It was funny how a simple story could change a person's view of you. Worlds had be changed, and armies had been moved with nothing but a personal account from a simple creditable source. For such monumental changes to take place more often then not they need to be finalized through visual proof.

One such change occurred when the Titan's jaws dropped as Danny showed them the scar he got when he fought on the outskirts of Atlantis.

"No way…" Beastboy said looking at the jagged scar that reached across Danny's back.

"I told you." Danny said lowering his shirt and putting his cap back on. "The guy tried to impale me after I blasted his ship. How was I supposed to know it belong to someone? The place was a wreck! Thankfully I don't need to breath underwater and the Van we ah, commandeered," Danny winched at the Robin's look, "was water proof."

"If the ship was so broken why did he want it?" Starfire asked completely enwrapped in their story.

Sam snorted crossing her arms as they walked, "The guy had a pot belly, and was balding. I'm guessing a mid-life crisis project."

Tucker hummed gently taping the mosquito bot dubbed Jessica on the head, "Well he was saying how he just needed one more part to fix it." Tucker scoffed, "Yeah if that one part was a hardware store."

"So," Raven asked steering the conversation back, "what happened then?"

Awkwardly Danny began to laugh trying not to look guilty as he floated alongside them, "Before I begin let me get one thing clear. What happened next was totally an accident."

"Like how you accidently sent an eighteen wheeler barreling into that Denny's?" Robin asked thoroughly disappointed in the way that they had escaped the casino mobsters.

"Right~" Danny said hissing at the unpleasant memory, "Ok, getting to the point. I used my ghostly wail to blast the Atlantean away, but I didn't account for how loose the ocean floor's sand is." Danny explained voice quickening, "Long story short I created a sandstorm that sent Atlantis into four days of darkness and howling unwater current."

"That was you!" Starfire exclaimed angrily blocking Danny's path, "Friend Aqua Lad came to us hoping that we could help to dig the Atlantis out!"

"He did?" Danny squeaked putting some distance between him and Starfire's anger.

"Yes! We thought it was the natural disasters, but it was you, you Bogernuant!" Starfire shouted. "You must apologize to him."

"I will, I promise!" Danny put both hands up in an attempt to calm her down, "What happened was totally my bad, and I will apologize in person."

Tucker sighed scratching the mosquito bot under her chin. "Danny, Danny, Danny, must you create destruction where ever you go?" He mockingly shook his head ignoring the glare Danny shot him, "Well it could have been worse. I mean you guys did help stop the storm right?"

"No." Robin said, face taunt as he tasted the displeasing memory, "We couldn't do anything. The Justice League were the ones who stopped the storm." Danny, Tucker and Sam stiffened, "From what I saw Aquaman, that's the King of Atlantis and the Seven Seas if you didn't already know, was not happy at the destruction done to his city. Especially since he has young children."

Face pale Danny sputtered, "W-well," he said coughing to gain control of his voice, "maybe I will just send him a letter."

Cyborg raised an eyebrow, "You're going to send a paper note to the King of an underwater kingdom."

"What you think an email would be better?" Danny asked snidely.

"Enough!" Robin snapped holding the bridge of his nose in irritation, "We will talk about your apology after we get out of this base." Robin said before turning to Raven once again relying on her dark other-worldly powers, "Do you sense anything?"

"No, but I see a door." Raven deadpanned pointing ahead. Before them the lit hallway ended, a single metal door stood proudly daring them to try and get past it.

"I have a feeling that just pushing the door open would be a bad idea." Cyborg said

Robin nodded glaring at it, "Knowing Slade the door is booby-trapped. It's going to take some time to get past it."

Danny smirked, unearthly colour coming back to his face as he sashayed up to the door, "Allow me." He said easily passing through the metal. With a soft hiss the door opened revealing Danny leaning smugly against the frame, "You called for a lock-pick, and trap detector?"

Unamused Beastboy snorted, "Show off."

Danny smile dropped, "I'm not a show off."

