Aaron wandered the halls of Dr. Bell's house. Even though he had been here for a long time, he still had a hard time believing the size of it. He was bewildered. The mechanical canine soon found himself in the very first room, the entrance hall. As usual, it was lit just enough to see, illuminating the fancy decor in its soft glow. There, he ascended the large stairway, knowing he had quite the way to go still. Unlike the other Beasts, whom he was basically the leader of, he was allowed to roam about the house. The many, many others resided elsewhere. Inside the Redeemer.
After a good minute or two of travel, he was on the roof. There wasn't much to be seen, save for the rather large airship in the middle Well, actually it kinda reminded him of a pirate's ship in build. And it possessed a strange, stony texture to it. Aaron still didn't know why his creator insisted on it. He also remembered a talk about a cloaking device to keep it hidden.
All thoughts aside, he took a good look around. Sure enough, the various other Beasts were all about. They were usually working on the ship, or being worked on themselves. Others had found time to rest, acting much like puppies. Some chasing each other, others coming up with games, just... puppy stuff. Aaron could see why he was in charge of them. Maybe that's why Dr. Bell made sure they received upgrades. And speaking of him…
"Ah, Aaron. I trust that the prisoner is locked away." He said while he crouched down, petting Aaron's head softly.
He loved it when he got petted, even if he couldn't feel it much for now. Aaron nodded his head. "Sir… I can't help but wonder…" he started, lowering his head. "Why do you do this? Besides cleansing the world, what's your motive?" He asked.
Dr. Bell was quiet for a moment, adjusting his glasses. "Aaron, let me tell you something I saw..."
All around, fire blazed brightly, bathing everything in the inferno with its eerie orange glow. Dr. Bell stood in the center, a large black bladed sword in each hand. Blood dripped from various cuts and holes in his body. Nonetheless, he stood without care. Despite the wounds, he seemed to maintain his calm composure.
"Three on one is hardly fair… For you." He spoke, his cold gaze boring into the three chipmunks before him. "There's nothing you can do… You've taken everything I've cared of… And DESTROYED IT!" he shouted suddenly slamming the swords on the floor. "The sheer irony of it all… I refuse to be made a fool!" He roared, reaching into the pocket of his tattered lab coat. He pulled out his silver pocket watch while a mad grin spread over his face. "I win… RATS!"
"Stop!" Alvin ordered, breaking free of his daze and flew forward, sword raised in preparation for a well-aimed strike.

Dr. Bell pressed the button, then let out a crazed, manic laugh. Not a single second passed after before the entire Redeemer was engulfed by a bright light, followed by the thunderous roar of a massive explosion.
"I… I descended to madness…" Dr. Bell said, wiping sweat from his brow. "You see, Aaron, I succeeded in my goal, but in the wrong way." He lowered his head, eyes wide with worry.
Aaron was taken by surprise. He was sure his jaw had literally dropped. Of all people… His creator was definitely the very last one he expected to go crazy."But… What's that have to do with it?" he asked, his whip tail swishing.
Dr. Bell rose to his feet, eying the Redeemer. That fantastic airship… Up in flames… All the blood… He couldn't let that happen. "Aaron. You're the first to receive a new upgrade. Meet me in the operating room. And don't worry. I'll be quick." He opened up his pocket watch and opened it, pressing one of the buttons inside. In an instant, he was gone in a flash of bright light.
Aaron could have sworn he saw a smile on his face. Dr. Bell was definitely going to fix the world, no matter what. And soon, he followed after him.
*~With the chipmunks~*
"Alright Theo. I haven't been able to find any kind of weapon that… fits you, but I think I have something better for now."
Simon was sitting in his lab, his eyes focused intently on his computer screen. Theodore was also by the computer, and he pouted from hearing the news.
"Aww… Well, what is it then?" he asked, looking at Simon. Simon adjusted his glasses and smiled proudly. "I was able to make our flight all the more possible." He said, typing away at the keyboard. "I can install wings to our Suits. It'll take a while, but I know it's going to be worth it. The wings will be voice command, and they'll be fully functional as long there's enough power and Data in the Suits." He said, pulling up a few wing designs.
A certain pair caught Theodore's eyes. "How come those are bat wings, but the others aren't?" he asked. "Oh. Well, those are Alvin's." Simon answered, laughing to himself. A troublemaker like Alvin would probably prefer bat wings anyway."By the way… Where is Alvin?" Simon asked.
He hadn't heard from the red clad in a while. And though he enjoyed the silence, it was almost always never a good sign. Theo shrugged his shoulders. "Haven't seen him. Maybe he's outside?" he spoke.
