Hello again, my faithful readers! I am finally back with an update! Yes, I am not dead! In all seriousness, sorry it took so long, I have been too preoccupied with my new Les Miserables obsession. I have a few Les Miserables stories in the works and I plan to post them soon. However, I figured that should return to action with something Total Drama. I dug this chapter up a few days ago and decided to finish it for you guys. I go back to college in like, five weeks, hopefully I can update this again. I am suffering with writers block on "Total Drama Disney World" and "If Harold Hadn't Switched The Votes", so please do not expect me to update those soon. Sorry! :(

Enjoy the chapter! :)

I do not own anything!

"Crap, Pirates is closed!" Courtney said, clearly upset with her observation.

"Are there ropes up? Are there cast members pushing us away?" Nope, so obviously, the attraction is not closed." Duncan replied, correcting her.

"It is after one in the morning, the park is closed and thus the attraction is closed." Courtney firmly shot back.

"Well, it looks open to me, so I do not know about anyone else, but I am going in." Duncan insisted.

"Pirates is closed and going in would be breaking the rules and I NEVER break the rules." Courtney argued.

"Stop being such a princess, Princess and let's go." Duncan said, getting tired of this argument.

"No, I am not coming. You guys can go on without me; I am going back to my Hybrid." Courtney replied, turning to leave.

"Don't make me pick you up." Duncan insisted, now fed up.

"You wouldn't." Courtney shot back, eyes narrowed.

"I would" Duncan replied, smirking.

"Well, I'm still not coming." Courtney replied adamantly.

"Okay then, you asked for it." With that, Duncan picked her up over his shoulder and carried her in kicking and screaming with the others following closely behind.

When they got to the loading area, they found that there were no cast members working the attraction.

"There is no one here, this attraction is closed, obviously, and if we had not gone your way, we would have ridden the attraction and left the park already!" Courtney yelled, still over Duncan's shoulder.

"Jeez, Princess, I do not want to go deaf." Duncan said, touching his ear.

"Put me down you cretin." Courtney insisted.

"Not until we sit down on one of the boats." Duncan replied, smirking.

"I hate you, you ogre." Courtney said, really pissed off.

"Why thank you, Princess." Duncan said, trying to piss her off even more for the hell of it.

"Noah, dude, you are like, a genius. I am sure you can figure out how to start the boats." Geoff said, encouraging his friend.

"I am not going to break the rules." Noah insisted, firmly.

"If you start the attraction, we will protect you from Scott, Eva and Alejandro, deal?" Trent asked, knowing he could not say no.

"Fine, but if one of them lays a finger on me, I will tell Principal McClain about your plans for the last day of school and I will tell him that you guys are the ones who ruined the cafeteria food." Noah replied.

"Okay, the cafeteria food was never ruined, Chef cannot cook." Duncan said, knowing that Noah was bluffing.

"Yeah, but Principal McClain does not think that." Noah added before walking over the attraction's controls.

Within a couple of minutes, Noah got the attraction started and everyone boarded the boat. As Noah pressed the go button, he jumped into the boat, landing in the last row, which happened to be where Katie was seated.

"Why did we have to sit in the front row, Duncan?" Courtney asked, already knowing the answer.

"The front row gets soaked, that is why." Duncan replied while putting his arm over her shoulder.

Courtney scooted away from him and replied "No one really gets that wet on this attraction. That is what Splash Mountain is for." Duncan moved over and put his arm around Courtney again, to which she gives up and tries to enjoy the ride in order to take her mind off of the cretin next to her.

"Dead Men Tell No Tales!"

"Dead Men Tell No Tales!"

"Ain't that the truth" Duncan snickered, thinking about something that Courtney knew she would never like to know.

As they made the turn around the corner, the Blackbeard projection lay dead ahead of them and he was not acting as normal. He was silent and did not fade in & out like he normally does.

"Is the Blackbeard projection-thingy supposed to be silent?" Katie asked from the very back of their boat.

"I was just about to mention that…curious" Courtney replied, puzzled.

As soon as they approached the projection, it repeated one of its programmed lines, but it did not fade away as they went through it.

