Choral Castle
Luke, Guy, and Mieu were near the entrance of the inn.
"So Luke, what did you want to talk about?" Guy asked.
"There's something that I want to ask you Guy."
"To ask me?" Guy replied, "What is it?"
"Well, what do you think of what Master Van said?"
"Huh, what do you mean?"
"Luke?" Mieu spoke.
Luke took a deep breath and spoke with Guy and Mieu. Afterwards, they went back in the inn and went to their rooms to sleep. Luke had something thought about everything that had something so far and he still felt an uncertain feeling.
The next day
Luke came out of the inn at the same time as everyone else and they were all ready to keep moving. Luke and the others showed the passports that Van had provided for them to the Malkuth guards and were allowed through. They walked to until they reached to the Kimlascan side and showed the passports to the Kimlascan soldiers standing guard.
"These passports…" One of the Kimlascan guard said, "We've received direct orders from His Majesty, the King to let you through immediately."
They were let through and Luke sighed with relief.
"We're finally back in Kimlasca," Luke said.
"Yeah, we just need to get you back home and it will finally be over," Guy said.
"Yeah…of course, it wasn't all bad," Luke said.
"It's been a while since I visited Kimlasca," Jade said.
"Really, when was the last time you came here Jade?"
"Hmm, three years ago."
"I see…well, if we go south from here, we'll get to the Kaitzur Naval Port," Luke said, "Count Almandine is in charge there so let's ask him for assistance."
"I agree," Guy said.
"Excellent, let's get moving," Jade said.
They left the Kimlascan side of the Kaitzur Border Fortress and made their way to the Kaitzur Naval Port.
Kaitzur Naval Port
Luke and the others had just arrived and when they did, they were hearing various noises and they looked around.
"What's going on?" Luke asked, "What's with all the ruckus?"
They suddenly heard roar of a monster.
"Sounds like a monster," Tear said.
"A monster here?" Luke responded.
They looked up and say a flying monster flying away from the city and they were surprised.
"That's one of Gloomietta's pets," Anise said.
"Gloomietta?" Guy asked.
"Arietta, the God-General Arietta the Wild," Anise clarified and getting close and tapping Guy's arm.
Guy was shaking asking Anise to stop touching him and Luke's eye widened.
"Oh no," Luke said and then he turned to Ion, "Ion."
"Yes Luke, I know," Ion said.
"It flew from the direction of the harbor," Tear said, "let's go."
The others agreed with Tear and rushed to get to the harbor.
"So Arietta came here after all," Tear said.
"Yep," Guy said.
"Huh, what about Gloomietta?" Anise asked.
"She attacked us at Fubras River as well; of course the miasma spewed out from the ground and stopped her."
"And Ion and I…" Luke said.
"We asked to let her go," Ion said.
"Wait, the Fubras River?" Anise asked, "That close by and already she's back," Anise growled, "she moves fast and she's so stubborn, never listens to anyone," Anise sighed as she was annoyed, "she such a pain."
"There's no use complaining about what has happened," Jade said, "let's get to the harbor."
They got to the harbor and they saw a ship that was just destroyed.
"Oh," Luke said, "that must have been the ship we would have used."
"Most likely," Guy said.
They looked they saw Van and Arietta and Van had his drawn sword pointed at Arietta. Luke and the others rushed over to them.
"Arietta, who gave you permission to do this?" Van asked.
Luke and the others rushed over and stood near Van.
"So it is you, I knew it," Anise said glaring at Arietta, "Stop causing trouble for people Gloomietta!"
"You all…" Van said in a low tone.
"I'm not gloomy," Arietta said, "you're mean Anise!"
"What happened?" Tear asked.
"Arietta unleashed her monsters on the ship," Van said.
"Commandant, I'm sorry," Arietta said, "Asch asked me to…"
Van was surprised to hear Asch's name and Luke was surprised as well.
"Asch?!" Van said surprised.
"Wait Arietta," Luke said surprised, "this Asch guy put you up to it? Why would you do what he asked? Why are you doing this?"
Arietta was sad when Luke asked her and then she held up her hand and was carried by one of her flying monster.
"I had to take away the engineer that can repair the ship," Arietta informed, "if you want him back, Luke and Ion have to come to Choral Castle. If they don't come, they'll…kill him."
"Engineer?" Luke asked and was shocked, "You don't mean…Arietta, stop! Why do this?"
Arietta looked at Luke with a sad expression, "I'm sorry Luke. I really didn't want to do this and I know Mommy wouldn't approve that I'm doing things would be done against you…but I…"
"Arietta!" Luke said.
