Hello readers, new and old. Thank you for reviewing, favouriting, following and just reading this story! It makes my heart swell when I see how many of you are enjoying this story. Thank you again! I'm away from college for the next fortnight so I definitely hope to update this more than the once. Sorry for the delay. Life is tricky!

Hermione scowled at herself. Why had she turned into such a pathetic mess when he had pinned her against the wall?! Next time, she would not allow him to dominate her. Growling at her idiotic behaviour, she apparated home.

Hermione opened her flat door in such a way that any witnesses would assume she was practicing to be the fastest Quidditch player. She was still fuming about the way Draco had forced himself on her. It was definitely not acceptable, and she would tell him just that. Kicking her shoes to the side of her apartment, she angrily walked to her desk and began scribing a note to Malfoy.

Mr Malfoy,
It is inappropriate for you to manhandle me in such a foul manner. I hope you feel as though the way in which you acted towards me was appalling and that you intend to apologise me.
In the future, do not under any circumstances corner a woman. It is repugnant and will no way lead to friendship or anything further.
Yours Sincerely,
Miss Granger.

Smiling to herself, she read it back. It definitely would put him in his place. How dare he. Hermione grinned as she knew exactly what she was going to do to get her own back. She threw her letter to Draco to one side and began a new one.

Ginny,
About your offer, I think it would be a fantastic idea.
Let me know times and dates. Also what to wear because frankly, I want to look incredible!
Thank you so much Gin
Love,
Hermione x

Hermione chuckled to herself as she gave the letter for Ginny to her owl, leaving the owl to Draco discarded on her desk. Looking at her watch, she realised it was getting rather late and she had yet to eat. Humming happily to herself, she walked to her kitchen and made herself a simple sandwich – she wasn't too hungry anyway. When she had finished, she cleared up her mess and made her way to her bedroom. She changed into her silk nightdress and clambered into bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was asleep, dreaming of a certain platinum blonde man in various different positions, none of them child friendly.

*A WEEK LATER*

Draco frowned. He hadn't heard from Hermione in over a week. He was beginning to wonder if something had happened. He had owled her several times and he was sure that if he did it again, it would obviously look like he was a stalker or something. He sighed to himself as he stirred his coffee. Not too long ago, she had been in the very same room and they had been teasing each other. What had happened?! She probably remembered who he was – a murderer and a Death Eater. He threw his mug across the room in anger, porcelain and coffee covering all surfaces. He swore to himself and he saw Ditty cowering in the corner of the room.

"I'm sorry Ditty. I guess my emotions just got too much for me." Whipping out his wand, he repaired the mug and cleaned up the coffee. "I'm going to be out for the day." Draco smiled painfully at his companion as he left the room to shower and get dressed. He had no idea what he'd do for the entire day. He didn't really have any friends anymore. After Goyle died in the Room of Requirement, Blaise had become very distant and Crabbe had married a poor girl who seemed to have the patience of a saint. They had even begun a little family of their own. It seemed that the children had mostly inherited from their mother – thank fuck for that. Crabbe did not really have the brains or the brawn but he had been a good and loyal friend. It was a shame that he barely had any time to himself anymore. So with this lack of friends, Draco was often left spending all his time with his mother but even she had friends – often ditching him to have afternoon tea with her girlfriends and sister, Andromeda. But alas, Draco's mother was busy today also so he decided that he would take a trip to Flourish and Blotts – the bookshop in Diagon Alley. It was probably a good idea to buy some new material to distract him from certain *ahem* not-so-bushy-haired-anymore, bushy haired brunettes which seemed to be captivating every second of his attention.

He took a quick shower and got dressed before he grabbed his cloak and apparated to Diagon Alley. He relished the fact that the streets were so quiet; all the children were still at Hogwarts and the majority of adults would be working. He sighed contently as he saw the bookshop, which thankfully, was very empty. People still weren't one hundred percent comfortable with the youngest Malfoy and it was clear why. He had been on the wrong side of the war. Little did they know that he had little choice in that matter; it was either fight on the side of the Dark Lord or to watch his mother being tortured, raped and then killed, slowly and painfully. Frowning, he grabbed hold of the handle and began his search for the newest and best books to keep him preoccupied.

Hermione woke with a start. She had had a peculiar dream and it confused her to no end. Still, today was a big day – her blind date with a mysterious guy that Ginny had picked out. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't excited for it, for she had never been on a blind date before and she was a little nervous that the guy would be weird or worse, nice and who knew where it would lead. What would he expect? A kiss? A full on make-out session? Sex?! Hermione's eyes widened as she worried about the situation. Realising she was being ridiculous, she pulled back her covers and went to take a shower.

While washing her hair, she began to think about who it is Ginny would have picked for her but to no avail. Ginny knew thousands of people. It would be impossible to pick out the date successfully so she decided she'd just have to wait to see. At least Gin had come over and helped her pick out an outfit that would wow her date – a simple pale blue dress and a pair of 3 inch heels. According to her friend, the blue looked great against her skin. Turning off the water, Hermione stepped out of the shower to dry herself.

It was an hour and a half later when Hermione Granger finally thought that her outfit was acceptable. It had taken her far too long to sort her hair into a half up, half down do but it definitely did look good. She grabbed her coat and bag before apparating to the Cackling Cauldrons on the main street. Looking around, she noticed Ginny was sat at a table for 3, sipping a glass of what appeared to be a firewhiskey, but it was only 10am, it was unlikely that Ginny was drinking such heavy stuff this early in the day. Hermione frowned. "Then again..." She thought, "Gin is partial to a drink."

Pulling out a chair and sitting down, Hermione asked her friend where this blind date was when a voice answered for her.

"Miss Hermione Granger. Never thought I'd see the day that she would go on a blind date." His Scottish accent making her heart race. Surely not? She questioned to herself. Spinning round, she found him with a grin on his face. Exactly how she remembered him.

Oliver Wood.

He captivated her heart before anyone else had. His accent did wicked things to her brain, rendering her somewhat useless. Hermione had remembered that as a teenager, she had spent many evenings by herself, thinking of Oliver and his *ahem* wood. Smiling to herself, she leapt up and wrapped her arms around him.

"Oliver! How fantastic it is to see you!" She kissed his cheek and gave him a huge grin. She had not seen him since the end of the war and she had certainly missed his gorgeous face.

"I never expected this greeting." He winked and stroked her cheek. Wrapping one arm around her waist, pulling her tight, he spoke to Ginny who sat bemused, staring at the couple in wonder. "Well, Ginny, thank you for arranging this but I've made plans and we must stick to the schedule." With that, they apparated, leaving Ginny confused and curious.

They had to have had something happen between the two. They were never that close before. Making it her business to find out what, she threw down some galleons and left the cafe.
