Flinky: Suprise! Early chapter update.
Red: You haven't posted on time for the past 5 chapters and now you literally wrote one in two days.
Flinky: There's actually a reason. I have a good idea on where the story is going from here on out. The past five chapters I have been making it up as I went along.
Red: I guess that's a good thing.
Flinky: Yea. Anyways, I finished re-writing chapter one and two.
Leaf: By re-writing, you mean doing the editing you should have done the first time around.
Flinky: Not true! I put in a fourth wall break in chapter two.
Blue: Because that changes the entire chapter.
Flinky: Shut up. Now revirews.
Flinky: This time, only one from Disney Writer. I believe that I've stated that they mainly cowboy-camp (not that exact wording), sleep in a tent, or in a Pokemon Center.
Red: And on to the story.

Saffron Tower. Time to take it down. Blue and Leaf go up first. I'm not sure if Blue knows it, but they both have the same job, just going about it differently. When Blue floods it, most people will get out. Leaf is just making sure everyone is out.
As I was walking around, Omni came out.
"Just got some news from the council, and you're involved. You should come."
"Waht? We're about to do something."
"Dialga can make a time warp. You'll be back within 10 minutes of time here."
"Uhh… Okay."
There was a pink flash, and I was in the Hall of Origin.
Blue's POV
"Okay, Kadabra, can you take me to the top of the tower?"
"Kadabra!"
After the flash, I was on top.
"Thanks, now, return. Now, Manaphy and Wartortle, go!"
My Pokémon came out.
"Okay, I want you to flood the tower. Put in as much water as you can."
"Wart!"
"Mana!"
I just watched them work. You know, I've been thinking. I don't really use Manaphy that much, or at least, not as much as Red uses Mew.
"Come on Blue," I thought to myself. "You never did anything like Red before, why start now?"
I can't beat him by following him. Everything he does is unique to him, from his ideas to his Pokémon, no one's done it. I need to train my way if I can catch up.
I was so distracted by my thoughts that I didn't notice the tower bursting with water.
"Good job guys. Return."
Alright. Leaf's turn.
Leaf's POV
Looks like Blue's done. Now, I have to dig through the tower. I'll need Ditto to turn into a water type so we can pick up any people left inside. I took out the oxygenator Michael gave me. He said something about it converting carbon dioxide to oxygen.
I was wearing a mix between a swimsuit and my normal outfit. I had Ditto morph into Starmie, and opened the door. Water came out instantly.
As I entered, I noticed a big crowd gathering outside the tower. Good for us. Part of Red's plan was that everyone pay attention to Team Rocket's defeat.
Once I was inside, I had Ditto carry me through the building. He used bubble to give air to the people still in and had them grab on. We picked up four people (two of which were grunts) before making out of the top floor.
Blue was waiting there with Kadabra, taking us all down. I made sure that the grunts didn't go anywhere. Michael's up.
Michael's POV
Leaf gave me the signal. Time to go. I sent out all of my Pokémon, while about 300 spectators were watching. I also noticed that Red was nowhere to be seen. As long as he's here for the Executive.
"Okay guys, use your strongest attack on the building base!"
Everyone focused their attacks on one point. It didn't do much damage the first time, but we kept going on. Eventually, there were signs of major damage.
"One last time! Finish it!"
On the last attack, the entire building collapsed.
"Yea!" I hi-fived Blue and Leaf.
"I wouldn't be too sure of your victory yet."
We turned around and saw a woman with blue hair and greenish bracelets.
"Where did you come from?" I asked.
"I am Sabrina, the all powerful psychic, and Executive of this city. Now, you must pay for what you've done."
She generated a pink ball of energy in her hand. The crowd was getting tense. Come on Red, where are you?
Red's POV
"You have got to be fucking kidding me. I try this hard to keep one out of the story, and you just dump it on me?"
"Sorry Red, but you have to have one."
