Flinky: Okay, I'm just going to go through the list on this one. Late chapter on a cliffhanger because of Writer's Block. 1 review.

Flinky: DisneyWriter. All I focused on was making Yellow as sadistic and loyal to Team Rocket as possible. It probably was a bit generic in retrospect though.

Red: So, did anyone check the word count today?

Leaf: Of course.

Michael: Who here hasn't?

Blue: Pretty big milestone for the story.

Flinky: Yep. 100,000 words. Well, back to work.

Blue's POV

Damn. I ran out the door, being chased by the others.

"Guys!" I yelled in my earpiece. "There are four people chasing me right now. It includes older Red and Lyra."

"I'll get you out of there, hold on a sec," Leaf responded.

Soon enough, her Articuno flew by. It picked me up and dropped me off a couple miles from the group of Rockets.

"So, what to do now?" I asked.

Fire Red's POV

There is a group of four people here, trying to kill us, using Pokémon. Does this count as irony or karma?

"Okay. Keep going through with the plan. I'll go to the executive, I want everyone else to deal with the posers," I commanded.

"Alright!" Everyone said.

I ran away from the tower and to the address where the executive was, according to Blue.

It was a small house, with a lot of grunts around it. Nothing that I can't handle though.

This time, I decided to try a new type of aura attack. I pulsed a lot of energy into my hands, to the point of overflowing it, creating a stream of red aura behind them. The end result was a whip of aura.

"AIR SLASH!"

I jumped up and smashed the whip down on a grunt. He was out in an instant.

"BACK SLASH!"

I got two more in one hit. By that point, they took out knives and/or Pokéballs.

I ran past them all and straight to the door. I punched a hole in it (my fists are a lot stronger with aura) and opened it from the inside. Once I was in, I slammed it and had Spark stay on guard.

"Fire Red, huh?" the executive asked.

"Damn right."

"I was hoping you would show up."

That phrase never ends well. At least in movies. I don't think that a Rocket has said that to me yet. Anyways, I had my hand on Ignite's Pokéball.

"Oh, relax. I don't have a trap or anything."

That did not comfort me.

"I see. Do what you like. In any case, I was hoping you could come so you could help me out."

"Help you out? Why would I help an executive?"

"I want to get Team Rocket off this island. And for the record, my name is Blaine"

Wait, what? "What, why, and how?" I asked.

"A while ago, I saw something. I believe you remember your confrontation with Mewtwo?"

Ironically, I don't. At least not past Blacklight's temporary death.

"Sure," I said, deciding to just go with it.

"Team Rocket made constant propaganda about what you did that day. Headlines like 'Pokémon Trainers are Hypocrites', 'Watch This Blatant Abuse of Pokémon', and 'Red is the Devil'."

"That last one isn't very new," I muttered.

"No matter. I saw how Team Rocket was saying how bad you are, when we've done much worse. That's when I called Dr. Fuji."

"What does my grandfather have to do with this?"

"He's your grandfather? I should have figured."

"Answer my question."

"Of course. Your grandfather and I were good friends for a long time. Then, Team Rocket came. We had very different opinions on them. He thought they abused Pokémon while I believed they helped them."

"Hold on. Between shadows, genetic experimentation, and brainwashing, you thought Team Rocket helped?"

"My definition of 'helped' was very distorted at the time. In any case, we haven't talked until I decided to switch sides."

"What did he say?"

"I asked him about how to fix my mistakes. He said the best way to do that is to assist you."

"Any particular reason?"

"You have a lot of power. People would much rather listen to you than me."

"So, he said to be a lazy-ass and wait so I can do the work?"

"When you put it that way, yes."

Alright. The executive wants to kick them out. What to do about it though…

"What can you tell me about the fakers?" I asked.

"Are you referring to the group of Red, Crystal, Green, and Yellow?"

"Yea, whatever. What do you know about them?"

"Giovanni handpicked them to kill your team. He gathered the strongest trainers he could find without putting other cities at risk with the sole purpose of ending you."

"That's fun."

Right after I said that, one of the grunts broke through.

"Spark, toast him!"

He was fried, but I have a feeling that more will come soon.

"Gotta go. Spark, return!"

Instead of taking the boring exit through the regular, plain old door, I blew a hole in the wall, irritating Blaine.

