Flinky: Hello world! I think I'm going to stop talking about when I put out a chapter, because I can never seem to listen to that kind of deadline.
Red: You said it would take around two weeks!
Flinky: I'm bad with release dates.
Red: How many readers do you think will get that reference?"
Flinky: I dunno.
Michael: If you can't tell, it's what Scott Cawthon said when he released FNaF 4 three months earlier than he expected.
Red: Yea, well, whatever. Time for reviews!
Flinky: First one from Grey917, who's done some other helpful reviews. Thank you for the complement, and as for original Red's team, I'm undecided as of the moment. They definitely will come in during a battle against him-
Red: Spoilers!
Flinky: Come on. I don't think there's a single person who's reading this far into the story who doesn't think Red will have an epic battle with Fire Red. I don't even have any ideas for it yet (as I've said before, most of this is made up on the spot).
Red: I guess...
Flinky: Moving on, there's OverlordMiles'. BurningLeaf shipping (I think that's what RedxLeaf is) isn't going to be that important to the story, but it will still be there.
Flinky: Finally, there's DisneyWriter's. I have never seen Day's of Future Past, so I cannot really understand the relationship. Now, on with the story!

It's been a day since we took down Team Rocket's base. They know we're going to take Celadon, but they don't know when or how, which is an advantage. The other side though, is that we don't know ourself.
"Maybe knock the tower down… no, too many casualties… Sneak in… but they would expect us to do that…"
"Red! Any ideas yet?" Blue asked.
"Nothing yet."
"Are you sure we can't just sneak in? That was quite frankly, the easiest method."
"Yea, but they probably have something figured out to stop us. We did that at almost every location."
"Ugh, you're right… Well, carry on."
I am out of ideas, so let's go to the base. The goal is to take out the executive, and either destroy or control the top of the tower. To defeat the executive, we have to put him or her in a location in which their only choice is to battle. To get to that point, we have to disarm them and make sure they cannot call on backup.
I think I'm starting to get somewhere. If we can block off the door to the grunt's barracks, then backup is out of the question. The remaining problems are to disarm the executive, and to isolate them. Disarming is easy. I can just have one of my Pokémon use Psychic to take off all weapons.
That leaves the final issue: getting the executive to a point where I can get to them. Maybe...or I could… there's a chance… I give up. I'm done for now.
During lunch, I talked about the situation with the others.
"Yea, that is tough," Michael said. "Executives almost never go into public. What was her name? Erika?"
"Yea, that was it," Blue said.
Leaf froze. "I think I heard that name before," she said.
"I guess it would make sense, given that you lived here," I reasoned.
"Yea, just I can't remember where it's from…"
"Well, tell us when you remember. It's a fairly important detail."
"Hold on… Got it. Erika was a teacher at Celadon University."
"A school. Great," I said, sarcastically.
"Why so down on them?" Blue asked.
"Two reasons. First, not to quote Jaden Smith, but school is the tool to brainwash the youth into thinking Team Rocket is the good guys. Second, I never really did well in it."
"How come?" Michael asked.
"ADD."
"I guess that makes sense," Leaf said. "Anyways, I remember her working there."
"Then I guess that's a good starting point. Let's put on some regular clothes, find a way to hide Michael's Snag Machine, and look around in the city."
We stole some clothing from a store on the outskirts of town. I had darker jeans than I normally wear and a plain black shirt. I stuffed my hat in my bag. Hopefully, the bag won't attract too much attention. Most people recognize us by either our hat or hairstyle (not pointing fingers at Blue or anything). Speaking of which, Blue and Michael changed their hair so that it actually looks normal.
We went off looking for the university. According to my Pokégear and the vast internet, class should be in session. People will get suspicious if they see us, but it's unlikely that it will happen.
The university was medium sized. I looked for any signs of the name Erika, but to no avail. I don't even know her last name.
I asked a student.
"Hello, I'm looking for someone named Erika. Do you know where she is?"
"Uhh, yea. Her classroom is Room 296."
"Thank you."
Using a directory, we navigated to room 296. We looked in and saw a young lady teaching a small class.
"Think that's her?" Michael asked.
"Probably. I say we tail her and see if there is any sign of her being a Rocket."