"Dude," Tucker countered, "You're posing."

Danny righted himself with a huff and walked deeper into the lit room, "You're just jealous."

"Of what? That all of Amity knows what your tighty-whitey's look like." Tucker asked a smirk playing at his lips.

Danny turn on Tucker a green blush forming at his face, "Tucker, no."

"Tighty-whities?" Starfire asked in confusion as horror crossed Danny's face, "Why would they know about the whiteness of Danny's tights?"

A sly look crossed Tucker's face, "That's right you wouldn't know about the first few weeks after Danny got his powers."

Sam smile was just as sly as she enjoyed Danny's embarrassment, "To start, Danny's tighty's were always white…"

"Hey!" Danny exclaimed, face burning green, "Look it's our stuff!"

They looked over to where Danny pointed to see multiple tables covered with weapons and technology.

Sam's eyes widened as she took in the table overflowing with weapons and gadgets, "It's our stuff!"

"It is? I mean it is!" Danny exclaimed sweating at the skeptical looks directed his way.

"Clair!" Tucker said descending on the table, "Oh my poor baby, Daddy missed you so much." Tucker said picking up his P.D.A.

Sam chagrined as Tucker began to kiss the device, "Don't you think that's a little much?"

"Don't you think you're stroking you gun a little too intimately?" Tucker snarked back.

Sam looked down to see that she had been holding her blaster a little too closely, "I'm turning into you!" She said dangling the weapon away from her person.

Tucker laughed effortlessly fitting his tech into his many pockets, "Come to the dark side Sam, soon all you're precious little girls will have names."

"Hector is a guy." Sam snapped back then paled at what she said, "Oh no I'm getting worse!"

"Will you two knock it off?" Robin said slipping on his utility belt and testing his bo-staff for damages, "We have bigger problems to deal with."

"Like what?" Danny asked.

"Well for starter's" Cyborg said his arm gently dinging as he was restored to full charge, "This place isn't rigged, it's almost like Slade handed us our weapons back."

Sam frowned, "He went through so much trouble to take them from us in the first place, why would he make this part easy for us."

Robin's eyes narrowed, "Because he already got what he wanted."

"Which is?" Beastboy asked worriedly looking around the room.

"I don't know, but I do know we need to get out of here now." Robin said, "Titan's look for a way out. There has to be some clues in this room. Convict's," Robin looked at Danny, Tucker and Sam and pointed to the farthest less cluttered point in the room, "Go to that corner, stay in that corner, don't move, and, Don't. Touch. Anything." Robin said tightly, only after they had found themselves in said very comfy corner did Robin join the search.

"I have the weirdest feeling that the Robin doesn't trust us." Tucker deadpanned.

"Did he just put us on time-out? Because I think he just put us on time-out." Sam seethed her hands itching to take Robin down a peg. "I do not do time-outs!"

"What are we five?" Danny expressed, "We're older than some of the member on their team I mean come on."

"I know it's a bummer isn't it?"

"Right." "You're telling me." "You're preaching to the choir." Danny, Sam and Tucker said respectively agreeing with the statement before freezing.

"Ah, Sam, Tucker?" Danny whispered, a not comforting icy feeling of dread crawling up his back.

"Yes Danny?" They whispered back.

"Did either of you guys just speak right now?"

"No Danny."

"Well that's really strange, because neither did I."

Stiffly Danny, Tucker and Sam turned around. Behind them a man wearing a bright red uniform with a golden lighten bolt sitting happy on his chest looked back at them. The intruders hand was wrist deep in a bag of chips.

"Hi again!" The Flash said offering them the bag, "Want some?"

No matter what anyone would have you believe Danny, Tucker and Sam did not shriek. They simply informed the Titan's about the situation at hand.

"Hey now, there's no need to panic." Flash said raising one crummy hand to calm them, "I just want to talk."

"Oh ok," Sam said nervously shifting on her feet her eyes staring into the white orbs of Flash's mask, "Let's talk."

