Flinky: Alright! I'm not entirely late on a chapter!

Red: You missed the "regular" update time by a day.

Flinky: That's why I said entirely. Now, normally, I would start reviews, but no one reviewed the last chapter. When I looked at the stats on this fic, the longer chapters typically have either less or no reviews. So, yea.

"So, we're going to take an island," Blue said. "How are we going to defeat the odds this time?"

"We swim there. On Pokémon," I said, simply.

"Of course. What else?" Blue said, rhetorically.

"Well, technically, if I could borrow someone else's Pokémon, we could fly," Michael said.

"Shh, logic is not something that exists in the Pokémon world," I intervened.

As we were about to set out, I was stopped by a familiar face.

"Guys! Wait up!"

We turned around and saw Spencer from the Patriots running to us.

"You guys are going for Cinnabar next, right?"

"Yea, why?"

"We may be able to get you an easy ride."

"How so?"

"The S.S. Anne is setting out for Fuchsia City to organize terms for them to join with the other Non-Rocket cities. They have loads of extra seats, and they decided to let the Patriots come. So you guys can come with us."

"That would make things much easier."

"Then come with me."

Spencer led us to the dock where the S.S. Anne was being held. I think we destroyed a part of it last time we were here. Probably shouldn't bring that up now though.

As we were going onto the ship, I noticed a truck near the entrance gate.

"What's that for?" I asked.

"Honestly, we have no idea," Spencer admitted. "The truck doesn't move at all. The wheels physically don't turn. It's just kinda… there."

"Oh! Oh! I know!" Omni said. It seemed like it was to everyone, Spencer included.

"That's my Mew. She does that from time to time."

"No problem. Why is it there though?"

"Underneath it was my home while I stayed on the Kanto mainland. I lived there until I let Red catch me."

"Well…" Spencer said. "I wonder if a Pokémon could use Surf on it to move it."

Was Spencer the guy that made the fourth wall breaks last chapter? No, it was some other person. Maybe I'll find him on the boat ride.

"I think Flash would be more effective," Michael said, jokingly.

"I'm more thinking Rock Smash," Leaf said.

We finished boarding the boat. On board was the newly-elected mayor (I have no idea how the Patriots got one in under 4 hours), the majority of the Patriots, and some police-people.

I walked around the boat, talking to various Patriots. Eventually I got bored, so I just went back to our room.

I saw Michael sitting at the desk.

"Hey."

He looked at me. "Hey Red."

"How is PASS coming along?"

"Bill's been having some issues with production, so it was a bit behind, but he got the prototype running today. We'll have it by tomorrow."

"Great."

I threw myself on the bed. A part of me wanted the ride to be for longer so I could actually spend the night here, but we have to get to Cinnabar.

As I was thinking, Leaf walked in.

"Finally a safe area. The Patriots may be nice, but they really need to actually meet more women."

"Is it really a problem?" I asked. "You have six Pokémon who'll defend you with their life, two friends with six more Pokémon each, and a boyfriend who has both strong Pokémon and Aura magic."

"Yea, that's true."

No one talked for a while. As if on cue, Blue entered.

"Hey, I was looking for you guys."

"Any particular reason?"

"I wanted to escape the crowd. Half of these people think we're gods." Leaf looked at him. "Or goddesses," he added, quickly.

We rested for a while. This is something that we normally don't get to do.

"Can you believe it?" Leaf said.

"Believe what?" I asked.

"Well, look at how far we've gone. We used to be a group of ten kids who his underground. We added in Red and Blue, and all hell broke loose. We took down Pewter City, and sent Team Rocket into a decline. They even tried to brainwash us. Twice for Red and I."

Let's see, I remember the facility place that we broke out of with the eon dragons, and I think the other time she was referencing was Mewtwo. I was somewhat unconscious and/or possessed during that though, so I wouldn't remember very well.

"Of course, that failed miserably," Leaf continued. "Team Rocket barely controls any cities now. In Kanto, their homeland, they only have Cinnabar, Pallet, and Viridian. And one of those won't be controlled for much longer."

"Damn right," I said. "I do wonder something though. A while ago, they made a move to re-capture Pewter, and it failed. They haven't made any moves like that since then."

"Makes me wonder…" Michael said.

Giovanni's POV

"Okay. We have the final member undergoing her training?"

"Yes sir. We did have to attempt a new form of brainwashing on her, seeing as how we lost Mewtwo. However, if this form works, she won't switch sides because of a Pokémon battle."

"And the other members?"

"They are still under the effects of Mewtwo, as they joined the team prior to the event."

"Tell me again who is in this team."

"Of course. Green, not to be confused with Leaf Green who is in Poké Underground; Yellow, who has supernatural abilities to heal Pokémon; Crystal, who was formerly known as Kris; and Z… wait…"

"What is it?"

"One of the people on the recruitment list isn't showing up on the finalized list."

