The Tartarus
Luke and Tear were in a cabin sitting by a table with Jade, Ion, and Anise standing near a door and Mieu stood on the table being next to Luke and there was a Malkuth soldier with them as well named Marco who was Jade's second-in-command.
"The Seventh Fonon hyperresonance came from the direction of the capitol of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and converged inside Malkuth territory in Tataroo Valley," Jade stated, "now if you two were the source of that hyperresonance, that would make you guilty of illegally crossing the border of our country."
Luke sighed, "Unfortunately, I can't argue that."
Anise giggled, "Already admitting guilt?"
"Please don't laugh, it's a serious matter. He's not wrong in what he's saying."
"My, my, you're quite understanding," Jade said, "but moving on, Tear, we already know that you're with the Oracle Knights but what about you Luke, what's your full name?"
Luke sighed, "My name is Luke fon Fabre from Baticul. It's a pleasure to meet you Colonel Jade Curtiss."
Jade and Ion were surprised to hear the name.
"The son of Duke Fabre, who married into the Kimlasca Royal Family?" Jade replied.
"The very same," Luke said with a nod.
"A duke…oh," Anise said intrigued.
"Why are you in Malkuth?" Jade asked.
"We're here only because our Seventh Fonons reacted to each other," Tear explained.
"Yeah, I can swear to you that it's not a hostile action by House Fabre against Malkuth," Luke assured.
Ion just looked at Luke and nodded and then he turned to Jade.
"Jade, I believe that they are telling the truth," Ion said, "I don't feel any hostilities from either of them."
"Hmm yes, I do feel that they are being sincere," Jade replied.
"Actually, why don't we ask for their help?"
Jade nodded, "It's worth a shot."
"Wait, our help?" Luke asked confused.
"Yes, we're actually heading to Baticul right now."
"To declare war?" Tear responded.
Luke gave Tear a dirty look and Tear was taken back Luke's look.
"What?" Tear asked not liking the way Luke was looking at her
"You have it backwards Tear," Anise said, "We're trying to prevent a war from happening."
"Just as I figured," Luke said, "if they had really had planned to declare war, Ion wouldn't have made the suggestion to ask for help and in fact, Ion wouldn't be here willfully with Jade," Luke looked at Ion, "I'm correct, right Ion?"
"Absolutely," Ion said as he nodded.
"We'll let you walk around here in the Tartarus," Jade said, "except that ones that are marked off limits."
"Really?" Luke replied.
"Yes, first take some time to know us here and then make your decision. Should you decide to help, we'll tell our reasons and what the situation is at the moment."
"Why can't you tell us what's going right now?" Luke asked with a raised eyebrow.
"If we were to tell you now and you would still refuse to help, we would have no choice but to lock you up."
Luke was surprised, "Are you serious?"
"I am, this is a very sensitive matter, that's why I'm urging you to make up your minds first."
Luke sighed, "Okay, I understand."
Jade nodded and then left the cabin.
"I'm sure things will work out with you around," Ion said cheerfully and left the cabin as well.
"Um Luke, I would so like to go places with you," Anise said with a flirtatious look.
"I see…" Luke said as he looked away.
Anise smiled at Luke and thought that she hit the jackpot.
"Please speak with me if you're ready to talk to the Colonel," Marco said.
"Okay," Luke replied.
"Luke, I can show you around if you like," Anise said and then looked at Tear and then felt doubt, "actually, maybe I might be in the way."
"Not at all, we would appreciate it," Tear said.
"I don't know what you mean by getting in the way," Luke said and then he smiled, "but I would like it too so please Anise, show us around."
"All right," Anise said happily, "okay Luke, let's go."
Anise was giving Luke, Tear, and Mieu a bit of a tour of the Tartarus. Anise was showing them different places and cabins in the Tartarus. They went outside and then they saw Ion and Jade looking out of the scene.
"Ion," Luke called.
Ion turned around and smiled and Luke along with Tear, Anise, and Mieu met up with Ion.
"I'm sorry for dragging you into this," Ion said.
"Don't worry about it, I don't really feel that I'm being dragged into it although I would like if I knew what was going on. Can you really not say anything Ion?"
"I'm afraid that I'm influencing the situation as well, that's why Jade is being cautious."
"Is that so? Is the Order acting as a go-between?"
"That's part of it but I'm afraid I can't really say much."
"I see…"
"I'm sorry Luke."
Luke sighed but waved it off, "It's all right…I understand."