"Strange, normally he fades away as the boats pass through" Courtney muttered to herself. She wished she could tell her mom about these oddities but that would land her in a heap of trouble.

The mermaid scene came next and the creepy but beautiful music played as normal. However, as they passed by the mermaid projections, their boat was whacked and nearly tipped over.

"I am guessing that is not normal either, Courtney?" Bridgette asked, clinging onto Geoff.

"The mermaids are just projections, harmless projections. I am sure it was just a technical malfunction. Nothing to worry about" Courtney answered, trying to assure her friends that everything was okay – something that she herself was not completely sure about.

When they went down the small waterfall, Courtney was proven wrong as she and Duncan got soaked, no completely drenched.

"That's odd, I know they adjust the waterfall for the seasons and since its summer I was expecting to get a little wetter than normal, but this is obscene. This is just as bad as Splash Mountain, no it's even worse; it is Kali River Rapids bad. What is even more horrid is that I cannot tell mother about this because I am not supposed to be on this ride in the first place!" Courtney said, freaking out.

"Babe, calm down, you'll dry off quickly." Duncan said as a "cannonball" landed right next to them and thus soaking them even more. "Or not" Duncan added as he laughed at her pissed expression.

"My drenched clothes and hair are the least of my problems, Duncan." Courtney snapped, seriously peeved at him.

Meanwhile, all through the battle scene "cannonballs" were going off like crazy and everyone in the boat was getting soaked.

"It's almost like they are trying to attack us, man." Trent said as he tried to shield Gwen from the water but was unsuccessful as she was hit from the other side.

"Dude, you are right." Geoff agreed, he had protected Bridgette successfully by having her crouch under his seat and he also covered her for extra protection.

"I do not like this at all!" Noah yelled, he and Katie were hugging each other tightly in fear and both were already drenched to the bone.

"Hang it there everyone, we are technically at the half way point in the ride, so we will be of out here soon!" Courtney yelled back, trying to be encouraging.

Once they got through the battle scene, things went a lot smoother. The group – well Courtney, Bridgette, and Katie sung the ride's title song to take their mind off of the events of the previous scene, hoping to make the best of the rest of the attraction.

Gwen, on the other hand, was having a completely different experience on the attraction. Instead of trying to have a good time like the other girls, she was carefully eying the details of the attraction in an attempt to get inspiration for drawings and paintings. Three quarters of the way through she realized that the eyes of the pirate audio animatronics were following their boat!

"Shit!" Gwen gasped, hoping what she observed was just her eyes playing tricks on her.

"Is something wrong, Gwen?" Trent asked her, concerned.

"Look closely at the eyes of the pirate audio animatronics." Gwen instructed, hoping that he would see nothing.

Trent carefully looked at the eyes of the audio animatronic pirate standing next to the well "dunking" the town mayor audio animatronic.

"Audio animatronics have moving eyes, right?" He asked starting to pick up on what startled her.

"Newer ones, I think, but not these" Gwen replied, still shocked.

The two exchanged looks but did not carry on further conversation. Gwen went back to observing the details and Trent, even more stunned, continued to look at the eyes of the audio animatronics for the remainder of the ride.

As the boats reached the next scene, Trent noticed that the line of female audio animatronics had kept looking straight ahead, but the eyes of the pirate audio animatronic who was "auctioning them off" followed their boat. Another strange occurrence happened in the scene after that; the eyes of the pirate audio animatronic that mentions Jack Sparrow followed their boat; however the Jack head that comes in and out of the barrel moved and looked where it normally does.

The boat entered the scene where the audio animatronics start to sing and the girls started to sing louder as this was their favorite part of the ride. This time Geoff joined them as he enjoyed this scene as well. Duncan, on the other hand hated this part of the attraction as the song annoyed him. Trent, although he also enjoyed the song, was more preoccupied on the eyes of the audio animatronics. Gwen was also preoccupied with the audio-animatronics and had started to sketch out some of the slight differences that she noticed within the ride.

