A Horrible Discovery
Outside of China in a large forest, Ming was looking over the bushed to see the Hun Camp down a hill below.
"Wow, that was easy enough." Ming remarked, looking over to Gleam who was right next to her. Gleam gave out a blunt snort
"Hey, I hadn't even gone into the camp and you're still judging me?" Ming asked exhausted from Gleam's worries.
Gleam snorted again.
"Well, I'll show you. I'm going to walk right in there, get my father back and make sure my mother doesn't give her head to those Huns!" Ming said stubbornly as she grabbed her horse's reins and began to lead her down the hill. "Besides, no one can after me yet, so there's nothing-"
"AH-HA!" Ming jumped when she heard that loud yell. However a look from Gleam that said 'You were saying?', it didn't take Ming long enough on who came after her.
"Ah, Shāle wǒ" She mutter with her shoulders slumping. When she turned around she saw an very angry Mushu and Cri-Kee standing on a rock.
"Okay," Ming began, acting casually like she got caught for stealing something that wasn't that important. "What did I do now to make you two come all the way to Mongolia to get me?"
"Come all to Mongolia?" Mushu asked, playing her game. "Oh let me see, maybe we came to see the Gobi Desert, heard it's lovely this time of year-WHY DID YOU THINK WE CAME ALL THE WAY HERE?!" His tone started off light heartily and sarcastic, but ended with him yelling at her.
"You are crazy young lady," While Mushu was continuing his rant, he walked over to Ming and grabbed the hems of her skirt and began to walk away from the camp, even though Ming was hardly moving from his attempts. "I can't even believe that you would do this! I mean, I knew you're a lot like your mother, but even Mulan would never do something like this!"
"Uh, Mushu," Ming began, looking amused at his antics to get her to come home, "You do realize I'm not going anywhere?"
That made Mushu stop as he turn to see he and Ming were still on the same spot. "Oh, right..."
"Look Mushu, if you're hear to bring me back, then I guess you can tell Mom I won't come back until I have Dad." Ming said as she took Gleam's reins and began to head towards the camp again.
"Now wait right there, young lady!" Mushu said sternly as he and Cri-Kee showed up right in front of Ming's face.
"Oh, what now?" Ming moaned while rolling her eyes.
"If you think we're letting you go right in the den of the Huns, then you got another thing coming!" Mushu said while waving his finger at her face with Cri-Kee chirping at her. Though Ming hardly looked threaten.
"Look, Ming," Mushu began more softly. "I know how close you and Shang are, but you can't always suspect to do things that are impossible." That made Ming roll her eyes and cross her arms. "Just let the Imperial Troops and the Ancestors take care of-"
"The ANCESTORS!?" Ming yelled, startling Mushu and Cri-Kee at the sudden change of Ming's mode, which made them fall to the ground.
"Oh, I forgot she hates them..." Mushu remember, but that didn't stop Ming.
"Mushu, you know I have a good reason to not trust them!" She yelled as she began to pace around. "They are idiotic, self-absorbed, and deeply shallow! And not mention they are BIG-OAFS!" The last part was a screamed when Ming looked up into the sky like she knew the Ancestors could hear her.
Back in China at the Li Family Temple, the spirit of Mulan's Great Grandfather was taking a nap when he suddenly woke up.
"Did I just heard Li Ming called us big oafs?" He asked himself, before shrugging and went back to his nap.
"Okay, Ming," Mushu began after he and Cri-Kee overcoming their wide eye shocked faces when Ming actually insulted her own Ancestors. "I get it, you hate the Ancestors after, what happen..." He slightly winced at the memory where Ming found out their true nature. "But at least give the Troops a chance."
"Yeah right," Ming huffed, blowing her lose lock away from her eyes, but it just went back to it's original spot.
Mushu sighed, "I don't what else to convince you to come back." He said miserably.
"Mushu, if you're dad was capture, won't you give anything to save him?" Ming asked desperately.
"Oh I don't know," Mushu grumbled as he sat down on a rock, "I never met my dad."
"Mushu, I'm..." Ming began, suddenly began to feel remorse for her 'guardian.'
"Ah...it's alright, you have your Dad, so that's all that matters." He reassure her, "And if you still up with getting into the Hun camp, then I guess you can do it."
"Wait, what?" Ming asked, unsure at what she just heard while Cri-Kee and Gleam stare at Mushu jaw drop.
"You can go," Mushu said with a warm smile, "I know how much Pretty Boy means to you, so I won't stop you."
"Thanks Mushu," Ming said, returning the smile as she went on her knees to be close to Mushu's height. "You know, you and Cri-Kee can come with me if you want."
"Really?" He asked, both he and Cri-Kee looking a little hopeful.
"Yeah, that way you won't have to face Mom's wrath when you don't come home with me." She added jokily.
"Thanks, Ming!" Mushu yelped as he and Cri-Kee climb up her shoulders. "Um, you do realize I have to face both of your mother's and your father's wrath when all of this is over."
"Don't worry, I'll just say I knock you out for hours." Ming said as she lead Gleam towards the camp.
After making sure Gleam was secure at the Hun's stables, Ming made her way around the Hun Camp.
It look surprisingly a lot like her father's training camp, except looking a bit more savage. The tents here were just old dirty rags that are held up by pole and pins. The area they were in was mostly just dirt and dust. When she saw what the Huns were doing, all they did was mostly wrestling.
"Man, I wonder how you're going to blend in to all of this?" Mushu groaned as he and Ming watch a skinny Hun getting beaten down by a bigger Hun.
"Please, they remind me of the Princes and Uncle Ling, Yao, and Chien-Po." Ming said with a wave of her hand as she walked away.
