I'm super sorry for making you guys wait for so long. I really didn't mean to. I was just busy with work. Hopefully, this will satisfy your 8027 thirst/hunger. And don't worry. The other stories are being worked on right now so it shouldn't be too long. Enjoy!
Pissed Off Daddy
Tsuna was storming through the sky with only one thing on his mind. He wanted his baby back. His father, after almost being murdered, finally told him what was going on. Mukuro was using Matthew as bait to toy both him and Yamamoto. It was something he wanted to do out of pure boredom. Reborn had just seen an opportunity from it. Personally, the brunet didn't really care about what his insane Mist guardian did. He sometimes vaguely remembered if Mukuro was on their side or not.
Tsuna burst into the large abandoned school. His blood was boiling and his teeth were grinding. Just the very sight of the rundown school made him want to burn it all. He carefully moved around through the building. If he remembered, three people lived here. Chrome was one of them. But knowing Mukuro, she wouldn't be around at the moment. Tsuna reached the third floor and searched for any sign of baby noises or that annoying laugh Mukuro made.
"Mukuro, where are you?" Tsuna shouted.
"Kufufu... Someone seems a bit eager."
Tsuna scanned the room for the source. He couldn't sense anything. Usually, he could after their last fight. Mukuro was hiding and he wasn't showing himself anytime soon. The brunet scowled at his petty antics.
"Mukuro, give me back Matthew."
"Oh, foolish Vongola. Why would I give him up so early when I haven't had my fun?"
Tsuna tried walking, but found himself paralyzed. His skin formed cuts as he struggled to move around. That's when he noticed it. In the room, it was filled with thin strings almost invisible to the eye. His blood made it easier to tell as it slowly dripped down on one. Tsuna could only glare towards the open space as he stopped struggling. His eyes trailed through the room to see if he could get himself out of it.
"I must hand it to the Varia. You don't find strings like these anymore. They really know how to get the job done." Mukuro chuckled.
"Why are you doing this?" Tsuna asked.
"Why else? Seeing you struggle to no end is the best. Too bad your friend isn't here to see this."
Mukuro was right. He was thankful for that at least. In the heat of the moment, Tsuna ran out of the house and flew most his way here. Yamamoto and the others were still home or at least tried to following him. Well, key word being relaxed his muscles as he looked around. His mind was coming to a complete blank. There wasn't anything he could hit to loosen the threads. Besides, the only one who went through this was Gokudera, but he wasn't here. It doesn't help the fact that he doesn't have any explosives.
Tsuna smiled when an idea came into mind. His gloves, still in battle mode, lit a fire and pressed it against the thread. His idea worked for a split second, but the thread continued on slicing any of his exposed skin mercilessly. He didn't care enough about that. Mukuro laughed once more and came into view.
Tsuna backed away slightly when he saw how close Mukuro was to him. They were almost face to face. The brunet composed himself as he got into his fighting position. Mukuro did the same as he pointed his Triton toward Tsuna. They glared at each other, waiting for someone to make a move. Tsuna was the first as he sped toward Mukuro with his fist pulled back, ready to punch anything.
Mukuro slid back and used his weapon to take on the blast. His shoes dug to the rotten old floor from the impact. He smiled at the brunet innocently.
"Seems like you're not as strong as you were before. Maybe this time, I can possess your body."
"In your dreams... I beat you before, I can beat you again."
"Big words coming from a small person…" Mukuro hissed.
Tsuna moved in close again. His fists aimed at Mukuro's head at full swing. The illusionist merely dodged it as he gracefully stepped back. The brunet glared at him for his evasive movement. He then ducked his body down and swung his leg at Mukuro's ankle. The Mist guardian stumbled while trying to hold his balance as he jumped away. Tsuna glanced at the rotten floor as he dusted his clothes. He turned to face Mukuro again. The Mist guardian was spinning his trident in place.
"But, who would have thought the Tenth Generation Vongola Boss would fall whim to a mere infant? Rather pathetic to me."
"I suppose you wouldn't understand, Mukuro. You probably never cared about anyone before."
"You're right. I never had and I never will."
Mukuro kicked Tsuna in the stomach, sending him flying backward. Tsuna slid on the dirty floor before coming to a halt. The brunet slowly sat up and clenched his hands. He glared at his guardian.
"Caring about something makes you succumb to it. It would only tie you down and kill you before you can even blink."
Tsuna dodged to the side as the trident was thrown passed his head. He ended up on other side of the room from where he first entered. Mukuro slowly walked to and yanked his trident from the wooden floor.
"That's the difference between you and I. I would never allow myself to emotionally bound to someone. It would only make me weaker."
"Even so… That is what usually gives me the strength to keep fighting people like you."
Tsuna tugged forcefully on the string. Mukuro felt his body entangled in his own trap as he fell flat on the floor. He struggled for a brief moment before stopping. Tsuna was standing in front of him with a serious face.
"Everything I do is to protect everyone. Including you… Now, where is Matthew?"
Tsuna knelt down as he tried to loosen the strings. It cut his hands, but Tsuna didn't pay any attention to it. Dino and Yamamoto entered the room as they huffed for air. Mukuro sat up properly as he used his trident to stand up. He shoved pass Tsuna as he tapped the end of his trident on the floor. A mist engulfed the guardian and Chrome emerged from it. She held a sleeping Matthew in her arms. Tsuna ran to them in happiness.
"Matthew, you're safe! Thank god that nothing happened to you."
Chrome gently handed over the baby to her boss. She smiled when Yamamoto joined Tsuna's side as they examined the baby.
"Sorry, boss. We only did that under someone's order."
"My dad told me about it. I'm just happy that Matthew is safe. Thank you, Chrome."
She smiled in return.
So, that's the new update. I'm still working on the other stories as we speak. Thank you again for sticking around for my silly stories. Show some love by leaving a review, favorite, or follow. I won't disappoint.
