Endless Tears

I do not own Naruto and all rights belong to Masashi Kishimoto. =3

(A/N: Hiya Dudes and Dudettes. Well we've reached the end of Endless Tears. It's been such a fun ride and I miss working on it. Feel free to check out my new story I'll be posting soon. It's called So Cold and yes it is a Sas/Sak pairing fic. I'm actually quite proud of it, but anyhoo let's get down to business. Review if you wish, criticize if you must and flame if you wanna meet my precious hose. MWAHAHAHA! )

Chapter Nine:

Sakura's eyes slowly opened, a yawn escaping her parted lips. It was then she felt a strong arm lying across her waist. The pinkette haired jonin didn't attempt to stop the smile that broke across her mouth as her mind replayed the day before. Something as innocent as kissing soon turned into something that made her cheeks flush at the thought. Yet, Sakura didn't care about anything but Sasuke.

She rolled onto her side and glanced at her ebony haired lover. She needed to reaffirm that she hadn't dreamed up the whole encounter. The man sleeping next to her with his arm pillowing his head was none other than the Uchiha she loved.

He looked so peaceful and lovely when he slept, though she would never tell him as much. His lips were parted slightly, letting his breath escape and fan over her face. She giggled as his recent exhale ruffled her hair. Sasuke's eyes shot open, he ever clever sight scanning. Once he saw Sakura he smiled sleepily and kissed her forehead.

"I'm going to go get some water." She stated evenly, "I'll be right back."

Sasuke nodded before closing his eyes and drifting back to sleep. Sakura pushed the patch of hair that fell into his face with her fingertips, before sliding out from under the bear skin blanket that covered them. She paused at the entrance just long enough to smile at the man she loved before stepping out of the mouth of the cave.

Sakura hummed a cheerful tone as she sank to her knee by a thin stream. She bent forward and after cupping her hands together she dipped them into the water. The liquid was freezing and crisp, as she brought her hands to her mouth and drank. After dipping her hands into the water five different time, she sighed happily. A bright smile played on her lips as she glanced up at the sky.

I have everything I could've ever wanted. Her mind stated.

"Well. Well. If it isn't the pink haired medic ninja from Konoha." A deep voice echoed.

Sakura froze; her body tensing and her muscle tighten in an effort to prepare her to strike. Suddenly she felt something sharp and cold pressed against her neck, from what she could gather it was a kunai. The strangers other arm snaked around the back of her head, a pale and calloused male's hand covered her mouth. Sakura didn't recognize the voice, but the second she managed to peek over her shoulder she remembered the face vaguely.

The midmorning sunlight glinted off wire rimmed glasses and almost blinded her.

"You're coming with me."

The last thing Sakura saw was floating white feathers that drifted lazily in the soft breeze.

Yeah, yeah I knew ended on a cliff hanger. I'm thinking about making a sequal to this story in the future, but I can't promise it'll be soon. I guess it all depends on how badly you guys want it. Let me know whatcha think.
