Chapter 19

Ok guys there is going to me lots of text in this chapter. Mostly Kikiyo and Naraku getting to know eath other.

Naraku bought the tickets and food for the movies. It was killing his pocket but luckily he had gotten paid yesterday.

He handed the pop corn and soda to the tall, dark haired women in front of him. Kikiyo wore dark red lip stick that complemented her pale completion nicely. Her outfit consist of a while see through blouse with a white t- shirt under it, long black baggy dress pants, and red platform shoes.

Getting their early they were forced to sit through the credits. The seats they found were at the very back. The theater wasn't that full but they both agreed they were the best seats. It wasn't so bad. Now they had a chance to talk.

"So I hear you have two sisters living with you."

"Yea, we live together. I'm practically raising the youngest. She's a little tom boy."

"I use to be a tom boy myself." She giggled.

"I bet you were."

"So what about you. Any siblings?"

"No I'm an only child. My parents died when I was young and I was raised my grandma. She has recently started living with me again."

"Must have been rough growing up without parents. No wonder you're so strong willed." Naraku inched his hand closer to hers.

"Tell me about your parents."

"Well…. I don't share the same mother as my sisters. None of us have the same mother. My mom divorced my dad right after I was born. My dad had really good lawyers and got full custody. He made sure I never saw her. Same with my sister's mothers"

"Your dad kind of sounds like an ass." She said bluntly. Obviously this women had no problem making her opinion know.

"He was at times but I was the happiest kid in the world. I never wanted for anything. He was a pretty good dad. Sometimes he could be a little strict and demanding but he was supportive and understanding too. He wasn't a cold father either. I got lots of hugs and bed time stories. And if he got a woman pregnant he always took care of the children… financially anyway, even if they weren't married. My sisters are prime examples. Luckily he was always careful and used protection otherwise I have many more siblings."

"It's nice to find someone who doesn't have daddy issues, or mommy issues. You guys sound like a pretty happy family."

"Yea" Naraku smiled to himself. It was nice talking about his father again. He had even so busy he hadn't thought about him in awhile. Soon he would visit him again. Maybe he'd bring Kana. Kagura hated him so she was out of the visit.

"So why don't you come out to drink with me more often. I've invited you before?" He asked.

"Well if you want to know the truth… It's because you're always going out to drink with Rin."

He raised a questionable eyebrow. "Yea, she tags along with Shippo and he tags along with Kouga when I invite him out to drink with me and Bankotsu."

"You see we use to be lovers."

Naraku was glad he wasn't drinking soda, or he would have spit it out. How could cute innocent Rin ever hook up with Kikiyo. Kiyo was sexy, daring, and dangerous. Ah, classic good girl bad boy scene. Or in this case, good girl, bad girl.

"I take it, it didn't end well."

"She didn't want to come out of the closet to her father, and I didn't like always sneaking around, so I ended it. The break up didn't go well. She thought I was being selfish and to demanding. A week later she hooked up with Shippo…."

"Och."

Naraku leaned back and pulled his hand away slightly. "So you're a lesbian."

"I like boys too." She smiled at him.

"One of my friends is bi." He said hoping to reassure her he didn't mind she was bisexual.

"Bankotsu right. I caught him making out with Steven from mailing in the janitor room last year."

That was information Naraku could have gone without knowing.

"I guess everyone knew but me."

She chuckled. "It's common for those closes to be the last to know. You get to close to the painting and you're unable to see the whole picture."

"Nice saying, you make that up yourself?"

"Yea, I thought it was cute."

The movie started and everyone was silent. It was a classic horror ghost movie.
Since Naraku wasn't a teenage boy he wasn't going to yawn, stretch and put his arm over her shoulder. No he was an adult and would settle for touching her hand and gently rubbing her knuckles.

"I think she's possessed." He whispered into her ear.

"Maybe, but I'm not sure."

Once the movie was finished people rushed out to make it to their cars and beat traffic.

Naraku and Kikiyo were still campy walking down the hall way. Since they took the bus they were in no rush.

It would have been a perfect night if they didn't run into…

"Oh Naraku hi. What are you doing here?" Shippo popped out of the crowed suddenly. "Rin was right behind him.

"Good evening Naraku-san." She smiled. That smiled turn upside down when she saw Kikiyo.

"So what are you doing here?"

"Were on a date." Naraku informed them. A smirk formed on his face when Kikiyo hooked her arm around his.

"I knew you two were together." The brunette turned to Rin. "I told you so."

"Well we better leave. Our ride is coming soon." Kikiyo pulled Naraku down the hall.

Rin looked shocked and somewhat angry. Maybe she was jealous that he was dating her x. A little bit of guilt crept into him. The girl may have been to annoyingly happy for him to stand but she had been nice to him when he was sick. But all is fair in love and war.

Walking Kikiyo to her house, he bent his head down and gave her a kiss.

"Most guys hesitate to kiss a girl on the first date."

"I don't hesitate when I want something." Smirking he stepped away.

"I invite you in but my grandma is sleeping."

"I invite you to by place but I have sisters. We will have to find an empty space later."

Waving good bye he turned in left. He had a little spring in his step the entire time home.

….

"So how was your date?" his oldest sister asked.
"It went well."

"So I was talking with Sango and…"

Naraku cut her off. "Stop trying to hook us up. Sango and I are never getting back together. Especial now that I don't have anything to offer her."

"She never cared about that stuff in the beginning. She just wanted your love and loyalty. Apparently one out of two wasn't enough for her." Huffing she turned her head to the side.

"Can we not fight now? Its late and I'm tired."

"Fine but just so you know I invited her over for coffee tomorrow.

Laying face down on the bed Naraku let out a load groan that was muzzled by his pillow
