A/N: hey guys. I finally got ch8 done and srry I didn't update last weekend. I didn't get to finish typing and I also had no access to internet so yea. anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter and sorry about the double lines thing, the thingy was being weird.
We arrived back at the manor and Lily walked straight to her room. As soon as she entered the her parlor room, she walked out onto the balcony, taking in the cool, refreshing night breeze and the crescent moon. Lily stood there for a few minutes when she saw rustling in the trees down below. She quickly pulled out her dual guns from her boots and readied her aim. All of a sudden, a dark blur emerged from the trees and ran up towards her balcony. Lily started firing, each one missing. She swore under her breath as the blur made it to her balcony.
"Woah there! I was only trying to return your handkerchief." Chase said sarcastically.
"Stupid! I could have shot you! And I don't even own a handkerchief." Lily relied with a punch.
Chase smiled, "I know, I only said that to sound romantic and have an excuse to see you."
"well, it was obviously stupid and….. wait did u say to sound romantic and an excuse to see me? Whats that supposed to mean?"
Chase walked off the balcony and into the parlor room as his cheeks turned slightly pink. "um, well about that…"
"are you admitting that you crushing on me?" Lily said as she smirked.
"what! Why would I like you?" Lily stared at him questioningly, smirking, until he broke.
"fine! I like you whatever. What does it matter to you anyway?"
"well," Lily said, taking a step closer, " it interests me as to why you like me."
"um, well, uhhh, your cool, and really strong , and well, pretty too." Chase blushed madly as he said this.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Lady Lily, are you in there? Could you spare a moment, please?" Sebastian said behind the door.
"crap! He's gonna kill me if he sees me here with you." Whispered Chase.
"Go hide out on the balcony. I'll keep him distracted." Lily said as she shut him out on the balcony. She then walked over and opened the door, revealing Sebastian carrying a tea tray.
"Miss Lily, I brought you some evening tea. I didn't know how you felt about tea, so I brought you some of my master's favorite, Earl Gray." He said as he set the tray on the table.
"Thank you Sebastian," she said as she took a sip, "I don't particularly care for tea, but this is surprisingly good. No wonder its Ciel's favorite."
"yes, well he does highly enjoy it, with the 100 pounds of it we have in the pantry."
"holy crap, 100pounds?! You've got to be kidding me. How much of this does he drink?" she said, shock obvious on her face.
"Hmm, about 5 pounds a week. I have to restock about every 4 and a half months." Sebastian said with a straight face. Lily just gaped at him, wondering how on earth that seemed normal to him.
"well, thank you again for the tea, Sebastian. I think I'm going to head to bed now. See you tomorrow…" she was cut off by Sebastian as his face got closer to hers.
"before I leave, I was wondering who was here with you not a moment before I arrived at the door?"
"N-no one, Sebastian. What made you think such a thing?" Lily stuttered as she tried to back away from him.
"oh really? Then how come I heard you and someone else whispering, plus I sensed another presence besides yours, a he I might add." He said as he leaned in closer.
"I don't know what your talking about. And if there was someone in here, how could you necessarily know if it was a male or not."
"well, this presence is one I am familiar with, so I know it is a male." He said as he walked towards the balcony. He flung open the doors and dragged Chase in.
"Damn.." they both mumbled under their breathes.
"Now Chase, why are you here at the manor, let alone in Miss Lily's room?" Sebastian stared daggers at Chase, who didn't dare look towards Sebastian.
"well I was….um, well, about that.." Chase stuttered as a light dusting of pink appeared on his face.
"we were only hanging out Sebastian. When we met the other day, we saw that we had stuff in common and became fast friends. He was only here to say hello and see how I was. Nothing more, nothing less." Lily said.
"I see. Well then, you may continue this visit. Don't stay too long now, Chase. Goodnight to you both, and I will see you in the morning, Lily." Sebastian said as he closed the door behind him, still a bit suspicious on the whole ordeal.
Chase sighed, "that was close."
"I know right," Lily said as she yawned, "man, I'm tired." She swayed a bit as she headed towards her head, soon falling over and landing in Chase's arms.
"well this certainly has been one interesting night." He said as he carried Lily to her bed.