Luke looked over and saw Jade and Luke had a determined expression and went to Jade and Tear, Mieu, Anise, and Ion were surprised and the two female Oracle Knights caught up with Luke. Jade turned to see the others and then he grinned when he saw Tear and Anise standing real close to Luke.
"My my Luke," Jade said, "a lady on each arm."
Tear flinched and Luke raised an eyebrow while Anise was feeling giddy in what Jade was implying.
"Oh Colonel," Anise said happily.
"I'm not," Tear said being nervous while blushing, "we're not…uh…like…"
Luke sighed, "Relax Tear, Jade is obviously joking."
"Uh…y-yeah, you're right Luke…that's it…"
"Jade, please don't make jokes like that," Luke said giving Jade a bored look.
"Come now Luke," Jade said being playful, "anyway, what is it?"
"Right, actually Jade, I have something to ask you."
"Yes?" Jade wondered what Luke was going to ask him.
"It's about my past," Luke said.
"Your past?"
"Luke?" Anise said.
"Seven years ago, I was kidnapped by people from Malkuth."
Tear, Anise, and Mieu were surprised.
"You were kidnapped?" Tear asked.
"Yes," Luke answered.
"What is it about a kidnapping?" Jade asked.
"As I said, seven years ago, I was kidnapped by people from Malkuth."
"I see…this is the first time I've heard something like that."
"Really?" Luke said narrowing his eyes at Jade.
Anise's eyes widened, "Wait Luke, you don't suspect that…"
"Luke, I don't what you're thinking about but I assure you, what I'm telling you is the truth, this is the first time I've heard about it," Jade said, "Did it happen during the previous emperor's reign?"
"I don't know," Luke said clenching his fists, "I don't know what happened but somehow the kidnapping resulted in me losing my memories. The first ten years of my life are gone to me and I can't seem to recall what happened during the time, I don't what was done to me or if something happened but I wanted to ask you if there were people in Malkuth who wanted to gain something for doing what they did or did it simply because of I'm the son of Duke Fabre who we know to be one of Malkuth's worse enemies and they had a grudge and wanted revenge."
Jade looked at Luke and he had a theory about Luke.
"Luke, it sounds to me you endured a terrible ordeal but I can guarantee you this, if we had know, we would have stopped them and whoever was involved would have been arrested immediately. Kidnapping Kimlascans, whether they be commoners or nobility is not something that the current emperor tolerates and we would have responded immediately. I'm sorry Luke, I don't know what else to tell you."
"I see…" Luke thought about what Jade said and then nodded, "okay, thanks for answering my question. I'm back to square one it seems. Anyway, I'll give my decision to you shortly."
"I appreciate it," Jade said.
Luke left with Mieu, Tear, and Anise following him and Jade narrowed his eyes and turned around.
"Could it be…?" Jade said.
The four went back inside and were walking in the hall.
"I had no idea that something like that happened to you," Tear said.
"Yeah…" Luke said.
"And you lost your memory of the first ten years of your life?" Anise said.
"Yeah," Luke said again.
"Mieu, poor Luke," Mieu said with sadness, "it must have been hard."
"It still is but I'm able to get through it, thanks to the support of people who care about me."
"The people in your manor?" Tear asked.
"Yeah but it's not just them…the people in Baticul and other places in Kimlasca especially Guy and Natalia."
"Guy and Natalia?" Anise said.
"Yeah, Guy is my best friend and Natalia is my cousin and Princess of Kimlasca and," Luke blushed and scratched his cheek lightly with his finger, "she's someone I'm engaged to as well."
Anise and Tear were surprised.
"Luke, you're…engaged?" Anise asked.
Luke grinned and blushed, "Y-Yeah, I am."
"I see…" Anise said and then looked away with a frown.
They entered the cabin where they were staying in before and where Marco was waiting for them. Luke told Marco that we would like to speak with Jade and Ion again and decided to help them in what they were planning to do. Marco nodded and went to get Jade and Ion.
"So, you're going to do it," Tear said, "are you sure?"
Luke nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure, especially if Ion is involved then it can't be bad."
"Then you believe in what the colonel told you when asked about…well, you know…"
"Yeah…I'm sure," Luke said, "I don't know why but I feel that I can trust Jade just as I can trust Ion."
"…Well okay then."
"I'm glad to hear you say that Luke," Anise said.
"Thanks Anise," Luke said with a smile.
Later, Jade, Ion, and Marco came back in the cabin with Jade telling the situation and what their intentions were.
