Flinky: Well, here it is. The two-part finale. I bet everyone has been constantly refreshing the page for this story, jst hoping for an update. Well, you will no longer have to wait. For here I present the end. I honestly don't know why you've decided to get this far into the story, but here's the end. Also, I'm not going to put the Red's Pokémon thing here, because really, it doesn't change much.

We watched the nuke go down on the city. We managed to get Poké Underground out. I have no idea how many others are in there. Gold said that they got all the civilians out, but there could have been a mistake. Not to mention members of Team Plasma or Aqua.

"Who did this?" Gold asked, as we looked out to the destroyed city. There was literally nothing left. It was vaporized.

"I don't know, but I hope Arceus has mercy on the Pokémon killed today," N said.

"There were just as many humans killed too," Riley pointed out. "It's a tragic day."

I looked at my team. Everyone was fairly sad. Okay, I have to do this.

"Alright bitches! It's motivation time!" I yelled. Everyone looked at me. "Yea, today was shit. Who cares? There was nothing we could have done. Now, let's get our asses off the ground and start fighting again! Team Rocket is weak. They're fragmented. We're not."

"Red, now's not the time," May said, softly. "Maybe we should call it off today."

"She's right Red," Ethan commented. "Whoever did that, they probably have more. And they're obviously willing to use it."

"I'm done," Silver said, firmly. "Sure I hate Team Rocket, but this… this is far worse. If getting rid of Team Rocket means more attacks like this, then I can't do it."

Silver walked away from the group.

"I'm with him," Ethan said, leaving. Others began to get up to follow them.

"Hold it you guys," Gold said. "We've come this far, we're so close to the end, and you're just giving up? I'm the only person here who's been here since day one. We've lost the professors, Red, Kris, several Pokémon, and you just want to end it? Do you really think we've done all this just to give up?"

"Just look out there," Silver interrupted. "It's a nuclear wasteland. And that never would have happened if we didn't start this mess."

"We don't know who did it," Michael pointed out. "For all we know, it could have been a last-ditch effort by Team Rocket."

"Regardless, they never would've used it if we didn't exist."

"Look back in history," Blue said. "Revolts happen all the time. If we didn't do what we did when we did, then Team Rocket would have much more advanced technology than a nuclear bomb."

"But we made them use it," Ethan pointed out.

"This argument is running in circles," May said. "We have to make a decision. Do we keep the pressure up and invade Indigo, or back out."

"Maybe a vote?" Wally suggested.

"Okay," I said. "All those who want to pull out…" I giggled a bit. Leaf rolled her eyes. "Raise your hand."

Silver, Ethan, Lyra, May, Brendan, Wes, Yellow, Ruby, and Dawn raised their hands. Nine.

"And those who want to stay in?"

Gold, Wally, Leaf, Michael, Blue, Lucas, Barry, Sapphire, and Zach raised their hands. Nine.

"Well, that's a tie," I said.

"Doesn't your vote count?" Leaf asked.

"Oh yea. Then I say…" I paused for dramatic effect. "We keep going until we win."

We had to spend some more time cheering them up, but they eventually agreed.

Team Plasma, Aqua, and the Aura Guardians left. They said it was because Viridian was dealt with, but I think they just got scared that we're going to be nuked again. Wimps. It's only a nuclear detonation. Anyways, that left Poké Underground, Unovan Strike Team, and the Friends of Kalos.

We marched off. We had to take a detour to Indgio because of the large nuclear wasteland that was once Viridian.

As we continued, we came across a large metal wall.

"Well I'll be damned," Gold said. "They still have these up."

No one else understood what he was talking about.

"What are they?" I asked.

"The Indigo checkpoints. It's how they stopped the weak trainers from entering Victory Road."

"Wouldn't having a group of dancers blocking the door also work?" I asked.

Gold looked at me like I was crazy. "A group of dancers? Why would a group of dancers get in the way of a Pokémon trainer?"

"To make sure that the player can make no important choices whatsoever while progressing the plot," Ethan said.

