Hello! I have returned to this story! It's almost done so hopefully I can focus on this one until it is.

Zoey stumbled as they went around a turn. She reached out and grabbed the wall so she didn't fall. "Zoe? Are you okay?" Lucas asked.

Zoey looked up, obviously not meeting Lucas's eyes. "I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" she asked.

"Because you look blind," Zela said. Everyone turned to her and she blushed. "Just an observation."

"So, I guess I can't see without my powers," Zoey said. "And I thought that one day I could actually get rid of that curse."

"Maybe Magic Boy can help," Alex suggested, turning to Joey.

"No!" Zoey said. "I'm messed up enough, I don't need dark magic in my systems."

"Whatever," Joey said, crossing his arms. "Like I would even help you."

"Don't say that, Joey," Zela said. "You wanna change? You can't just pick who you help."

"I didn't say I wanted to change," he argued. "Julic was just using me. I want revenge."

"You and your revenge," Lloyd mumbled.

Joey shrugged. "It runs in the family. Not even from my grandfather."

"So, your grandmother wanted revenge and that's what got the Overlord's attention in the first place," Cole guessed.

Joey nodded. "My grandmother went by Kim, but her real name was Kimberly."

"That's very swell," Alex said sarcastically. She crossed her arms. Suddenly she stopped as they came to a place with two halls.

"What's wrong?" Jay asked.

"We go right," Joey said. "I memorized the tunnels."

"There's someone to the left," Alex said. "My sixth sense is a bit weak, but I know who it is." She turned to the ninja. "You guys go get Kai and Zane. Jay, come with me."

Jay and Alex took down the hall on the left. They stopped when they got to the main room. "Nya!" Jay gasped as he rushed to her side, kneeling down. "Her vision was right. Julic hurt her using my powers!"

Alex looked over Nya. "Good news, she's alive. Bad news, I'm not a doctor."

"Bad for you or her?"

"Both?"

Jay rolled his eyes. "Help me lift her up. We need to get her out of here."

Alex nodded.

They lifted Nya up, holding her between them. They walked down the hall and down where the others had headed to. "Julic will so pay for this," Jay growled.

"Trust me, he will," Alex said. "But he has all our powers. Not only does that make him unstoppable, but the creature I drew…that's what he planned to unleash. He needed all of our powers for it."

"Uh, creature?" Jay asked.

"Yeah, I think it's made of shadows," Alex said, frowning. "Or maybe Dark Matter."

"Like on the Dark Island?" Jay suggested.

"Wait, the Dark Island? Oh my gosh! That's where he's heading!" Alex said. "The elemental powers, plus Lloyd's energy, plus my powers–"

"And Lucas, Zoey, Zela, and Tove," Jay added.

"Add it to the already dark forces…crap," Alex mumbled. "We need to tell the others. Like, now."

"I'll stay with Nya," Jay said. "You go tell them."

Alex gently slipped away from Nya, making sure Jay could hold her before taking off down the hall.

"Kai!"

The ninja rushed to the Master of Fire's side.

Kai pushed himself up off of the ground. "What happened?" he mumbled.

"Julic happened," Lucas said. "He took your powers."

Kai nodded. "I remember that."

"Where's Zane?" Tove asked, looking around.

"May…maybe Julic took him," Zoey said nervously. Her eyes stared blankly at the ground. "I don't want to believe it but–"

"Guys! We need to leave now!"

Everyone turned as Alex burst into the room.

"What's wrong?" Cole asked.

"I figured out where Julic's going. There's a monster I used to have nightmares about. Jay and I think it's made from Dark Matter," Alex explained. "We have to get to the Dark Island before he does."

"I-I can take us," Joey stuttered. "Puh-possibly."

Zela saw that he was nervous and calmly placed her hand on his shoulder. "Joey, are you okay?"

"Yeah," Joey lied. "I just…I'm not sure if I can transport all of us to something so far."

"Take Zela and Zoey back to Bluebell," Lloyd suggested. "Zela isn't trained and Zoey can't fight if she can't see."

"Uh, yeah, which is back to the topic of none of us have our powers," Kai stated as he pushed himself up off the ground. "Julic has them."

"That's not all," Joey said, taking a step back. "He can unlock more than what you guys could. At least, he was able to with Alex's powers. He didn't need a weapon to use her powers. His hands became his weapons."

"Great!" Jay's voice exclaimed, startling them all. He brought Nya into the room and she was now half conscious. "He has all of our powers, he knows how to use them better than us, and he's about to unleash one of the scariest creatures probably ever imagined!"

Kai rushed over to them. He helped Jay with his sister. "What happened to her?" he demanded.

Jay winced, not wanting to think of the vision. "Julic happened. She'll be okay though."

"Wait," Joey said at a realization. "Julic doesn't have Lloyd's powers!"

"What do you mean?" Lucas questioned.

Lloyd put his hand out, a green flame forming. "He's right."

"You're welcome," Joey said arrogantly. "If I hadn't killed you, we'd all be doomed!"

"I hope you don't expect a thank you," Lloyd muttered, closing his fist.

Joey shrugged. "I'm going to pretend you did either way."

"So are we ready?" Tove asked. "Ever second we waste is a second we don't have our powers."

"And a second closer to Julic destroying Ninjago," Kai added.

"Eh," Tove said, clearly not really caring.

"Let's just go," Zoey said, looking up in the direction she thought Joey was.

Joey grabbed her hand and they all vanished.

"You'll take care of Nya?" Kai checked.

"And Zoey too?" Lucas added.

"I promised, they won't get hurt," Zela assured them. "Just…keep an eye out for Joey. Make sure he's safe."

The two exchanged looks.

"He has seemed to change sides," Lucas mumbled.

"We'll do it so long as he's against Julic," Kai finalized.

They walked outside where the others were waiting.

"We have a problem," Cole told them. "Alex refuses to go."

"So?" Kai questioned.

"So, I think what Cole means is she's the only one who has the faintest idea of what we're going up against," Lucas answered. "Why won't she go?"

Cole looked to Alex who stood off to the side with Joey. "Julic put it in her mind that the venom could still turn her evil."

"It's rediculous," Jay said. "We need to go now."

Tove walked over to Joey and Alex and dragged them back over to the others. "We decide this now," she said. "Alex, you're coming."

"No," Alex said stubbornly. "I can't promise that when we get there I'll have control over the venom. I'm not putting you guys at the risk of–"

"For the love of…" Joey waved his hand at Alex and she vanished.

"Joey," Lloyd growled.

"She's fine, I just gave her a head start to, uh, scout the area," Joey said. His eyes darted away for a moment. "Well, your turn." He made a circular motion and everyone vanished.

Lloyd found himself instantly on the Dark Island. It was just like he remembered it. He was on the beach, but he didn't see anyone else. Was going to just wait for Joey to ask where everyone else ended up. Then someone grabbed him and pulled him into the jungle.
