Hello Chapter 61! I'm feeling good and really wanted to put all of my effort back into this story. This fanfiction has become my project over the last three years and I'm so happy I've gained all your support throughout the process. Thanks for reading and please leave me a review for any fun wedding ideas. Let me know how you feel about this chapter and the different mix of characters I used this time. I thought it would be fun to write a discussion between these two in particular. Anyway, enjoy and let me know if you liked it! - MJ123 XOXO

Morning came and Alex was lucky that Norma stepped out to complete some errands that "had to be done". It would give him time to continue the never ending wedding location search. There was no doubt in his mind that this ceremony had to be special and heartfelt, one of the many reasons the couple chose to elope, but it was so hard to find the right area.

As he puttered outside, another stroke of luck came...Emma. She was a female, right? She knew what women liked and found romantic. There was no way he couldn't ask her for help, he would just need her to keep quite about the reception. God forbid anyone were to find out.

She was standing by the office, looking over some piece of paper. He slowley paced up to her, eyes out to make sure no one else was around, "Hey, Emma," he started, friendly yet still stoic enough to keep any questions she may have had haulted.

"Oh," she smiled, adverting her kind eyes to his, "Hey, Sheriff. What can I do for you?"

"Uh…" he looked around awkwardly, thinking of the proper way to bring it up, "I needed your input for something but I can't really- I need you to stay quite about it."

She just nodded and rolled her arms in a "keep going" expression.

"Look, Norma and I are gonna elope. We didn't want anyone to know about it, okay? And-

"You two are going to elope?" she asked, her young eyes filled with a sweet, over glazed look. This was clearly the wrong person to talk to.

Too late to go back now, Romero.

He sighed, keeping his look trained on the ground, "Yep. We are gonna get married but in a private setting, away from all of this craziness, y'know? And I'm supposed to find a good place to do it. I just, I can't for the life of me find anywhere nice. Not in this shitty town at least."

She nodded, "You want me to help you find somewhere pretty, right?"

He hated when people did that. He hated asking people for help and having them be overly happy to assist. This wasn't supposed to get out anyway. But like the unromantic guy he was, he couldn't muster anything good enough that would please his soon to be wife and of course the only thing he wanted was for her to be happy on their day.

"Yes. Essentially. I just need somewhere that she would like. Nothing too extraordinary but nothing boring either. I don't know, I just need a place," he explained, already feeling nervous about any choice he would make.

"I think I have somewhere really nice that you would both love. It's really pretty, it's the beach near the old fishing lot. I had Bradley Martian's remembrance party their a few years back. I know it's not really a good subject to conitate with your wedding but...I mean, it's small, quite, and you can really see the sunrise and set over White Pine there."

He thought about it...a beach. They already decided on something of the sort when they originally sat down to plan a full, big wedding. He didn't hate the idea of marrying her in that setting, it was pretty and peaceful. Emma won here, he was just shocked that he couldn't come up with that simple idea as quickly as she had. He was grateful, but of course he wouldn't exactly show it.

"Thanks, Emma. I think I may take you up on that."

With that, he started back to the house, but she wouldn't let it go.

"Wait a sec," she said, following closely behind him, "Don't you want my help decorating or finding some kind of minister to make your vows offical?"

"Nope," he said, "No, thank you. I just needed to find a place. I got a fair handle on everything else that needs to be done. And I uh- I appreciate the help I do."

"Well, okay," she said, seeming disappointed at his lack of reliance on her. "But let me know if you need help with anything else, though. Norma is like my own mother and I want her to be as happy as can be as well so...yeah. Just tell me when you need more help."

"Yep. I will, Emma. Thanks. And please just don't say anything to anyone, okay?"

"You have my word, Sheriff. I won't let anyone hear about the plans," she winked, walking back to the office.

He sighed and silently thanked anything that could hear him for the ease of that situation.

Though the location was picked out, there was stili so much to do. And a lot of areas that he could screw up in. Whatever he decided to do, it would take a lot of time and effort.

Thanks for reading and remember to keep up with the updates! I think I finally got my writing mojo back - MJ123 :)