Apparently, Arceus decided that now would be a perfect time to tell me that I have Aura-something.
"You're a Aura Guardian. It's how you've been able to see Shadow Pokémon."
Yea, thanks Omni. Anyways, I'm supposed to have a Lucario to help me train for something I will never use.
"Aura actually will help you. You don't need to rely on Pokémon or weapons to fight."
Still don't care. At least I get a new Pokémon.
I was in the hall of origin waiting for Arceus to start creating my new Lucario.
Arceus' ring started glowing, and a figure resembling a Lucario was forming. It was blue and black, with a cream white thing in his core. After about a minute, the glow was over, and a shiny Lucario stood in front of me.
We looked at each other, somewhat awkwardly.
"So, you're my master?"
I do not recognize that voice. I would imagine it's Lucario.
He closed his eyes, and his… whatever those things on the back of his head are rose up.
"Your aura is very strong, but incredibly rampant. I can see why you need training."
"I have said this numerous times. I don't give a fuck about aura training."
"I understand, but that much raw aura left uncontained could really hurt you in the future."
"It,s true," Omni said. "There have been stories of aura saturation, where when someone doesn't dispel their aura, their body overflows with it. It's very painful."
"So what? 50% chance I die before the year ends anyways."
"Sadly, that is a fair point," Arceus said. "However, you might want to know something. Being a aura guardian is inherited. Someone else in your family is also one."
"Great. Between my insane grandpa, mother who thinks Team Rocket is right, and dad who does who-knows-what, I have another family mystery. Great."
"Out of curiosity, what is your father's name?" Lucario asked.
"Riley Ketchum."
I could hear Lucario trying to hold in a laugh. "You really don't know?"
"Know what?"
"Your dad is not just a aura guardian, he is the strongest one of this generation. No wonder yours is so good."
Well, that ties up a lot of details about my dad. I need to talk to him when we go to Pallet.
"Alright. My dad is a aura guardian. Anything else to know before I go back down? The other guys are probably trying to fend of an executive right now."
"What city are you in?" Arceus asked.
"Saffron."
Now he laughed.
"This one will be interesting. I'll have to get the guys to watch it. Now, you can go."
"Wait, you watch me-"
I was cut off by Arceus teleporting away.
"Great. Anyways," I turned to Lucario. "You're my Pokémon. You may be teaching me about aura, but I will train you."
"Of course. I wish to get stronger as well."
"Okay. I'm going to catch you really quick…"
I pulled out a Pokéball and tossed it at him. It sucked him in, wobbled three times, and clicked.
"Alright." I sent him back out. "Now it's time for your nickname. Just wondering, what moves do you know?"
"I have Thunder Punch, Close Combat, Dragon Pulse, and, of course, Aura Sphere."
"Okay, doesn't give me much to go on… I would go with Blue but I already know two people named that… Maybe Rift? Has a mystic-ish feel to it, and with your aura…"
"I guess that would work. Rift the Lucario. I like the sound of it."
"Alright. Now, I have to go help out my friends."
"I understand."
"Rift, return."
I called him back.
"Okay Omni. Let's get to work."
There was a flash, and I was in front of a destroyed tower, with a girl shooting pink spheres out of her hands at my friends. Great.
"Hey… magic girl."
She turned around and looked at me.
"Hmm, a aura user. That will make this fun."
Well, at least I knew beforehand.
"So, are we going to have a battle, or street fight?"
"Neither. I am going to rip you apart limb by limb."
"Have fun with that," I responded.
She closed her eyes and a piece of debris from the tower started floating.
"Great…"
"Master," I heard Rift say in my head. "This is a psychic, who has a long rivalry with aura users. She will play dirty to make sure you're dead."
"Thank you for the great news."
I jumped out of the way of the rock, and started trying to close in on her.
"Not so fast," she said, butting up a wall of energy around her. I ran into it, knocking me back to the tower remains. I went behind cover ot rest up. My back hurts way too much to fight right now.. Rift came out of his ball.