I ran out the building and into the streets. So, this is the point where we drop the plan and improvise. It's worked pretty well for the past couple cities.

Leaf's POV

According to Fire Red, we're dropping the plan. Michael owes me five dollars.

I ran up the tower's stairs, causing a group of grunts to follow me. When I reached the top, I backed up to the edge. Dramatically, I fell off back first.

Soon after, Articuno picked me up. Having a legendary is awesome.

I was flying around and attacking stuff. It is a lot of fun, but we can't do it forever.

"Red, anything I should do?"

"Hold on…" I heard the sound of an explosion. "Okay. I was thinking we take on their military by force. Not sure what to about the fakers though…"

"Red, you should take them," I said. "We can deal with the grunts, but you're the only who can actually fight those guys off."

"Regretfully, I second that," Blue said.

"Alright then. Michael, you got that?"

"Yep. I'm already working on jamming signals to their aircraft."

"Good."

Articuno and I took down the air units while waiting for Blue to come back. Now I'm destroying them with a purpose.

Fire Red's POV

Where are they… ah. I saw Yellow (I'm guessing, seeing as how he's wearing yellow and has a Pokéball out).

"Go, Spark!"

My Pikachu came out, alerting Yellow of where I am.

"So, you finally decided to show your face." That voice is really high for a guy- ohh. She's a girl. Whatever. My smart-ass comments come first.

"Since when was I hiding it?"

"Anyone who opposes the great Team Rocket would do so."

"Ah, brainwashed. I thought they couldn't do that anymore…"

"I was't brainwashed." She said that with emphasis. "I simply saw the light."

Arceus, not this bullshit again.

"Do you want to battle or fight me? I can do both."

"I'll destroy both you and your Pokémon when I'm done."

"Uh-huh. Send out your Pokémon already."

"Chuchu, show who's the better Pikachu!"

She also sent out a Pikachu. This will be a long battle.

"This is how a Pokémon should be," she explained. "ChuChu here was modified to be the strongest it can be."

"So, you experimented on it," I summarized.

"All for the glory of Team Rocket."

I looked at Spark. He was pissed.

"Okay. When has this EVER worked out for you?" I asked her. "Spark can't take a hit, I'm still not sure what you did with Blade but I'm sure it was something, and Mewtwo, which was supposed to be your trump card, is now giving us information and helping us."

"Grr… It will work this time!"

"If you say so…"

"Chuchu, Thunder!"

"Dodge Spark, then Quick Attack!"

Let's just give a hypothetical, and say I was the leader of Team Rocket. It would be a lot more helpful to educate the grunts on their most wanted criminal, so they know, say "Oh yea, that kid's Pikachu is unnaturally fast, so I shouldn't use the move that almost never hits in the first place". Just an idea though.

Needless to say, Thunder missed while Quick Attack hit, but it didn't do much damage.

"You can't possibly beat me like-"

"Thunderbolt."

That attack hit much faster, still not doing much damage. I need to teach Spark more moves.

"Of course, scum like you would try such a cheap tactic."

"Says the person who is using experimented Pokémon."

"That is how Pokémon are meant to be!"

"Spark, dish out as much damage as possible. This will be a long battle."

It went down to trade-offs between Thunders and Thunderbolts. It looked like I was going to win, then, something happened. It started raining. Fuck you Kyogre.

"Now! You can't miss!"

"Spark, one last Thunderbolt as hard as you can!"

The attacks met, but only for a second. Chuchu easily overpowered Spark and hit him, knocking him out.

"What did I tell you? Experimented Pokémon are always better."

"Spark was experimented on," I pointed out. "The reason I lost is because you guys made him hit harder at the expense of taking more damage per hit."

She didn't say anything to that.

"Okay. Storm, go!" I yelled, breaking the silence

My Pidgeot appeared in front of me.

"Now you're trying to take on an Electric-type, in the rain, with a Flying-type? You are a horrible trainer."

"I believe in my Pokémon, yada yada yada, Hurricane."

Storm used her new move, which destroyed Yellow's Chuchu.

"How! HOW! I DEMAND TO KNOW HOW YOU DID THAT!"

"Simple matter of strength. It's a final form Pokémon vs a relatively weak one. Not to mention that Pidgeot is one of the fastest Pokémon, ever."

"You must have cheated…"

She almost reminds me of Blue.