"I'm sorry Luke," Arietta said with sadness, "I'm sorry Ion."
The flying monster flew away taking Arietta with it. Luke clenched his teeth and fists.
"Damn it," Luke said.
Van glanced over to Luke and narrowed his eyes while Guy patted Luke's shoulder making Luke look at his best friend.
"Van, how's the ship?" Guy asked.
"Out of commission I'm afraid," Van answered with a frown, "with the engineer kidnapped, we'll have to wait for the training ship to return."
Luke looked away with frown and was worried for the engineer and was concerned about the actions Arietta had taken as he asked himself if he was wrong.
"What is this Choral Castle that Arietta mentioned?" Jade asked.
"It's my father's vacation home," Luke answered, "I heard my father mentioned that he had to abandon it when the front lines of the Hod War began."
"There's one more thing Luke," Guy said.
"Huh, what is it?"
"Choral Castle is where you were found when you were kidnapped seven years ago."
"What, really?" Luke responded surprised.
"…I see you have no memory of that," Guy said, "guess your memories only started again back in the manor."
"Y-Yeah," Luke said, "but if I go there, maybe I'll remember something, you know, clues of what happened to me…what was done to me maybe."
"There's no need for you go Luke," Van said, "wait for the training ship to return to port. I'll deal with Arietta myself."
"But that means we'll be ignoring Arietta's demand," Ion said.
"Yeah, not to mention that the engineer will be killed," Luke said worry.
"I thought you desired to prevent a war from breaking out," Van said.
"Of course it is Master Van," Luke said, "but that doesn't mean we should just turn our backs when an innocent life is in danger. I can't in good conscious turn my back on something like this."
"Calm down Luke," Van said.
Luke stopped and Van sighed.
"Listen Luke, there's no need for you to worry," Van assured, "the only thing you can do right now is take the Fon Master back to the Kaitzur Border Fortress and wait. I'll head to Choral Castle and stop Arietta myself. I'll take care of everything."
"You really will Master Van?" Luke asked still worried.
"Luke, don't you trust me?" Van asked.
"Um, well…" Luke looked away.
"I'll take care of everything," Van said, "Luke, take Ion and head back to Kaitzur, understood?"
Van left and Luke just looked down and was worried. Luke looked over to Van as he left and just stayed quiet.
"Luke?" Ion spoke with concern.
"Let's leave here for now," Luke suggested with a downcast expression.
"Are you sure?" Guy asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Luke replied.
"Very well," Jade said, "then we should leave."
Tear and Anise nodded. Luke and the others walked and were making their way to the exit and as they were about to leave the Kaitzur Naval Port.
"Master Luke, Fon Master Ion, please wait!" A voice called out.
Luke and the others looked over and saw two men and Luke recognized the two men that running towards them as the maintenance workers for Kaitzur Naval Port. One of them had blonde hair and the other had long dark green hair that was tied to a ponytail.
"What business do you have with the Fon Master?" Anise asked as she got between Ion and the two men.
"Floyd, Ned," Luke said.
Anise was surprised when she heard Luke and she and Ion looked at Luke as he went to approach them.
"Oh, you remember us Master Luke," The dark green hair named Floyd said.
"Of course I would remember you guys," Luke said, "I did come here before with Natalia and Guy. Anyway, may I assume that you're worried about your chief, Chuck?"
"Yes, Arietta the Wild kidnapped him," The blonde haired man named Ned said with a nod, "please Master Luke, please save him."
"No problem," Luke said with determination, "I'll do whatever it takes to return back unharmed."
Floyd and Ned were relieved to hear what Luke said and were happy.
"Thank you so much Master Luke," Floyd said being grateful, "you know, our chief faithfully uphold the Score. He's a devout follower of the Order of Lorelei. He was relieved when he learned that this year's birth Score stated that calamity would be avoided."
"Very well," Ion said, "then we better get going."
"Huh?" Luke turned to Ion, "Wait Ion, you're coming along?"
"Of course, Arietta told me to come anyway."
"That may be so but still…"
"Luke, you were planning to go to Choral Castle on your own after getting to Kaitzur, weren't you?" Guy deduced.
"Um, yeah…" Luke slumped for being found out.
"Please Luke, I'm partly to blame for this. Let me do what I can to make up for it."
"You're not—"
"No, I am," Ion interjected.
"Well…I do feel the same as you."
"Luke…" Guy spoke.
"I do feel that part of it is my fault and I won't be able to relax knowing that an innocent person is in danger."
