Disclaimer: Sadly I still don't own Twilight, but I can still dream.

A/N: I like switching point of views. It gives me a chance to explore different perspectives and different ideas. Also I'm really sorry this chapter took so long. I had midterms last week, and well school out ranks writing. I'm all set to graduate from college in two and a half years and I can't if I fail a class.

"I'll figure something out sweetheart. Wait here for the family I'll be back soon." Carmen says as she runs out the door.

"What am I supposed to do until then? Carmen!" All I hear is her laugh as she continues on the way to Bella's house. I know she can't fix everything, but I hope she can at least make it to so Bella will talk to me and be friends for now.

"Tanya Denali! What the hell did you do to Bella?!"

Carmen's P.O.V.

I left Tanya alone so she could get herself together before the rest of the family arrived. I also needed a bit of time to myself to figure out how I was going to talk to Bella. She didn't sound like she was willing to hear Tanya out what would make me any different?

"I guess I'll just have to wing it." I say out loud to myself.

I continue to run until I've reached Bella's house. I see her horrid old Chevy truck outside on the curb and a police Cruzer in the driveway. That must mean Charlie is home. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do exactly, but I have to try for Tanya's sake.

Slowly I walk up to the front door and ring the doorbell, and hope that Charlie answer's. Lucky me on the other said I hear a deep voice that I feel is safe to assume is Charlie say "I'll answer the door Bells you can finish cooking."

I take a deep breath and hope I can pull this off long enough to get a chance to talk to Bella. It feels like forever until Charlie finally opens the door, and he looks almost amazed when he sees me standing there. "Um, hello. Can I help you?

"Hello, my name is Carmen." I say as I reach my hand out for him to shake. "I'm a friend of Bella's. Is she here?"

"Uh yeah she is. Hold on for a sec." He leaves the door open as he starts to walk back to the kitchen. "Hey Bella, your friend is at the door."

"Which one," She asks.

"Just go see, I'll watch the food and try not to burn it." He says as he walks into the kitchen and she walks out. When she sees me she stops and looks at me confused and looks like she doesn't want to talk to me.

"Hello Bella," I say quickly before she has the chance to walk away. "Can we please talk? I know you probably want us to leave you alone, but I really need to talk to you. After I'm done if you want I'll leave and never come back. I promise."

"Okay. We can talk in my room." She says as she yells to Charlie that we were going to talk in her room for a bit. He gives her a grunt so she knows he heard her as she starts to walk up the stairs expecting me to follow.

On the way up the stairs Bella almost fell twice. I am very worried about her balance issues she seems to be very clumsy, and that's not a good thing especially since she has been spending a lot of time around vampires. Upon reaching her room she waits for me to walk instead before she closes the door and goes to sit down on her bed. Once she's settled she crosses her arms and stares at me waiting for me to say something.

"Okay you have my attention Carmen. What's so important?" She says with a harsh tone. What happened to the Bella from earlier?

"It's about what Tanya asked you earlier. I know what she said really upset you, and I can understand why. She honestly never intended for that to occur, but she was just so excited she couldn't help herself. I know that's not the greatest excuse, but if you just gave her a chance to explain it wouldn't seem as bad as it does. She never meant to offend you in any way or hurt your feelings. Tanya really cares about you." I said trying to keep my speech slow.

"Why was she excited?" Out of everything I just said that's what she decided to focus on the most? She is definitely a strange one like our cousins said, but it's a very endearing trait.

"She's always wanted to meet you, and now that she's had the chance she couldn't help herself." I feel bad for not being able to tell Bella the whole truth, but it's not my place to tell her.

"Why would she want to meet me? I'm just plain ole' human Bella. There's nothing special about me." She said the last sentence bitterly. Which makes me wonder what did Edward say to her to make her think that about herself?

"Why would you say such a terrible thing about yourself? You are an amazing human and there is nothing plain about you. You are in fact very special. It makes me extremely sad to her you talk about yourself in such a manner."

"Not special enough for the Cullen's to stay….," She mumbles underneath her breath almost too quiet for me to here. She is looking anywhere, but at me and she can't keep her hands still.

"Bella," I whisper as I start to move towards her. "Would you please look at me?" I slowly crouch down in front of her and gentle place my hands on her knees. I wait for her to look me in the eyes before I say anything. "I can't speak for the Cullen's, but I can say that they are idiots to leave somebody as beautiful and kind hearted as you behind. I'm so sorry they hurt you." I just really want to hug her and make her pain go away like a mother should.

"Yeah, but they still left without so much as a goodbye." She says trying to hold back her tears.

"Bella I don't like seeing you in so much pain. It makes me terribly sad, and I just want to help you." I wish I could cry right now.

"I'll talk to her….," Bella says randomly.

"You'll talk to Tanya?" I say just for clarification.

"Yes, but only because you asked me too," She says not looking at me again.

"Thank you." I really wish I could hug her right now.

"But I can't handle it today. I'm sure she programmed her number into my phone." She looks at me and gives me a tiny smile.

"You would be correct in your assumption." I say smiling back.

"Okay, I'll call her whenever I feel up to it." She says looking away from me again.

"Fair enough," I say. "I think your food is going to burn," I add as I start to smell a faint hint of burnt flesh.

She rolls her eyes and groans. "Seriously, Charlie?" She says as we both stand up. "Well I need try and save dinner. I'll call Tanya when I'm ready." She says as we start our way back downstairs.

"Okay," I say as we reach downstairs. I really want to ask if I can hug her before I leave.

Almost as if she read my mind, "Yes you can hug me." Is all she says. I smile and gently pull her into a hug. She hugs me back, and she has no idea how happy that made me.

Slowly I release her and gently push her towards the kitchen before the house burns down. "Good night Bella," I say as I walk towards the door to let myself out. "Bye Charlie!" I shout loud enough for him to hear.

"Bye!" He shouts back as I start to walk out.

Again Bella smiles and says bye before I close the door.

I start back towards the house smiling excited to deliver Tanya the good news. I mean she's not going to be happy about waiting, but she'll just have to deal with it for now.

A/N: And that is the end of chapter 7. I tried not to end on a cliff hanger considering I left y'all hanging for so long.