Flash's eyes widened, "Seriously? You're not going to run again?"

"No, no, we have been informed that running would be a very bad idea." Tucker said awkward smile twitching on his face.

"Well, yes. Running away right at this moment would be very bad for you." The Flash answered looking over to see the Titan's watching them closely, "You guys caught them, and talked them down to boot. Great work, how did you do it?"

"We had a mutual enemy." Robin said shortly.

Flash's eyes narrowed. "Slade. We saw his broadcast, and let me guess it was a trap?" Flash sighed at their nods before looking down at Danny, Tucker and Sam, "What did he bride you with?"

"He, ah found out where we were staying, and threatened to rat us out to the government." Danny said brushing his white hair back, "In hindsight we should have went to the Titans directly."

Sam sighed blowing her own hair out of her face, "Tell me about it. Losing the place would have been better than going through all of this."

"I agree." Tucker muttered. "Though that pool table and flat screen were a hella tight."

Robin frowned, thinking over what Slade could do with the Convict's base, "We're going to have to confiscate your hideout."

"What!" Tucker exclaimed sharply turning around to confront Robin, "Why would you do that? It's just a-" His was swiftly cut off as Danny and Sam hastily clasped their hands over his mouth.

"Shut up, Tucker." Sam hissed, "There still don't know where our hideout is."

"I thought you were going to cooperate with us." Robin replied the makings of an argument colouring his tone.

"We are, and we will tell you what you need to know." Danny answered ignoring Robin's glare, "You do not need to know about the hideout."

Danny, and Sam jumped as Flash's hands landed on their shoulders, "You shouldn't ask more from a deal that's already made, Robin. They made their terms and you made yours. Anyways it would be stupid for them not to have an out in-case things go wrong. Or well, worse."

"Worse," Tucker piped, "What do you mean worse?"

The Flash laughed awkwardly, letting go of Danny and Sam, "Well you see the Justice League has this sort of deal with the government..." Instantly the Convicts jumped away from Flash, hands going weapons or just simply glowing a vicious green, "Hold your horses," Flash said empty chip bag forgotten as he held out both hands, "There's no need to get violent."

"There is plenty need to get violent!" Sam snapped her gun aimed at his head, "You're working for the Guys in White!"

"The League works for the people of America, and of the world. We do not work for one government, and especially not for secretive government splitter cells." The Flash stated plainly, "Now put your weapons down, depower, and let's talk. You guys have plenty reason cautious, but not everyone is out to get you. There are people who want to help you without wanting an arm and leg in return."

Reluctantly Danny, Sam, and Tucker looked at each other before shifting into a less aggressive stance.

"Good." The Flash said smiling at them before turning to Robin, "I can see why you sought them out, good call."

Robin scoffed, "They're criminals and need to be put away," Danny, Sam, and Tucker glared at him, "but they're not evil."

"Hah I told the League the same thing." The Flash said smiling to himself, "I knew that you guys weren't the boogie men that the government and media was making you out to be. You guys probably don't have an evil bone between you."

Cyborg snorted, "You wouldn't be saying that if you knew what they know about your van."

Flash blinked, "My van?" He looked down at the Convicts who were suddenly very pale as realization crossed them, "Have you seen my van? It's been missing for months!"

Danny coughed, "Um your van wouldn't happen to be bright red…"

"…with a large yellow lightning bolt pained on both sides…" Sam chimed in.

"…and have a lowered couch/bed combination in the back?" Tucker finished weakly.

"Yes it would." The Flashes eyes narrowed the whites of his mask contracting into slits, "What do you know about my van?"

"Nothing!" Danny, Sam and Tucker said a little too fast.

"Now listen here-" The Flash cut himself off placing a hand to his headset, "I'm not messing around they know about my van... Yes I think my van which I paid thousands for is a top priority… It's not a stupid expense… What if I don't want to run? … I'm not lazy! ... Okay, okay whatever." He said before pointing at the Convicts, "You three, this isn't over not by a long shot."