"I don't think you can win without aura."
"So?"
"I was going to wait until our first session, but this seems like the time to do it."
"Do what?"
"I'm going to kickstart your aura. Right now, it's dormant, but once I start it, you will be able to use it."
"Okay, well, can you speed it up before magic lady kills me?"
"Right."
He put his paw up to my chest. It started to glow, and it spread into my chest, and then the rest of my body.
Then my usual strangeness kicked in.
The blue glow shifted to red. Then, I started feeling a sensation in my body. It was similar to what happens if you don't move a body part for a while, and it feels like static.
Meanwhile, Rift was also changing. My body's red glow went back into his paw, and through his body. His fur started changing colors too. Wherever it was blue, it turned into a dark red, similar to my outfit.
After a while, everything died down, and Rift looked at himself.
"I'm… red. But my species can't even be that color unless…" He looked at me in shock. "You have red aura."
"And, what does that mean, exactly?"
"Red aura is extremely rare. It's a form of aura that functions out of chaos, not control."
"Eng- err, Japanese please?"
"Okay. First off, blue aura. It's peaceful and still. If you give it a shape, it will stay in that shape. It's what moves like Aura Sphere or Bone Rush use. "
"And red aura?"
"Red aura is the opposite. It's pure chaos. It can't stay in a shape, and is difficult to control. It's much more powerful, and if you can manage to use it correctly, is the strongest aura out there."
"Okay. What happened to you though?" I asked. I want to know if I hurt Rift at all.
"It's what happens to the partner of a red aura user. My aura also becomes red, and my fur complements it."
" 's great. Now, can you tell me how to use it within the four remaining second we have before the girl catches us?"
"I have no idea about red aura. It should come out in battle though."
"Great. Rift, return!"
Time to face her.
I jumped out from behind my cover, greeted by magic girl herself.
"I do not know what you have been doing, but it will not help you now."
She started throwing more chunks of building at me.
Hall of Origin
"Come on Red! Use your aura already!" an excited Palkia yelled at the screen in front of him.
"Calm down. He has no idea and his teacher is equally clueless," Giratina said, annoyed.
"My money's on Sabrina," Deoxys said. "I don't see him being able to take on a Psychic right off the bat."
"Come on Sabrina," Darkrai said to himself. "Destroy the runt."
"Hey!" Cresselia yelled. "Red is not a runt! He represents hope in not only his own, but almost all resistances worldwide."
"I'm more concerned about his friends," Rayquaza said. "All they can really do is hide."
"Yea," Jirachi said. "But I would still want to be with them. Mew and Manaphy get to see the fights live."
"Do you really want to have a trainer?" Yveltal asked.
"Not really," Jirachi replied.
"Dialga!" Shaymin called. "Do you know the outcome already?"
"No. I didn't want to spoil it, so I didn't look," Dialga replied.
The many legendaries continued watching the fight.
Red's POV
Now I'm screwed. My back is to a wall and the person has rocks surrounding me.
"Goodbye Red."
They all launched. I covered my face instinctively, waiting for the pain, but it never came. The only thing I felt was energy coming out of my hands. When I looked up, all the rocks were dust.
"What!" the woman screamed.
I ran toward her again. She put up a similar barrier to before, but I was surrounded in a red glow, which broke through the shield. She started floating herself away, which, in response, I jumped much higher than I ever have in the past.
Okay. I'll admit. I was wrong about aura. It's fucking awesome.
I made it up to the girl. My fist looked like it was on fire with red energy.
"FALCON PUNCH!" I yelled, nailing the girl.
She was launched back to the ground, and I landed alongside her. I didn't feel anything though, despite the fact that I jumped and fell about 20 feet.
"F...F...Fuck you," I heard the girl say. My hand started glowing red again, but this time,I shot out a beam of energy at her. Her eyes glowed red, then she closed them.