"Small localized conflicts have broken out recently," Jade started, "it's likely those will escalate in a full-scale war. After all, the truce for the Hod War is only 15 years old."
"Emperor Peony has written a letter proposing a formal peace treaty," Ion explained, "they requested my aid as a neutral ambassador."
"I see," Luke said, "but if that's the case, why are people in the Order saying you're missing. Master Van was ordered to search for you."
"Yes, well that's because of the matters within the Order of Lorelei."
"…Are you talking the conflict within the Order of Lorelei and that it is split into two factions?"
"Yes, sadly that is the case," Ion said with a sad expression, "I'm surprised you know about it Luke."
"The two factions are the Reformist Fon Master Faction centered around Ion and the Conservative Grand Maestro Faction centered around Grand Maestro Mohs," Jade explained.
"Mohs is looking to start a war. I was able to escape Mohs's custody with the help of the Malkuth military."
"Fon Master Ion, there must be mistake, Grand Maestro Mohs would never desire such thing," Tear responded, "his only desire is the preservation of the Score."
"Tear, you're in the Grand Maestro Faction?" Anise spoke surprised, "No way…"
Tear shook her head, "I'm neutral, the Score is important but so are the wishes of the Fon Master."
"Hmm, well come to think of it, someone I know in the Oracle Knights did tell me about Mohs and his desire to start a war," Luke said, "if it's really the case then we sure as hell can't let him do it."
"Luke, I just said that Grand Maestro Mohs doesn't desire war," Tear responded.
"Hmph, I heard you but do you really know for sure?"
"I do know that as a fact," Tear frowned and couldn't believe what Luke had just said.
"Luke, when did Van tell you about the matters of the Order of Lorelei?" Ion asked.
"Oh no, not Master Van," Luke answered, "actually, it's Master Cantabile."
Tear, Ion, and Anise were surprised to hear the name.
"Cantabile?" Anise spoke surprised.
"Major Cantabile?" Tear asked surprised.
"That's right, like Master Van, she's also my teacher," Luke said with smile, "she's the one who's been teaching me Fonic Artes and how to properly use the Seventh Fonon."
"I see," Jade said intrigued, "so she's the one who informed the state of the Order of Lorelei and informed you about Mohs."
"That's right," Luke said.
"I see…well, we'll need to be able to enter to Baticul so that we can hand the letter over to His Majesty, King Ingobert, however we're the envoy of an enemy nation so it won't be easy for us to get through, so…"
"So in other words, you need me," Luke said and then he shrugged, "or to say, what you really need my social status, is that right?"
"…To honest, yes, that's what it comes down to."
Luke shrugged again, "Why not, I'll talk to my uncle. Just stick with me and they'll be no problem for you guys to have an audience with His Majesty."
Jade and Ion were happy to hear that.
"I really appreciate your help Luke," Jade said.
"No problem, if we can prevent a war from breaking out then I want to do what I can to help."
"Luke, thank you so much," Ion said happily.
Luke grinned and rubbed the back of his head. Jade, Marco, and Ion left the room again and it was just Luke, Mieu, Tear, and Anise. Luke was still sitting and thinking things through.
"Luke, are you okay?" Mieu asked.
"Oh Mieu," Luke answered, "yeah, I'm just thinking about when we get back to Baticul."
"I'm surprised Luke," Tear said, "that you actually know Major Cantabile."
"Really?" Luke replied, "Well like I said, she's my teacher just as Master Van is," Luke then thought of something, "oh…"
"Hmm, what is it Luke?" Anise asked.
"There's something else that I want to ask Jade," Luke got up, "he might know this one."
"Huh," Tear asked confused, "Luke, what are you talking about?"
"If you want to know, follow me. I'd rather say it with him present."
"Uh, okay."
"Wait, I'm coming too," Anise said happily.
Anise got real close to Luke and Luke looked away nervously and chuckled a little. They left the cabin and went to find Jade. They were able to find him in the hall and Jade turned to see the others.
"Jade, there's one more thing I have to ask you," Luke said.
"Yes?" Jade wondered what Luke was going to ask him.
"Well, it's—"
Luke was interrupted when an alarm went off and it surprised the others. Jade narrowed his eyes and went to speak through a pipe.
"What's going on?" Jade asked.
"A large flock of Griffons 20 kilometers ahead," Marco reported, "Total number unknown, contact in approximately 10 minutes. Commander, requesting permission to open fire with all cannons."
"You're the captain, the ship is yours," Jade replied.
