NO ONE'S POV:

Rick, Daryl, and the prison man Oscar were all on edge. They were being shot at by many of the people they knew had Glenn, Maggie, and Destiny captive. The were hiding in an alley when they heard something.

A howl.

Rick recognized who it was coming from right away.

Destiny Bane.

She was in her wolf form at the followed his hearing through the alley and across the street. He and his comrades were being shot at, and Rick kept looking behind him to see if they were all still there. The black woman, Michonne, had left a while back because of, 'business she had to take care of' according to her.

"Rick," Daryl pointed ahead of them, "Its her."

Rick looked to where Daryl had been pointing, and sure enough, out of the grey smoke, from bombs that had been thrown, there was a white pelt that unmistakably was Destiny.

"Des!" Rick shouted, and the white wolf looked over at him. Rick swore he could see a smile on her face.

Destiny's POV

When I heard my name I looked over to where I heard it. I saw, Rick, Daryl, and one of the prison inmates coming towards me. The smoke clouded my vision a little, but I could still see them. I lifted my paw to the building where Glenn and Maggie were being kept.

I run in front of them, and they follow me, guns in hand. Even Daryl had a gun with him. No crossbow for this occasion I guess. It was still hung over his shoulder, however.

Upon arriving at the door, I could hear voices. I slowed my pace down so the other people in here wouldn't hear it. Rick and the others did the same as I. We walk down the empty hall, finding a few dead bodies that I had helped kill. I felt guilty, but when it comes to this new world, it really is kill or be killed. I hate to say it, but it really is true.

I was leading the rest of the group, and when I turned around another hallway I saw the people holding Glenn and Maggie. Merle was one of them, and another man I don't know the name of.

Rick saw Merle, and told Daryl to go check the perimeter outside. Does Rick not want him to see his brother?

It could cause trouble, though, so I understand his actions. Daryl reluctantly does so, and Rick blocks Daryl's view only long enough for him not to see his brother.

Glenn and Maggie are forced to their knees onto the ground, and bags are placed over their heads.

Fury bubbles inside me, they are not going to die tonight!

Without any plan in my head whatsoever, I run into the room where the execution is about to happen, and bite on a man's hand holding a gun. Unintentionally, the man's hand was ripped from his socket, and he yelled out in pain. Merle seemed to be surprised at my attitude, not truly knowing it was me, Destiny, the girl with strange white hair.

Merle ran out of the room the other way, and out a different door. The man whose hand I ripped off was bleeding out from his wound on the ground, and he tried to hold his broken hand and fix it. It was only holding to its body by a few muscles and veins, and I cringed at the damage I was capable of doing.

Rick took off the bags on Maggie's and Glenn's head. Glenn was even more bloodied than before.

We took them out of the place and back outside in the area of open fire. I ran to cover, and found myself near a bus. I hopped on the top of the bus with my paws extended outward and looked over to see that this place was barricaded. No wonder I hadn't seen any walkers in the little town.

I nod my head over to the other side, and barked a few times. I was the first to jump onto the other side of the bus. Rick followed, but when Maggie was about to hop over, the prison inmate, Oscar, was shot in the chest and died almost instantly.

My eyes widened, and I look to the person who shot him. I couldn't see through the smoke.

Damn, yet another has fallen.

Glenn uses a gun to shoot oscar in the head, so he doesn't turn. When we are all over the wall, we run.

The people inside of the city stay on their side of the wall as they shoot in all directions near us, and we all dodge bullets.

It's not an easy task, I will admit. There is a train by some tracks, and we take a moment to recover behind it. A few moments later, a black woman comes out from under the train with blood on her head and face. she had cuts and bruises all over, but she didn't seem hostile to Rick.

But Rick was hostile to her.

"Where were you?" Rick points his gun at her threateningly.

"I told you, off to take care of business," she says simply.

No one likes the unsettling feeling of her answer.

"Did you see Daryl?" Rick asks.

I look around, and notice Daryl isn't here, I remember Rick telling Daryl to go off, but I don't remember meeting back up with him.