"And you were ready to head out on your own?" Jade asked.
"Yeah," Luke said with a nod.
"Are you certain you want to do this Ion?" Jade asked Ion.
"Arietta told me to come and I can't really bring myself to turn my back on this."
"I agree on this," Tear said.
"Oh, I actually thought you would be against it," Luke said.
Tear shook her head, "No and besides, if we were to abandon the one the Score foretold will be saved from calamity, we would be ignoring the Score and that would be going against Yulia's teachings and…"
"And?" Luke asked with a raised eyebrow.
"…Never mind."
Luke sighed, "Okay…"
"It is true that Score should be upheld," Jade said.
"Um well, I think we should go to Choral Castle too," Anise said.
"We should move," Luke said, "besides, that place could give me clues about what happened to me."
"Yeah, hopefully we'll know when we get there," Guy said.
It was agreed that Luke and the others would go to Choral Castle to rescue the maintenance chief Chuck. Luke also saw it as an opportunity to see if he get clues of his past and hopefully he would find out what happened to him seven years although he was getting a gnawing feeling about something and he could help but recalled when he faced Asch at Kaitzur and then remembered what happened back in the manor seven years ago when he was confront by the boy. Luke guessed that Asch and that boy from his memories of seven years were one of the same. Luke hoped that he would be able to take it was that he would find at Choral Castle as he and the others left the naval port and headed out for the abandoned vacation home of Duke Fabre.
Choral Castle
The party arrived to Choral Castle and they looked on.
"So is this it?" Luke asked.
"Yeah," Guy said, "this is Choral Castle," Guy then turned to Luke, "well Luke, anything coming back to you?"
Luke tried to think and remember but sighed sadly and shook his head.
"No, not a damn thing," Luke said frustrated.
"Don't force yourself," Guy said, "we'll probably find something to help you remember when we get inside."
"Yeah, I hope so…"
"Don't worry Luke," Mieu assured, "I'll do my part to help too."
"I see," Luke said and then smiled, "thanks Mieu."
"Sure!" Mieu said happily as he flapped his ears.
"Hmm, there's someone over there," Jade said as he noticed someone.
They looked and they saw someone who was looking at the castle and Luke, Tear, Guy, Ion, and Anise were surprised because they recognized the person.
"Hey, Master Cantabile!" Luke called as he rushed over to one of his teachers.
Cantabile heard Luke's voice and looked over and saw Luke and other people she recognized.
"Well well," Cantabile said, "it's you Luke."
"Master Cantabile," Luke said as he stopped and stood near her, "I'm happy to see you again."
"Same here," Cantabile said with a smile.
"Major Cantabile," Tear spoke.
"Ah Tear, there you are," Cantabile replied.
"Cantabile," Ion spoke.
"Fon Master Ion," Cantabile said and nodded, "I'm glad to see you all right. I heard that you had disappeared," Cantabile turned to Anise with a frown, "Anise, what is the meaning of this? Are you even doing your job as Fon Master Guardian?"
"Of course I am," Anise said upset a bit that Cantabile was questioning her integrity, "besides, they were just false rumors."
"False rumors?" Cantabile asked then turned and saw Jade, "Oh, it's you, the infamous Colonel Jade Curtiss, also known as Jade the Necromancer."
"Greetings," Jade said pushing up his glasses, "you're Cantabile, commander of the Sixth Division of the Oracle Knights."
"That's me," Cantabile said and then noticed Mieu, "Oh a cheagle…"
"This is Mieu," Luke said happily as he picked up Mieu to show Cantabile, "he's my new friend."
"I see," Cantabile responded.
"Hi there," Mieu said happily, "it's so nice to meet you Cantabile.
Cantabile was shocked and her eye widened hearing Mieu talk.
"H-Hold on," Cantabile responded, "D-did you just talk?"
"Yes," Mieu said happily.
"What the hell?" Cantabile said shocked.
"It's because of the Sorcerer's Ring he's wearing," Luke said.
"The Sorcerer's Ring?"
"Yeah, see?" Luke said showing the ring that Mieu was wearing.
"I see," Cantabile said amazed, "I have heard of it before but to think I would see it with my own eyes," Cantabile cleared her throat, "anyway so what brings you all here? In fact, I would like to hear what has been going on."
"Sure," Guy said.
They explained to Cantabile what has happened so far from when Luke and Tear ended up in Tataroo Valley to the situation involving Arietta.
"I see, so that's what has been going on," Cantabile said.