"Understood Sir," Marco said and then gave the order, "Large swarm of monsters 20 kilometers ahead. All hands, battle stations! Repeat, all hands, battle stations!"
"You three should return to the cabin," Jade suggested.
"Wait a minute; Griffons don't normally work in groups, right?" Luke said.
"That's true," Tear said, "it's dangerous when monsters act unusually."
"Then something is definitely is going on, I have a bad feeling on this."
There was huge crash and they were making sure they kept their balance and then Jade went to speak in the pipe.
"What's wrong?" Jade asked.
"Ligers are dropping from the Griffons and are clinging on the hull and attacking. Wait, Oracle Knights are with them. Engineering is—uwah!"
Bridge! Respond Bridge!" Jade called out.
"Wait, Ligers are involved?" Luke said shocked, "And Oracle Knights?"
"It would seem so," Tear said.
"Luke," Mieu said looking at Luke with concern.
Luke was shocked and didn't know what was going on with the Ligers.
"I don't like it; I don't like what I'm hearing. I'm going to go check things out."
Luke started to run to see what was going on.
"Luke stop," Tear called out, "it's dangerous to go on your own right now."
Luke felt a presence and then he was suddenly pushed back and he saw a large man in black carrying a large scythe and a few Oracle soldiers were with him.
"That's right," The large man said.
Jade and Luke quickly casted fonic artes at the Oracle Knights and struck them and then the large man swung his scythe and it was blocked when Luke quickly drew his sword and blocked the scythe.
"Impressive boy," The large man commented, "but it would be best to not try anything," The large man looked at Jade, "Colonel Jade Curtiss, commander of the Third Division, Malkuth Imperial Forces…also known as Jade the Necromancer."
Tear was surprised in what she heard and looked at Jade.
"Jade the Necromancer?" Tear said shocked, "You…?"
"My, my, it's seems that I'm famous," Jade commented.
"It's can't be easy being well known," Luke said.
"Indeed it isn't Luke."
"Rumor has it that you go around the battlefield scavenging corpses," The large man said.
"But it can't be much compared to you," Luke said to the large man, "You're Largo the Black Lion, one of the Six God-Generals of the Oracle Knights."
"Well, well, you're well informed boy," The large man named Largo replied, "and a brave one at that since you came at me knowing who I am. I wouldn't mind crossing blades with both you and Jade the Necromancer but unfortunately, my job right now is to retrieve Fon Master Ion."
"Take Ion?" Luke replied, "Like hell we'll let that happen."
Largo pushed Luke back and Luke charged towards Largo again and they clashed their blades and they pushed each other back.
"You're a bit stronger than I expected boy," Largo said, "but I can't afford to continue with this," Largo looked at Jade, "Jade the Necromancer, letting you live now will lead to trouble for us later, so with that in mind…"
"Do you think you can kill me by yourself?" Jade asked glaring at Largo.
Largo brought out a cube, "If I seal your fonic artes."
Largo threw the cube and it stays floated over Jade's head and the cube activated and it affected Jade's fon slots.
"A Fon Slot Seal?" Tear spoke surprised.
"Jade!" Luke said worried for Jade and then glared at Largo, "You bastard!"
"I had intended to seal the Fon Master's fonic artes. I didn't think that I'd have to use it on you," Largo said, "Now then…"
Largo suddenly saw Luke charge at him, swinging his sword. Largo dodged the attack and Luke glanced up.
"Mieu, the third Fonstone from where you are," Luke said, "use fire now!"
"Yes Luke!" Mieu complied.
Mieu used fire on the third Fonstone and caused a blinding light, blinding and distracting Largo.
"Anise, get Ion now!" Jade said.
"I'm on it," Anise replied as she ran to do just that.
"I trust you know where to meet," Jade said.
"Don't worry," Anise replied.
Anise kept going and Largo regained his sight and saw Anise run.
"Oh no you don't!" Largo said.
Largo was suddenly hit with Tear's fonic hymn and it slowed him down again and Jade quickly formed his spear and stabbed Largo, surprising the tall Oracle God-General. Largo fell on the floor. Luke just looked at Largo lying on the ground and frowned.
"Largo is one of the Six God-Generals," Luke said in his head, "I have a bad feeling about this…what if…what if he really is…"
Luke clenched his teeth as Luke had some guess about something and hoped that what he was guessing was wrong and then he glanced at Tear.
"Anise will take care of Ion, we'll take back the bridge," Jade said.
"But your fonic artes are sealed," Tear pointed out.