So where was he?

"I didn't see him," She says, "But if you want to go back in there, you will need me, and if you want to get back to the prison, you'll still need me as a guide."

Rick weighs his options, and knows that he needs her. With a little bit of convincing, we were able to get the black woman, who we now knew as Michonne, to take us back to the city and help us find Daryl.

It wasn't too far, and most of the citizens weren't on the streets, but we heard their cheering from a large dome-like structure, and torches in the ground at the entrance were lit there. We head towards there stealthily. I mainly followed in Rick's lead, still in my wolf form.

When we saw the crowd surrounding a pit of dried dirt, I didn't know what to think. I caught of glimpse of Daryl and Merle fighting against each other, and then Merle taking Daryl to the ground. It seemed like Merle's attitude changed, and soon they were both on their feet and fighting oncoming walkers together that were being brought in by other people with choker leashes. Merle used his metal guard on his hand to take out some, and Daryl knocked them over and stomped on their heads, killing them that way. They were a good team together, they knew when one another needed help.

Maggie knocked out one of the guards that was looking at the fight and not paying attention to us and took his gun. Glenn did the same, and Rick pulled out his revolver and kept it close to his chest as he makes his way closer to the crowd. I walk next to the walls and out of sight until I am at a point where I can wait for Rick's signal to attack. It's only a capture mission, we won't kill anyone more than necessary.

Rick lifts his gun into the air, and makes his first shot. he shoots at a walker who is nearing Daryl, and Daryl looks around to see who is helping. He catches Rick's eye and the side of his mouth twitches into a smile for a second.

We all flood in and shoot at both walkers and people attacking us. I see Daryl and bark to get his attention. He doesn't hear me over the shouting of others in the suburb. No one really notices me enough to know I'm a threat, except for when Merle sees me. He must remember seeing me pass him when I was with Glenn and Maggie.

Merle says something like, "It's that bitch dog who injured half of my men!"

Daryl looks at me, and then back at his brother, clearly confused, the he says, "She's one of the people in my group, don't hurt her, she's going to help us get outta here."

Merle doesn't like me, but he trusts his brother, and he runs after me a few yards away.

There's a man who is looking at Daryl's bow, trying to shoot it, and Daryl grabs it out of the random man's hands and puts it over his shoulder and keeps running. I run to Rick, and nudge his leg so he sees that I got Daryl, so we can leave. Rick calls for Glenn and Maggie, who are shooting at some more walkers that the Governor's men set at us. They pick up their guns and follow us to leave. Michonne leads and I follow close behind her, trying to sniff out any threats.

We all escape the wall without being shot or bitten. The dead walkers around us at the foot of the wall stink but lie motionless, so I can't complain too much. It's night time now, and many walkers are lurking the dark. Daryl shoots arrows at the walkers, and Michonne slices many heads off. The goal of this is to stay silent, and to not attract any more unwanted attention.

We arrive to a silver car, and Rick stops.

"We need to discuss a few things," he says.

"What's there to talk 'bout?" Daryl says.

"Him," Glenn says, looking at Merle, "He tried to kill us. The people he knows are crazy."

"Des," Rick kneels down to me, I look at him, "You should get back to the Prison, do you think you can find your way back?"

I nod my head.

"Good, the others and I have to discuss a things, and it will get a little messy. Merle is the kind of person you want to stay away from," He looks over at Daryl and Glenn fighting.

"Just take this road up to the prison. It's a straight shot from here," Rick pats my head, and walks over to the group.

I turn around, and walk the direction Rick told me to. I hear the distant yelling of Daryl, Rick, and Merle at each other and decide to run faster. I'm sprinting, with the rumble underneath my feet. It might have been miles and miles of running, with my front paws and then my back paws going forward at such a high speed, I think I could put a car to shame.

I wonder why Rick wanted me to go back to the prison alone?

Is something bad going to happen with Merle and Daryl?

Will Merle come back to the Prison with us?

What about Michonne? Will she come back with us?

All of these questions are racing my mind on my venture home.