"Yeah…oh, speaking of which Master Cantabile, did you by chance see Master Van on the way here?" Luke asked.
"Um, no I haven't seen him," Cantabile answered.
"I see…" Luke said with a sad expression.
"Well, but at any rate, let's go on in."
"Wait Major, you're coming with us?" Tear asked surprised.
"Yes, there's something that I want to confirm here thus the reason I'm here."
"Confirm?" Ion asked.
"Yes, I'm certain that it's still here and…" Cantabile looked at Luke, "it may bring light to Luke."
"To me?" Luke responded.
"Yes…although how you will respond though…"
"Huh?"
"Let's go in," Cantabile said, "I'll help you all out."
"Really?" Luke said happily, "Great, thanks Master Cantabile."
"No problem," Cantabile said with a smile.
"You guys find it okay too, right?" Luke asked the others.
"I see no problem with it," Jade said, "It'll better our chances."
"I appreciate the help Cantabile," Ion said with the smile.
Cantabile bowed, "Of course Fon Master."
"Let's hurry," Ion said.
"Yeah, we have to save Chuck," Luke said, "and…stop Arietta."
"Something is not right though," Tear said as he looked, "no one has lived here for ages and yet…"
"There are signs of activities," Cantabile said, "I suspected as much myself."
"There are monsters," Mieu said, "I can feel them."
"Chuck must be inside," Luke said, "let's go."
They began to move and they went inside the castle.
"Man, I still can't remember much," Luke said sadly.
"Yeah, well I'm sure something will click with you as we wander inside," Guy said.
"I hope so," Luke said, "say Guy, can I ask you something?"
"Hmm, sure what is it Luke?"
"You've been with me before I lost my memories, right?"
"Oh, yeah that's right," Guy said with a nod.
"How was I back then?"
"Back then?"
"Yeah, before I was kidnap, what kind person was I back then?"
"Um…hmm, well…"
"Be honest with me Guy. Don't sugarcoat it, be truthful."
"The truth…well, you were different back then personality wise."
"I see…"
"The part of you that hasn't change is the fact that you're diligent with your studies."
"How was my interaction with you back then?"
"It was just a Master-Servant relationship."
"I see, so it wasn't how we are now."
"That's right."
"What about Natalia?"
"That hasn't change as well," Guy said with a smile, "you're still close."
"I see," Luke said feeling happy, "that's good. Now if I can just remember my words to Natalia, it would be great."
"Yeah," Guy said with a smile, "I'm sure you will soon."
"I hope so…"
Cantabile went to speak with Tear and they were out of earshot from the others.
"I heard you caused so much trouble in Baticul," Cantabile said.
Tear flinched a bit, "It wasn't supposed to be that way."
"But it did and all because you were being stupid and reckless."
"Major, please," Tear responded upset.
"Tell me Tear, did you tell Luke why you tried to kill Van?" Cantabile asked.
"No I didn't," Tear answered.
Cantabile sighed as she was annoyed, "I knew it. Why the hell not?"
"It doesn't concern him. He doesn't need to get involved."
"Hmph, quite a selfish thing for you to say."
Tear was shocked and she shook her head.
"It's not selfish," Tear insisted.
"It is," Cantabile insisted, "it's not only selfish but also it's quite arrogant of you."
"You don't understand Major Cantabile," Tear said, "it's something that I have to do alone. Van is my brother and it's because he's my brother that I have to stop him with my own hands. This isn't something that I can bring in Luke or the others for that matter."
"Does that include me?" Cantabile asked.
"I just need to do this," Tear insisted.
Cantabile sighed annoyed, "How annoying…"
"Besides, even if I told Luke my reasons, he'll never believe me."
Cantabile narrowed her eyes at Tear, "Do you know that for sure or are you just making assumptions?"
"I'm absolutely positive on this," Tear said narrowing her eyes, "Luke looks up to my brother and idolizes him, it was made even clearer to me when we were in St. Binah."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"I'm pretty sure you're mistaken."
"Do you believe in Luke?" Tear asked.
"It may come to a surprise to you Tear but yes, I do believe in that boy because he has some common sense and he does see things well, something that you seem to lack unfortunately and you're too stubborn to see the whole picture. I know I taught you better than that and not just me, Legretta as well."
Tear frowned when Cantabile said that.
"You would be wise to tell Luke the truth," Cantabile continued, "because if you don't, I will."
"You can't," Tear replied strongly.
"Hmph, I will if you don't."
"Major, don't," Tear said upset, "you shouldn't drag him into this."
