Hey Guys! I know this Chapter is short but I feel the story surging now. I honestly am shocked at how far this has come though. I never expected to get to 20 chapters. I mean, I intended to finish this story but it just kept growing. The idea just keeps flushing out and more characters keep getting added. I am going to be completely honest with you guys, this chapter came completely out of left field. I had no idea what I was gonna write when I sat down. But this just... worked too well. I know it's kinda criptic as to what it all means, but I will flush it out over the course of the story. Soon you will understand. anywho... Enjoy!

Chapter 19

A dark shape moved in the cell. It shuffled to a corner of it's confinement, cut off from the outside world, dark, pitch black around it, no light filled the room at all so it was almost blinding when the slot on the cell door slid to the side. A plate with slop on it slid through and the shadow waited, eyes gleaming purple and dark.

As soon as the slot closed again, the shape was on it's meal. It devoured the vile tasting "food" quickly. It needed to eat, needed to keep alive. Needed... revenge.

…...

The guard returned to his post.

"I just don't understand why we keep it alive." His partner said, watching him return from the cell.

"General's orders."

"What interest does our general have in that monster?"

"Her Imperious Condescension's orders for him."

The other troll fell silent. It was one thing to question the Master General, a complete other to question Her Imperious Condescension.

"I just wish we could kill it. That thing took out too many trolls before we subdued it..."

"Believe me, I know" The troll sat down at his desk. He pulled out a picture of a green-blooded troll girl, her smile revealing cat-like teeth. He smiled to himself.

"You ever gonna tell me her name?" His partner asked noticing the picture.

"Nope." The guard smirked. He looked up at his partner, "sorry." he said slowly, almost loosing his control, his lisp almost returning.

"Damn, you gonna ask her to fill your quadrant?"

"Whenever I get back to her, yes."

"Good luck."

"Thanks man"The guard took his hat off, and scratched his head around his horns, the four sharp stubs sticking out on top of his head, symmetrical to each other. "I'm gonna his the respite block. Wake when it's my turn to watch."

The troll turned and left for his room. He sighed, his head heavy. He knew his time was coming, he could feel it. It was going to be hard betraying his partner, the troll wasn't half bad. But things needed to be done. The biding of time was almost done. Doom was coming.