"What does that mean?"

"It means that he wasn't found."

"So?"

"He could not have been recruited."

Giovanni grabbed his forehead.

"What is his name?"

"Zach, or for our purposes, we call him Z."

"Maybe… Substitute Red in."

"You mean, as in the Red?"

"He's not doing us much good unless he's out there in the field."

"Well, yes, but if he loses a battle, then-"

"Is there anyone who is stronger than him?"

"Well, no, but Fire Red may-"

"I don't want to hear it. I trust that Red can handle him."

"Okay, I'll send the orders for the transfer."

Giovanni's assistant left the room.

"Finally. We can end Poké Underground," He said to himself.

?'s POV

"What are you doing to me?" I screamed.

"You will be converted to the glory of Team Rocket," an announcer said, calmly.

"No! I don't want to!"

"It will be over soon."

The room I was trapped in started to swirl. I looked round, pleading that I could get out of it. I know they're trying to brainwash me, but how do I stop it? Maybe I should try keeping track of who I am.

I am Yellow, a Pokémon lover. When a Pokémon gets hurt I laugh… NO! It's happening!

I could barely feel it when I slipped into unconsciousness.

"Agent Yellow, please wake up. You have to meet the rest of your team for your assignment."

I slowly got up. I knew this building. It was Team Rocket's HQ, or, better put, my home. I love this place, and Team Rocket.

"Yes sir. May I ask where they are?"

"To the back of the hall and to the left."

"Thank you."

I set out to meet my team. I can't wait to crush Poké Underground. They won't know what hit them.

I made it into a room where three others were waiting. I recognized one as Red, the former leader of Poké Underground, but turned into a true hero. The other two are not familiar.

"Greetings."

We all immediately stiffened up, as we all knew that voice. Lord Giovanni!

"Hello sir!" we all said in unison.

"At ease," he said. "Now, through a lucky streak, the Poké Underground resistance has gone on for more than anticipated. As a result, I chose the four of you to deal with these people. Who knows what sick things they're planning right now…"

Red's POV

"Pass to me!" I yelled.

Blue threw me the ball. I got past the other side's defense, and ran up to the basket. With a non-aura jump, I was able to slam dunk the ball.

"Nice one," Blue said, hi-fiving me.

"That was just luck," Spencer said.

"We'll see," I said, getting in position.

Yellow's POV

"Yes, their minds must be truly despicable," Lord Giovanni continued. "In any case, I want you four to hunt them down and kill them."

I can't wait to bash their heads in. It will be so much fun.

"We have reason to believe they will be in Cinnabar soon. I would advise you prepare. You are allocated full use of the Rocket arsenal. Red is the leader in this operation."

"Yes sir!"

Once Lord Giovanni left, we began our planning. They are going down.

Red's POV

After the Patriots vs Poké Underground basketball game (which we won, might I add), the boat pulled up to Fuschia City. Hopefully I won't have to deal with Trump again.

We made sure to leave the city as soon as possible. Let the Patriot negotiators deal with them, we need to get to Cinnabar.

"Okay, Leaf has Ditto, I have Azure, Blue has Wartortle-"

"He's actually a Blastoise now," Blue corrected.

"When did he evolve?" I asked.

"I did some training after we finished our planning session with the Patriots."

"Well, good for you. Anyways, Michael, you have…"

"Azumarill," he said.

"Right."

Michael pulled out the Kanto Map.

"It's 3:00 and forty miles to the Seafoam Islands," he said. "If our Pokémon hurry, we can make it before sundown. Otherwise, we should camp out here."

"Give you Pokémon X-speed if you need to, but I am not spending the night here," Leaf said.

"I honestly hate Fuchsia City," Blue said.

"Me too," Michael agreed.

"Then it's settled. Let's head out."

We walked for ten minutes to the beach.

"Alright. This part of the ocean is very convenient. There are rocks lining the path so we can't go too far off course," Michael said. "Just make sure you're going forward."

"Got it."

We got on our Pokémon and began the swim/surf to the Seafoam Islands.

It got boring fast.

"So, what are the Seafoam Islands?" Leaf asked.

"They are a group of islands that originally started as an iceberg," Michael began. "It froze to the bottom of the sea, and stuck there. Rock began piling up on it, and it became sturdy enough to walk on."

"It's rumored that the ice was originally formed by Articuno," Blue added.

"No shit," I said. "It's the only ice-type legendary in this area."

"It's true. Articuno wouldn't shut up about it, and kept on rubbing it into Groudon and Kyogre's face that she made land without either of their permission."

"Well, there goes any form of debating," Blue mumbled.

I checked my Pokégear, and it was only 4 PM. Assuming everyone keeps up this speed, it's still another couple hours. Ugh.

"If I may interrupt."

Rift popped out of his ball, somewhat irritating Azure.

"I can sense that you're bored, and I may have a fix."