"So, remind me how are you going to rescue Shang?" He asked after a bit of exploring.
"It's easy, first I blend in, then I find dad, and we high tail it out of here." Ming said while ironically dodging all the punches and kicks that were heading her way.
"That's it?" Mushu asked her like she gone mad, "That's your whole plan?"
"Hey, you know me. My ideas always turn out well in the end."
"Yeah, I know..."
Ming laughs a bit at his insecureness, before she stopped at a sight before.
"Give it back!"
"Sorry babies! Not going to happen!"
"Our Momma gave us that!"
"Which is the reason why you two are babies!"
What Ming saw was two Huns, a athletic Hun with a large 6'4 ft Hun trying to grab something that a Hun that look about the size of the Hulk Man Ming fought at the Spring Festival. And from the looks of it, that Hulk Hun was taking things way to far.
"Aw...What's the matter, want your toy back?" The Hulk Man asked the two Huns in a baby voice. They both quickly nodded, hoping he would give it back.
"Well, why don't you go ask your Mommy to get it back! Oh wait, she can't!" He laughed at his own cruel joke.
"Alright, that's it pal!" Ming looked over to see a small midget Hun walking right up to the Hulk Hun. "Give back my friends' Tinker!"
"Oh, go down a road, Munchkin!" The Hulk Man groaned, picking the Midget Hun up and throwing him away, but only to be caught by the Athletic Hun.
"Listen here, Sir.." An skinny Hun that sounds a little like snake walked right up the Hulk Man, but he was soon tossed aside and landed on the Large Hun.
"You listen here, brats," The Hulk Hun said as he began to walk threateningly over to them, "I had it up to here, so say-" Just as he lift his fist and began to raise it down, a small slender hand came out and grabbed his wrist, stopping it mid-swing.
"What the-" The Hulk Hun said confused, before the hand pulled him downwards, making himself face-to-face with any angry looking Ming.
"Hey! You're just a-" But before he could finish, Ming twist his arm, making him scream.
"You think it's funny taking something that doesn't belong to you?" Ming growled at him. The Hulk Hun shook his head in fear.
"Then why don't you give it back?" Ming reached her hand out, and the Hulk Hun dropped the Tinker into her hand. "Good, now go away!" After saying that, Ming put his arm around his back and pushed him away and into a pile of garbage.
Taking deep breathes, Ming walked over to the four Huns, who were staring wide eye at the small girl who was able to defeat a man ten times her size.
"I believe this is yours?" She asked casually as she handed the Tinker towards the Athletic Hun.
"Uh...thanks.." The Athletic Hun trailed off, not getting her name.
"Oh, I'm Ming." She introduced herself.
"I'm Shin," The Athletic Hun known as Shin said, sticking his hand out to shake, which Ming glad accept.
"Me Booboo!" Shouted the large Hun as he suddenly took Ming's hand and began to shake it rapidly.
"Arm! Arm! ARM!"
"Alright, Booboo," The Midget Hun said, pulling Booboo's hand away from Ming, who began to adjust her shoulder from all the shaking. "Let go before you break her arm off."
"Oh! Booboo sorry!" Booboo said, putting his hands together and bow.
"Oh, that's alright, big fella." Ming said a grin as she continue to adjust her shoulder.
"Sorry about him," The Midget Hun said, "He can be very excitable sometimes."
"You're telling me?!" Ming whisper-yelled.
"I'm Po," Po stuck his hand out for her to shake.
"Ming." She shook his hand.
"And I'm Mow," the Skinny Hun bowed.
"I have to say Ming," Shin began with an impress look, "You sure are strong enough to beat Mongo."
"You mean that rude guy that was harassing you guys?" Ming asked, pointing to where she'd thrown Mongo.
"Yeah, but you didn't have to do that you know?"
"Hey, if somebody stole something my dad gave to me, I would've done worse than what I've did to Mongo." Ming remarked, making the men around her laugh.
"Ha! You're a killer Ming!" Po said heartily, "Girls here are just silent and just do what they're told."
"Yeah, I bet it would be a more fun place if woman were like Fa Mulan and that daughter of hers." Shin said.
"Um..." Ming began, not knowing that these Huns know that Mulan has a daughter. "You've heard of Mulan and her daughter?"
"Yeah, that woman warrior? Yeah, if you ask me, she's probably the best thing that happened." Shin remarked.
"Wow, I never knew some Huns actually liked Mulan." Ming said, actually astonished.
"Well, I think Shan-Yu actually look better being tied to a rocket." Mow said, making all of them laugh.
"Maybe they should rather call Shan-Boom?" At that comment from Ming, it made all laugh to the point to they almost hit the ground.
"Say Ming, are you one of the new servant girls?" Mow asked after they calm down.
"Oh...Yes I am!" Ming said quickly.
"Yay! We get to see Ming and have more fun!" Booboo shouted excitedly.
"It's not fun here?"
"Not after Dei Rein hired a new captain." Shin explained.
"New Captain?"
"Yeah, we had no idea where he came from. And the strangest thing is, you look a lot like him."
"Really?" Ming asked with a raise eyebrow. The only person who looks a lot like her is her father, but there was no way her Dad can be a Hun Captain!
"Well, he's not here now, so there's nothing-" Before Shin could finish, someone shouted.
"There they are Captain!" The voice belonged to Mongo, but who was with him scared the living daylight out of them.
"The Captain!" Booboo screamed pointing behind Ming.
"Oh calm down you four," Ming said bluntly, "I bet I've seen things worse than the-AH!" Ming jumped in shock and horror at what she saw. The Captain of the Huns was non-other than her own father, Li Shang.