"Um if you not of the minding me of asking," Starfire said, "who was that?"

"Batman." The Flash huffed, "Guy has his cape in a knot because I haven't reported in yet. Listen the League or more Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, and Greenlantern, wants to talk to you."

"Oh." Tucker squeaked as both Sam and Danny paled, "Is that all?"

"Well no." The Flash said burling past the tension he created, "We need the Titans to go topside to try and calm the people down."

"Topside?" Raven asked.

"Yeah Slade brought you guys pretty far down. The League are waiting a couple of floors above us, but above that?" The Flash whistled low looking at the Convicts, "You guys carry quite the fan club. The whole place is covered by a ghost shield and in it is hundreds of government agents, and outside that are thousands more. Worse of all behind all of that is the press. We're kind of hoping that the heroes of the local city can calm them down."

"Oh that's bad." Danny gulped pulling at his collar he didn't need to look at Sam and Tucker to know that they shared his sentiments. It was one thing to fight a couple of squads or a platoon, but to fight a government brigade...

"It wouldn't have been so bad if the Titans didn't disappear with you." The Flash said sincerely, "There's a rumour going around that you guys kidnapped the Titans for your evil deeds."

"Like what?" Sam said hating how things seem to be getting worse.

The Flash shifted nervously on his feet, "There is also a rumour going around that Danny eats people and/or drinks their blood with his fangs," The Flash shrugged as their and the Titan's jaws dropped, "a lot of people think that you're keeping the Titans as your own personal blood bank."

"What!" Danny shrieked legs disappearing into a ghostly mist in his distress, "They think I'm doing what? What, why? I don't even have fangs!"

"A lot of ghosts do, so." The Flash explained.

"Well I don't! See." Danny said pulling his lips apart.

"Oh my God!" Tucker shouted reeling back in horror.

Danny slammed his hands over his mouth, "What?!"

"Nothing," Tucker smirked, "just getting in some fun before the other shoe drops down."

Danny's eyes flashed a dangerous green, "You-"

"As much as we would like to see you discus things," Raven said her eyes glowing black, "we have a city to reassure."

"Raven's right." Robin said, "Who knows how much crinimal activity happened in the weeks we were gone."

"You need a hobby" Sam muttered.

"I have a hobby. Bringing people to justice." Robin continued at Sam's annoyed look, "We don't have the time for this, every second we waste here adds more fear to the public and gives you a longer sentence." He looked at Raven, "Are you up for bringing us topside?"

"I'm still recovering, but doing this won't put a dent in my powers." Raven answered her hands glowing with dark magic.

"Good." Robin looked up at Flash, "Keep an eye on those three, they're slippery."

"We still can hear everything you say." Tucker supplied.

Robin didn't reply as Raven covered the Titan's in a dark haze that morphed into a massive pitch black raven. The raven spread it's large wings before flying through the ceiling with a heavy downbeat.

"What is with that guy?" Danny asked glaring at the stop where they disappeared, "One second he's all buddy-buddy with us and the next he's threating to lock us away for good."

Flash shrugged, "I think it's a bat family thing." Frowning he looked up, "Speaking of the bat family, Batman is probably wondering what's taking so long." He looked at them a wide smile on his face, "So are you guy up for meeting with the Justice League?"

Danny, Sam and Tucker, known throughout America as the Convicts shared a look, "Sure?"

"That's the spirit!" Flash said as his body started humming making it hard for them to see him, "Follow me, they're only a little ways up. You guys can follow me right?" Seeing their nods his smile became larger, "Good! I'll see you there." With that he jumped directly up and passed through the celling.

The three stood in silence finding that for the first time since they woke up they were alone together.

"…So." Danny ventured.

"Yeah…" Tucker mumbled.

"This, this is a thing." Sam said wringing her hands, "Do you guys trust him, the Flash I mean?"