I have no idea how I did anything in the past half-hour, but I think I knocked a Psychic Executive unconscious.
The crowd of about 500 spectators just stared, before they started clapping. Blue, Leaf, and Michael came up.
"People of Saffron!" I yelled. "This tyrant has oppressed you for far too long!"
The crowd said "Yea!" simultaneously.
"Now, we have come to liberate you from her regime!"
"Yea!"
"Saffron City is, from here on out... free from Team Rocket!"
There were plenty of cheers.
Team Rocket HQ
"They really took Saffron?" GIovanni asked.
"Yes sir," replied a messenger. "The leader took down Executive Sabrina in hand to hand combat."
"Sabrina? The psychic? How did that happen?"
"We believe Red Ketchum may be a aura user, which would give him the ability to take on such a powerful person."
"Arceus. First he's immune to brainwashing, then he's a leader of a resistance, and now he's aura?"
"That is true sir. I also regret to inform you that with the loss of Saffron, the resistance is now the dominant force in Kanto, possessing 5 cities, while four belong to us. Fuschia city belongs to neither. Additionally, Vaniville Town in Kalos and Nuvema Town in Unova were lost to groups 0016 and 0017, respectfully."
Giovanni clenched his head. This was giving him a massive headache.
"Okay. I want to revise spending. Take out twenty-percent of citizen food costs and replace it with military engineering."
"Sir, a cut like that will cause approximately 2,000 malnourished citizens."
"Do I look like I care?"
"Understood sir."
?
"So, the old man has gone crazy?"
"Yep. With a severe cut like that, the people may opt for a leader shift. I would suggest making our move soon."
"Let's wait. Those kids will make him go to further extremes, and we need the people's support if we wish to win over the country."
"Understood sir."
Red's POV
Time to rest up in the Pokémon Center. I had Azure and Rift meet the rest of my team, and they got along fairly well. Now, I have to explain aura to the others. I had Rift out in case their was something I didn't understand.
"Alright Red. What happened during the fight?" Leaf asked.
"Arceus told me today that I'm a Aura Guardian, and created Rift here,"
"Hello everyone."
"As my training partner."
"What's up with his red fur?" Michael asked.
"Red has, like it says in his name, red aura. It's very rare, and causes the Guardian's partner t also have red aura. That aura changed my fur color when it entered my body."
That was all of the major questions. We went outside and I jumped on the roof to show that I can do it, then went back inside. Rift and I were the last ones out. As I was about to walk in, he stopped me.
"Red, you need to know something."
"What is it?" I asked.
"There was another effect of gaining your red aura, and it's not as good."
"What is it?" I asked. It's bad enough when someone hurts my Pokémon (outside of battle), but I don't think I could forgive myself if I did it.
"As you likely know, aura is everyone's life force. Well, when my aura became red, it started to have similarities to yours. It's basically changing me."
"How does it change you?" I asked.
"My personality will slowly become more resemblant of yours. For instance, that will likely be the last time I say resemblant."
I laughed a little.
"But that is exactly what's happening. After about a week, our personalities and attitudes will be almost identical."
Wow.
"I'm sorry-"
"No need to be sorry. Red aura is pretty much a legend. Others of my kind will respect me greatly for having it. On top of that, I don't really mind being like you."
"How come?"
"You're always so laid back and relaxed, while I'm a lot more serious. Living like I do gets stressful. I wouldn't mind being a bit more arrogant, or joking around every once in a while, if it means being more relaxed."
"Okay then. If you're sure."
"I am."
"Alright then. On the plus side, we're going to become better friends."
"That's true."
With that, we went inside.
I exchanged my Pokémon and trained Azure and Rift before crashing for the night. We can decide what city to do tomorrow.
Flinky: I'm sorry. I'm sorry about including a Lucario and aura. It just seemed to fit with how Sabrina is a Psychic. On the upside, I think that my "red aura" concept is original. That being said, have a nice day.