They had made it to the middle of the scene when all of a sudden, embers from the "burning building" were flying out of the said structure in front of them. It was obvious that their target was the boat. One hit Courtney arm and then Duncan jumped to protect her. Geoff had Bridgette under his seat yet again and he was "swatting" the embers away with is now charred hat. Trent, having learned from the "cannonballs", had Gwen hiding under his seat. She offered him her drawing book but instead he used his water bottle and hit the embers as if they were baseballs. Noah was swatting at the embers with his book and thankfully, Katie had her purse to use as a weapon. Katie screamed when an ember hit her on the head and Noah pushed her head under the water to douse the flame. He then pulled her up and had her hide under their seat while he continued swatting with his book.

"What the f**k is going on!?" Duncan yelled, freaked out.

"How the hell should I know!? The fire up there is not supposed to be real, the look and smell are special effects!" Courtney replied, nursing her burned hand.

"Dudes, I think we are just about out this scene!" Geoff said, trying to be positive.

All of a sudden, an ember hit their boat and it caught on fire. The eight teens jumped into the water and swam as fast as they could out the scene.

As they finally exited the scene, everyone sighed in relief and then Courtney (from Duncan's back) shouted:

"Oh look, there's the dog with the keys, he's so cute! Good dog!" She pointed to the dog and then she too gasped. "Did anyone else notice…anything strange?"

"Like the eyes of the pirate audio animatronics in the cell following our boat?" Gwen asked, glad to know that she and Trent were not crazy.

"Mmmhmm" Courtney gulped, her eyes wide with fear.

"Gwen was the first to spot the eyes after we got out of that crazy battle scene. She pointed it out to me and I looked at as many of the audio animatronics as I could and yeah, at least eighty five percent of them followed our boat with their eyes." Trent said, confirming that he was on the same page.

"Well, Jack Sparrow is not watching us" Bridgette said, pointing to the final scene of the attraction, which they had stopped in front of.

"Yeah, the one in the barrel did not watch us either" Trent added.

"Now that I think about it, the first Jack that we passed, kinda near the mayor audio animatronic being dunked in the well, his eyes were normal too" Gwen commented, now even more curious.

Meanwhile, Duncan noticed that they were approaching the boats and climbed out of the water.

"Duncan, what are you doing!?" Courtney yelled, peeved off with his antics.

"The boats are backed up, we cannot swim any further, might as well get out now" Duncan replied, now standing next to the treasure scene.

Unfortunately, Duncan was right and so the group got up and out on Jack's side, walked around to the attraction's exit and headed towards the gift shop.

"Looks like they closed the gift shop already" Courtney pointed out as they had walked into the darkness that was the pirates' gift shop.

"It is so dark, I hope I do not walk into and or trip over anything" Bridgette commented, worried that her klutziness would get her hurt and or make a huge mess.

"Yeah, I mean seriously, I can't see anything, not even my hands" added Trent.

"No problem, I have a flashlight in my pocket" Duncan said while pulling out said flashlight from his pocket.

He turned on his small flashlight and pointed it in the direction of the exit.

"Dudes, we're locked in!" Geoff said immediately after noticing the locked gate-type doors in front of them.

"No duh, Captain Obvious" Duncan replied, rolling his eyes. He then proceeded to check his pockets for his small pocket knife, which he then remembered he left it in their car because weapons are not allowed in the park. "Any of you ladies have a bobbi pin I could borrow?" he asked, as he was a pro a picking locks with such equipment.

"Ugh, fine!" Courtney replied, pulling out the bobbi pin that she was using for a hair clip.

"Much appreciated, Princess" Duncan said as he started to pick the lock.

"I thought I told you to stop calling me that!" Courtney snapped, clearly fed up with the juvenile delinquent.

"Chill Courtney, just ignore him" Bridgette said, putting her hand on her best friend's shoulder.

The C.I.T did just that as she watched him work on the lock. It was taking him awhile because the lock was on the other side of the gated doorway. He had to stick his arms through the holes of the gated doors and then pick the lock without even looking at it – much harder than it sounds. It took him at least five minutes before he finally found success.

"And…got it!" Duncan announced as he pushed the gate doors open and handed the bobbi pin back to Courtney.

"Woohoo! Alright man, nice job!" Geoff congratulated as he gave his best friend a high five.