"I trust him more then I trust Slade." Danny replied dryly "Still, I don't like the fact that we are going to jail. Then again we might be going to a fancy space jail."

"Yeah, imagine going to normal jail?" Sam asked, "The cafeterias probably don't have a vegetarian option."

Tucker huffed, "I can't believe you guys are comparing jails! Do you have any idea what this will do to our permeant record?"

The silence between them was tangible as they stewed on Tuckers words, and was only broken by a barely contained snort.

"Ha!" Tucker exclaimed, a self-satisfying smirk on his face as he pointed to Danny who was doubled over in not so silent laughter, "I got you to laugh!"

"Tucker this isn't the time for jokes." Sam said the corners of her lips twitching up against her wishes, "This is serious."

"I know can you imagine it, Sam?" Tucker said, his hand barely touching his forehead as he leaned back in mock horror, "How would the administration at the schools your parents picked out react when they see your track record? Especially since the last time you heard from them they thought that your dark clothes and demeanor were unwholesome? Can you imagine how they would react now?"

Sam's resistance broke and she laughed hard. "Oh my god. They would have a heart attack if they saw my application letter."

Danny recovered enough to snort out, "Would that be before or after their monocles fell off their faces?"

"I can see it in the headlines now, 'The Amity Convicts accepted in secondary school, act like the past year never happened'." Sam said between giggles her hands arching out the length of the supposed headline.

"Think about our byline! 'It was just a phase. Everything is better now, we promise'." Tucker added wiping away laugher brought tears. "The world would go berserk."

"Yeah..." Danny said sobering, "I wish we could do that, but in this reality we have to make a decision."

Tucker sighed, calming down as life, their life came back into focus, "You know there really isn't a decision to make," he said putting a hand on Danny's shoulder, "They're our only hope, other than Operation F.U.B.A.R, and I really don't want to make that jump."

"Tucker's right Danny." Sam said placing her hand on his other shoulder, "We don't have a choice. Well we could run again, but I rather not see the Justice League's angry side."

They all shuddered.

"When, and let's face it, it would be a when, they caught us they would probably be mad enough to have Batman interrogate us." Tucker said shivering.

"Interrogate us, hah!" Danny said, and he shuddered, "All he would have to say was that he was bringing us to Arkham and I would spill my guts."

"Let's avoid that fate, and hurry up and meet with the League." Sam said brushing not-so imaginary dust of her clothes.

"Right." Danny said, securing his hold on them before flying through the ceiling. They were thrown back into the familiar feeling of being encased in dirt. Not so long ago they were doing the same thing only now instead of escaping the Justice League they were rushing towards them.

Countless heartbeats later they slowly came out of the ground and into another cavern, one that was unmistakably close to the surface. They stayed intangible marveling how that even in this state the cleaner air still smelled wonderful as if all their troubles we just melting away…

"You are a fool."

They heads snapped toward what could only be described as a blood freezing, wrathful tone.

"What. Were. You. Thinking?" Batman snarled every bit of his imposing figure was to force Flash to shrink.

Flash stepped back both hands up as he tried to come up with a suitable excuse, "Uh-"

"I'll answer that for you." Batman growled out, "You didn't think, you just reacted in a situation where you should have acted.

Superman walked over to Batman recoiling his hand just as he was about to very stupidly try and calm him, "Don't you think you're being a little too hard on him?"

"He took his eyes off of them. One of them is part ghost we found them purely on luck." Batman grounded out, "They could be half way across the country right now, or even the world."

Wonderwoman sighed, "Great job, Flash now how are supposed to find them."

"Oh I don't know, with the ghost hunting equipment we have?" Flash said backing away from Batman.

"This junk?" Greenlantern said holding up a handheld machine held together with very pretty, very shiny duct tape, "Why are we using this again."

"Because," Batman rumbled, "someone thought it would be a good idea to tell the government about my tech. Tech which very suddenly, and very mysteriously broke not soon after."

They looked back at a very sheepish looking Superman, "My bad."

