might do. Arya was confused and scared by what Aladdin had said. The cloaked man was here for her? When he first appeared she could feel that this man was not a good one. The look in his eyes was one of evil and malice just as she had seen in the men who had chased her. The eel with the man looked just as twisted if not more so and Arya did not want anything to do with it.

"Mozenrath!" Arya heard her mother call as she looked behind her to see that her mother and the rest of their friends came running to their defense.

"Daddy what is this about? Arya asked.

"Nothing you need to worry about," Aladdin soothed patting Arya on the head. This did not comfort her though as she had a feeling this man wanted nothing more than to bring hurt upon her family.

"Nothing to worry about? Oh I disagree," Mozenrath stated with a smirk. Just then Mozenrath threw what looked like a black ball at Aladdin.

"Arya look out!" Aladdin shouted as he thrust her out of the way. Arya landed with a thud on her side just a few feet away. When she looked up Aladdin was nowhere to be seen which frightened her.

"Aladdin! Give him back Mozenrath!" Jasmine shouted running to where her love had once been. The black ball flung back into Mozenrath's hand and he started to laugh. He loved to see people in pain especially the princess. The horrified look on the young child's face was laughable as well. How easily they let their guard down.

"Aladdin is now mine, so what are you going to do fair princess?" Mozenrath asked with an evil smirk spreading across his face.

"Oh what is the princess going to do?" Xerxes repeated his master.

"What have you done to my daddy!? Give him back! Arya exclaimed getting up and grabbing her stick in order to attack the man that had taken her father from her. As Arya started to walk toward Mozenrath, Jasmine grabbed her and held Arya back.

"Arya stay back it's too dangerous!" Jasmine cried.

"But Mommy we have to do something!" Arya cried back.

Mozenrath laughed, "Ha Ha there is nothing you can do, especially a small child such as yourself."

"Such a small child" Xerxes repeated in his frog like voice. Arya just glared at him. How dare he call her a child! He didn't know her, and she hated being called a child.

"She may not be able to do anything but I certainly can!" Genie declared with triumph. He soared and floated in front of both Arya and Jasmine. "Jas take little Arya and run, I'll deal with this skeleton handed boy."

"Are you sure Genie?" Jasmine asked worriedly.

"No worries!" Genie said looking back with a smirk. Jasmine looked at Genie worriedly, sure Genie could handle the Mukluks that Mozenrath employed but if he came up with anything that could trap a magical creature then Genie was doomed. After debating in her head for a millisecond and after looking at Arya in her arms. Jasmine nodded her head, picked up her daughter and started to run back toward the palace. All while Arya struggled in her arms. She didn't understand why was her mother running away instead of fighting.

"Mother let me go, I want to save dad!" Arya cried hitting her mother on the shoulder, hoping this would be a sure fire way to make her mother let go of her. Jasmine didn't respond but just kept on running.

"You won't get away so easily, Mukluks after them bring me princess Jasmine!" Mozenrath declared determined to get both parents. The only problem was that currently there was a Genie standing at the ready to dispatch his minions. He would possibly have to use that object sooner than he had planned.

"Your zombie goons won't get far with me standing in the way" Genie said changing into a bowler and the mukluks forming into bowling pins. Then he threw his bowling ball at the "pins" and all the mukluks fell and broke into the different body parts that they had been sewn together with. Mozenrath looked surprised that such a silly creature so easily defeated his armies of the undead.

"And now for you, evil sorcerer!" Genie said pointing a finger at Mozenrath. He started to come at the blue-cloaked sorcerer full of confidence that he could dispatch him and save his pal. He was stopped only by the sound of the Sorcerer's laughter, which seemed out of place to Genie. Shouldn't Mozenrath be quaking in his boots?

"Um why are you laughing, I haven't said anything funny yet" Genie said uncertainty now tainting his voice.

"You really think that I would come here unprepared, I knew that you were here with Aladdin and I knew I would need something to stop you." Mozenrath grinned, happy to be able to put the genie in his place for another time. "I should be able to stop you with this!" Out from his cloak he pulled out a blue looking glass ball. Then Mozenrath threw it at Genie. Genie laughed and tried to do away with the ball with magic but he soon became terrified as the ball blocked his magic attacks and soon engulfed him in the crystal sphere. Plop! Genie landed on the ground bound in the constricting glass. He tried breaking free but no avail, he was stuck and he wasn't getting out. The sorcerer laughed because his plan just as he had though it up. He strode confidently over to the glass ball and picked it up. Genie now had a look of fear and sadness as he stared into the eyes of his now captor.

"Look Xerxes we caught ourselves a Genie" Mozenrath laughed aloud happy that his plan had worked.

"Caught, we caught him," Xerxes agreed as he floated around the glass prison.

"Let me out" Genie exclaimed still trying but failing to escape.

"No can do, now my mukluks pull yourselves together!" the sorcerer replied as he strode past his strewn about men and up the steps of the palace. The Mukluks quickly pulled themselves together and followed their master to find the high princess.

Meanwhile Jasmine continued to run fear spreading through her like wildfire. If they had gotten Aladdin they would now be coming after her, she had to hide Arya. She came to a door on her left in her scrambling and decided this is where she would hide her only daughter. It was a supply closet full of cleaning supplies and Jasmine was confident that it would hide Arya well.

"Mother what are you doing we have to get back out there!?" Arya asked fear rising in her quickly.

"I am going to lead them away while you my dear daughter are going to hide here, don't make any sound and they won't find you" Jasmine said giving her daughter a hug.

"No mother I want to help" Arya started to shout but was shushed by her mother with a finger.

"No stay here and please be quiet, I will come for you once they are gone. Don't worry I'll be back for you I promise" Jasmine said quietly, lovingly stroking Arya's hair. Arya felt the tears slowly build in her eyes. Her mother couldn't do this, she couldn't lose both of her parents, not when she had just gotten her whole family back. But before she could protest further Jasmine quickly got out of the closet and shut the door.

"No mother!" Arya shouted but received no response as Jasmine had run away. Arya sat there in the darkness knowing she had to keep silent if she was going to be safe. How long she sat in the choking silence she didn't know, all she knew was the fear and worry that was clawing its way into her heart. Speaking of her heart, her heartbeat loudly in her ears and was so loud to Arya that she though that it would be that, that would give her away. She waited and waited what seemed like hours but her mother did not come back. Finally Arya had had enough of hiding and decided to open the door. The light from the torches on the walls glared harshly against her eyes and she had to shield them. When she got out she didn't hear a sound, which made the fear claw at her heart even more. Where was everyone, why was the only thing that Arya heard her own heartbeat. Arya started to walk and decided to call out against her better judgment and hoped that she would find someone, anyone still there with her so that she wouldn't be all alone.