Gold looked confused, before shrugging it off. "Anyways, this is important. Victory Road is literal hell. I would advise anyone not sure in their abilities as a trainer to stop now."

No one budged.

"Yea, I kinda expected that. Well Red, you're the strongest trainer here. Lead the way."

I walked through the checkpoints and made it to the cave entrance.

Gold was right. Victory Road is hell. The wild Pokémon are strong as fuck.

"Wing Attack on the Machoke," I ordered Ignite, for the 50th time. Travelling in such a large group attracts a lot of wild Pokémon. Thankfully, I don't have to fight off all of them.

After three hours in hell, we made it to the end. We stepped outside.

It was night, but that didn't change much. There was just one large building, with several gates and a single entrance. It was undefended.

"So, they're trying to lure us in, right?" May asked.

"I would assume so."

The door opened, and out came one person, dressed in white. He walked over to us.

"Hello. You must be Poké Underground."

"Are you going to scream 'praise Team Rocket' and blow up?" I asked.

"No, no. See, Giovanni-"

"You're wearing white. You follow Pryce," Gold pointed out.

"Quite observant. Well, Pryce would like to destroy you orderly. The best trainers in the world are all in that building. Once they render your main form of defense useless, we can easily defeat you."

"Couldn't you just shoot us right now?" Blue asked.

"If only. You are quite well known to cheat death, so we've given up on those types of tactics. On behalf of Team Rocket, I can assure you that this is a last resort."

"So why are you here?" Gold asked.

"My job is simply to escort you to the battlegrounds."

"Should we follow him?" Leaf whispered.

"Probably not, but like he said, he literally cannot kill us," I responded. I turned to the man. "Lead the way."

"I thank you for making this simple."

He led us into the building. The first floor was just a single room. It had similar features to a Pokémon Center, just bigger. At the end was a set of six doors.

"Let me guess. One door for every region?" I asked.

"That is accurate," Our 'guide' said.

"Why does no one ever care about Orre?" Michael asked.

"Someone does. I mean, how else did you make it into this story?" I pointed out. I got a couple confused stares. "Sorry, that's my last fourth wall break until main plot arc is done."

There was one other problem. The Unovan Strike Team and Friends of Kalos aren't here. I mean, we could just have 3 people go through each door, but that spreads us out more thin than I would like.

I called Hilbert.

"Red, where are you guys? You kinda took off after the whole nuke thing."

"We're at Indigo, and we need help.

"...Oh. You're… You're ending it, aren't you? The last battle?"

"Battles. We have like, 40 high-level trainers to deal with and we need help."

"Okay. Send me the coordinates and my team will be there. I'll tell Friends of Kalos too."

Soon after, the other teams came. The guide tried to shoo them off, but was met with various Pokémon attacks.

"Okay, they can stay," he surrendered.

We split up into our usual teams. Sinnoh has Dawn, Lucas, Barry, and Zach; Hoenn has May, Brendan, Wes, Ruby, Sapphire, and Wally (why did I have so many people in Hoenn?); Johto has Gold, Silver, Ethan, and Lyra; and Kanto has Yellow, Michael, Blue, Leaf, and me.

Once we were ready, we each entered our room. These are going to be the best battles of all time.

The first room we entered was made almost entirely of ice. The roof, floor. The only thing that wasn't was two pools of water making up the right and left sides of the arena. In the center was a redhead with a black dress and glasses.

"So, here you are. Let's make this quick, I don't want to have to bother Bruno. My name is Lorelei, and you're not going to get past me."

"Wait, who's battling her?" I asked.

"I'll do it!" Yellow volunteered.

"Knock her out," I said.

Yellow's POV

"Gravvy, I choose you!" I yelled, sending out my Graveler.

"Dewgong! End it early!" she said.

"Gravvy, use Rock Throw!"

"Into the water Dewgong."

The rock lost all it's speed when it hit the water, doing no damage.

"And, Surf," Loreli ordered.