"You don't understand Mystearica," Cantabile said, "This does not just concern you. Quit being stupid and selfish and stop acting like it's your problem alone. Saying that you're doing this on your own just because Van is your brother is an arrogant excuse and keeping quiet about what he's planning on doing isn't helping anyone, it's acting selfish."
"Major," Tear spoke and then looked away.
"Tell him or I will," Cantabile said.
Cantabile walked ahead and Tear frowned and felt bitter in what Cantabile had just said and was not sold on the idea saying anything to Luke and the others for that matter. As they continued on within Choral Castle, Luke ran up ahead and looked around.
"So this was our vacation home," Luke said, "hmm…"
"Luke, don't stray too far from the group," Guy said.
"You're being a bit careless Luke," Cantabile said.
Luke turned around and walked towards them a bit, "Oh um, sorry about that."
"Just be careful, that's all," Guy said, "We don't know what dangers may be lurking here."
"Sure," Luke said.
Luke turned and saw a weird lump looking statue and wondered what it was. The eyes suddenly glowed and moved.
"What the…?" Luke said surprised, "That statue moved."
"No, that's not a statue," Cantabile said, "That's fontech doll called Broken Goyle and Broken Chair."
"Broken Goyle and Broken Chair?" Tear said surprised.
Cantabile suddenly drew her katana and rushed and sliced the two-part monster in half with speed. Cantabile sighed and sheathed her sword while Luke, Ion, Guy, and Mieu were just in awe in what Cantabile did.
"That's amazing," Mieu said.
"Man, you're just as impressive Master Cantabile," Luke said.
"Oh this?" Cantabile replied, "It was nothing. It's not something to be that impressed. Let's be careful, I'm sure there are more monsters like these around."
"You're right Major," Tear said, "let us proceed with caution."
"Indeed, let's hurry," Jade said pushing up his glasses and then went and looked over to the fontech doll, "a fontech doll designed to keep out intruders although by the looks of it, it has seen better days."
"Indeed," Cantabile said, "there's probably more of these things within the castle."
The party continued on and fought against more fontech dolls and bats that were roaming within Choral Castle. The party was soon approached by a ghost and Luke, Guy, Cantabile, and Tear drew their weapons. They fought and defeat the ghost and when they did, a strange orb appeared.
"What's this?" Luke asked.
"Hmm, hold that for now Luke," Cantabile said, "we may need it."
"Do you really think so?"
"I'm sure of it."
There was a sudden wail and they looked and saw that Jade and Anise had just defeated another ghost that had a strange orb as well.
"Take it with us?" Anise asked.
"Yes," Cantabile said.
Luke looked over and saw the opened room, "Let's see what's over there."
"There?" Jade asked.
"Yeah, it's just a feeling," Luke said.
"A feeling?" Tear asked confused, "Should we really be moving based on feelings?"
Luke rushed over and the others called out to him as they went to catch up with Luke. They got to the study room and Luke saw a sort of sealed door.
"What's with this door?" Luke asked.
"Hmm, it looks like it's been sealed with special fonons," Tear said, "I wonder if there's something important."
"It must be," Cantabile said.
"Hmm," Luke pondered and then thought of something, "Say, why don't we try those orbs we got?"
"Let's see," Cantabile said, "I suppose it could work."
They used the two orbs they got defeating the two ghosts and placed them on the each side and it resonated and opened the door. They were amazed and they looked at each other with determination as they went through. They walked down the stairs and got to an area where there was a machine.
"I knew it…" Cantabile said in a quiet tone.
"What the hell?" Luke asked surprised, "What the hell is this weird machine doing here?"
"Is this…?" Jade spoke surprised.
"Colonel, do you know what it is?" Anise asked.
"No, I can't be sure," Jade replied.
"It's a fomicry machine," Cantabile said.
"Fomicry?" Luke spoke surprised and then looks at the machine, "So, this is a fomicry machine? But why is it here?"
"Jade, why did you lie just now, saying that you couldn't be sure what it was?" Cantabile asked, "You knew perfectly well what it is when you saw it."
"Jade?" Luke asked confused and then looked at Jade.
"Is this related with Luke's kidnapping?" Guy asked.
"Colonel, do you actually know something?" Tear asked.
Jade felt uncomfortable and closed his eyes as he pushed his glasses. Ion looked away with a sad expression. Luke looked at Jade, hoping that the Malkuth Colonel would say something but when he saw that he wasn't, he turned over to Cantabile.
"Master Cantabile, you know about this?" Luke asked.
