(OC POV)
I whistled as I made my way down the long corridor, relishing in my newfound ability after trying countless times to maneuver my lip plates into the right position. Jazz glanced at me with a quizzical raised brow ridge though he said nothing and kept walking, both of us stopping when the taller Sunstreaker stepped out of a doorway and straight into our path. Before I could turn tail and walk away Jazz flicked his servo out and grabbed my wrist joint, a cringe crossing my features when the move made a banging sound. I turned my iciest glare onto the saboteur because I knew for a damn fact that he wouldn't have made that noise unless it was intentional, my attention quickly directing to the glare of a certain golden mech that was burning into the side of my helm.
"Sunstreaker. How ya doing?" Jazz said smoothly as he tightened his hold on my wrist joint when I subtly (not really) tried to yank my servo back, Sunstreaker's bright blue gaze locking onto the movement though he merely scowled at me and turned his attention to the smaller Jazz.
"Same as every other time you ask." He said before turning and walking down the hallway, his pristine form turning the corner and disappearing quickly.
"Dammit Jazz!" I hissed out before forcibly yanking my wrist joint out of his servo, knowing in the back of my mind that the only reason I was able to is because he let me.
"Language." Ironhide muttered as he passed by with his optics focused on his cannon, the blue orbs rising slightly to wink at me playfully before his attention left me again. I narrowed my eyes and stuck my tongue out at his back in retaliation, his 'I saw that!' comment afterwards making me glad that Optimus told him who I was and we were back to the way we were before.
"You have to talk to him eventually Skystreak. Do you want to go the rest of your lives with him hating you and your secret eating you up inside? I know I wouldn't, us Cybertronians' live a lot longer than the humans. Just think about it." The mech said with a soft smile and a pat to my shoulder before turning and heading back the way we came, a huff leaving me as I realized he was right but I didn't want to admit to myself. With a sad frown I made my way off the base and out into the night, trudging slowly to the cliff that Sunstreaker and me used to go to when we needed time to ourselves. I was so deep into my thoughts that I didn't realize that I wasn't alone, the rev of an engine causing me to skid to a stop in surprise and ended up tripping over myself and onto the ground.
"Scrap." I whispered to myself and got up onto my hands and knees, grimacing when I felt something lodged into my side plating and pinching a nerve. The sounds of someone transforming brought me out of my mind, my helm rising and my eyes locking with cold angry blue ones that belonged to a glistening golden frame.
"What are you doing here scrap metal?" Sunstreaker said as he watched me dust myself off arrogantly, the familiar setting from when we first met causing my spark to wrench in agony at the refusal to hug him tightly.
"I miss it." I said quietly in response, half of me hoping he heard me and the other half hoping he storms off and doesn't even care what I do.
"Miss what?" he growled out as his arms fell from his chest to his sides as he clenched his fists, my brow ridge rising inquisitively though I said nothing and got to my feet. Inwardly I fought with myself on whether or not I should tell him what was really going on, weighing the pro's and con's before nodding to myself when I finally made a decision.
"Miss when we would sit out here and watch the sunset dip beneath the water…I remember one time I asked you 'Out of all the world's you visited, which one was the most beautiful?' and you told me 'Earth, because it brought me to you.' And then we kissed as the sun disappeared. I always thought it was a bit cheesy but it was always my most treasured memory of us." I said softly as I glanced at the sun that was dipping into the water like it was that day, a hiss leaving the golden mech as his optics widened in disbelieve when he put the facts together and realized who I was.
"A-Abigail? But…but you're dead!" he said eloquently (as if) after a few moments of hesitation, one of his servos subconsciously coming up to clench at his chest plates as if he was experiencing some type of pain.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." I said before leaping into the sky and transforming into my jet form, Sunstreaker's calls being left behind as I shot off into the distance to try and run away from my past and the pain I thought was coming.