"Indeed, it will likely take several months to fully undo the Fon Slot Seal, but as long we have your hymns as well as Luke's sword and fonic artes, we can still take back the bridge."
"Understood," Tear said and then looked at Luke, "Luke, let's go."
"Yeah, sure…" Luke responded.
"Luke, is something wrong?"
"Just this terrible situation…"
"Oh, well that's understandable…"
Jade looked at Luke and he figured it was more than what Luke was saying that was troubling the young red head. They left and went outside. Luke, Tear, Jade, and Mieu arrived to one of the decks of the Tartarus and there, they saw Ligers and Griffons roaming around. As soon as the monsters saw the four, they slowly approached them with intent to kill. Tear brought out her small knives and staff and Jade formed his spear and they both were ready to fight. Luke clenched his teeth and had his hand on the hilt of his sword. One of the Ligers saw Luke and had its eyes widened and then spoke to the other Ligers and then Ligers communicated with each other and then to the Griffons.
"What's going here?" Jade asked.
"I don't know," Tear said.
"Are they…?" Luke spoke, "Mieu, do you know what's going on?"
"Um…" Mieu spoke.
One of the Ligers walked towards the four a bit and spoke and then Mieu was surprised and then turned to Luke.
"Luke! Luke!" Mieu exclaimed.
"What is it?" Luke responded.
"They're saying they won't attack you."
"Really?"
"What does that mean?" Tear asked confused.
"Does it have to do with the Liger Queen?" Luke asked being hopeful.
"Yes, because of the negotiation you had with the Liger Queen and how you helped her, she commanded that all of her brethren not to attack you or anyone with you."
"I see," Luke said feeling happy, "I have the Liger Queen to thank for that."
"I can't believe this is actually happening," Tear said surprised.
"It seems being on good terms with the Liger Queen has its uses," Jade commented, "how very interesting."
"Jade, I hope you're not thinking of exploiting this," Luke said a glare.
"Why Luke, I have no idea what you mean," Jade replied with a shrug.
The Griffons cawed loud and angrily at the Ligers and the Ligers responded back angrily as well to the Griffons.
"Hey, what's going on?" Luke asked.
Mieu was listening and then turned to Luke.
"Luke, it seems that the Griffons are not thrilled with what the Ligers are doing and are ready to attack us."
"Damn..."
The Ligers stood in front of Luke and the others with the intent of protecting them from the Griffons. The argument between the two different monsters was heating up and Mieu was surprised when he understood what the Griffons were going to do.
"Luke, Luke," Mieu said, "The Griffons said they going to kill us and the Ligers."
"No way," Luke said as he drew his sword and stood side by side with the Ligers, "no way am I going to let that happen!"
Mieu spoke with the Ligers and the Ligers replied agreeing with Mieu and Luke and Tear and Jade prepared as they fight began. Griffons fought against the Ligers and Luke and his party while Mieu moved away to keep himself out of harm's way as Luke instructed him to do. A Griffon was about to claw a Liger but Luke stood in front of the Liger and slashed the Griffon. Tear used her fonic hymn putting three Griffons down and Jade finished them off with his spear attacks. Two Ligers pinned down the two Griffons and killed them. Luke finished off the remaining four Griffons by using Flame Burst and then slashed them with his sword. All the Griffons were dead and none of the Ligers lost their lives.
"Is everyone okay?" Luke asked.
Tear looked at herself and Jade and nodded.
"I believe so," Tear said.
"Mieu?"
"I'm fine Luke," Mieu replied and then spoke to the Ligers and then Ligers responded and Mieu turned to Luke, "they say they are okay as well."
"That's good," Luke said and then smiled.
The Ligers approached Luke and Mieu stood next to Luke as Ligers spoke and Mieu flapped his ears and turned to Luke.
"Luke, the Ligers said that Her Highness's human daughter is involved and that they are planning to take Ion somewhere," Mieu informed.
"I see," Luke replied, "who's ordering the attack?"
"Mieu, they say they don't know. They say that their queen's human daughter didn't say much. She just asked for help and they obliged."
"I see…okay, I understand."
"Well it doesn't change the situation," Jade said, "but wait, what about Anise?"
Mieu asked the Ligers about Anise and the Ligers answered and Mieu turned to the three humans.
"It seems that Anise's attempt to get Ion was prevented and she fell in a hole," Mieu answered.
"Is Anise okay?" Luke asked.
"They're sure she is."
"How can they be sure?" Tear asked, "Can we really trust what the Ligers are even saying?"