"Um." The Justice League snapped to attention as Danny materialized with Sam and Tucker all three of them looking incredibly uncomfortable, "It looks like you guys are having a moment, so we'll just come back later…" Danny trailed off.

"No, no it's fine." Flash said a placating smile on his face, "We were having a little disagreement."

"Really?" Sam asked still holding on Danny fully prepared for a quick get away, "Because it looked like Batman was about to kill you."

"What? No. That just how he always is. He may look tough but I swear he has a soft center, isn't that right B-Man?"

Batman bristly walked past the Flash looking every bit as menacing as his dark knight reputation made him out to be, "Why didn't our instruments pick up your signature?"

"…you know you could attempt to help me out?" Flash sighed.

Batman ignored him in favour of speaking of the Convicts, "Well?"

"I'm probably out of its range." Danny blurted finding himself floating away from Batman, "If I was closer it would make sound, or your equipment is a piece of junk."

Batman looked back at Greenlantern, his eyes narrowing.

"I got it, I got it." Greenlantern muttered walking closer to Danny.

The device lit up and with a calm female voice said, "Welcome to the Fenton Finder, ghost located right in front of you, thank you for using the Fenton Finder."

"Well what do you know," Greenlantern said, "It works. Now why don't you three come with-" He trailed off looking between Danny who couldn't keep his eyes off the Fenton Finder, and Sam and Tucker who seemed to be in shock but nowhere near the level that Danny was.

"Where," Danny said his voice small, twitching as if he wanted to rip the blocky, unpractical device out of Greenlantern's hands, "where did you get that?"

"You notice it?" Superman asked.

"Of course we notice it!" Sam exclaimed, "That's the Fenton Finder! How did you get your hands on it?"

"We meet with Danny's parents. We meet with all your parents, after you got away from us the first time." Superman said, rubbing his face in memory of a surprisingly strong punch from a surprisingly fast man, "They weren't happy to see us to say in the least. After your parents lost custody to you they, as to say-"

"They fell apart." Batman said his voice cutting them, "They boarded themselves in their homes and cut all ties to the outside world. I can hardly blame them with the messages that they got from every media droning idiot with a pen."

"Messages?" Tucker whispered.

"These messages took care to put the blame for your 'rampage' on them." Wonderwoman said curtly, "They were not kind in their finger pointing. Blaming them for your death," She looked at Danny, "both real and imagined was the focus of many of the letters given to them."

Sam hands clenched into angry fists tears threatened to stain her face, "Who would do something like this to them?"

"We were hoping that you knew." Greenlantern ventured shaking his head at their tense wide eyed stares, "I guess not. Whoever did this pushed your parents to a dangerous place they were about to do something down right stupid when we found them. With the emotions that they were going through it took a while to get them to believe that we were on their side."

"They gave you the Fenton Finder." Danny said he's eyes still on the dinged box.

"Your parents hoped that this would convince you to come with us." Wonderwoman said softly, "They worry about, and wish to see you safe."

Danny held a hand out weakly gesturing for the box, "Can I?"

Greenlantern gently put the box in his hands. "Careful it's a little worse for wear."

Danny looked over the Finder taking in all the dents and marks, from its bent antennae to its cracked screen, and the duct tape barely holding it together. "This doesn't make sense. Mom would never let her equipment get this bad."

"As I said," Batman said, "they fell apart."

Danny tensed and looked at Sam and Tucker a certain pain in his eyes.

"Way ahead of you buddy." Tucker said passed the lump in his throat, "We have to talk to our parents, they shouldn't have to worry about us not like this."

"Prisoners are allowed visitation privileges." Flash said helpfully.

"That includes everyone, right?" Danny said, "Not just immediate family?"

"Yes," Wonderwoman said gently, "as long as you cooperate."

Danny, Tucker and Sam looked at each other all of them longing to see familiar faces that were truly happy to see them. As one they nodded, holding out their wrists to the League. "We surrender."