"Guys, I need backup," I heard her say. "I have Fire here, but he's stronger than expected."

"Fuck you," I said, simply.

Blue's POV

A quick lesson for Team Rocket. Just because a target has retreated doesn't mean he's out. I was on my way back to the tower to help out Leaf when I saw a car with Red, Lyra, and the other girl. I guess I could help Fire a little bit.

"Kadabra, lift up the car's back wheels," I said, somewhat quietly.

With the wheels somewhat elevated, the car stopped moving, causing Lyra to get out.

"Blastioise, launch her away."

Blastoise used Hydro Pump on her, sending her well off the island.

"Crystal, what happened?" Red asked. Can't let him find me. I ran away from the car before anyone could see me.

"Red, I…"

Fire Red's POV

"Really? Hold on a sec- Storm, use Wing Attack! Okay, so you took down Lyra?"

I was currently talking to Blue and battling Yellow's Butterfree, named Kitty.

You know, once she's freed from Team Rocket, I may invite her to the resistance. I really need someone lese who nicknames their Pokémon. It's starting to look weird since I'm the only one who does it.

"Sorta. She's somewhere in the ocean right now."

"How did you do that- Dodge it, then counter with Hurricane!"

"Blastoise used Hydro Pump on her."

"Is that even possible for that much force?"

"Yes, actually. A Blastioise can shoot out, let's see… nozzle is 3.78 inches… About 15 million PSI. It's kinda miracle it's hose can hold that."

"Why do you know this?"

"Blastioise can cut steel with it's water, so with a nozzle of 4 inches, it has to have a huge PSI."

"That doesn't change my- Fly up, then come down with Wing Attack- anything."

"So, how's your battle?"

"Pretty easy. She's falling for all my strategies."

"I heard that!" Yellow yelled. Whatever.

"Of course. Listen Red and the other girl-"

"Her name is Green," I corrected.

"Right, Green and Red will be there in about 10 minutes. You should try to finish your battle soon."

"It's almost over anyways."

"Great."

I finished off the battle with Yellow. Her massive ego (which says a lot, coming from me) made it easy to take her down.

"Well, that was fun. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to make sure you're friends get off this island," I said to her.

"You're not done with me yet," she said, pulling out a gun.

Wait, shouldn't she be freed by now? Unless she's not brainwashed, which I doubt.

She pointed the gun at me. I need to work on my priorities. I cast a aura shield before she could shoot me.

"Oh, a aura user? This may be more fun."

She threw the gun away and turned to a nearby car. She turned to nearby car. The wheel came off

She noticed my expression.

"No, I'm not a psychic. I have the power of Viridian Forest, and will use it to-"

"Aura Beam!"

She dodged, but was pretty pissed.

"How dare you-"

"Shut up and fight."

Wrong time to say that. She threw the car wheel at me, forcing me to make another shield. The car bounced off.

"Yea, can you actually do anything apart from telekinesis? I mean, I can stab, punch, and explode you at the same time."

"Of course I can do more. Turn around if you don't believe me."

I did, and saw her Pikachu behind me, without a scratch. She pulled a me on me.

"Healer, huh? In that case, Explosion Jump!"

I launched an explosion ball of explosiveness (yes, that was intentional) at my feet and let it launch me in the air. It launched me into the air, where I fired another Aura Beam at Yellow.

She picked up the wheel she threw at me earlier and used as a shield, which didn't work very well. The beam forced it back and into Yellow, hurting her a bit.

"Cheap bastard… Chuchu, kill him!"

"Driver, make sure I don't get killed!"

Driver came out and started rushing toward Chuchu, absorbing all the attacks.

Meanwhile, I need to figure out how to take down Yellow. My last hit only worked because she underestimated me, but she won't do that again (I think, she isn't really that good of a battler). Then, I looked at Driver.

I've gotten so strong that I've forgotten our biggest advantage.

"Ignite, take her down!"

My Charizard appeared and came down on Yellow.

"Everyone, protect me!" she yelled, sending out all her Pokémon.

"Azure, I'll need your help to!" I called. "Use Surf!"

She realized what that meant. In one move, Azure took down her Butterfree, Golem, Dodrio, and God (Omastar); Leaving her with Pikachu and Raticate.

"You must be cheating!" she accused. I think this is the longest I've dealt with a brainwashed Rocket.

