(OC POV)
"Uh oh, you guys are in deep frag now." I whispered to Ratchet as I kept my optics on my mother, the femme slowly stepping into the room as she kept her gaze on the medic.
"Femme, this is not what it looks like. We found her alone and brought her here to help her heal, that is all." the medic said as he raised his servos in a non-threatening way, my mother coming to my side as she glared at the medic venomously.
"Are you alright, Skystreak?" she murmured as she risked a glance at my form, her gaze becoming soft as relief etched onto her features at my safety.
"I'm alright mom, just a little sur-" I was interrupted as Optimus came into the room, a mech being carried in his arms as he scanned him with worry.
"Ratchet, Sunstreaker is badly dam-" Optimus stopped as he realized my mother and I were still in here, my optics widening as I realized Sunny was bleeding heavily and in stasis lock.
"Frag!" Ratchet said as he ushered Optimus to put the front-liner down, immediately hooking him up to an energon line as he gathered his tools.
"Mother...did you do that to him?" I whispered as I refused to drag my optics away from his frame, hearing my mother shift as she set a servo on my arm gently.
"I had to get to you sweetspark...do you know him?" she said quietly, her tone more than a little confused as I felt her glance between him and I.
"I love him." I whispered as I watched Ratchet work to save him, my mother's servo falling from my arm in surprise as I heard her light gasp. Optimus glanced at us, his optics focusing on my mother as I felt her shift once again.
"Nightwave..." he whispered as his gaze became soft, his battle mask retracting so we could see the gentle smile that adorned his lipplates. My mother stiffened when my gaze turned towards her, a scowl on her features as she glared at the Prime angrily.
"Prime." she muttered before she turned her back on him, my eyebrow rising as I realized she broke her number one rule in that moment. Before I could comment, the doors once again slammed open, a tall lean mech standing in the doorway with a visor covering his faceplates.
"Uncle!" I yelled before I launched myself at the man who helped raise me, his arms immediately coming around me to hold me to his frame tightly. In a rare show of affection he nuzzled the top of my helm, his warm frame making me smile at the familiarity as I felt him look at my mother.
"Let's go." she said before she moved past us, my optics opening as I felt a ground bridge open up behind my uncle immediately. He turned to walk through with me in his arms, my optics catching Optimus' gaze as he watched us disappear sadly. Once his face disappeared the walls of the Nemesis took its place, my optics widening as suddenly Skywarp was too close to my face for any comfort.
"Yo, get up out my grill!" I barked out using one of the smaller twins' lines, Skywarp jumping before he stumbled back at the loud tone I used on him. A laugh burst out of me at the way he looked scared, an annoyed look crossing his features as he glared at me and crossed his arms.
"Well sorry if I was worried for you!" he said as he sniffed and turned on his heel, walking off down the hallway without another word as Thundercracker walked up.
"Is he being a drama-queen again?" the mech said as Soundwave let me go, Thundercracker hugging me to him the moment my pedes touched the ground.
"When isn't he?" I countered as I hugged him back tightly, sniffling as I felt the protection of one I would call my brother as he kissed the top of my helm.
"Very true. Starscream is being a grump again, apparently Lord Soundwave put him on 'time-out'." Thundercracker said with a disgruntled look on his features, a laugh bursting out of me at the thought of Starscream on a chair in a corner with a dunce hat on his helm.
"Oh wow, that image will give me a laugh for a long time to come." I said with a snicker as Thundercracker rolled his eyes good-naturedly, wrapping his arm around my shoulder before winking at my mother and leading me away.
"Come on, tell me all about your visit with the Autobot's. They treated you right, correct?" he said as he nodded to those who bowed towards him, his postition as third-in-command highly respected as the other 'Con's paid him respects.
"Of course, their Autobot's after all ya know. All in all, it was really boring. Too many rules and not enough loopholes, though with all the pranksters there I wasn't too surprised." I said with an eye roll as Thundercracker pulled me into the rec room, the wolf whistles echoing throughout the space as soon as the mechs saw me.
"Hey! Respect her or I'll have you in the brig!" Thundercracker barked out with an annoyed expression, the mechs turning away obediently after grumbling something that was probably insulting.
"Mechs, their all the same." I said with an innocent smile towards my brother, skipping out of is embrace before he started protesting that statement to no avail.
(5 Hours Later)
I collapsed on my berth with a long-suffering sigh, finally managing to get away from my overbearing adopted brother for more than a few minutes.
"Thank Primus." I muttered as I curled up with the intent to go to sleep, groaning in frustration when I heard a light knock at my door seconds later.
"Who is it?" I barked out in irritation, covering my faceplates with a large pillow my father had found for me when I conveyed my like for them.
"Your mother." a familiar voice said from behind the door, my optics widening as I immediately sat up and blushed bashfully at my tone.
"Come in!" I said quickly as I rubbed the back of my neck, my mother walking in with a soft smile and coming up to me as the door closed.
"We need to talk, sweetspark." she murmured as she sat on my berth next to me, my optics narrowing in confusion as I tilted my helm and watched her stare off into nowhere.
"About what?" I said quietly, watching as a sigh escaped from her before she finally caught my gaze with hers.
"This Sunstreaker mech. The one you...love." she said with narrowed optics, my own widening as I inwardly cursed at my foolishness in saying that in front of her.
A/N: Sorry for the long wait! :(