"You know, I'm afraid you may be right…"
Nighttime was always quiet around here. With everything going on now, it just seemed stronger. No sound, except for the wind's gentle whisper through the leaves. There were few stars in the sky, and the moon was hidden behind clouds.
Alvin wandered the streets, fully clothed in his Suit. Not a lot of people had stayed close since Dr. Bell started his takeover, and a lot less had tried to stop him. This was Alvin's alone time, the time he thought the most. Maybe a little too much. Tonight he was thinking of a certain chipette friend, who he hadn't even heard much from since their worlds changed. Alvin often thought about her, actually. A little too much. But he couldn't help it.
Despite all of their fighting, arguing and competing, he actually liked her. A lot. But he still hadn't heard from her in a while. Alvin sighed to himself and sat down at the end of the sidewalk.
In just one day… One terrible, screwed up day, he had lost his father and his closest friends. What's worse is that he had little to no idea where Dave, Brittany, Jeanette, or Eleanor were. At least he could kind of take comfort in knowing the girls were alright. Jeanette was a super genius, and she had access to the same techy stuff as Simon did. Mainly because he constantly sent data to her.
"Ugh… Where are you guys?" he asked, knowing full well that he wouldn't get an answer. It had long been decided that their exact locations were better left unmentioned.
"I never did get to tell her…" he muttered. Suddenly, Alvin's ear twitched. Looks like he would have to save thinking for later. He summoned his sword and got to his feet, the red lines of his Suit glowing bright.
There wasn't much of a threat, only three Beasts. "This is gonna be too easy." Alvin said as the dogs closed in on him, each one growling lowly(which really sounded like an engine). They must've had some kind of stealth added to their code, seeing as the Suit didn't warn him sooner. As Alvin got into his usual stance, holding the sword in one hand, his eyes grew wide. All three Beasts suddenly spread out a pair of menacing, metallic dragon-like wings, each bearing one of their usual laser cannons.
"Oh, now that's just some unfair sh-" Alvin was interrupted by a Beast flying straight into him, tackling him down to the ground and knocking the air out of him. It grabbed his sword arm in its mouth and bit down, flying straight up towards the cloudy sky, followed close by the other two. Alvin screamed as they carried him higher and higher, trying to reach from his sword as well as holding his lunch down in his belly.
The other two Beasts snarled, whipping their tails as they released countless spikes. If Alvin hadn't managed to squirm free, he would have been an actual chipmunk shaped pin cushion. Again. Unfortunately, breaking free caused him to go into free fall.
One of the Beasts swooped down, mouth blade gleaming along the deadly edge as it closed in fast. "Dumb dog… you need to sit!" he said, spinning around and cleaving the dog's wings clean off. A satisfied grin came to his face as it fell down towards the earth, landing with a loud crash.
Two left. Both really pissed off. Alvin gasped and gripped his shoulder as he felt a spike embed itself there, drawing blood and making him groan in pain. "Dammit!" he shouted, ripping the spike from his shoulder. He yelped as one of the Beasts rammed straight into his back, sending them both towards the earth below faster. The Beast quickly rolled away and opened its wings, releasing two powerful beams. Alvin had to fire back his own blast to counter it, filling the sky with a flash of red and blue for a moment.
*BAM!*
Alvin's entire body was wracked with pain as he fell straight onto the ground. If he hadn't been wearing his Suit, he would be way beyond dead. His mouth opened wide in a silent wail of agony. He had to have made an actual crater in the ground.
He couldn't move his anything and his consciousness was slipping away fast. "D… Dammit…" he sputtered, eyes rolling back in his head. The last thing he heard, or imagined he did, was the sound of his brothers' worried voices.
'Dr. Bell… I think…"
"No words, Aaron." Dr. Bell spoke. They were outside the Redeemer again, and Dr. Bell was admiring Aaron's new form.
The dog's normal greyhound build was now changed, now closely resembling a mix between wolf and German shepherd. He sported an obsidian dark metallic frame and his eyes were glowing with a cold blue light. He was slimmed down and given more height, now standing taller than the other Beasts. Two short audio receivers, styled as horns or ears, were perched on his head, swiveling slowly. His tail now ended in a forked tip, gleaming slightly His claws were sharpened now, given a deadly double edge. His twin laser cannons were no longer on his shoulders, but now rested on a pair of dark wings, which were folded tightly against his body.
"You look… Marvelous. A true leader of the Beasts." He said. "Now then… Here's your new task…"