"That's a good idea, but how do you suppose we do that?" Blue asked.
"I could have Storm carry a camera and follow her. We just need a camera."
"I have a Pokégear that I don't use," Michael offered.
"That could work, but why don't you use it?" I asked.
"I have a device from Professor Crane that I use more often."
"Okay then."
We spent the rest of the day on the campus, and keeping track of who we assume to be Erika. Eventually, I noticed her pack up. When no one was around, I set up the video stream from Michael's Pokégear to mine and gave it to Storm. He carried it up and followed her.
We left and kept track of Storm's progress through the Pokégear and Pokémon locater on his ball.
The stream displayed her entering her car, driving off, and pulling up next to the tower. There, she scanned a card and entered the building.
"Well, that's all the proof for me," I said.
"I guess it makes sense," Leaf said.
"I'm a bit tired though. Can we start this tomorrow?"
"Yea," Blue said. "It's too late to be overthrowing this totalitarian society right now. Maybe in the morning."
"You know, that's one of those things that only us can say. 'Do you want to end the dictatorship now or in the morning?'" Leaf said
"Well, the others in Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh can too," I added.
"Yea, but we haven't heard from them recently."
"I'm sure the author will include a special chapter talking about them once we're done here in Celadon," I said.
"Alright then," Leaf responded.
After getting Storm, we left the city (but not before getting our regular clothes washed). Tomorrow, we'll take this city down!
Line Break
"Red, greetings."
Wha- dreaming. Definately dreaming.
"Who are you? I am getting tired of this."
"Leaf didn't tell you? I'm Mewtwo."
"Like, the Mewtwo I almost killed and who killed my Pokémon? And were you the one who's contacted me for the past couple months?"
"I do not blame you for the action of attempting to kill me. I could tell it wasn't you who made that decision. Likewise, I hope you can forgive me for taking your Umbreon's life, for I had no control over the actions Giovanni ordered me to preform. And yes, I've tried to ask you for help, before Team Rocket woke me up, through dreams."
"Alright then, but why did you contact me?"
"Two reasons. First, to apologize for what I have done. Second, to tell you about Team Rocket. Giovanni has acquired a Celebi-"
"We already found out."
"...Oh. Okay then. The other thing though is that Team Rocket can no longer brainwash their opposition."
"How come?"
"They used my excess psychic energy to convert people to their cause. Now that I am free, they can no longer do that."
"Okay. Is that all?"
"Almost. I also have a request. The next time we meet, I would like you to capture me in a Pokéball. Not so I can be with you, but so Team Rocket can't capture me."
"Like in Ashes of the Past? Sorry, nope. I'll figure out something more creative next time we meet."
"Well… Okay then. Farewell Red."
Then, I woke up. Now I have to find a way so that Mewtwo can't be captured without him being bound to a ball. Maybe Blue and Michael can help me with that later.
Speaking of them, they were still sleeping. Leaf's sleeping bag was empty. I got up to look around and make sure she was fine.
I found her near a lake, sitting on a boulder.
"Hey Leaf!"
She looked over, then looked back. I climbed up and sat next to her.
"Why are you all the way up here?" I asked.
"I just wanted to relax, seeing as how we're going to destroy a city's government."
"I don't do relaxation that well," I admitted. "It's impossible for me to empty my mind."
"Yea, I can see that…"
We just looked out at the lake. The sun was starting to rise too.
"This is starting to remind me of those romance flicks," Leaf said.
"Never watched them. I'm more into explosions, guns, and gadgets."
"That doesn't really surprise me."
There was a silence.
"You know Red, there's something I wanted to tell you."
"Let me guess. Is it something along the lines of 'I love you' or 'I've had a crush on you for the past year'?"
She punched me in the arm. "Way to ruin the moment."
"Well, I'm not that oblivious. And yes, I love you back, thank you for asking."
We looked at each other, before Leaf gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"Okay, that's enough for now. Let's head back before the others wake up," I said.
"Right."
As we turned around, I heard a laugh from the bush.
"Blacklight! See who's in the bushes over there!"
My Umbreon used Psychic to lift up a still giggling Blue and Michael, the former of whom had a video camera.
"Omni, transform into Porygon and delete the video!"
