"Mrs. Rogers is fine and so is the baby. We discovered a placental abruption which means that the placenta was partially detached from the wall of the uterus which caused abdominal pain and contractions. Fortunately this case was not severe enough to cause any real damage to the baby or the mother. Since there is no form of treatment we'll have to keep a close eye on Natasha and the baby as well as bed rest. It will be alright to have small assisted stretches and monitored movement. She's resting now. I would also work on getting her blood pressure a little lower, its high enough to be a possible factor to the placental abruption. You can go see her now, room 102."

Steve let out a sigh of relief as he slumped in his chair and breathing hard. Bruce stepped up.

"what about Clint Barton? We just saw him be admitted."

"Agent Barton's condition is serious but it looks like he'll be fine. He talked a little before the anesthesia hit, he requested to be with you guys so we will move him into Mrs. Rogers room after he gets out of surgery."

Tony nodded as Thor dragged Steve to Natasha's room. She was sleeping so Steve was extra gentle when he grabbed her hand and rested his forehead on the edge of her bed. His body relaxed as soon as he had Natasha's hand in his. They could hear Natasha's steady heartbeat as well as the baby's which eased them all however they still had Clint on their minds. Steve stayed with Natasha while the others went to find out about Clint or get food. Thor went back to the tower to get proper clothing for all of them. Steve held Natasha hand and placed a palm on her stomach for hours. Tony and Bruce walked back into the room followed by Clint on a hospital bed. He was unconscious but breathing normally and his heart beat was strong. It only took Clint's presence for Natasha to wake up.

"Hows the baby?"

"She's good."

"Clint?"

"breathing next to you."

"Me?"

"Doing good."

"ok."

She went back to sleep for another hour. When she woke up again it was sunset, Clint was waking up, their beds had been slightly pushed together.

"I thought I told you to stay safe jackass."

"Sorry. I didn't mean to nearly die. I told you to take care, yet here you are. Care to explain?"

Natasha looked to Steve who was sleeping on the chair next to her bed. She still didn't know what was going on so she was hoping he would tell her. Bruce walked into the room at that moment.

"The placenta partially detached putting Natasha in a lot of pain. Everything is fine though but its time for some bed rest."

Natasha's face turned sour at the last work. Clint chuckled and began to cough.

"Careful Clint, you nearly popped your lung. Theres several bullet wounds in your body so you'll be on bed rest for nearly the remainder of Nat's pregnancy as well."

He started pouting as well. Several seconds passed before they both began to complain. Bruce placed ear plugs in his ears and took a seat in the corner of the room. Natasha and Clint worked together to bring their beds closer together and talked until they fell back asleep. When Steve woke up Natasha and Clint were wrapped up in eachother, sleeping soundly. It brought a smile to his face.

"Do you don't feel any jealousy towards how our little warrior is so affectionate towards the hawk?"

"No Thor. It makes me happy that Natasha can find such joy in Clint. They love each other in a way that I will never understand but I know that I have nothing to worry about."

Thor smiled and patted Steve on the back which sent him flying forward into the floor.

"Watch out Steve, don't trip. We do not need another person on a hospital bed. I shall go see when Natasha and Clint will be allowed to leave. I imagine they wont be leaving tonight."