"Honestly, I'm sick of your shit. Azure, deal with Raticate; Driver, knock out Pikachu; Ignite, send Yellow out."

All three of my Pokémon attacked at once. Yellow and her team was sent flying, well off the island.

"Okay, Yellow is down," I said in my earpiece.

"Two more," Leaf responded.

"One more," Michael corrected. "Someone may have had a helicopter crash into Red's car."

"Damn, you're good," Blue said.

"Well, I'm here for a reas-"

"Of course, while you were at your computer, I dealt with Green by tackling her with my actual hands," Blue bragged.

"Yea, but did you take down the strongest?" Michael asked, rhetorically.

"I'm sorry, but who actually fought someone who both had Pokémon and psychic-ish things?" I asked, shutting everyone else up. "That's what I thought. Anyways, status on their military?"

"Most of their aircraft are unusable," Michael reported. The ones that are still receiving signals are frozen."

"I did that," Leaf siad.

"Blue? Anything to say?"

"Well, grunts are being a pain. They're not retreating like normal. They also put the homes on lockdown, so we're not gaining much publicity."

"Okay. Michael? Can you fix that?" I asked.

"Already working on it."

"Okay. I think that that hard part is done."

Once Michael got the doors to the people's house open, they started flooding the streets. I flew up the tower so I could speak to the masses.

"People of Cinnabar!" I yelled into a microphone. "I am Fire Red, who you either don't know or hate."

Judging by the crowd's boos, I think it's the later.

"Okay, have any of you heard news from anyone other than Team Rocket?"

No one in the crowds said anything loud.

"Yea, that's what I thought. Anyways, I am here to say that you are free. The days of being forced into a job or denial of basic freedoms are over. Most importantly, you can meet Pokémon again."

I sent out Ignite and he stood next to me.

"Pokémon are magnificent creatures, capable of many great things." Damn, this is getting corny. Whatever. "They are not pets, but rather partners, friends. Watch this!"

I jumped off the building. Ignite flew out and caught me a couple meters before I would have landed. Honestly though, even if Ignite didn't catch me, I could have used aura to survive.

"That is just one example of the bond that we share. And do you know what Team Rocket wants? To stop that bond. That bond is a threat to them, and they can't have a threat, now can they? That's why they ban it, and why we work to fix it."

The crowd was starting to get mixed feelings, but no overwhelming support yet.

"Plan B it is. Ignite, Spark, Azure, make some fireworks."

Plan B is just fancy, organized explosions. The yellow, red, and blue made some interesting effects. If the crowd was uncertain before, they were pumped now.

After opening the Pokémon Center and Poké Mart, we went back to our camp behind the volcano.

"Well guys, that was fun," I said.

"Hell yea," Blue said. "Only three more cities. Then we're done!"

"Can't wait," Leaf said.

"Next one is Pallet," Michael added. "Isn't that where you and Blue are from?" he asked, turning to me.

"Yep," I responded. "Blue has to deal with his crazy grandpa, and I have to deal with my crazy mom, and possibly my dad trying to make me join the Aura Guardian cult."

We kept talking until it was time to sleep. Team Rocket's going down.

Omni's POV

Once Red, was asleep, I left to go to the council. I wanted to ask them some things.

Me, Leaf, Blue, and Michael were working on surprising Red for his birthday, but some of the things we had in mind needed approval.

Once we arrived at the Hall of Origin, we met up with Arceus.

"Greetings Mew. I trust you are doing well?"

"Yep!" I said. "Red just took down another city."

"We saw. Can you tell him to keep his friends together? It makes it easier to watch up here."

"I will when I get the chance. Anyways, I have a list of things that I need permission for."

I gave him a list of things that a legendary can't do without Arceus' permission.

"Any particular reason?" He asked, while reading through he list.

"Yep. Red's birthday is tomorrow, and we want it to be epic."

"You are aware that you will also need the clearance of Dialga, Palkia, Cresselia, and Ho-oh?"

"Yea, I already asked them."

"Very well. Mew, I nearby grant you rights to preform Class 3 Tier A actions."

"Yay!"

Flinky: And another chapter down. Next one will be about Red's birthday celebration, so it's not going to be very serious (not that this ever was). Sorry for the long wait on this one. Have a good night (assuming you read this when I upload it).
