Chapter 2 Closed Off

Brit is not the same person she was before the fight. What is the extent of what the Kudo clang really exerted to her? More importantly, what kind of leverage does Adam really have over her? How will she continue to live her life?

It has been a week and a half since the fight. There has been nothing except for a tense atmosphere whenever any of the turtles, Ben, April, Casey, or Master Splinter is around Brit at any point of time. Whenever they are around her all she does is stare. She doesn't even acknowledge anyone at all. It is like she is no longer aware of what is happening around her. Everyone is very worried about her, especially Raph and Ben. Raph worries that he has lost the love of his life and more importantly a really good person who bad things happen to. Ben, on the other hand, worries that his sister is no longer there. He sees signs that he thinks that she may have given up in lift.

Brit's mind is a totally different matter. She is very confused and is unsure what is real and what is not real. How can a person tell when you have as many black spots as she does? Her mind has closed her off from everybody. Is there any possibility for her to come back to reality? It has gotten so bad that Donny had to administer a feeding tube into her body so that she would get some type of nutrition supplements just yesterday.

What does Brit see in her black spots? A lot of different scenarios that her mind is playing tricks on her. A reality that no person should have to endure. At times her brother, Ben, is no longer alive or there is no one who is there to be there thru all the hard times. No turtles, no love, no friends, no life. When this happens there is just tears pouring down her tender red cheeks. She keeps to herself for obvious reasons that the Kudo clang has always given her that tears is a sign of weakness and punishment. At other times she is taken away from the home and more importantly the turtles and people whom she loves dearly. All the more reason for her to hate and blame herself. Self misery can destroy a person from the inside to the outside.
