"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Gou shouts in disbelief as she dodges the skeleton's swings with its sharp boney fingers. "Oh my god, I think it still has flesh on it!" She shouts in disgust. Bo laughs really hard as she watches Gou run around trying to get away from it.
"Oh my god, this so funny, haha!" Bo laughs and holds her sides. "It hurts, haha!"
"Bitch this isn't funny!"
"Sorry I mean hilarious!" Bo could barely breathe. She collapse to the ground and rolls on her back.
"I hate you! Help me now!" Gou says angrily.
"How the hell are we suppose to take care of it if we don't know how!?" Bo points out.
"Doesn't your books have anything!?"
"They say a lot of things but nothing about the undead!"
"Are you for real!?"
"For real! But come on this is really sick. I mean the undead! Plus I think it likes you!" Bo shouts in excitement.
"Shut up!" The skeleton launches itself towards Gou, pinning her down on the ground. "Help me!" Gou screams while trying to pushing the skeleton's arms away from her by grabbing its wrists. The skeleton hisses and continues to force its arms downward to Gou. Then Bo runs towards them and kicks the skeleton's head right off its body. The skeleton stops and gets up. It walks over to its severed head and puts it right back on. Then its body positioned itself to face Bo.
"Oh god damn it." Bo muttered and started to run.
"See I told you so!"
"This so very…interesting?" mutters a man in a tree, watching them with a puzzled look. "These girls are very unprofessional. This is more like a comedy than an action." He twiddles with a chain in his hands and moves his long black hair back as he continues to watch from above.
"Where's water when you need it!?" Bo shouts as she runs around in circles to avoid the skeleton.
"Serves you right!" Gou says as she laughs. Suddenly the skeleton stops moving and stands there like a statue.
"What's going on with the thing?" Gou mumbles as she looks at the skeleton puzzled by its sudden stop.
"Did it get tired or something?" Bo asks as she slowly walks to Gou's side. It seemed to look up at the sky. The girls follow its gaze and find a full moon right above their heads.
Then it started to sing.
"Too sad we parted in yon shady glen,on the steep sides of Ben Lomond.Where the broken heart knows no second spring, resigned we must be while were parting." It sang in a soft mellow voice.
"Wow that's really beautiful…" Gou says amazed by the singing. The skeleton pauses for a moment as if it was trying to remember the words.
"You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road," sang Bo as she steps towards the skeleton, "and I'll be in Scotland before you. Where me and my true love will never meet again, on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond." She stops moving and stands few inches away from it.
"By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes, where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond.Where me and me true love spent many dayson the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond." The skeleton started to sing again.
"Too sad we parted in yon shady glen, on the steep sides of Ben Lomond. Where the broken heart knows no second spring, resigned we must be while were parting." They both sang together as the skeleton sang low and Bo sang high. Then Gou walks up to them and joins them in the song.
"You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road," they sang in perfect harmony, "and I'll be in Scotland before you. Where me and my true love will never meet again, on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond." They sang the song over and over. Bo and Gou got into it by one of them holding or on some of the words while the skeleton swayed a bit.
Then they all stopped singing and the mist rises again. But then, mist swirls around the skeleton, enveloping it in white. The mist starts to fade, revealing a young woman with long black hair and a white kimono.
"I haven't sung like that in a very long time." She said with a smile. "Thank you." She said as she looked up at the moon. "I used to sing that song with my lover. We would always sing it and never get tired of it. We would sing it especially on a full moon. He snuck onto an English boat and sailed here. He was so lost when I met him. We had a language barrier but we understood each other in a way. We talked for hours and hours. We fell in love and he stayed with me. Then he went to the market and…never came back." She says as she starts to tear up. She covers her move, trying to hold back from crying.
"I've been waiting here for so long for him to return. I longed for him so much but singing with two made me realize that he will never come back. I'll never get to sing with him again. There's no more reason to stay. That man in chains is a liar." She said.
"Man in chains? What do you mean?" Gou asked her.
"A man who calls himself Hex told me that if I caused a ruckus, my lover will come. But I guess I did all that for nothing. Maybe I can finally go to sleep." The woman said as she heads towards the hole she came out of.
"Wait!" Bo shouts to the woman. "Is there anything else you can tell us?"
"I'm sorry," the woman bows. "That's all I really know." She gives a sad smile and slowly descends into the hole.
"Thank you…" the woman says and glows bright and turns into mist.
"Oh my…" Gou says as she wipes tears from her eyes. "That's so sad! What a love story!" Gou wails loudly. Bo gently pats her back, trying to calm her down.
"Let's go home. We got school tomorrow." Bo says kindly and they walked down the mountain. Suddenly Bo almost falls to the ground. She was able to catch herself with her feet but she covers her mouth and hugs her stomach.
"What's wrong?" Gou shouts worriedly.
"It's nothing, just my vibes is all." Bo answers.
"Why would your vibes be acting up? Is someone else here?" Gou wonders and looks around but sees nothing.
"I'm fine. Come on let's go before we get in trouble." Bo says groaning as she gets up.
They were silent down the hill till Gou speaks up.
"That poor woman, all see wanted is to see her lover again. I understand how she feels."
"What do you mean?"
"If Makoto disappeared one day, I would go crazy. I would do anything to see him again."
"You are so in love." Bo laughs a little.
"Well we have known each other since we were kids and we have kissed and-"
"Wait hold up. You guys kissed? You guys dating now?" Bo raises her eyebrows.
"Well no. It just kind of happened when we were dealing with that Golem." Gou awkwardly scratches her head.
"Okay, back the truck up; you've guys made out but you aren't dating?" Bo stopped walking and gave Gou a look of disbelief.
"Yeah." Gou pouts. They became silent again.
"Do you want to hang out this weekend?" Bo asks suddenly.
"Uh, sure okay." Gou agrees. "Where do you want to go?"
"The park on Saturday at noon. Make sure you don't be late!"
"I won't!"
They talked happily as they make plans on their way home.
At a Church…
"There are demons amongst us!" shouted a man in a black robe. He grabs his head as he starts to mumble incoherently uncontrollably as he looks pictures of two girls with flippers and scaly skin. "They should be destroyed before they taint this Earth with their vile! Thank you so much young man!"
"It's no problem Father Hinata. My family is scared that these girls will sacrifice us to the Devil! I have also seen them around my school. I think their names are Matsuoka Gou and Watanabe Boboa. I want to protect my classmates and my teachers too! I hope you can take care of them." says a man with a red cap in a green T-shirt and jeans.
"Of course I will! I will send them back to the pits of Hell!" he shouted.
"Father!" the man says seeming relieved. "Please do the best you can and get rid of these hideous creatures!" the man bows deeply.
"Don't worry my son." The priest says to the man and gently puts his hands on his shoulders. "I will get rid of them. Now get home or else your family will think you were sacrificed by those demons." says the priest as he pats the man's shoulders.
As the man leaves the church, rips off the rep cap, letting his long black hair down to his waist.
"Ugh, I hate hats." He mutters. He burns off the T-shirt and jeans, revealing tight leather jeans and a tight long-sleeved black shirt. Spikes appeared on his collar and bracelets. Long chains wrapped around his arms and legs with some hanging down to the ground. Then his black combat boots appeared all tied up.
"Oh I need a mirror…" He mutters again as he looks for something he can look into. He eyes caught sight of a puddle and looks down into it. His eyes were glowing red-orange, lighting up his pale skin.
"Oh Hex needs a tan. Pale skin is a no-no." He whines. He looks back at the church and starts to giggle. "That old fart is crazy but he'll work just fine. I wonder if they can take care of another human being." He mumbles to himself then disappears into this air.