"Great!" Flash exclaimed, "See, I told you they were good kids. I mean who hasn't had a government bounty placed on their heads? That being said why do you have a bounty on your heads?"

"The government or rather the Guys in White don't like ghosts. To them all ghost are criminals." Danny said his wrists still skyward, "I'm half ghost, and because they didn't turn me in they got charged for harbouring a criminal." He said nodding to Tucker and Sam who smiled in allegiance.

Flash's smile fell from his face, "That's it?"

"Yep." Tucker said, flexing his wrists, "Hey can you put the cuffs on? Holding this pose is starting to hurt my shoulders."

Superman stepped up to them, "You can put your hands down we're not cuffing you yet, but are you sure that's it? You guys didn't do anything else?"

"Nothing other than run, after they showed up in Danny's house." Sam shrugged letting her arms sway at her sides, "We wouldn't have caused so much damage if they didn't shoot us out of the sky."

"That doesn't make sense. They cannot bring you to trial for simply existing." Wonderwoman said. She then watched on in shock as Danny, Sam and Tucker began to laugh a horrible dry laugh that held more bitterness then mirth.

"Trial!" Tucker said between snorts, "Like we'll make it to trial!"

"Tell me, is trial before or after the experiments?" Danny grinned.

Sam straightened, a smirk dancing across her face, "Trail would be after the experiments. Can't have us make a coherent defense, can they?" Sam frowned at the alarm on the Wonderwoman's face, "Wow that was dark even for me I think all the life threatening experiences are catching up to me."

"You know I was thinking the same thing. We might need a vacation." Tucker said drolly, before looking up at Superman, "The point is we won't get a trial if the G.I.W catches us. I know what they want with Danny, but I don't know what they want with Sam and I, and I intend on never finding out."

Superman's eyes narrowed, "There is many things wrong with that, things that we will talk about later on the Watch Tower."

Tucker's eyes lit up, "You know we were just speculating before, but we are really going to see the Watch Tower?"

"From the inside of a holding cell." Batman said curtly causing Tucker to deflate, "We know what you can do with technology, and also we're confiscating your pet." He said pointing to the mosquito holding dutifully on Tucker's shoulder.

"You get Jessica when we get on the tower." Tucker said trying and failing not to flinch under Batman's glare.

"Batman just let him keep it." Superman sighed, "We're wasting time here we need to get going."

"Question!" Sam asked, "How are we going to do that? Are we using the Tower's Teleporter?" Sam paused at the raised eyebrows directed at her, "Of course I know about the Teleporter, a girl does have to know what's after her."

"We can't use the Teleporter." Wonderwoman replied, "The whole world is watching it is better for them to see without a doubt that we have personally taken responsibility of you."

"So, what? Are we just going to stroll past the G.I.W and hope that they don't shoot us?" Danny asked. His face fell when his question was replied with affirmative silence, "You guys are crazy, and they're going to make Swiss cheese out of us!"

"It's either this, or give the G.I.W what it needs to make a case against us." Batman said. "They want to prove to the world that we can't handle you."

"The world?" Tucker squeaked, "Like the whole world?"

"You had the American government on the ropes for months, and have evaded the League until now." Batman said his voice stern and unrelenting, "Take in that they are blaming you for the Titan's disappearance, and you can see why other countries have taken notice. They are worried that they will have to put you on the Threat to Humanity list." Batman's eyes narrowed, "Vandal Savage is on that list."

"Oh, okay." Sam whimper the consequences of being put on such a list not lost on her. She spared a glance at Danny and Tucker to see that her panic was reflected in their eyes. It was one thing to be a dubbed a convict it was a whole other thing to be dubbed a supervillain. That was something they couldn't risk, "What do you want us to do?"

A.N: Before any of you panic no I am not ending this story. The update took so long because I lost the will to write and because of that hated what ever I put down. Finally I'm okay with this chapter and I promise the next chapter will not take as nearly as long.

- Sorry for the wait, Broken Song