"Gravvy, return!"

The Surf missed since there was no target.

"Chuchu, I believe in you!" I said, sending out my Pikachu.

"How cute, a Pikachu-"

"Use Thunder!" I ordered.

Chuchu hit the water, which hit Dewgong, knocking her out.

"Wha- how did such an inferior Pokémon beat my Dewgong?"

"Did I really sound like this when you battled me?" I asked Red. He nodded.

Red's POV

So apparently Yellow forgot to fix Chuchu after the Team Rocket experiments when she was under their control. So she was using a hyper-powered electric-type against a team that is three-fourths water-types. It was a slaughter (kinda ironic that it came from Yellow).

"Chuchu, finish this with Thunderbolt!"

Yellow knocked out Lorelei's Jynx, ending the battle.

"Nice work Chuchu," Yellow praised.

"You know that your win was a fluke, right? I was missing my signature Pokémon."

"Which is?" Leaf asked.

"Lapras," Lorelei responded. "It was stolen from me by some scientist."

I looked at Azure's Pokéball. I'm pretty sure the guy I got it from said something about stealing it from… oh.

"Go, Azure!" I yelled.

Azure looked at me, then Lorelei.

"How… You worked with the scientist, didn't you? That's my Lapras! Lapras, get back here!"

Azure shot an Ice Beam at Lorelei, freezing her from her feet to shoulders.

"I'm not sure she's very fond of you," I commented.

"You traitor!" she cried.

"There it is again," I said. "If I had a nickel for every time someone in Team Rocket said that..."

Lorelei ignored my comment.

"Well, we have to go," I said. "Azure, return!"

We moved into the next room. There, the battlefield was sand and the walls were metal. In the center was a man with white pants and no shirt.

"I see Lorelei failed. Figures, for a person who likes strategy. Raw power will always be stronger."

Michael twitched.

"That's why all of my Pokémon are shadow," he continued.

Michael was shaking.

"I'm doing this one," he said.

"Ah, a geek," he said, looking at Michael. "This should be easy."

After calming down a bit, Michael sent out his Shiftry.

"A Dark type? Against a fighting type trainer? This should be even easier. Go, Onix!"

Michael gave him a "are you fucking kidding me?" look.

True to his word, the Onix was a shadow Pokémon, and Michael noticed it too.

Michael's POV

"Shiftry, use Razor Leaf!" I called. It was 4x effective on his Onix, instantly knocking him out. What's this guy doing?

"Huh, guess that Onix is too weak for me. Return!"

"I'm no expert, but wouldn't have sending out a fighting type been a better choice?" Leaf asked, sarcastically.

"Grr… shut up! But… go, Machamp!"

"I think I can get away with it this time," I mumbled to myself. It would take 3 Razor Leafs to get him within-

"Machamp, use Cross Chop!"

I was too distracted to notice it at first. I only realized when it hit Shiftry.

"Oof… sorry Shiftry. Use Razor Leaf!"

Shiftry gave me a look before following my order.

It obviously fazed Machamp, but didn't do much.

"Hah, you think shooting some leaves at my Machamp will work?"

"Well, it's more than leaves. It's a high-velocity sharp object with induced mass from the natural energy-"

"You bore me kid. Machamp, another Cross Chop, and do it right this time!"

Machamp ran up close and struck Shiftry, who faded into nothing.

"Wha-"

"It's a thing called double team, which always seems to work on people like you. Now, another Razor Leaf Shiftry."

Shiftry emerged from the other side of the battlefield and hit Shiftry again. Now he's hurt.

"Okay Machamp, get off-"

"And, Snag Ball."

I threw a Snag Ball at his Machamp, which captured him.

"What? Where's my Machamp?"

I decided not to tell him.

"Ah, he was trash anyways. Go, Hitmonchan!"

I didn't really feel like capturing the rest of his team, so I just decided to end it quickly.

"Shiftry, return. Go, Moltres!"

I destroyed his Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Hitmontop with one Sky Attack each.

