A/N: Chapter with introduction to a few more characters. And thanks to the few who read my story. I should also add that Sumiko is Fuji's girly name and shall be forever called that in this story.

Edit: Any mistakes should be changed. Erm,

Edited 'cause I didn't like some of Kikumaru's 'nya's' so I got rid of some. 6/6/2006

Edited 'cause it needs it! Added a bit more detail here and there but nothing major. 11/5/2009

Disclaimer: 'PoT' is not mine...

Chapter Two

"Hoi! Sumiko! You naughty girl!"

Fuji placed her school shoes in her locker and turned around to see Eiko Kikumaru running towards her. She stopped and thrust her hands down on her hip. Her smile curved into a sneaky grin. Fuji placed her uniform in her locker and held her racket over her shoulder.

"Ne, Kikumaru-chan, what's wrong?"

Kikumaru sniggered. "I saw you with Tezuka-san on Saturday. Does this mean you've finally confessed your love for him?"

"…No,"

She walked on pass her best friend to grab her belongings but with Kikumaru's cat-like reflexes, she grabbed the bag and held it in place while grinning up at Fuji.

"Does that mean Tezuka-san has confessed to you?"

Fuji leant her head against Kikumaru's. Their hair pushed up against their noses and cheeks that Kikumaru had to brush it away.

"No," Fuji answered, and that was that.

"Nyaa! But you two were on a date!"

"Who was on a date?"

Umeko Kikoishi walked into the changing room to catch the end of the conversation. She was currently one of the regulars and played in singles in the tournaments last year. She had short, auburn hair that she tied back in a tiny ponytail. One she saw the two by the bench she couldn't help but wandered over to get more juicy details. She linked arms with Kikumaru and they both sat down and gossiped about Fuji's encounter with Tezuka. Kikoishi placed her hands on her cheeks and thought about how romantic a scene it might have been or how unromantic it could have been. Fuji held her left arm at her elbow and watched her two players getting grossly side-tracked.

"…And he kept blushing and Sumiko held his hand." Kikumaru whispered.

"So where were you Kikumaru-chan?" Kikoishi asked.

"My family went out for lunch and we sat behind them by the wall. They never saw us."

"We heard you though, Kikumaru-chan." Fuji added.

Kikoishi giggled and got up to get ready. When over and took Kikumaru by the arm and lead her towards the door. She whispered in Kikumaru's ear that she had something to show her, something that she would like and if they wanted to see it they would have to leave now. Kikumaru's eyebrow twitched and curiosity got the better of her. Fuji gave her friend a quick look-over, managing to tidy her tennis dress and socks. She flicked a curl of Kikumaru's red hair and thought out aloud.

"For some strange reason, I don't like your hair style."

"Fuji-chan, you're being mean to me again!"

"Sorry. It just reminds me of someone."

"So, what are you going to show me?"

"All in good time. Ready."

The two excused themselves leaving Kikoishi and others in the changing room and walked towards the tennis courts. It would be about this time that those two would walk by. He was known for keeping time and even though he disliked walking pass the girl's section, he wood. Only because of her did he dislike it. What would she do to him today? It would be fun if she could tease him a little, but this time this encounter would be for Kikumaru.

"Just to the corner." She told Kikumaru.

"Can't you tell me anything?"

As she finished talking Kikumaru and Fuji nearly bumped into two other people. When they looked up, there were the equally disturbed faces of two boys.

"Good morning captain Tezuka-kun, vice captain Oishi-kun." Fuji greeted.

Kikumaru saw who stood in front of her and coward halfway behind Fuji.

"Argh! You meanie Fuji-chan!"

"Now, now, don't be like that. I'm doing you a favour."

Kikumaru grumbled but kept her face hidden over Fuji's shoulder. Fuji left Kikimaru to presence herself to Oishi while she greeted Tezuka. She held her racket behind her back and stood up straight with that content smile he felt comfortable seeing. To her delight, his cheeks went a little rosy. If her normal clothes left everything to the imagination then her tennis dress did not. A thigh-high white, skin-tight dress with blue and red strips that ran down the sides showed off all her curves. This was her regulars' uniform, just like the boys got the jersey's, the girls got the dresses. The sports dress was shorter then the dark blue shorts they were given to wear underneath.

Tezuka coughed and kept his eye contact with Fuji. "Morning Fuji-san, Kikumaru-san."

Kikumaru rubbed her face into Fuji back causing her to arch her chest and stagger forward, not that she minded.

"How are you both?" Fuji asked.

"Very well, thank you Fuji-san." Oishi said.

"Good." Tezuka, being his typical self, only answered with one word but it was good enough for Fuji.

"How was your match yesterday?" She then asked.

"We did well." Oishi answered.

"That's good to hear."

"Did… did you play a good game too, Oishi-kun?"

Fuji peered over her shoulder to find her friend had moved from out of her shadow to stand in front of Oishi. She couldn't help but notice the shy and girlish pose she stood in. She held her racket just below her chin and her big kitten-soft eyes just manage to catch Oishi gaze, but not for long as she drifted down to his shirt. How cute! This obviously surprised Oishi, who fumbled around for the simplest of words to say. He only had to say, 'I won my doubles game.' but instead he laughed and nodded then realised he had not said anything so fumbled around for the right words to say.

"Yes, me and Sai won our doubles match. 6-2."

She smiled brightly and congratulated him. Oishi thanked her. Fuji wished those two would hurry up and confess. Against her and Tezuka, they had blatant feelings for each other. The only thing that stopped them was their own politeness. Fuji took her attention away from the two blushing rosebuds to gaze at Tezuka. She caught his eyes on her and the light off his glass flashed over her skin. I can't be the only one who's not blushing, she thought. She took a step closer to Tezuka who seemed to be composing himself well.

"Have you sorted the rankings out yet?"

"Not yet."

"Make sure you pick wisely. Well, I better get to my girls. Maybe I'll see you later today."

"Maybe."

Hmm, that simple reaction wasn't good enough for Fuji. She took her frozen friend by the arm and walked between Tezuka and Oishi. Before Tezuka had a chance to walk away she slipped her hand under his shirt to brushed her fingers and nails around his tough six pack and waist. She carried on walking and did not look back. She knew Tezuka would have hesitated in his steps. He would be thinking, did she really just do that. Yes, I did Tezuka-kun! When she heard Oishi's voice asking if he was okay, she linked arms with her speechless friend and made her way to the courts. This was going to be an interesting year.