Before Blue could react, Omni entered the camera and took out the files.
Once she was done, she transformed back.
"So, you finally talked about it with Red?" Omni asked.
"You are literally going out of your way to make sure that I hear this," I said.
"Maybe…"
After some threatening, bribing, and Blackmail, we convinced Blue and Michael to not talk about it until we want to.
We packed up camp, and set off for Celadon city.
"So, what's the plan exactly?" Michael asked.
"Okay. I want Blue to lock up the grunt's barracks and make sure they can't escape. Barricade, melt the hinge, jam it, whatever. Just make sure they won't be able to get out. Michael, stall her car so she arrives about ten minutes late. Leaf, you'll send Erika's students away from the classroom. I want it so that when she arrives, it's only me and her. I'll be hiding in the classroom with Blacklight. When it's time, he'll use Psychic to take away any weapons she may have. Then, we'll battle. We'll see what to do from there."
"I got no problems," Blue said.
"I'm fine with it," said Leaf.
"Lets do it!" Blue yelled.
-Blue's POV-
I set off for the grunt's barracks. It was annoying to have to hide so much with constant grunts everywhere, but I did get there.
The door was electric. That means I can either fry it or hack into the system. Since I'm not Michael, frying the circuits seems like the best option. Problem is, I don't have an Electric-type. That would work so well too, given that the entire thing is metal… I am an idiot. (I can mentally hear Red saying "Took you this long to find out").
"Growlithe, melt the door!" I ordered.
The fire started to cause the door to become connected to the ground.
"Wartortle, cool it off!"
With the water, the door was hardened and not budging. I told the others that on my Pokégear and set up a chair to sit in. It's going to be a long day.
-Michael's POV-
Well, this is actually getting fun. She drives an automatic, so when I messed with her car's gears, she can't do much to fix them. I basically removed the two fastest speed, so she'll never go more than 30. If my predictions are correct, she'll be 8 minutes late to school.
-Leaf's POV-
Quite frankly, I had it easy. I just put up a sign that read: "Class in cancelled today. You may have a free period." Most people wanted to believe it and did. The room was entirely empty, save for Red.
Then, I saw Erika approaching. I took down the sign and hid.
-Red's POV-
I am hiding in a stranger's closet. That sounds nice. I am currently peaking out to see when Erika comes in. Eventually, the door opened and she entered.
"Where is everyone?" she asked herself.
I burst out of the closet with Blacklight right behind me. My Pokémon used Psychic to remove a pistol underneath her kimono (I think that's what it is). He tossed it out the window, where hopefully Leaf will receive it.
She looked surprised, then realized what was going on.
"We knew you were coming for a long time. Three days, to be precise. In fact. I have a special group of guards to deal with you specifically" She touched her earpiece. "I want group 7D in Celadon University, in room 296. Red is here."
I heard the response, given how quiet it was.
"Mam, the door is not opening. We're getting oxygen and have enough food and water, but we can't leave."
She crushed the earpiece.
"Smartass," she said.
"I get that a lot. Now, do you want to begin?" I asked, readying a Pokéball.
"You think I'm going to battle you? Of course not."
"If you win, you can leave."
"What do you mean?"
She went up to open the door, but it was barricaded from the outside.
"I hate you."
"Now do you want to begin?"
"Fine…"
"Three on three good for you?"
"Whatever…"
We cleared some desks out of the way, then went to individual sides of the room.
"Win this Victreebel!" She called.
"Go, Blade!" I yelled, sending out Scyther.
"Use Acid Victreebel!"
"Dodge, the X-Scissor!"
Normally, I don't get too cocky (in battle), but this looks fairly easy to me. Ignite can finish up whatever Blade leaves behind.
In the battle, Blade pulled off a perfect X-Scissor. It took Victreebel out in one hit.
"I guess this isn't that much of a challenge since I took out Gold," I noted.
"I wouldn't be too sure. Tangela, beat the bug!"
Her Tangela went out.
"Poison Powder! Make sure it hits!"
"Try to dodge!"
I already knew it was hopeless to not get hit. When someone sprays a Poison Powder, and there's no moves to blow it away, it's kinda hopeless.
Blade started showing signs of his condition.