"I've been doing some investigating for some time," Cantabile said, "my investigation led me learning about a fomicry machine placed here in Choral Castle."
"This is surprising," Guy said, "and if it has something to do with Luke…"
"It does I'm afraid."
"Then this must be related to my kidnapping, right?" Luke deduced and then looked at Jade, "Jade, I suspect that you know something. Please say something."
"I can't be sure," Jade said, "I need some time."
"You're trying to avoid the subject," Cantabile accused, "you think by not talking about it will just make things just go away," Cantabile glared at Jade, "it won't."
Jade looked away with a frown and Ion walked up and stood next to Cantabile.
"Cantabile, listen…" Ion spoke.
Anise suddenly screamed when she heard a screeching sound and surprised the others and she held on to Guy tight. Guy reacted screaming and flailed away from Anise yelling to stay away and he was on the floor shaking with fear.
"Guy!" Luke spoke as he rushed over to Guy.
The others were taken back by Guy's reaction.
"Guy, it's okay, it's okay," Luke said calming his best friend down.
Guy calmed down and took a deep breath. He and Luke stood up and Guy felt ashamed.
"I'm sorry," Guy said, "my body just reacted," Guy looked over to Anise, "Anise, are you okay? Sorry about that."
"I'm fine," Anise replied, "don't worry about it."
"I want to know Guy," Ion said, "I hope you don't get upset and you're not obligated to answer this, how did…well…"
"How did I end up with such a phobia of female contact?" Guy deduced, "Unfortunately, I really don't know. I know I wasn't like this when I was a kid. But there's a part of my memory that's completely missing. The cause may lie there."
"Oh, do you have a problem with your memories like Luke?" Mieu asked.
"No Mieu, Guy's problem is different from mine," Luke said, "Guy is only missing the memory of a single moment."
"Do you know that for sure?" Tear asked.
"It's true as Guy said it is."
"Exactly, the only thing missing is the memory of when my family was killed," Guy said.
Luke stiffed up a bit and had sad expression and looked away.
"Luke, is something wrong?" Guy asked with concern when he saw Luke's body language.
"Oh, uh n-nothing, nothing at all," Luke said, "I'm just concerned for you with what just happened."
"Oh, I see," Guy rubbed the back of his head, "sorry to worry you Luke."
"No, it's not your fault," Luke assured, "anyway, back to the matter…Jade, please tell us"
"Yeah, come on Jade," Guy said, "you know something about this fomicry machine."
Jade sighed, "Look—"
Jade was interrupted by a roar. Luke and the others looked over and saw a Liger on the other side.
"A Liger, here?" Anise spoke surprised.
"Well well," Cantabile said, "looks like one of Arietta's friends came to greet us."
The Liger stood and looked directly at Luke and Ion.
"Mieu, talk to him," Luke requested.
"Okay Luke," Mieu spoke and looked at the Liger, "Mieu, mieu. Mieu, mieu, mieu, mieu, mieu. Mieu, mieu, mieu!"
The Liger spoke to Mieu and then took off.
"Luke, he said to hurry and follow or it will be the end of the chief engineer," Mieu said.
"No, no!" Luke said upset.
"Luke, let's hurry," Ion said with urgency.
"Yeah," Luke said and turned to Jade, "Jade, will continue with this later. We need to hurry."
Luke and Ion rushed to follow that Liger.
"Hey wait for me!" Anise said as she rushed to catch up with them.
"I'm going to!" Mieu said as he rushed to catch up.
"Wait, it could be a trap!" Tear called out and then was annoyed to see them run off.
"Hold it, stop!" Cantabile said and then slumped, "Ah damn it. There they go."
"My my, there they go," Jade said with a shrug, "impetuous little ones, aren't they?"
"I understand that they're worried but I really wish they would use their heads," Guy said and then he sighed, "especially Luke, always rushing to help someone that he ends up blind about everything else around him."
"That boy," Cantabile said as she shook her head, "well, we better hurry."
Jade, Tear, and Guy agreed and ran to catch up with Luke, Ion, Mieu, and Anise. As they were leaving the room Jade glanced back at the fomicry machine and Cantabile narrowed her eye at Jade. Meanwhile on the roof of Choral Castle, Arietta just stood and waited with her flying monster friend, Hresvelgr. Arietta then turned around and looked at the Chuck, the chief engineer who was tied up and being held hostage. Arietta sighed sadly and looked turned forward waiting and she clenched her doll tight.
That's it for this chapter. Next chapter: Luke gets captured and a fight against Arietta with her two monster friends.