"What's that?" I asked.

Without saying anything, Rift jumped off Azure. I was about to tell her to turn around, but a red blur was rushing up to us. Not surprisingly, it was Rift, running on water.

"I wasn't sure it would work, but it did."

"Okay, what are you doing?"

"Abusing red aura."

"But how?"

"I put energy around and into my legs. It makes it so if I run fast enough, I won't sink.

"My turn."

I sparked up my aura and forced it into my legs. Right afterward, I jumped off Azure, and sprinted.

Sprinting is a lot easier with aura.

I was running on the water. Not to mention at 20 miles an hour.

As I was running, a blast of aura almost hit me.

I looked at Rift, who fired it.

"It's on. Azure, catch us if one of us stops running."

She nodded.

I made a aura shield and started spinning it. Once it was traveling fast enough, I sent it away from my body and at Rift.

He sped up and dodged it.

"Better idea," I said to myself.

I made another full-body aura shield, at the expense of some of the aura in my legs. if what I had in mind worked, that wouldn't be necessary anyways.

I made sure the shield was waterproof and dived underwater. I was now in an airtight bubble.

I used aura to propel my impromptu submarine forward to catch up to Rift. Once I was under him, I shot up.

It got him by surprise, and he lost his footing. He started to stumble before falling. Almost immediately, Azure caught him.

I jumped off the water and back onto Azure.

"Well, that happened."

"Not only that, you were able to use your aura, so that counts as your training for the day."

"Great. Well, hope you don't mind I give Azure a break."

"Not at all."

I returned Rift to his ball.

"Red, that was probably the best use of aura you've done so far," Blue commented.

"So the time when I stopped bullets from hitting me doesn't count?" I asked.

"Well, that was useful, but not that cool."

"That's fair."

It says a lot about my life that becoming a human torpedo ranks higher than almost dying.

We continued swimming onward. I did a couple other aura stunts, but none as big as the me vs Rift thing.

We didn't do much else for the rest of the ride.

"I see it!" Michael yelled.

"That looks about right," I said.

Coming up were two islands, both with an icy look. Why did I think it would be a good idea to camp out here?

We arrived at the shore, where we returned our Pokémon.

"I think over there is a good campsite," Leaf said, indicating a raised area of land.

We set up tents this time in case it rained or snowed.

"You know, we could explore it tomorrow," Blue suggested.

"What purpose would that give?" I asked.

"Unless you want to climb the mountain to get around the island, we'll have to go through," Michael said.

"Alright. Not tonight though."

"We know. We're all as tired as you."

After eating, we crashed.

Yellow's POV

"So, they're not going through Pallet down first?" Green asked.

"Yea," a guard answered. "We weren't expecting them to go through the Seafoam Islands."

"Why didn't you think so?" Crystal asked.

"The Seafoam Islands have rugged and difficult to navigate terrain," The guard answered. "It's a challenge enough to even reach the islands."

"Okay. Dismissed," Red ordered, causing the grunt to leave. "Now, our first ambush in Pallet Town failed because of the route they were taking. This time, we'll intercept them at Cinnabar Island."

I still couldn't believe that such a lowly group of people like 0013 (the proper name for Poké Underground) could defy our predictions. However, we must march on.

As we were walking through the halls, I noticed a flash of yellow at the window. i examined it, but found no one.

Gold's POV

Shit, that was close. One of the girls almost saw me, but I was able to hide in time. But there's another issue.

I called Red on my Poké Gear.

"Hello?" he said.

"Hey Red, it's Gold, and I have major news."

"Ugh, we were just about to sleep. What's up?"

"Giovanni has created a team to stop you guys."

"What do you mean?"

"He took Red, Kris, and two people I don't know, and they are working to get rid of you. Also, one sorta looks like Leaf."

"Great. Do you know anything about them?"

"They assumed you were going to go to Cinnabar through Pallet Town, so they set up an ambush there. They found out later that you're at the Seafoam Islands."

"Alright. How strong are they?"

"Like I said. Two unrecognizable faces along with Kris and Red. Red alone can take on just about everyone."

"Alright, We'll keep that in mind. Thanks."

"No problem."

Red ended the call. As I was about to leave the Rocket facility, I heard someone yell "Freeze!"

I turned around and saw three grunts with rifles aimed at me. I put my hands up.

"You're coming with us."

All three of them walked in front of me. Idiots. I sent out Feraligatr's Pokéball.

"Hydro Pump!"

They turned around and were greeted by a 10,000 PSI blast of water.

"Xatu, let's get outta here."

My Xatu teleported us to Pewter City, since it was the closest free city.

"Well, where to next… Maybe I could talk to the Kalos resistance. We've never made contact yet."

Flinky: Well, a new character: Yellow. Yes, she was modeled after the character in the manga. On another note, I've never actually read any of the manga. I just do constant Bulbapedia searches. Have a nice whatever.