"I believe we can," Luke said, "after all, I made a promise to them and they want to see it through so, at the very least, the Liger Queen does."
"I'm sure as well," Mieu said, "Ligers really take orders from their queen and the queen is grateful to Luke for what he did and what he has promised to do and wants Luke to fulfill his promise."
"Which I will," Luke said with pride.
One of the Ligers spoke again and Mieu understood and then turned to the others.
"They say that they will do what they can provide cover for us while we get through," Mieu said.
"That will be a huge help," Luke said.
"Hmm, all right, we'll use the opportunity and get through," Jade said, "we need to retake the Tartarus."
Tear was still unsure if it was a good idea to trust the Ligers but she figured that she'll do something if it needs to be. The Ligers went on their way to do what they said they'll do while Luke, Jade, Tear, and Mieu moved on to go where they need to go. They continued on their path to where they need to go. They climbed one of the ladders and got to the upper deck. They walked and they saw an Oracle Knight guarding the area.
"Tear," Jade said.
"Yes," Tear said.
Tear sung one of her fonic hymns and the Oracle Knight guarding the area was affected and fell on the floor sleeping.
Jade, Tear, Luke, and Mieu walked by and got to the door that would lead them to the bridge.
"All right," Jade said, "we'll take back the bridge. Tear, if you will assist me."
"All right," Tear responded.
"Wait, are Mieu and I staying out here?" Luke asked.
"Yes, just in case any soldiers get here, call us immediately," Jade said.
Luke sighed, "All right, fine."
Tear and Jade opened the door and went in while Luke just stood by with Mieu.
"Tear is amazing," Mieu said happily, "with her fonic hymns."
"Yeah, it is impressive," Luke said.
There was a sudden crash and Luke and Mieu wondered what was going on as they heard a Liger and a Griffon fighting each other going all out loudly.
"Was that…?" Luke asked.
"Mieuuu, it must be a Liger and a Griffon fighting each other," Mieu said.
The Oracle Knight started to move and Luke was wide eyed and then when he saw that the Oracle Knight stopped, Luke sighed with relief.
"Oh man," Luke said and then just looked at the Oracle Knight, "stay asleep."
The Oracle Knight suddenly moved and swung his sword at Luke and Luke dodged the attack.
"Damn," Luke said, "that fighting with the Liger and Griffon going on loudly and causing some sort of ruckus, it affected Tear's fonic hymn and wore off, he's now up."
"Die!" The Oracle Knight roared.
Luke clenched his teeth and drew his sword and blocked the sword attack with his own sword. The Oracle Knight yelled and pushed Luke's sword back and swung strike Luke on his side but Luke dodged the attack and countered by stabbing the Oracle Knight in the chest. The Oracle Knight was surprised and fell on the floor dead. Luke panted and he looked at the tip of his sword and it had blood dripping from it.
"Damn," Luke said upset.
Tear and Jade rushed out and looked at what they were seeing.
"Luke, what happened?" Tear asked.
"This isn't good," Jade said, "the noise must have affected the hymn."
"I had no choice," Luke said upset, "no choice but to kill him. It's how it is, if we don't kill them, they'll kill us."
"Luke…" Tear said.
"If you're so afraid of killing, then throw away your sword, you worthless reject," A voice said.
"What the…?" Luke said.
Shards of ice suddenly rained down on Tear, Jade, and Luke. Luke and Tear were lost their balance and fell on the ground and lost consciousness but Jade was able to jump back and then someone appeared before Jade and he was in his black Oracle Knight uniform and he had long red hair and Jade was surprised when he saw the knight's face.
"And you're as tough to kill as they saw Necromancer," The red headed Oracle Knight said.
Two Oracle soldier arrived and a woman with blonde hair in her black Oracle Knight uniform arrived as well.
"Sir, what shall we do with them?" One of the Oracle Knights asked.
"Kill them," The red head said.
"Asch, have you forgotten your orders or have just decided to ignore them?" The blonde hair Oracle Knight asked.
The red haired Oracle Knight named Asch clenched his teeth and then had his hand on his head.
"Fine, restrain them and locked them in a cabin somewhere," Asch ordered.
Asch opened the door and went in and the blonde haired woman followed Asch. The two Oracle Knight proceeded to do what they were ordered and one of the Oracle Knights pointed his sword at Jade.
"I see," Jade said in his head, "I think I understand."
That's it for this chapter. Next chapter: Luke, Tear, and Jade plan a sort of counterattack and they decide to move on to head to their next destination.
