I only own Raina. Everything else belongs to their original owners.
Flames are not welcomed here, but constructive criticism is. I would also like to ask for reviews (not necessary but much appreciated). They help inspire me to write more, and faster.
Please do forgive me for bad grammar or missing words...My eyes don't see them, or my mind is totally oblivious to the fact that my hands missed some words.
I'm mainly going off of memory, so it's not going to be spot on script...after all that would be boring as well.
So, let the story begin!
"My child," I heard a deep soothing voice say. It sounded a little like Optimus, but much more...wise? Yeah, I'll stick with that. It also sounded...familiar. Like I know it from somewhere...A chuckle. "I would hope you still remember me my child."
That was when I opened my eyes, squinting slightly. A tall shadow blocked out the light rays, helping me focus. "Thank you," I said as I was offered something to help me stand. I blinked and rubbed my eyes, focusing now. "Whoa...Primus?" I asked confused. 'How...did I know that name?' I thought. I huffed as I heard the tall being laugh again.
"You know me from when you were being born my child," He said giving me a smile. "Then again..I'm not surprised you don't fully remember me, it has been a long time. You were so little when you first heard me. But now is not the time to reminisce. I need you to do me a few favors."
I nodded, eager to help in any way. "Tell me what I must do," I said eagerly.
Primus chuckled. "I need you to..."
I blink, feeling someone softly shaking me. "Raina?" I hear Sam ask.
"Hmm?" I ask sleepily. "I was having a wonderful dream..."I said sitting up, rubbing my eyes. I see the worried faces of Sam and Mikaela, two knew people, and pilots. I blink, the dream rushing back to me. I sighed. It was a hard task indeed...but I needed to do it. I looked back to Sam. "Sorry...What was that?"
"Are you okay? You got hit by the freezing thinga-ma-bobs that those guys were using. You passed out almost instantly..." He said trailing off.
"Yeah, I'll be okay. I was running low on energy from everything going on...As well as the sickness," I said as I leaned back. "I'm feeling a lot better now though since my unintentional nap. Where are we going?" I asked.
Sam and Mikaela shrugged. They then introduced me to Maggie and Glen. I liked these two instantly, we'd get along great. My mind then wondered to Bumblebee and the others. Were they okay? Did they all make it out okay? Were they going to be okay once everything came to pass? I hoped so...
I sighed before looking outside, nearly screeching and clinged to Sam. I buried my face in his jacket, making him start to laugh. "Shut it Sam..." I whined.
"What's wrong?" Mikaela asked, sounding like she wanted to laugh...though the concern held her back.
"She just noticed that we're in a helicopter..and she hates heights," Sam chortled out. This made everyone else laugh as well. I merely groaned.
"Don't make me throw up on you," I groaned out before feeling the helicopter jostle.
A few moments later, Sam pat me on the back. "We're on solid ground again," Sam said with a sigh.
After getting unstrapped, I dropped the helmet, and was of the helicopter in a moment's notice. "Freedom from the horrid skies!" I cheered, gaining a few looks and another laugh from the group of four.
"It really isn't that bad," Maggie said as she calmed her giggling.
"It is when you become frozen..." I murmured as I looked around us. I felt a twitch start up as I saw the government standard black cars. I shook my head as we were sent to cars. After a little bit, we ended up at the Hoover Dam.
We got out of the cars, Sam and Mikaela acting like tourists as they headed to the sides. I stayed put, looking out of place like a statue. My two worst fears right next to each other. Deep water and heights. Sam finally noticed that I was now a rigid statue, eyes staring straight ahead and wide.
Sam huffed, having to drag me when we saw Simmons and another guy. The two conversed, Sam demanding us to be taken to Bumblebee and Mikaela's juvenile records to be erased.
"Huh...I didn't know you had that..." I said quietly so only she heard. She gave a small shake of her head.
"You've missed a lot of explaining then." She said with a grin.
"Will you tell me when things have settled?" I asked hopefully. She nodded.
We then began to follow Simmons and the other guy inside. My demeanor changed as we slowly closed in, being joined by military men.
'My mission is now afoot. I will not fail you Primus,' I thought to myself, as we entered the building.