The eight teenagers exited the gift shop and headed for the park exit. Each of them had chills and not just because they were soaked, their Pirates experience left them all rather shaken up and really on edge. They had made it back to Main Street when all of a sudden, Courtney stopped.

"Wait a minute, where are all the people?" Courtney wondered "We were not in pirates all that long. Normally, it takes like thirty minutes or so for the park guests to clear out. Hell, I do not see any Cast Members at all. Cast Members are normally everywhere right after park closing so they can properly shut down everything and shut down the park for the night" she puzzled and pondered.

"She is right, I did some research on the park, purely for academic reasons, and normally quite a few people stay around to experience the "Kiss Goodnight". It plays every half hour to an hour after closing. Some people have stayed to watch it three times. Once the last guest clears out, the park is abuzz with Cast Members and other works. They clean everything, make sure everything is working properly, etc. It is very conspicuous to see no one around. I mean, there could be a party in the Utilidors, but I highly doubt it and even so, there should be people wandering around infront of the castle waiting for the "Kiss Goodnight" to start" Noah explained while ringing the water out of his shirt.

"Alright, well, anyway, we should just get out of here" Duncan said, somewhat freaked.

The eight teens quickly made their way down Main Street USA, they noticed that the shops were dark and the doors were locked. 'It is only twenty after, the shops should still be open for another ten minutes. This is too bizarre, the park never shuts down this quickly' Courtney thought, shuddering as she looked at her watch.

They all walked as fast as they could to the entrance/exit of the park, and for the second time that night, they had found themselves face to face with a closed gate. That could only mean one thing:

They were locked in the Magic Kingdom!

I hope all of you enjoyed the chapter. Please review and let me know if you have any suggestions about anything! Thanks for reading! :)

I normally do not include facts with this story, however, I am sure not many off you know what the "Kiss Godnight" is, so I have decided to give you some information so that you guys will understand this chapter better:

I wanted my first tip to be something special so I'm going to bring you some tips on enjoying a lesser known, but well-loved, piece of the World's Magic, the Magic Kingdom's Kiss Goodnight. I'll start by answering a question I hear a bit, 'What is the Kiss Goodnight?'. This is an 'extra' presentation, done most nights, at Cinderella Castle after the park closes and is the Park's nightly signoff. It runs for about 3 minutes and includes light effects, music, a narration and a wish goodnight from the main mouse, Mickey. Most nights it will run every 30 minutes for an hour or so after closing.

The Kiss starts with a musical opening and the Castle changes several dazzling colours throughout the show. The opening is followed by a narrative: "Ladies and gentlemen; boys and girls; on behalf of everyone here at the Magic Kingdom, we thank you for joining us today for a magic gathering of family and friends, fun and fantasy. We hope that your magical journey with us has created wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Walt Disney said that the Magic Kingdom is the world of imagination, hopes and dreams. In this timeless land of enchantment; magic and make-believe are reborn and fairy tales come true. The Magic Kingdom is a place for the young and young at heart; a special place where when you wish upon a star your dreams really do come true. Until we see you again have a safe trip home; thank you and good night."

This is followed by Mickey's 'goodnight wish': "So long everybody! See ya real soon!"

And then ending with the Castle going all white and then finally to an all blue. Watching the finale while "When You Wish Upon A Star" plays is amazing and brings a tear every time.

Performance times aren't listed on the Times Guide and vary widely throughout the year, so the best way to find the time or times the Kiss will run is to ask a Cast Member. Most CMs do know when the Kiss will perform.

The best spot to view the Kiss depends on opinion, but here are some of my favourites. 1. At the end of Main Street in the Hub near 'Partners'. A great spot to feel pulled in to the Magic of the experience. And you can 'feel' Walt and Mickey there with you. 2. Sitting at one of the tables outside of The Plaza, upper or lower area. You can sit and enjoy a hot or cold beverage with a treat from the Main Street Bakery or the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor while waiting for and then watching the Kiss. 3. From the Main Street Railroad station. A great spot to watch the Kiss and people watch as guests walk by leaving the Park. 4. For a romantic view, from a bench near the Rose Garden.