"How… I'm down to my last Pokémon. Go, Onix!"

"Hold on," I paused. "You, a fighting type trainer, have not one, but two rock types? Not only that, but you decided to send out your three remaining fighting types against a fire-flying legendary while having one extra rock type? What the fuck is wrong with you? Even Red wouldn't do that."

"Of course I would," he said

"In a conventional fight Red wouldn't do that," I corrected.

"Well… who needs type advantage when you have strength?"

I had Shiftry one-shot him.

"How? How did you beat me?" he asked.

We just walked out of the room.

"Wait! You're not going anywhere!"

"Okay. We won't," I said, exiting the room and closing the door. He looked slightly confused.

Red's POV

"Isn't the first person you fight supposed to be the worst?" I asked.

"Well, I used less Pokémon than Michael," Yellow said. I forgot she was still with us.

"Yea, well…"

We came up to the next room. It was really dark. Great.

"Hey, anyone here got a Pokémon with Flash?" I asked.

"That won't be necessary," a voice said from the darkness. A old, old lady came into view.

"Aunt Agatha…." Blue mumbled.

"You know her?" Yellow asked.

"Yea… she and gramps have known each other for a long time…"

"Ah, Blue, the traitor-"

"To be fair, like, almost all of us are traitors," I interrupted.

"I'm not," Michael said, proudly.

"Right… Well, Blue, I can see what happened after being left with your grandfather for so long," she said, vaguely.

"Well, he only knew him for like, seven years," i said.

"Right… But he rubbed off on you. You grew up around that mush, and became, that," Agatha said, pointing at Blue. "Well, Maybe you can change…"

"Wait, hold on-"

"SHUT UP RED!" Agatha and Blue yelled at the same time.

"FIne, geez."

"I have become the strongest I can be," Blue said. "I've learned to trust my Pokémon, to believe in them. That's something that you never would have shown me."

"Because it's useless! Compassion, caring, kindness… it does NOTHING!"

"Oh yeah? Let's see about that. Go, Arcanine!" Blue yelled.

"So, you're fighting me, huh? Okay. Go, Gengar!"

"Hold on a second!" Michael yelled. They both paused to look at him.

"Blue, while I can tell you have something of a feud with Agatha, she's not their strongest. Admittedly, you are the second-strongest one here. If you waste your Pokémon now, then that leaves Leaf-"

"Come on Michael, this is getting good," I said.

"But it makes no sense-"

"Shhhh," Leaf said.

"Uhh… fine. Carry on."

"Well then," Agatha said. "Are there any other interruptions?"

No one spoke up.

"Then let us begin the fight."

Blue's POV

"Arcanine, use Flamethrower!" I called

"Use Shadow Punch Gengar."

Arcanine stood his ground while Gengar got closer. Flamethrower hit but the Shadow Punch broke up most of the damage. Suddenly, Gengar faded through the floor and behind Arcanine.

"Jump! Quick!" I yelled.

Arcanine barely jumped in time, but was able to dodge the attack.

"So, your Pokémon do have some worth. Fine then."

"Extremespeed!" I ordered.

"Hah, pathetic. You think I don't see what you're going to do? At the last moment, you'll tell your Pokémon to switch to a move that actually will affect Gengar, which is supposed to catch me off-guard while giving him the momentum of an Extremespeed. Normally, it would work. But I know you-"

"Use Bite!" I ordered. Arcanine hit Gengar in the middle of Agatha's monologue. I feel like I've seen Red do that before…

"You disrespectful heathen!" Agatha yelled.

"Says the person who spent a full year trying to convince me to join Team Rocket," I responded

"I did it because I saw a far more glorious life for you than… this!"

"You literally told me that my parents never loved me! Several times!"

"All for the greater good."

"Well, you kinda failed," I said. "Now, Arcanine, use Bite again!"

Gengar was already weakened from the last attack, and was knocked out.

"You failed me… return!"