"Pull through it! I know you can!" I yelled. He looked okay to keep going, so I gave my next order. "Bug Buzz!"
It was another one-hit KO. Unfortunately, the poison was getting worse. I don't think I'll have that much time left before Blade goes down.
Erika said very loudly "Hmm… I wonder who I'll choose...maybe...no…" She's stalling.
"Blade, return!" I called. No point in making him suffer more.
"Finally got that thing off. Now I can actually use Grass-Type moves. Vileplume, let's bring this back!"
"Go, Ignite!"
Instead of a Charmeleon going out, there was a huge Charizard. I don't remember him evolving though…
"You have got to be kidding me…"
"Ignite, that's you, right?"
He looked back at me and gave me a thumbs up and his half-smile. Yep. That's him.
"Alright! Ignite, Flamethrower!"
Instead of a Flamethrower though, he shot a Fire Blast instead. Apparently, he learned the move. That move also took down Vileplume.
"Ugh… I was destroyed…"
"Three, two one…"
Her expression changed from disgust to surprise.
"I can't believe what I've been doing… Hurting innocent people…"
"Well, I take it you're free?"
"Yes… I am… Thank you for that. I am most grateful, not just for saving me, but also what you've done in the past."
We exited the room, where we were greeted by Leaf. Michael showed up too, and we picked Blue up at the grunt barracks.
Erika said "You four have done your part. The rest is up to me."
We just walked away, this time showing off our clothes earning surprised stares from people on the street. A grunt stopped us but we quickly dealt with him. Eventually, a kid ran up to us.
"I was wondering, are you the terrorist group they talk about on the news?" He was a boy of about 7.
"We're not terrorists. We free people," I responded.
"My mommy says that you're just trying to cause chaos."
"You're mommy is wrong." I took out Ignite's Pokéball and sent him out. "This is my first Pokémon, Ignite."
His eyes lit up. "Whoah! A real, live Charizard!"
"This is the first time you've seen one up close, right?"
He just nodded.
"Well, do you want to know why?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why you've never seen a Pokémon like this in real life?"
"Uhh… I guess. Why?"
"Because of Team Rocket. They don't want humans and Pokémon to mix."
"But isn't that for our safety?"
"Not your safety. Team Rocket's. If they let people meet with Pokémon, they might get overthrown."
"That's not what my mom said."
"Well, your mom and I disagree. Now, I'm going to go back to work."
After some consideration, we decided to ride our Pokémon away, to make a point. I mounted Ignite, Blue used Fearow, Leaf used Ditto (transformed into a Pidgeot), and Michael used Omni (currently a Staraptor). We flew away, leaving behind a surprised group of people.
We all landed on top of a skyscraper. No reason to, just wanted to check it out. The view was nice.
"So, what to do now?" Blue asked.
"We're waiting on Erika to free the city. I have no idea how she'll do it, but she said she will."
"Okay. What do you want to do right now though?"
"I can send you a copy of Flappy Pidgey," I offered.
"Alright."
We pretty much goofed off for a couple of hours. On a skyscraper. That's why I love my life.
While Omni was levitating me off the edge, an announcement came on the PA system.
"Greetings citizens of Celadon City. I am Erika. Some of you know me as a teacher at Celadon University, but that is only one of my jobs. The other, which I was supposed to keep secret, until recently, is the executive, or overseer of this town. Now some of you may have noticed 4 well known individuals around are Red, Blue, Michael, and Leaf, the members of Poké Underground. If you are wondering, they have come to, and did, liberate this city. Now, I would like to briefly ask Red to not hang off a tall building using a Pokémon's Psychic."
Omni put me back on the structure while Erika continued talking.
"Now, I would imagine that several of you have questions…"
She started explaining the stuff we already know or figured, like Pokéballs, Pokémon Centers, and similar things. We went down the building to look for the center. It didn't take that long once they raised the sign. We walked in, and rented two rooms. One for Leaf and I, and one for Michael and Blue.
First though, I wanted to look up the "Unovan Strike Force" Gold talked about.
Flinky: Okay, I had a feeling when I was writing it that it was rushed. I honestly hope it doesn't ruin the story. Anyways, good whenever-you are-reading-this!