"You know, I wouldn't have won that part if my Pokémon didn't trust me," I pointed out. "Remember when you went through the floor? Arcanine reacted so quickly because he knew I would find a solution."

"So? That example is one in a million."

"Stop talking and fight already," Red yelled from the back.

"Will you please contain your friend?" Agatha asked.

"I've been trying for the past year."

"Fine. Go, Golbat!"

"Arcanine, return. Go, Rhydon!"

"Ohh…" Agatha mused. I'm assuming that her Golbat doesn't have any good moves to fight a Rock-Ground type. Good for me.

"Rhydon, use Rock Tomb!" I called.

"Dodge, then toxic!"

"Make sure she can't do that."

The Rock Tomb almost missed, but a small part hit Golbat. Against a Flying type, that small part is a lot, enough to throw off Golbat's aim.

"Perfect!" I yelled. "Now, use Take Down!"

"I thought I knew you better Blue. You were never one to make such a rash call. Golbat, pull up."

Golbat flew up, out of the way of the take down.

"Jump, then Horn Drill!"

I caught Agatha off-guard. The Horn Drill landed, instantly knocking Golbat out.

"Horn Drill OP please nerf," I heard Red say.

"That was a cheap tactic," Agatha complained. "Far too lowly for a person such as me to battle, so I refuse to prolong this any longer."

"Are you forfeiting?" I asked.

"Of course not! I am proposing a compromise. You turn around, and Team Rocket will stop hunting you."

"Nope. I'm good."

"Well I'm not sending out my next Pokémon."

"Then that's a forfeit," Michael said.

"Okay, then let me correct that. I will need a lot of time to send out my next-"

"I'm sick of this. Azure, use Ice Beam!"

"Wait, wha-"

Red's Lapras froze Agatha

"She was a bitch anyways," Red said. "Now, Leaf, you ready for the next guy?"

"Of course! Ditto will probably mess them up. Or Articuno."

Red's POV

We moved on, into a better-lit room. It was actually huge. The roof was abnormally high.

"Alright, who's my opponent?" Leaf asked, pumped up.

"You five are here. That's great. Agatha failed."

We looked up the room. There was a balcony halfway from the floor to the roof, where a man with a red Goku haircut was standing.

"Hey Lance," I said. "When was the last time we saw? Wasn't it in that air-fight?"

"Yes, it was. But now, this is a real battle. I the dragon-type master, will crush you!"

Leaf looked at Articuno's Pokéball.

"Are you ready to challenge me? Well then. Go, Dragonite!"

"Go, Articuno!" Leaf called.

Lance lost his prideful expression.

"You have… you have an ice-type legendary… shit."

I had to cover Yellow's eyes because of how much of a sweep it was. Six attacks were fired that battle. Six Pokémon were knocked out.

"Just my luck, I got to fight the kid with an Ice-Type legendary… Arceus must hate me."

The final room was pitch black. We couldn't see anything, until some lights flicked on. Inside was… well, this is no surprise. Red.

"And so we're here. I don't think this could have ended any other way."

"Please, for the love of Arceus, please tell me you're better than the people we've been battling for the past four hours," I begged.

"Of course. I am the global champion, after all."

I looked around some more. There was a simple outdoor arena, with four or five rows of benches on both sides. The benches on my side had our Sinnoh Team, Unovan Strike Team, and the Friends of Kalos. His side had Pryce and a few other admins.

"So, are you ready? The final showdown of Team Rocket versus rebels. I know I am."

We had an intense glaring match for like, five minutes. During that time, the Johto team came out, saw was was happening, and took a seat on one of the benches.

"Well then. Let us begin."

"Hold up. This is too epic of a battle to do it like that. Someone give us an official start."

Michael groaned, before standing up.

"This is a six on six battle between Red and Fire Red. Will both sides release their first Pokémon?"

Red sent out an Espeon. In response, I sent out Blacklight.

"Ready? Battle, begin!"

Flinky: Well, no need to wait for the next chapter. It's already here. Just click, like, next or something.
